  1. So there's a lot going on here that's worth digesting.
  2.
  3. 1. The experience of ladder right now is a diverse meta with boring decks. This is what's going to happen at the end of a standard year - a lot of decks have been around for a year or more, there's the largest amount of cards that we'll see in the rotation, and the most powerful strategies. It is hard to stay engaged with the game at the moment for a lot of people and you are not the only one to feel this way.
  4. 2. Pirate warrior is *extremely* beatable. And you don't have to tech that hard for it... you just have to play a deck with a game plan against it. A lot of decks don't have one or have a poor one.
  5. 3. There's a decent amount of pirate warrior on the ladder but it's still 20% or less of the meta.
  6. 4. You are your own worst enemy here by switching decks. Pick one and the variance will even out. By constantly switching and altering, you are setting yourself up to be weaker against the matchups you haven't faced yet.
  7. 5. The victim mentality of "blizzard rigging MMR", "cancer meta", and "the game being almost dead" is infuriating because you are setting yourself up for failure and blaming an external source for it. A diverse meta - as you described it by queueing up and playing against non-pirate war decks - means you are allowing one particular matchup to tilt you. I have hit legend every season for an entire year by picking a deck and sticking with it as well as figuring out game plans against the best deck. In the mid shaman meta, I hit legend with secret hunter by adding unleash the hounds and going face. In the secret paladin meta, I hit legend with both zoo and aggro druid by beating them before they played Tirion. It's possible to do, but you have adopted this litany that there is nothing you can do and Blizzard is causing you to lose.
  8.
  9. *This is false*. You are capable of getting better. I saw you hit rank 3 last night - you are in the top 97% of players. The biggest problem with your game is the mental part and the meta has a lot of variety. Vicious syndicate actually indicates that aggro shaman is picking up in popularity again, suppressing pirate war - the meta is distorted right now but it is not unsolvable. If you don't enjoy it, feel free to stop playing the game, but blizzard is not doing anything to you and you changing your deck based on what you played last game is punishing you.
  10.
  11. In 2016, Hearthstone earned 400 million dollars in revenue - it's not going anywhere. I understand there are problems with the card pool as it stands, but this is *exactly* what the standard rotation is meant to address. Blizzard has had 3 balance changes in the past 12 months. They are rotating cards to address this problems. The adventures changed into expansions to give more cards to play with during the next season. Arena was completely reinvented due to community feedback. Team 5 is listening, and it's disappointing that despite all the efforts they've made, they go unrecognized by people that are tired of getting beaten when they exhibit ineffective ladder behaviors that are known to be poor.
