>You barely stop the laugh from breaking past your lips.
"Snowdrop, you can't even see it."
>"Oh... Right. Yeah. That's because I'm blind."
>Gently, she lowers her face into the box, trying to figure out what you got her.
>You bite your lip, and tilt your head back.

"Dad, are you around?"

>You hear banging from upstairs.
>"Hello? Who's there?"
>Letting out a relieved sigh, you call back up.
"It's me, mum. Where are you?"

>You try and figure out what she said, but you have no idea.
>Dropping your school bag, you hop up the stairs, your hooves making hard tik-tak noises on the tiles.
>Daddy said it helped mum know where she was.
>You just like the noise.
"Mum? Where are you?"
>"I DON'T KNOW! EVERYTHING'S DARK!"
>This sigh is one of exasperation.
