  4.
  5. Use the button below to place a 0.01 placeholder bid, to reserve your priority placement in our Initial Token Offering.
  6.
  7. You can top-up this bid with your full investment at any time before January 25th 2017, when the Initial Token Offering officially opens (and the option to top up your reservation bid closes). Tokens will be issued in early February, dividends will follow shortly after that. And you'll be able to resell your tokens on our marketplace at any time after issue. Referral commissions (10%) will be paid as the tokens are issued.
  8.
  9. Reservation bids work on a first come first served basis. And they are placed, in the order that they're received, immediately after the last 'pre-bid' (a separate, and limited, option available to users with a membership number <10000). Bids are placed in the lowest available Block, until all the tokens are consumed, and then they automatically overflow into subsequent blocks. Thereby the faster you reserve your place, the better token price you'll get, and ultimately the more money you'll make.
  10.
  11. It's not possible to know exactly which of the 20 blocks of tokens you'll be purchasing from, prior to January 25th. And subsequently how many tokens (what share of Banana Fund) you'll receive. However, you will have the opportunity to cancel your order for a full refund, after Jan 25th, if you're not happy with the final terms.

  16. Would you like to sell your Banana Fund account?
  17.
  18. If you have no interest in the Banana Fund initial offering, that closes to pre-bids in 10 days time, there are people waiting to buy your account in order to participate in the pre-bid launch promotion that you're entitled to.
  19.
  20. Membership numbers:
  21. 1-62......... $10 pre-bid pays $1600 @ $20m valuation.
  22. 63-187....... $10 pre-bid pays $800
  23. 188-563...... $10 pre-bid pays $533
  24. 564-1314..... $10 pre-bid pays $400
  25. 1315-2880.... $10 pre-bid pays $320
  26. 2881-4760.... $10 pre-bid pays $266
  27. 4761-6953.... $10 pre-bid pays $228
  28. 6954-10k..... $10 pre-bid pays $200
  29. Click on Initial Offering and then click on 'Pre-Bids' to find your membership number.
  30.
  31. To sell your account, reply to my facebook post below, with your membership number. Someone will contact you to buy your account. The lower your membership number, the more you'll get... But even the last accounts are worth a few bucks, as look at the earning potential on just ten bucks!

  43. February 2nd 2017
  44.
  45. I'm flying to Romania in a few hours, in anticipation of my meeting with Pavel tomorrow morning, where we'll sign the documents to formally create the HR company. This is a key step to scaling Banana Fund, as until we have a legitimate corporation, we can't hire people properly. And I will not repeat previous mistakes of relying on part-time employees. We need an order of magnitude more productivity and professionalism than that. I'll try and grab some photos of my 24hour business trip to show you tomorrow, and we'll see how things go!
  46.
  47. To repeat the news summary from yesterday:
  48.
  49. The marketplace is under development. Eta Feb 14-21st. As soon as that's ready we'll issue your tokens, pay referral commissions and start paying dividends on your holdings, sharing our revenues, as soon as we're able! Cashouts will be built right after as well (before the end of the month).
  50. The crowd translations module is also under development. Eta unknown.
  51. I'm working with the designer on the final website design, that we'll likely install at the end of March, as we begin processing user projects/ideas. The design itself is about done; we're currently working page by page, planning and presenting the content. I'll post some previews later this week.
  52.
  53. More news tomorrow!
  54.
  55. Richard
  56.
  57. We'll be deploying the first version of the marketplace on a special development server later this week. Your accounts will be credited with some fun money, and we'll do a mock issue of your tokens for you to have a play on the marketplace. Allowing us to test the system and see what bugs pop up.
  58.
  59.
  60.
  61. Almost ready!
  62.
  63. February 22nd 2017
  64.
  65. We're almost ready to launch the first version of the marketplace. It's not pretty, and there's a lot that can be improved. But the very basic functionality is there! And that's the core requirement right now. We'll sort out the rest later!
  66.
  67. The designer says he'll have the first version of the HR website design ready sometime this week. Then we'll be able to start building that website in parallel.
  68.
  69. Everything is very scrappy at the moment, but we're making progress. Next month we'll start to apply the design to the website, and actually start building the project creation and brainstorming functions. And then this will start to work/be something!
  70.

  73. February 21st 2017
  74.
  75. Marketplace development
  76. We are in the final phase of crowd testing the first version of our marketplace. If you want to help out, you can access our development server here: http://beta.banana.fund/trading ... If you have placed a bid in the initial token offering, we've credited your account with some fun money & some tokens for testing... So have a play (it's all fun money), and if you see any issues or have any suggestions, please post in the chat at the bottom of the marketplace. You'll be talking directly to the programmer who will implement the fixes as required.
  77.
  78. * We've been doing this for a full week already, so we're almost ready to put this live. We're just working on the referral commissions stuff, and then we only have to do the calculation for exactly how many tokens to issue everyone. And we'll be ready.
  79.
  80. All going to plan... we'll issue your tokens and launch the marketplace on the live site in the next day or two. And pay your referral commission etc.... We'll then let the marketplace run on the live site for 48-72hours before deploying the cashouts module. Just to ensure there are no bugs or other issues before we let users cash out their initial earnings.
  81.
  82. Crowd Translations
  83. This is in progress, and I believe nearing completion. I'll chase up the details after the marketplace is online.
  84.
  85. Yet Another Company SRL
  86. I'm waiting for the designer to get back to me with the website design to sell our staff hours/services. We'll hopefully see something later this week.
  87.
  88. We have the company paperwork all sorted- we're just working on the VAT number at the moment, and opening the company bank accounts and what not;
  89.
  90.
  91.
  92. Going Forwards
  93. The HR business is coming together.... so the main task there is to begin hiring and start building the team we need to build both Banana Fund and all the user projects.
  94.
  95. And for Banana Fund itself... we'll build/deploy:
  96. - Marketplace
  97. - Cashouts
  98. - Company Accounting module (so you can watch our cash flow + invoices spending that money)
  99. - Revenues ... showing all the trading fees, cashout fees etc.
  100. - Dividends -- sharing those revenues back with token holders as frequently as we can.
  101.
  102. As soon as those bits are done... we'll begin work on the actual project submission & brainstorming processes. And at this point, we'll aim to install the new design we have for the member area.... I'm hoping the end of next month; the website will start to resemble what we're actually trying to do!
  103.
  104. And after that, we can focus on improving everything. And turning our initial very rudimentary systems and views into cutting edge stuff! ... As the initial marketplace is very simple - and a bit ugly in my opinion. But later this year, once we get a dedicated team on it - we'll have it right up there alongside the big bitcoin exchangers and forex brokers (in terms of how they look / function)... It's just a matter of baby steps!
  105.

  107.
  108.
  109. JOHN O'NEIL, English citizen, born June 28, 1986 in the UK, Birmingham,
  110. who lives in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,
  111. is officially approved for passport P, code GBR, 17/10 / 2024 No,
  112. with this confirmation. 326 of the Criminal Code regarding false statements comply with the legal conditions provided for by Romanian law for the storage and use of the services of the respective companies and managers of the undersigned. 02,2017, State Trade Register, United States Trade Register of Commerce, statement that he was not convicted of fraudulent management, breach of trust requirements with Act No. 656/2002 for the prevention and suppression of money laundering, as well as the establishment of preventive measures to combat the financing of terrorism, with amendments and additions, with the exception of cases specified in Law No. 85/2014 on the insolvency procedure, as amended. it is clearly stated that he took the mandate to the administrator. Any competent institution that must apply will be filed in Bucharest. 2017. A notary was compiled, discovered and registered today, February 3, in a single archive two notaries are kept in the office with a duplicate in which I published a number of duplicate WHO documents.
  113.
  114.
  115. I've sent 2 new functions to the programmer:
  116.
  117. 1) Token Freeze... The ability to lock your tokens from resale (optional). When you click 'unlock' a 1-28day release timer will commence (depending on what you set it at when you froze them)
  118. * This function will be mandatory for staff. And we'll set up a page where you can monitor frozen tokens & pending unlocks for any given marketplace.
  119.
  120. 2) A 2FA device reset button in the admin area... That will remove the 2FA key from your account, whilst automatically disabling cashouts + market trading for 7days. And add a big warning box at the top of every page for the next 7days informing the user about what just happened.
  121.
  122.
  123. I have sent the 'crowd voting' (polling) system to the programmer. We'll aim to build this right after the accounting + dividends modules (up next).
  124. Then in the daily news, I can propose whatever issue I like. And we'll vote on everything.
  125. We'll display two results with the polling...
  126. 1. All users.... a simply tally of who votes for each option. The raw quantity of users.
  127. 2. Token Holders... a weighted tally of which token holders want what according to their percentage ownership.
  128. The token holder count is the only one that matters... but the other value will add perspective.
  129. Then we'll operate per the token terms document I created previously. With the required percentages to enact each given type of event/choice.
  130. As a big token holder I will have a lot of say in most events... but at the same time, you'll be able to make your voice heard in a quantifiable value. And per the percentages set, I require at least some consensus on just about every issue. So it's not a total sham.
  131. And even if things go through that you don't agree with. Your objections are noted... and it can be used to build a history. (That will help with the user projects... as if there are any disputes/requests to change the project manager. We can review the level of discord and make a judgment accordingly)
  132.
  133. Cashouts are working! We'll update the stats page next to show you the pending & paid lists.
  134. And i've posted todays news on the website.
  135.
  136.
  137. February 23rd 2017
  138.
  139. I think it's unlikely that we'll be launching the marketplace this evening... we're running into a few small details that are holdings things back. And much of today has been consumed with upgrading a mechanism for keeping lots of simultaneous browser connections up to date with current and accurate information (ie. real-time trading)
  140.
  141. No news yet from the designer for the HR website.
  142. But we have set up the company bank account, and we're now working on the credit card stuff (for the sale of staff services/hours for the HR company) ... This will hopefully provide a really roundabout way for users to back projects via credit card. I shall explain further once it's all set-up!
  143.
  144. Richard
  145.
  146.
  147. Marketplace development
  148. I'm hoping in the next 7days to do a mock issue on our development server. We'll seed your account with your due tokens + some fun money, to allow you to have a play, test out the marketplace, and feedback/communicate with the programmer directly. (Anything you do on the dev server won't be saved... it's just for testing purposes. As soon as we're happy we'll put the marketplace on the live site and actually issue your tokens) ... I'll let you know as soon as the programmer is ready.
  149.
  150.
  151. Crowd Translations
  152. This module will allow users to submit and upvote suggested translations to the website. With the highest rated translations for each individual zone being automatically applied to the website... This module is in progress (via a part-time programmer) - however, I don't have any additional details at this point.
  153.
  154. Yet Another Company SRL
  155. I believe we get the paperwork through for the HR business in Bucharest tomorrow. As soon as that's done, we'll set up the office in a flash, and begin hiring. We have the communications/support role ready and waiting (with the intention of getting started on March 1st). And we are in contact with two human resource/hiring companies that will help us find the programmers we really need.
  156.
  157. We should also see the website design for the HR business later this week - allowing us to promote the services we offer. And potentially find third party clients to supplement all the work that Banana Fund refers... So you'll start to see that little independent business coming together in the next month or so. This business model we'll aim to replicate with all the HR companies we set up all over the world, to service the needs of Banana Fund, and the user projects. And as you see the HR operate as an independent business - it'll give you a little taste of what we'll be doing with all the user projects.
  158.
  159.
  160. Other
  161. I'll post the next update on Thursday... As I'm flying to Brazil tonight, and I'll likely need 24hours to get comfy and back into a working mood.... But I'll be in Brazil for the next month at least, so if anyone is interested in setting up a meeting in Florianopolis let me know and we'll sort it out.
  162.
  163.
  164.
  165. February 28th 2017 No news. In progress!
  166.
  167. We're addressing a few issues / potential issues with balances and marketplace related stuff... nothing major, just a bit time-consuming... Beyond that, the immediate programming queue is as follows;
  168.
  169. 1. Cashouts... eta - a matter of days.
  170. 2. Accounting
  171. 3. Revenues
  172. 4. Dividends
  173. 5. Marketplace improvements... I believe this is forming a trial/test project for a potential programming hire.
  174.
  175. I'm still waiting for the designer to get back to me regarding the HR website design. That should be ready any day now (it's overdue).
  176.
  177. And, as I just posted on Facebook, I'm doing some research whilst i'm in Brazil regarding buying up cheap land, to potentially develop it. I may trial the process by buying a piece of landing, and building myself a house. And then if that works; we can go big via Banana Fund financing a bigger project.... As there's some potential here I think, and if we can get a bank on board as well (very likely), then the capital requirements are a lot less than you think! So it has good potential for an early project - when our fundraising abilities are minimal.
  178.
  179. Richard
  180.
  181. Next Steps.
  182.
  183. February 26th 2017
  184.
  185.
  186. The marketplace is now online, check it out: https://banana.fund/trading
  187.
  188. I've sent the cashout functions to the programmer... and we'll aim to deploy that ASAP. There's nothing remarkable about it - so it'll hopefully only take 2-3 days to deploy.
  189.
  190. Right after that, we'll build the accounting module. Where you can see Banana Funds company cash, and expenditures (plus invoices where possible). And then we'll build the revenues page, logging cashout + trading fees initially. Then once those two systems are in place - we can then build the dividends module. And start paying those as fast as we earn anything.
  191.
  192. That will essentially complete pre-launch site. And then we'll get on with building the actual Banana Fund website. The designer will send the PSD files to chop up on Monday... We'll then transition the basic functionality into that template, into its 'pretty' form. And we'll crack straight on with user projects submission & brainstorming.
  193.
  194. Around the end of March / sometime in April Banana Fund will start to look like Banana Fund. And start actually doing what we're planning to do!
  195.
  196. Richard
  197.
  198. Marketplace Launch
  199.
  200. February 25th 2017
  201.
  202. The marketplace is now online, check it out: https://banana.fund/trading
  203.
  204. Forewarning... in the event of a catastrophic bug during the next 72hours (seeing as the marketplace is a big, and complex bit of code) we may reset the system completely which will wipe all trades. However, if all goes well, we will enable cashouts on Tuesday/Wednesday.
  205.
  206. 10% referral commissions have been added to your balance for the successful token bids during the initial offering. All other referral commissions (and ref-back payments) will be added to your account once daily, at midnight server time.
  207.
  208. Let's see how this goes!
  209. (This is only the very first version of the marketplace... we will improve the functionality and visuals later this year -- but initially we're just trying to get the basics online ASAP)
  210.
  211. Richard
  212.
  213. Revenues Page Added
  214.
  215. March 8th 2017
  216.
  217. We've added the first version of the revenues page: https://banana.fund/revenues
  218. Not much to it just yet, but once we get everything built, and start processing projects, it will evolve considerably.
  219.
  220. Next up, will be the accounting section... where you can monitor the companies cash-flow. (The money we have to build and run the business, and see how it's spent). The first version will undoubtedly be simple, but I have plans to expand it until we get to the point that we can account for every single satoshi in the system- right down to the mining fees involved when moving funds between the hot & cold wallets.... This is a really key system, both for transparency, and also the mechanics of this whole crowd platform -- making the money go around, and get it back to the token holders.
  221.
  222. I've also sent the crowd voting system to the programmer... We'll add that to the daily news initially so that users can vote on every issue. And we'll turn this into a proper crowd platform!
  223.
  224. Obviously, with my large token holding, I will have a lot of influence over all the Banana Fund decisions... but this process and philosophy will serve us especially well when it comes to managing user projects. And even if we pass decisions that you don't agree with, your opinion will be heard in a quantifiable manner (per your token holding).
  225.
  226. Anyway, the pieces are slowly coming together... Another week or two on this pre-launch site / some key systems... then we'll get started on the actual Banana Fund platform, with the fancy design, and start working on the actual project processing and brainstorming functions. Then you'll see what all this is working towards!
  227.
  228. Richard
  229.
  230. March 3, 2017
  231.
  232. To get a balance, to request a release! You can request 1 payout per 24 hours,
  233. 0.5 BTC per day for unverified accounts (we have added a verification system in the near future! Withdrawing money may take up to 24 hours (we will automate this process later, after the site is completed).
  234.
  235. Further, in exceptional order:
  236. - Website translation module
  237. - Accounting
  238. - Income
  239. - dividends
  240. - Verification
  241. - HR company design and website
  242.
  243. Once this is all done ... the pre-launch of the site will be completed. And we really can get a ready-made platform for processing and financing your ideas. Then everything will be interesting. It takes patience while we finish it all.
  244.
  245. Do not expect any wonderful prices for tokens (in the market); There is practically no need to buy the next month or two, at least after you begin to see the platform.
  246.
  247. And just re-sort your position ...
  248. I will not sell this year at all. Not! I suggest you do the same. When we perform a function in the market, we may voluntarily freeze that some of them will be resold for a period of time. token trading. (for example. They must notify 30 days before selling tokens).
  249.
  250. February 28th 2017 No news. In progress!
  251.
  252. We're addressing a few issues / potential issues with balances and marketplace related stuff... nothing major, just a bit time-consuming... Beyond that, the immediate programming queue is as follows;
  253.
  254. 1. Cashouts... eta - a matter of days.
  255. 2. Accounting
  256. 3. Revenues
  257. 4. Dividends
  258. 5. Marketplace improvements... I believe this is forming a trial/test project for a potential programming hire.
  259.
  260. I'm still waiting for the designer to get back to me regarding the HR website design. That should be ready any day now (it's overdue).
  261.
  263.
  264. Richard
  265.
  266. paprika: Work on the dividends has finally been started - should not be too long for that one.
  267.
  268. Poll
  269. What should Banana Fund do?
  270.
  271. Expected dividends: 2 - 1.4148%
  272. Crowd Security Network: 2 - 0.5420%
  273. Buy-Back to Token: 3 - 50.0750%
  274.
  275. Jo:
  276. The poll seems to work... not pretty, but functional! The % value is your weighted opinion based on how many tokens you hold.
  277.
  278. We'll tidy that up, and formalize the process later, for enacting crowd decisions.
  279.
  280.
  281. Accounting Part 1
  282.
  283. April 20th, 2017
  284.
  285.
  286. We've updated the site with the beginnings of the accounting module. And I think we have the first version of polling about done too.
  287.
  288. The next step is to expand the accounting a little, adding fields for:
  289. - Pending Dividends
  290. - Crowd Safety Net
  291. - Token Buy-Back
  292. Then we need to run a daily cron to automatically add the revenues to their respective balances in the accounting section. (eg. 50% of BTC revenues each day are added to the crowd safety net balance, 10% to dividends, 5% to token buyback and 35% to the actual BTC company cash balance).
  293.
  294. And from that... we can then pay dividends by deducting funds from the pending dividend balance whenever there is a worthwhile amount available to pay. And the same with token buy back, to automatically buy up the cheapest offers on the marketplace (deducting funds from that balance, and adding the purchase to the BF Token balance).
  295.
  296. That will be the general mechanics of the accounting section. All fully transparent. I'll begin populating the accounting with the available company cash, and all invoices in the next couple weeks. Then we have the money flow all sorted. (With the exception of bitcoin mining / tx fees... need to integrate those into the accounting at some point as an expense/overhead)
  297.
  298. Thereafter, we'll begin building the actual website. Processing ideas, funding & trading them.
  299.
  300. I would assume another week or two to wrap up the accounting stuff and dividends. Then we'll begin building the actual website next month... And I am going to simplify the hell out of things initially, to help the programmer and speed development along a little bit. We'll then improve everything thereafter.
  301.
  302. Slowly but surely!
  303.
  304. Richard
  305.
  306.
  307. Update!
  308.
  309. April 13th, 2017
  310.
  311.
  312. Nothing has happened the last month. The programmer was moving house, and just busy! We need to rectify being reliant on one key person. But that's easier said than done. For the moment, slow and steady is the surest course of action. We'll make it better at some point!

  314. Anyway, he is back to work now and polling should be ready in the next few days. This will allow any project manager to propose a motion, the crowd votes on that (weighted by your token holding), and once the required level of consensus is achieved, that project can pursue that course without any further oversight required. Pure crowd control for both Banana Fund, and any project.
  315.
  316. Cashouts are all done.
  317.
  318. And the basic homepage design for the HR business is done: http://trfc.tk/n/AnotherCompany/AC_home4.jpg ... We'll figure out actually building that at some point. Need to chop up the design, and create a simple content page for the actual order forms and user controls. (I think we'll find a new designer in future; this guy creates big expensive pretty pictures; but they're a long way short of a usable interface / website)

  326. The Banana Fund accounting module (part 2) is almost done.
  327.
  328. With the automated calculations of actual revenues, being added to it automatically at the end of each day. Along with summaries of manual entries for invoices etc. And accomodations for the safety net allocations, token buy-backs and what not.
  329.
  330. With that... dividends won't be far behind. And then we can build the listing forms & process.... We have all the major components -- we just need to glue them together into the listings themselves.
  331.
  332. 1. Create a project. Set the terms + variables and explain the idea. (Simply at first, we'll make it awesome later)
  333.
  334. 2. Users can chat to improve the idea. Again keep it very simple initially - make it funky later.
  335.
  336. 3. The funding form opens instantly on listing creation - bid in the initial offering style that we had for BF with every listing. (No pre-bids or complicated stuff... just bid & go)
  337.
  338. 4. If/when funded... we then approve / refund the idea, issue the tokens and launch the marketplace. Allowing users to trade projects (poloniex style).
  339.
  340. 5. We then build the project. And run the business per the terms. Feeding back the reports & dividends manually for each project.
  341. The initial simple version of all this, shouldn't take more than a few months to stitch together. Even with just 1 programmer.
  342. But I have an insanely simple interface in mind. I'm going to scrap all the design crap we wasted money on earlier this year. I have a 'Polo inspired design that couldn't be simpler' to use.

  347. Just a heads up - the dividends module is done and will be deployed on the beta server sometime today for last checks. Once approved, it will then go live...

  350. http://beta.banana.fund - I have updated the code to include the dividends and paid a small one. Please have a look and check if there are any obvious issues. Jo will check on his side as well
