  1. The Devil God has earned a rather special place among the gods. While he's often disliked for him and his fellow devils using shady tactics to tempt mortals into hell, he himself seeks to do one thing: Lock away all evil and torture it for all eternity.
  2.
  3. Spheres of Influence: Belial is associated with Tyranny and Sin first and foremost. As a result, many places consider him a taboo god to look up to. However, some, such as the country of Zerif, respect his zeal in weeding out the guilty, placing Punishment as one of his most important spheres of influence.
  4.
  5. Symbol: Pentagram with his face.
  6.
  7.
  8. Depiction: A red skinned, horned man with hoofed legs that end with molten, crackling rock. He has flaming hair that burns at his scalp, and is often depicted wielding a flaming mace in his right hand, and a contract in the other.
  9.
  10. Month: Belie is his month, and is the last month of summer.
  11.
  12. Rulership of Hell: Belial rules over Hell itself; Hell is described as an inverted mountain, sinking deep into the earth and divided into nine circles. Eight are ruled by his strongest devils, while the ninth and final layer is ruled by Asmodeus himself.
  13.
  14.
  15. Relations
  16.
  17. Murielle: Murielle has an uneasy alliance with the Devil god. While the two are often seen as rivals, they are most known for working alongside Lamashtu in sealing away Rhysvial.
  18.
  19. Rhysvial: Like most gods, Belial absolutely hates Rhysvial. These feelings are returned, as the Dragon God seeks to one day be freed of his prison to bring hell onto Erilen. What makes the gods fear Belial, however, is that he holds the key to the Dragon God's cage, meaning that he could easily unleash Rhysvial's wrath upon the world.
  20.
  21. Amelia: Surprisingly enough, Amelia and Belial get along quite well, and are in fact seen as very close friends. The Devil God is sometimes even depicted playing puzzle games with her, such as chess.

  30. Temples dedicated to Belial are black and generally designed with a diabolical motif. Jagged, spiked spires and red interiors are common, and they are found throughout every major hold of Zerif. The temples are typically nearby major governmental buildings. In places outside of Zerif, he is typically worshiped in secret.
  31.
  32. Old Belian churches were actually originally the church of another faith, which is meant to represent his dominance, with the former gods bowing before his might. Since the end of the 2nd Dynasty however, this has been seen as arrogance on the priest's part; Belial seeks to cleanse the guilty, not conquer some god.

  36. Holy Texts
  37.
  38. The Belian Disciplines: A black Grimoire depicting the Devil God's unholy symbol. This teaches the Belian faith, and what is to be expected of his followers.

  43.
  44. Belian fighters typically carry special pendants to strengthen their miracles from Belial.
  45.
  46. The Wardens of the Church are known for their red and black armour motifs, with helms modeled after a horned devil.

  51. Rituals
  52.
  53. Devil Binding: An advanced ritual that calls upon a devil one seeks to form an infernal contract. This can be for various reasons; be it the devil's aid, something of importance, and so forth. Those that perform these rituals are called Devilbinders, and are capable of commanding small portions of the infernal legion in exchange for both their blood and future service to Hell.
  54.
  55. Various rites: That i am too lazy to elaborate on as of now.
