  1. Hello everyone and thank you for showing your support by visiting our forums and getting involved with this movement. As not everyone can be on IRC all of the time (including myself, despite my best attempts), this thread will be dedicated to releasing pertinent updates regarding the success and development of the Stop PRISM movement under the banner of the Resistance Campaign.

  3. As far as I've understood things, that was the approach to this we had been taken, so we should discuss that in a "theme" thread under Main Discussion.

  5. After speaking with JayJay extensively in the IRC, I managed to secure admin rights to the wordpress blog. While the blog is up-to-date with the relevant information, the format is still being worked on. JJ is designing what looks to be a promising new format for the webpage.

  7. We have flyers read to be hung up, but the files are JPGs and PNGs and would serve our purposes better as PDFs. Please keep in mind that the images and resources we have are by no means the end all, be all - if you know graphic design or know someone who does please feel free to contribute.

  9. The twitter account is suspended at the moment. When I woke up this morning and checked it at 10am EST, it said the account had been suspended for "aggressive following" purposes, and that we might have been reported by a user (implying it was an automated process). I had to check two promissory boxes to log back in, and the suspension "wore off" overtime. Later in the afternoon we got suspended again after I retweeted a person and replied to another. It is currently in appeals.

  11. The application for the Cleveland area protest has been filed! A shout out to Antiquity for all of his support and dedication thus far! We still need more demonstrations, but I believe it's becoming much more clear that making the end-of-June deadline may not be feasible for everyone. It may not also matter. Getting the world out about PRISM has done some real good. Later today (Friday afternoon), there will be a massive speaker demonstration in Washington, D.C. and I predict that demonstrations will definitely continue throughout the summer. We must be a part of this movement, we must attempt to impact the national consciousness and the discussion. We must stop PRISM.
  12.
  13. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or leave me an IM (in private dialogue) on IRC. It must be a direct message, otherwise it will scroll away over the course of time. But I will try to leave my connection to the IRC always up so that I can address questions as people leave them.
  14.
  15. Finally, if you have any updates, post them here. We'll work out a better system as time goes on.
  16.
  17. - Evan
