Ireland's History

I'm going to talk about Ireland and its history. Well, Ireland's history is very wide in terms of information - that's why I can't write everything about it, but I'll try to keep the quality to the top so you can understand everything. Enough of this useless sentences, let's start instead.

First of all, the first "immigrants" came to Ireland in 8000 BC (Before Christ) when hunters from Europe supposedly arrived from a land bridge (not confirmed). The first important happening in Ireland's history is when Saint Patrick arrived in the early of the mid-fifth century. Saint Patrick's vision was to make the Celtic religion, the official religion of Ireland (this process was completed within 600 years).

The Celtic religion was a part of the Christian religion, the only differences was that they had changed some of the regulations which was written in the Bible. They were more like the Protestants of the Christian religion nowadays rather than the Catholicism.

The first known Viking raid happened year 795 when the Vikings looted Ireland. These Viking raids were supposedly quick and didn’t have many soldiers to fight – since they wanted to go through unseen. They normally came from Norway, but other countries as well.
