- 1. The first is more of a reminder of the tone of the game. Vampires are assholes. Even the very nicest vampires have some degree of inhumanity and selfishness to them. You don't have to play a rampaging greedy asshole if you don't want. You don't even have to be cruel. But you're not exactly going to be a saint. You're going to have to break some morals to survive, let alone get ahead.
- 2. You're welcome to have characters that are Camarilla-, Anarch-, or Independent-aligned, but please no Sabbat. It would just be too difficult to work into a party. If you play a clan typically associated with the Sabbat, you can still play the clan, but not the Sect. I would prefer to not work with Paths of Enlightenment before I've learned the game better, as well.
- 3. The lowest generation I will allow at this time is 11th.
- 4. All backstories must be run by the Storyteller (me) in full before play begins. Furthermore, no telling other players your backstory or showing them your sheet. This ensures that everyone is able to have something to hide, and as such starts on equal footing. You can tell them the character's name, and some details about their personality, but their full backstory must remain hidden.
- 5. I reserve the right to restrict your creation of blood bonds or ghouls if I feel things are getting out of hand.
- 6. Please no custom-made content used in character creation. The book has a ton of flavour text, mythology, and more options than you would use in a dozen characters, so you should be able to find enough to work with without adding anything. If you want/need any supplement books, just ask. I have all of OWoD.
- 7. On diablerie: If you're feeling both lucky AND dickish, I will let you attempt it. However, it's not going to be easy if you decide to try. The consequences for failure will be very dire, to the point of possibly having to make a new character.
- 8. You're welcome to take a look at the bloodlines in the book and play one if you'd like (as long as they're not strictly Sabbat-aligned), but no Nagaraja and no Baali.
