June 25 [22:14]   Heritiere takes a deep breathe in between pacing back and forth. Heels clicking on the floor. "I am calm!" She took a deeper breathe. "I'm calming down."
June 25 [22:17]   Ace Defective blinks a bit. "You should drink some tea or somethin."
June 25 [22:19]   Heritiere tea sounded lovely. She was going tp get some water boiling for tea. In the mean time she propped herself on a chair. Hands going into her face as she wanted to scream but it was against her better nature. "He makes me so upset sometimes!"
June 25 [22:21]   Ace Defective shakes his head "Hasn't it always been this way? Like even back then. The first thing from the group I remember was you telling Aki to no join us in our first exploration of Tartarus. Couldn't tell if that was just you being concerned for his condition or you wanting us to learn on our own."
June 25 [22:27]   Heritiere twirled a strand of the crimson hair. "Both. He pushes himself too hard, and I know he's capable. He's honestly one of the best fighters I know. But, had he gone with you neither you, yukari or minato would have learned how to properly handle yourselves. It would have been too easy and you wouldn't understand the seriousness of what you were fighting." She was still upset a bit, but at least she was calmer and not screaming. It wasn't like her to raise her voice and she only ever did it really with Sanada. "Iori-kun. No, I can't call you that any more, you're much older." She laughed. "He's the only one who really knows how to get under my skin. I'm not sure if that's a blessing or a curse at times." Obviously she cared about him, and always will. Feelings? She had them for him, but both of them were terrible at trying to talk to each other. Business, work, life? That was fine, but the subtle small romantic esque feelings she felt to him. That was hard.
June 25 [22:35]   Ace Defective smiles "It's the sign that you two are so close. I mean, I haven't had much in terms of friends outside of our group and chidori so, you know.....I haven't really had much a best friend outside of....well, you know. Anyways, I think that if nothing else, it was a good thing that you had the three of us go in there and get our asses kicked at first. Especially because of how I was back then, thinking that it was a chance to be a hero and all."
June 25 [22:41]   Heritiere gave him a stare with her eyebrow raising once. "I wouldn't have put you in a really danger. I had faith in you that you would be able to handle it, and you did." She sighed and thankfully the water was going off on the stove so she could make a cup of tea. "We all have our moments of bravada. I thought that Sanada, I and..." She couldn't finish off his name and went to work to pouring the tea. "Point being, we need to learn from the mistakes we make." She smiled once looking into the tea once. "We have been close. I've known him since I was child. He's one of my best friends. It just feels easy to talk to him. Though lately we haven't been as close." She brought a cup for him to set it on the island as well. "He's doing uncover work for me and looking into shadows, like usual. He's always in the field. Where I know he pefers to be. I'll get email reports for him, but up until recently. We haven't seen each other in person in a little over four years now. If not longer." She took a sip of the oolong tea.
June 25 [22:50]   Ace Defective hummed a bit "Why not go out on a field mission together? You know, like in the old days? I mean, you still have your evoker for a reason, right? It's not like you're just holding onto it for old times sake. On the note of mistakes being made......uh, I feel like I'm gonna regret saying this but.........." Oh man, he was feeling the regret already and he didn't even say it yet".....I enrolled in college."
June 25 [22:54]   Heritiere it wasn't a bad idea... she hadn't gone a field mission in some time. Getting back on the front lines might not be such a bad idea. She would propose the idea to him. "I do. I haven't gotten rid of my evoker, maybe you are right." At the information of his news she beamed. "That's wonderful news actually. If you need help studying or even paying for the courses. Don't hesitate to let me know." She could tell that he was doubting himself. "Don't doubt yourself because I never did." She rubbed a finger around the edge of the tea cup. "Do you think that Sanada and I could still have a chance?" An honest question.
June 25 [23:09]   Ace Defective was happy that he didn't get the "I told you so" that he was expecting. "Well, truth be told I'm doing it so I could get a better job one day and help Chidori go to an art school. Though the problem with that is it would be really tough getting her into one considering her past. I mean, for what it's worth she doesn't have much of one which means a whole lot of hassle. But I'm doing it for her anyways. Besides......" He gave one of his infamously goofy grins "I'm kinda doing doing it for myself too. That and I need to be able to afford a better art tablet for Chidori just in case." The tablet he got her completely broke his bank and he nearly missed rent because of it. But seeing her smiling face once she learned how to use it was worth it. Those if he had to put a finger on the hardest thing about it all........it was explaining to her what a "Fursona" was........without referring to Personas. Yeah, that was fun. When she asked about her and Aki, he wanted to burst out laughing, buuuuuuut he's developed a bit more tact. "Heh, I don't know why you and him haven't gone for it. I mean, I know he's terribly awkward when asking the question himself, but you? I'd have thought you would have burst into his place one day and declared that you wished to "court" him or something like that." She did use words like that after all and he doubted it's changed much given the way she writes emails.
