PS3 Emulation on PC

Requirements
⦁	RPCS3 Emulator: https://rpcs3.net/download
⦁	PS3 Firmware: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/hardware/ps3/system-software/
⦁	Decryption Tools:
		IRD patcher: https://github.com/13xforever/ird-iso-patcher/releases
		3k3y ISO Tools: https://archive.org/details/IsoToolsV1.34.9.7z

Step 1: Install RPCS3

Step 2: Install PS3 Firmware
1.	Download PS3UPDAT.PUP from https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/hardware/ps3/system-software/
2.	Open RPCS3
3.	File → Install Firmware → Select PS3UPDAT.PUP

Step 3: Get Games
⦁	Encrypted ISOs: https://r-roms.github.io/megathread/sony/#sony-playstation-3
⦁	IRD files (for decryption): https://ps3.aldostools.org/ird.html

Step 4: Decrypt Games
Games must be decrypted before RPCS3 can run them. Run ird-iso-patcher and select the Game ISO and the .ird file
Using 3k3y ISO Tools (Windows)
1.	Open 3k3y ISO Tools
2.	Click "ISO Crypto"
3.	Select your .iso file
4.	If error appears: Select matching IRD file → Click "Patch"
5.	Wait for decryption
6.	Output: filename.dec.iso, in the same dir you have your encrypted ISO file

Step 5: Add to RPCS3
1.	Mount .dec.iso on Windows or extract the contents
2.	Put the extracted contents under RPCS3/games/
3.	Refresh RPCS3 and the game will show up

Troubleshooting
⦁	"Invalid file format" error: Game is still encrypted. Repeat Step 4.
⦁	Game-specific issues: Check https://rpcs3.net/compatibility

Notes
⦁	USA versions of some games (like God of War III) have issues. Try EU versions.
⦁	Verify decryption: EBOOT.BIN should start with "SCE" when opened in text editor.
⦁	Legal: Only use games you own.
