TEK Armor Review

TEK armor is functional useless as a complete set, and only valuable for the individual buffs that each piece provides.

The TEK helm is a polymer mask with a glass crystal visor with a HUD, yet provides no benefit outside of target tracking at the cost of 1element per 180s (give or take a few minutes). The Snowy Owl provides a more valuable usage via IR mask

Does it not provide some sort of filtration?  Do I suspend all of my thought processes and assume that my CO2 laden breathing is just whisked away into the ether and the helmet artificially creates O2 constantly as it does when you use it underwater? Just above water the O2 is drawn passively from the air instead of being separated from the water via hydrolysis? Why does it allow breathing underwater yet provides no resistance to : Poison Wyvern, Swamp Gas, Basilisk breath attack, and Aberrant spore clouds.

Tek Chestpiece : woo jetpacks, the armor piece that does literally everything it is intended to. (Only used for building in PvP and offline scouting) PvE? ( Nullifies all dangers from the ground and nearly all dinos via jetbooster)

TEK leggings, "I am now Helena the Hedgehog, 'Gotta go fast' "Gain the ability to simultaneously be sonic the hedgehog in Super Sonic form, by dashing through everything destructible EXCEPT playermade structures (because balance)
Also **completely nullify all weight you're carrying because we want pur players to wear expensive items 24/7 to make their lives while crafting huge amounts of materials easier... You still have to use a whip to pick it up though, (just an oversight I'm sure)

TEK Gloves : basically useless for everything now that they've been abused to hell, (or if you're also wearing the chest piece to prevent yourself from falling to your death) dash attack is only useful for freeing yourself from Plant Y. (Which a torch does for 1 flint, 1 wood and 1 stone )

TEK Boots : wear these so you dont have to worry about fall damage, you know  when you dismount your giga or bronto or Mek or Titan. (Or ya know if you get picked in PvP, but honestly a stack of grapples is infinitely cheaper AND you dont have to carry Element on you.
Functionality is lacking when many items are widely available to perform the same   tasks for easier to obtain resources as well as the fact that a death is almost always negligible if you do lose your kit from a PK. Due to these considerations (among others, Element scarcity, TEKgrams for Hardcore mode players nearly nobody crafts or uses the TEK suit, because it simply does not feel like the endgame armor.  High Quality Flak will always take precedent, due to a greater damage reduction,  availability of resource for maintenance, and overall durability for usage
