  1. # Instacast Cloud is doing nothing for me
  2.
  3. I downloaded Instacast Beta for Mac. I imported my podcasts from iTunes by OPML. I have 24 subscriptions, 42 unplayed episodes. All the episodes downloaded on the Mac, everything is set up there.
  4.
  5. I then purchased Instacast for the iPhone. At the first screen, I created a cloud syncing account, then the logged into that account on the Mac. The iOS version still forced me to subscribe to a podcast before I could get past the first screen, anyway. I picked one at random.

  7. I set cloud syncing so that it would use what was on the Mac and overwrite what was on the iPhone. The Mac said it was uploading, and the iPhone said it was downloading, but when they were both done, I had nothing on my iPhone but that one random subscription I created. I tried logging out and back in to Instacast Cloud on the iPhone, but nothing changed.

  9. I tried using instacast3:///sync/reset on my Mac. After doing that and telling the iPhone to replace its data with data from the cloud, I got a black screen on the iPhone with a "Downloading" countdown graphic. It completed about halfway, then disappeared, leaving me with just a black screen. I let it sit like that for five minutes, and nothing changed. I went to the home screen and back into Instacast, and got "Downloading..." again. This time it went about 3/4 of the way, then said "Syncing", then that disappeared, and I had just a black screen again. When I went back in again, I got "Uploading", "Downloading", "Syncing", black screen.

  11. What do I need to do to actually transfer the subscriptions from the Mac?
  12.
  13. Thanks,
  14. Jeff
