<h1>⊰ history & background</h1>
In a time before his father’s birth, the Orcs of the land were divided up into families, tribes, and clans warring amongst themselves for territory, food, and women. But Rhino’s grandfather, Anung the First waged a Great War that led to the unification of many orc tribes under a singular banner. Peace among these clans was forged, and the Orc Kingdom turned their eyes toward their borders, no longer afraid of what lay at their backs, for they were large enough to discourage rivals of defying them without forming large bands themselves. <br><br>

The Orc Kingdom expanded in the hands of Anung the second; land and population alike. Rhino, Anung the Second’s second son, was raised to be a warrior king alongside his elder brother, Orok; though he found his mind filled with ideas. Ideas that were just as viable for his kingdom’s prosperity as was his skill with a blade. His elder brother was not as imaginative, though he valued Rhino’s ideals after having them explained at length to him. <br><br>

Training both his mind and his body, Rhino quickly became a second General of his father’s armies, earning the title just as much by his skill as by the merit of being the king’s son. It was during a considerably mild skirmish that an errant arrow took his father’s life and Orok was thrust into the kingship; called to sit upon the bones throne as Orok the First. Despite his vivacity in life, Orok was rendered unable to produce heirs. He decreed that his brother was to be crowned Brother King Rhino the First. <br><br>

Now in the third decade of Orok’s rule, Rhino is considered a fearsome and respected leader, both on the battlefield and across the negotiation table. His second wife has produced him a pair of twins, rare for orcs, but an omen his seers have interpreted as a sign of growth unprecedented. <br><br>
