Mankey% (FRLG) Routing

FRLG Any% Mankey Speedrun Reroute

A very meme category, fun to do once in a while but would drive you crazy to grind unless you're a masochist.

Based off of Hunter_Falco's route (https://pastebin.com/bmgLFGJV) with the following changes:

-Need a bit extra wild EXP for Mankeys starting at L2 (40+) or L3 (12+) prior to Rival 2. L2 NEEDS 9+ EXP for Liam, as usual.
-Fight Marcos (Hiker) in Mount Moon
-Do not Candy after Mt Moon (should hit L16 naturally, grind a wild in Route 4 grass if you don't)
-Candy 3 times to L25 before Youngster Tyler
-L25 for Rival 3 - Speed tie Kadabra with 24-27 neutral and 8-11 plus, outspeed with 28+ neutral and 12+ plus
-Fight Bug Catcher Elijah on the way back to Cerulean
-L26 for Misty
-L28 and Primeape for Rock Tunnel, no need to Candy beforehand or fight Picknicker Caitlin (Meowth girl)

Time losses:
-Grinding some extra EXP
-Fighting Marcos
-Fighting Elijah instead of Caitlin (Rock Tomb miss chance)

Time gains:
-Save a menu before Rival 2 (Candy)
-Higher level for Moon Rocket, Nerd, Rival 3 and Misty
-Save a Candy at Rock Tunnel

Grimer L14 - Scratch x4 is a range with 0-11 neutral. For 26-31 plus, can use Leer, Rock Tomb x2
Grimer L15 - Scratch x4. If 20+ plus, Leer, Scratch x2 is a 96.48% range. For 14-31 neutral and 0-19 plus, can use Leer, Rock Tomb x2
Koffing - Scratch x4 with 14+ Atk neutral; Leer, Scratch x3 with 0-13 Atk neutral; Leer, Rock Tomb x2 with plus 27-31 Atk
Voltorb - Karate Chop x2

Jeff - Karate Chop both

Pidgeotto is guaranteed with Mega Kick with 12+ plus Atk and 27+ neutral and 19+ plus with Brick Break
