- REM ⚠️ RUN ALL COMMANDS BELOW AS ADMINISTRATOR ⚠️
- REM Detach the disk from Windows
- REM Run an elevated command prompt (as Administrator), then run “diskpart”. Once in diskpart, issue these commands.
- list disk
- select disk #
- offline disk
- attribute disk clear readonly
- rescan
- REM Create Disk Image from whole drive. Goto D:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox (as Administrator). Select the Disk Number as appears in the DISKPART command or as seen in Computer Management (msc) > Disk Management
- VBoxManage internalcommands createrawvmdk -filename "T:\Disk2.vmdk" -rawdisk "\\.\PhysicalDrive2"
- REM Now attach the disk to VirtualBox and scan with SpinRite
