  1. Rhaiden After the incident with the strange...Being...Rhaiden went back to resting again. He had reverted back to his human form at some point and his body felt sore. The tall man could sleep anywhere, but the aftermath tended to be unsavory. It seemed he had scratched up the ground to try and soften the dirt and it hadn't been enough. His chest and arms felt still and when he finally moved, every joint crackled and popped. A grunted groan escaped him as he turned over onto his back and his mouth felt dry. Rhaiden just wanted to lay there and get his muscles to relax so he could actually try and get up. If only that were the case. He was impatient, hungry, thirsty and just overall unhappy. Coming here had been a mistake. He knew this and yet he followed. What was he going to do HERE? Spy on Aza like some creep? Make up some lie that he HAPPENED to want a change of scenery and came here? He was pretty adamant about not wanting to go with her when the occasion arose. Hell he didn't want her to go on this trip either! Everyone talking about her heart condition and how HE was responsible for her. Aza needed to stay put, not travel all over the place. And if they expected him to be responsible, well, he couldn't travel! So she had to stay! That made sense. His life having been invaded and suddenly...Oh she can go about where she wants. Wait, he had to turn his routine upside down and now she didn't need him? Fine. FINE. Who the hell was he kidding? Rhaiden being here wasn't her fault. He was a grown man and could make his own choices. This wasn't forced, he just changed his mind and somehow made it...Did he or was he lost somewhere? Another groan escaped him and his left hand went to his face. He could be lost somewhere, having no CLUE where he was. Wait, that...being? Said something about a town nearby. Slowly Rhaiden got himself up and brushed himself off. He could feel the earth beneath his feet and knew his boots were long gone. Another aggravation and he growled to himself. Reaching his tattered jacket, he'd find where he had pinned his hat earlier. At least that was still intact. He'd tighten his blindfold before putting his hat on. Tipping his head back, he inhaled and caught the scent of town. Nearby indeed...His stomach grumbled once he picked up the savory food scents and...Did he smell a hint of coffee too? Rhaiden didn't care how he appeared at the moment, but a mess would be right up there. Any time he shifted his clothing was ruined in one way or another. Having spent the night outside and having blanked out travel...He was sure he was filthy too. Oh well...The tall man made his way through the woods, carefully though borderlining rushing. is patience was wearing thin and the draw of the town was getting stronger. Once he got closer, he would pad his jacket down and find his wallet. A sigh of relief followed as he thought about what he was going to get. Aza had helped him sort out the cash he had so he knew what he had picked up. It was enough to buy coffee and food. First it'd be something heavy in french vanilla and hot!

  3. xLoveLettersx After a long night of dinner, and reading a book or two once she had gotten settled in her bed for the night, she worried and wondered if Rhaiden would be alright getting there. She felt bad that she seemed to just invade his space and his home, something she didn't want to do even from the beginning. Then again Dr. Tracy told them both they were good for each other, and she couldn't understand how exactly, but it was growing easier as they got settled into a new routine, but things were completely different since that attack, well that was what Ama seemed to say anyways. A deep breath left her lips as she had woken up the next morning having fallen asleep reading, but her dreams were that of Rhaiden and not what she read. A yawn and a decent stretch, and she was sitting upright with her legs hanging over the side of the bed. Ama would wake feeling Azalea moving around on the bed, and looked at the girl, perhaps she had gotten to old to have as much compassion towards Azalea than when she didn't know that Ama was an angel disguised as a dog, but it couldn't be helped. Azalea was still acting like a child, perhaps it was due to her very sheltered life growing up, all because of her heart condition. Which the doctor said had greatly improved, but also wasn't something that should of been tested to it's limits just as of yet. Ama wanted to get some kind of formal trainning in, it was why she sugguested this place they could go out near the lakes or into the woods and have a full range to do so without unwanted casualties. "Aza, we have to practice today, I think it's best that we start right after breakfast, you've had plenty of time now to digest all of this and we can not wait anymore" she told her seriously. Azalea would sigh a bit and just simply nod her head, she was quite grumpy over this whole issues of hers, and not to mention the amount of times she accidentally hurt Rhaiden, because that other side of him didn't get the hint to stop attacking. She would go into her bathroom and brush her hair and pulling it back on the sides with a beautiful purple butterfly hair clip. A quick brush of her teeth, she would look through her clothes and pull out a white and light purple flowered sundress with a light purple jacket to match. She would toss on a pair of small purple pumps to place on her feet. Finally she made her bed and set the books against the night stand, but one, the "all about Angel's" one she took with her. Pulling out Ama's leash, and clipping it on and grabbing her purse she would head out the door and begin to make her way towards the diner. It wasn't that she didn't need Rhaiden, she just wanted to think, and have a moment to understand and digest everything that happened, she wanted to stay close by in the state, but Ama said that was a ridiculous idea and that they needed more space and that this place was perfect for it. But of course neither of them knew how many supernatural beings were going to be around this place Ama would of caved to her desire to stay in the state range of New York. But it mattered not now, they were here and now apperently Rhaiden was on his way there, she hoped she wouldn't have to go searching for that overly large idiot, who was a pain in the ass and much more grumpier than she was. Then again Ama and Rhaiden didn't seem to get along to well from day one, but she didn't care if he liked her or not. She was only there for the girl, the rest didn't matter to her too much, and perhaps last night she even over scared Finley with the threat of Rhaiden being pissed off. Then again though she also knew a secret about Azalea and his late wife, they were one in the same, though she was different and her own person, she still had the same soul, and not to mention this time she was also an angel who wouldn't die unless she was killed by another supernatural being. Soon though they would arrive at the diner and Azalea would get a booth, but her back was towards the door and Ama sat on the other side of the table as she waited for a waited for a waitress to come over with a menu. Once she arrived Azalea would take the menu with a soft smile "Thank you" she told her softly as she placed it on the table. "Sure, what can I get a drink for you deary?" She asked Azalea with a bright smile "some hot chocolate please?" She asked her and the older woman smiled and nodded "coming right up" she told the young woman before leaving her to her own devices and to look over the menu.

  5. Rhaiden Everything around him was brand new, which made Rhaiden hesitant off and on as he made his way into town. Walls were his friends, trash cans and benches...Not so much. Luckily he stayed pretty much out of the way and quiet as he walked. He knew there were other patrons about him, but his overall appearance was a deterrent. He looked like he was going to eat the first person that made any sort of contact with him. Some people even murmured about the 'scary man'. They could take a flying leap for all Rhaiden cared. Food and coffee would make his attitude better, but til then he was a powder keg with a very short fuse. For a long stretch he didn't have any obstacles, save for when the buildings separated. He suddenly found himself in a gap and nearly fell over. Rushing in a new place, never a good idea. He growled and side stepped back before finding the wall again. This was so stupid! Yet he could ask for help at any time. Nope that wasn't happening either. He could do this on his own. Soon he'd find the wall again and continued his walk. Between his nose and feeling, he managed his way to the diner. Aza and...that mutt had just gone in, which made the bestial man pause. The only familiar scent in this whole damn place! He's found them! Relief cascaded through him for a moment before...Now what? Should he let them know he was there or just go back the way he came? Hiding was something that wasn't going to happen with the big guy. Hell, even now he was probably in plain view through the diner windows. Coffee...food. That's what he needed. Well that, a bath and decent clothes. Leaving a nice amount of hand prints on the glass, he'd find the door and open it. If there was a bell there, he would pause in the doorway. Thankfully the little chime was too short to affect him. He also remembered to duck so not to run into the frame. Too many times in the past that has happened, more than Aza zapping him, so that lesson was well learned. Rhaiden was greeted by the wondrous scents and the strong presence of Aza and Ama. He'd make his way to the booth and somewhat plop in the opposite seat. He'd clear his throat and simply spoke one word. "Hi."

  8. xLoveLettersx Azalea's purple hues danced against the words of the menu before her, she would hum softly as she was attempting to decide what to eat for that mornings breakfast. So many choices, she was always bad with them, and partly why she only ever gave herself two or three options when it came to food. A sigh left her lips as she hung her head a bit and placed her forehead against the table as she was debating if she should do waffles, or pancakes, or eggs, she knew she only ever ate baby bird sized portions so she didn't want it all to go to waste. At least at hime she knew she would of probability had some yogurt and fruit with granola and that would usually hold her til lunch time, which usually was a veggie wrap she ate. She tended to lean towards being mostly a vegetarian, most of which was due to her health and keeping her body as strong as possible, while she only did light workouts, like walking, some light swiming and the occasional bicycling. This of course now with the changes she was going through she wasn't even sure if she should or could keep the same diet or just pig out on Chcoclate chips pancakes or waffles. "Aza, I think you have issues over thinking things" she told her as she looked at the girl, before standing up right more "lesson one, an enemy of any nature, demon angel or other wise is not going to give you a chance at all to decide anything; meaning you need to rely on your instincts, which from past experiences, you pretty much have none" she told her trying to keep the girl distracted as she obviously could smell Rhaiden coming even from inside the building. Then again it wasn't to hard to sense his specific supernatural air about him, but she wouldn't say anything to Aza to see if she was right. Soon the waitress would come over with the hot Chcoclate "here we go my dear, have you decided on what you wanted to eat?" She asked her gently.Just as she asked her she glanced up at the door as the chime went off, but the women's gaze soon returned to Azalea. "No ma'am, if you wouldn't mind giving me a bit more time to decide I'd appericate it, please?" She asked the woman with a sweet smile. "Nah, deary, please take as long as you need, I'm here all day" she told her and went off to other customers being about. Soon enough though she was completely unaware at the fact that Rhaiden was even in the diner with them, at least until the man sat down right across from the two of them, and was kind enough to greet them. Azalea's head shot up, right out of the menu at the sound of that gruffy, but grumpy and somewhat slightly relieved voice of his. "Rhaiden!" She shouted a bit and went all wide eyes and smiling from ear to ear. Then again that delightfully happy tone could easily tell she was happy.[C]
  9. Normally she would jist give head rubs, but she was quite worried about him, and sprung up to her feet to give him the largest hug she possibly could as even while he was sitting he was still so much taller than she was. "Took your ass fucking long enough, didn't I tell you she'd be perfectly fine for a couple of weeks, jeez, it wasn't like she wasn't ever going to come back, and your an idiot for making her worry so!" Ama scolded him first, greetings were to be had later as a reaming now. Azalea would frown though a bit "I told you I'd be back this is only supposed to be a vacation, or better yet, why didn't you come when I first offered?" She asked him, her tone was poutful and sounding worried, but also delighted still. "And you Aza, have absolutely no instincts what so ever...." Ama sighed with disappointment as she flopped down in the chair a bit.As the waitress wondered over and smiled at Axalea and her newst guest "anything I can get you to drink sir?" She asked with a soft politeness.

  11. Rhaiden Where she was the vegetarian type, Rhaiden was the complete opposite. A carnivore through and through, but the occasional salad or fruit didn't hurt anything. In fact she was trying to get him to broaden his dietary horizons. At first he was more eh about it, but now he was putting more effort into it. Meals at home, especially around dinner, had a salad involved. Take out too, depending on where they ordered from. Rhaiden wouldn't admit that Tracy was right about Aza being right for him. She was turning him for the better, despite him wanting to stick to his old habits. Routine was safe for him and something he was more comfortable with. He didn't get bored of it. Since her arrival though, he didn't realize how much he'd been missing, even if it was small. His 'hi' was about as many words he was planning on using until conversation started. It was awkward to just show up the way he did. Rhaiden knew this and now the embarrassment was trying to set in. Coffee, food, good distractions. He didn't need to see the smile in order to know it was there. Well at least she was happy to see him- "Oof!" At the sudden, strong impact, followed by the big hug she could muster. "Heh." Was all he was able to release before Ama spoke. Aza could feel him tense and he didn't return the hug. There wasn't any time before that damn mutt ruined the moment. Yeah, she may be an 'angel' and bigger than anything around here in her 'true form', but she was still a bitch to him. Rhaiden would probably die at her hands one day and today may be it. "Bite me Frank." His attention went to Aza as she started in as well, but not as bad as the pug had. "Because..." He trailed and his left hand trembled a bit. Nope, he wasn't going to get cornered here and become defensive. "I barely made it as is. Took a train most of the trip then the rest of the way ON FOOT." He emphasized that last bit so little miss mini hound would know WHY he took so long. "I couldn't stay home. I tried, but...You've turned everything upside down." He admitted, maybe blamed just a bit. Had his routine remained the same he would have stayed at the cabin. Now he was in a strange place and... "Shit." He said quietly. What he realized wasn't something to be silent about, but going off about it in a public place wasn't a good idea either. Rhaiden would just have to deal with it later. His attention went to the waitress when she came about. "Coffee." His head tipped a bit towards Aza when he spoke again. "Have you ordered yet?" He was going to get a burger and fries!

  14. Really she couldn't help her diet, as too much activity was bad for her, but as long as she kept quite the healthy diet to go with it she was perfectly fine. She never did fluctuate to much in weight gain or loss, so given that she thpught it would be a good idea to get Rhaiden some change up in his diet. Having meat all the time even for him couldn't be entirely good for anyone's health. So she managed to make salads and even fruits that he normally wouldn't eat into something tasty for him. She was quite surprised that he did indeed enjoy eating it, and she was happy that he had at least veen giving it a good go around, he seemed to even be in a tinier bit of a better mood than usual when he did so. While Tracy didn't need to get confirmation from him that she was decent and good for him, the way he reacted about her vacation was pretty clear enough for her.It was time that his routine changed anyone, if he kept going he'd forever just deteriorated into more beast than man, which would of mostly likely been the outcome if she hadn't intervened when she did. Azalea was just so happy he was alright and didn't seem like he had hurt anyone either, while also not caring that it was awkward, probably more so in his mind than hers that he showed up. She was just happy he was safe and sound, but Ama seemed more grumpier than usual lately herself; so when she spoke off at Rhaiden like that, her smile drifted right into a frown at the dog with narrowed eyes. As she felt Rhaiden tense a bit she would give him another squeeze to just reassure him, before she gently let go, and went and sat back down in her seat gently. Ama was still the girl's guardian, she still didn't think she was safe enough around him until she had gotten some training in at least.Of course she wanted to ruin a moment and after all she was a famle dog at least visually for now. "I would, but you'd probably taste funny" Ama shot back with a slight scoff. "Ama, you didn't have to be that mean, what's gotten into you as of late?" She asked her softly. Yeah she started in as well, but she was more concnered about him with her tone. So when he spoke she tilted her head back towards him,her eyes drifted downwards a bit. Her cheeks flushed rosy red "...I...didn't mean to...Tracy called....and I got worried....that you may not of been alright..." She spoke softly as she started to fiddle with her fingers a bit. She was started to stress a bit herself, maybe this wasn't the best trip Ama still riding her as of late about something that just feels like got dumped into her lap. A sigh left her lips gently "I'm sorry...I just seem to be caughing every one issues lately..." She told him softly, it was probably the most sad she had ever seemed since they met. But that word came from him "Rhaiden....that's such a naughty word" she spoke holding a poutful tone and a slightly disappointed face. "Besides, we should get you rest and cleaned up...i have a nice room atthe Rosedale Inn and a big fluffy bed, that even you would enjoy!" She told him with a soft giggle. Though she never stayed to sad for long. But the waitress coming up she would nod "one coffee, have you decided yet my dear?" The waitress asked Aza. The girl shook her head at the both of them "No I haven't ordered yet....to many choices...and if you don't mind please add French Vanilla creamer to that?" She asked with a soft smile. "Sure, take all the time you need, I'll be right back with your coffee" she chuckled and stepped away to get Rhaiden his coffee. Azalea's eyes drifted back to the menu in hand "child just choose something" Ama told her frankly as she started bitting aginst her bottom lip.

  16. Rhaiden Tarts had been the trickery to get him to try different fruits. The salad had taken a tad bit longer and he preferred it without the dressing. Cheese and croutons were all that was needed. Today though, the only salad he’d be having was what came on the burger. He would wait to place his order when Aza was ready to give hers, which at this rate may be a while. Patience was another thing he was working on and it was difficult at times. Still, he was going to win that battle this go around. Maybe. Rhaiden felt the reassuring squeeze, but it didn’t do much to quell his dislike of the dog. Soon shifting his feet, he’d feel the sudden chill of the cold floor. He’d shiver and try to put them back where they were. He was really missing his boots right now. The retort from the pug got a snort out of him before his middle finger came up. Just off to the side, but it was directed to Ama. Rhaiden could only imagine what he looked like right now, regardless of her comeback. “I do well on my own.” He reminded her. ‘Well’ meaning keeping himself trapped in his cabin til it was safe to come out. The tall man had his tricks when the beast came out. “Was she pissed?” It was a dumb question, but hey sometimes Tracy gave him some slack. She was such a worrying hen when it came to the both of them. Him way before Aza came along. He dodged the doctor like a plague, but she had her ways of coming around to check on him. It was almost to a point where she could walk the path blindfolded herself! His brows furrowed some when she spoke of the issues. He’d shake his head and reach across the counter to place a hand over hers. “You’re fine Aza. Ama’s always a sour puss.” Attempted joke possibly, since both he and the dog had their brand of grumpiness. He’s learned from the beginning to hide his a bit more around Aza so she wouldn’t feel bad and run off. She had to stay safe after all and chasing her away was just as bad as letting her stay. She had her abilities of course, that electric field being able to knock him on his ass. What tended to be out there though, was much more dangerous than he could ever be. Rhaiden might have been dead if it weren’t for her. Then again, she was the cause he got hurt in the first place. Blame was definitely there, but he never brought it up. An amused smile crossed his face when she called him out on that word. “Such a child.” He commented in a teasing way, then sighed. “I…was in a rush to get out of there. I didn’t think of grabbing the herbs. I’ve got some sedatives, but not enough.” He was so ill prepared for this! “I don’t think I can control it without them.” He hung his head a moment and gently shook it before ‘looking’ back up at her. Him coming here meant she’d have to take care of him again. Some vacation… “What choices do you have?” Perhaps he could help her in choosing a meal at least.

  19. Of courde it took a few tries to get the right way for him to want to try fruits, but baking them in tarts was so perfect and he seemed to bright up to, of course Ama did finally tell her that the reason people get so happy with her food it was derived from an ablity she held. That of course made her feel like she may have been doing something wrong, but she didn't really want to deal with it. She had been avoiding Ama on the whole 'angle' subject, it was taking time to accept this, but Ama knew that wasn't really a luxury they had. Ugh! Choices why so many of them! It would probably be her forever down fall, because it all looked as if it woukd taste so good to eat. Aza though noticed the shiver "Rhaiden? Is something wrong?" She asked him gently, having not really been paying attention to the fact he flipped Ama the bird. "Yeah real mature Rhaiden" Ama scoffed back at him, such an idiot, she thought to herself as she shook her head. Azalea would grow a serious face at Rhaiden "Really? Then do please tell me how well you think you'll do when we go home and you have to do the entire cleaning and chores for an entire week on your own then?" She told him as her lips pursed a bit. Of course she knew if that happened the cabin would nearly be back in the state she arrived with it in it. "Amd you have to cook and make treats as well too" she told him with a soft giggle. "Hmm no I don't really think so, more just disappointed, and extremely tired, what did you do to thw poor woman?" Aza playfully scolded as she knew that the woman could be over worrying a bit much for health."she just told me to call when you found me" she told her "but, I'll wait for her to get some rest first as you rest to call...she's much more calmer that way" she told him with a happy muse to her tone.Tracy would bend over backwards for them both, plus she was the only doctor in the whole city that knew about their, special bits, Rhaiden being beastly man, and Aza an angel, talk about beauty and the beast. But Aza couldn't help the constant nagging feeling that none of this bad stuff would happen if it wasn't because of her, just as she was feeling down a warm and very large hand covered hers. She would blush lightly and then giggle a bit at Rhaiden's off colored joke, but it was so true. "Yeah just gang up on an old angel will you two," she grumbled a bit as she shook her head a bit. "Sorry Ama, but you know he's right" she giggled a bit more and teased her just earning a head shake from Ama. Of course she knew it was her fault, always from the beginning when Rhaiden stopped those men, and for that she did want to help him how ever she could. Instantly though her cheeks flushed darkly at his amused smile and words before pouting and narrowing her eyes a bit a bit , face still bright red. "I-I'm n-not a-a c-child" she began as she hide her face behind the menu "show you how much of a child I am when you don't get anymore home made chinese doughts with chocolate drizzle" she told him in a poutful tone. But she soon became more concerned that he forgot what he needed, and Azalea was thinking a moment "hmmm....well I think I know somwone who can go and get them and be back before morning, Ama" she said with a soft smile and pleading look at her. Ama just tilted her head at Azalea as if she had grown three herself "I promise to bake you those yummy doggy treats you love so much, and tones of belly rubs and scratches and a nice hot bath~" she sang a bit and in an excited tone. "....better be hazelnut treats..." She grumbled, and hopping down "anything happens to her I'll eat you Rhaiden, dâmn fucking idiot..." She muttered the last bit to herself as she hopped down the seat and was walking mumbling curses from her mouth as she disappeared right out the door. Of course she was happy he was here and though she even wanted him to come along from the start, she never viewed caring for him being a chore or something she hated, in fact she enjoyed it. "Hmm well there is lasagna, chicken and fry salad, an all American cheeseburger with the works and fries, crispy chicken wraps with the works and fries...fresh fruit salad, applesauce, pies, and cakes, vareious flavors.." She told Rhaiden as she looked up at him with a happy smile.
  20.
  21. Rhaiden Aza noticing the shiver caused a whole new wave of embarrassment. His trademark lowering of the hat and raising of the scarf came into play, although he tried to catch himself. "Nothing." He said in a quick mumble. Nothing was wrong, he was just being a weakling to the chill. As a beast he could walk around on all fours without a single thought. Maybe, depending on how chilly or hot it was, he'd react to the temperature. As himself though, cold was something he didn't care for one bit. His feet were the most sensitive and right now he was trying to ignore it. Soon the bottoms of them would be warm again and he'd just...Worry about the top. No biggy. Oh she wanted mature? Well, Ama would get a bit of a blep too! The reaction would subside as he took on a more serious look again. Aza was calling him out on what all she did to make the cabin livable again. Rhaiden he couldn't clean anything up, not without making another mess. It was one of the reasons why it was the way it was when she first arrived. He couldn't see, couldn't put things in their right places. Then there was the depression and that overall 'whats the point?'. He lived alone, who was he going to impress? Cooking would just overall burn the place down, which was why he never touched the stove. "It wouldn't happen." He admitted. Rhaiden shook his head lightly again then gave a shit-eating grin. "Guess it's my rugged charm.Tends to have that affect on people." He knew he was exhausting to keep track of. Even the most determined needed a break. "Yeahhh let's wait til she's in a better mood." So far everything was going fine, give or take some minor annoyances. He didn't need it ruined by getting yelled at or scolded further. That was currently Ama's job and he didn't take the opinions of dogs to heart. His hand would remain on hers a bit longer, until the threat of no more donuts came to pass. Instead of removing his hand though, the other came across the table and clasped over hers. Mock dread crossed his face as he spoke. "Oh nooo, please don't do that. You're not a child." Oh yes he was toying with fire right there. If only he could have seen Ama's face when Aza volunteered her to go get what he needed. He should be thankful, but truly, he really didn't like the angel. Amazing how the girl could sway both 'beasts' with the promise of food and affection. He'd release Aza's hands and wave one of his own at the threat. "Yeah yeah. That's nothing new." Besides his own doing, Rhaiden wasn't going to let anything happen to her. So far his beast was behaving and he hoped it remained that way. He might still take the sedatives later, just in case. Boy, if only Aza could hear the curses coming out of that dog! He had to keep from chuckling. Now the angel had his full attention as she was listing off the different options. "Whoa slow down." He pauses with that amused smile again. "I know I'll be getting the burger and fries. We're trying to figure out what YOU'RE getting." He knew she ate very lightly. "Could choose one of the salads or wraps? Unless you're feeling adventurous." He'd look up as the waitress came with his coffee. He'd nod his thanks and take a sip from it. Hot, a little too sharp, but he'd live with it.

  24. xLoveLettersx She couldn't quite understand why Rhaiden managed to become so emberassed so easily all the time. Really to her there was nothing that wrong with him or most of the situations that he found himself in. Except the day that she accidently walked in on him...in the bathroom of all places, the door was ajar so she didn't think he was there. Talk about a cherry red tomatoes face that day for the both of them. "As long as your sure" she told him gently in response to his mumbling, of course she knew he wasn't trying to bother her with it. Whatever it might be. "You two are so just....hard and stale crunchy snicker doodles!" She told Ama and Rhaiden, which got her a tilt of Ama's head. Azalea could never bring herself to use curse words, and instead tended to use food items as replacements "well that's a new one.." Ama muttered a bit, but of course after calling out Rhaiden on the horrible non-cleaning and cooking job before she started helping and living there as well."So then be nice" she told him with a soft giggle, before shaking her head a bit at his grin. It was charming in it's own right "Well, I wouldn't call it charming all the time, rugged yes" she teased a bit and giggled more knowing how much of a handful he could be. Then again the girl seemed to have the patience of a saint when it came to dealing with Rhaiden and his grumpiness. "Awww don't you wanna hear what she has to say?" She teased him more, perhaps this was one way she dealt with his implusivness, and it was quite endearing to see his reactions. Ama really hadn't cared much if he took her scolding or words to heart or not, her main concern was that for Azalea and keeping her safe. Aza would giggle a blush a bit at his fained fake expression, just as his other hand also clasped around hers, engulfing it more as she knew it was something that tended to happen when she threatened no more doughnuts."Somehow I don't believe that" she teased him back and giggled a bit more, but smiled warmly at him, before she felt the cooler air swarm over her hands. She hadn't really realized that his were so warm, before, she did need to learn to pay more attention to things, but then again she was quite naive when it came to life things. "It'll be new the way I do though!" Ama scolded before she finally left the two alone, unable to believe that the girl could get anyone to do anything she wanted or needed with affection and food. Aza was glad though some days thst she couldn't always hear everything that went out of Ama's mouth, but soon as she left her mind went back to food and listing things off, at least until Rhaiden's words stopped her, she would tilt her head a bit up at him. Her face flushed a deep crimsin red, she was doing it again, the rambling off the list, possible a bad, but adorable habit of hers she got excited over food and baked goods."Well, that's because your always on a meat kick, but I have no idea what I want.." She muttered a bit with a soft sigh. "I don't know, salad or wraps would be lovely, but we are on vacation right? So why not be adventurous?" She asked him with a soft giggle. "I think I may do a lasagna, and a light house salad on the side, maybe some fries to?" She asked as if to get his approval. She indeed had been eating a bit more since she 'woke up' that day, but still in a baby birdish manners.

  26. Rhaiden With being picked on in his younger years, Rhaiden should have had a tougher hide. Well, he didn’t. He still felt like that awkward kid when poked fun of, even if it was playful teasing. Some he handled well enough, others might get a snappy backlash or silence before he’d walk away. Even without his bestial side, Rhaiden was a force not to be pushed too far. He never did tell Aza all about his past, for he didn’t see certain things as important. The poor angel was going to be learning some things on the fly. Like how he didn’t shut doors all the way. Being use to an empty cabin, some habits were hard to break. He had forgotten she was there and was too busy looking for the knobs on the shower. In nothing but a blindfold and his ‘birthday suit’ he was sliding his hand to turn the water on when Aza came in. Rhaiden nearly took out the shower curtain as he jumped into the tub so fast. By some grace of God he didn’t trip over the edge and break the wall or his face. Luckily no words were exchanged besides him hearing a squeak and Aza’s feet quickly carrying her away. He hid in the bathroom for quite some time, but knew he couldn’t stay in there forever. Rhaiden would try though! He didn’t know what was worse, that moment or the awkwardness afterwards. As long as he was sure? His bare toes curled some under the table and relaxed. “I am.” Came the lie. He’d just have to buck up and deal with the cold for now. The man tilts his head when she compared them to stale food. Yup, child right there. He wouldn’t say it aloud this time, but he was sure she knew he was thinking it. He’d place a hand to his chest as Aza mentioned his lack of charm there. “That hurt.” Further faking it. However, when she suggested hearing what Tracy had to say, he quickly shook his head with an even quicker- “NO!” following along with it. “I’ll never hear the end of it. Neither will you.” Because he’d be complaining about getting his head bitten off. He was a grown man, much older than BOTH women, judging by years, not appearance, and yet reprimanded for his choices and lifestyle. He could be impulsive on occasion! “We can talk to her later…Like after she’s had her coffee.” And maybe just leave her a message….So calling when she was working sounded like a plan too. Rhaiden really didn’t feel like getting yelled at, not in a new town and ill prepared to keep himself at bay. He still wasn’t impressed with Ama’s words, even as she promised to do something new to him. Once she was gone, he’d sigh and rub the back of his head. “I doubt I’ll ever like that…mutt.” He couldn’t call her a woman and ‘angel’ would be comparing her to Aza. “You know I can’t help that.” A finger came to the side of his lip and lifted it a bit to show a fang. Not that the action was really needed. “I’ll tackle one of those salads later.” Rhaiden soon nodded when she suggested the more ‘adventurous’ route. “Go for it.” Whatever she didn’t finish was leftovers later or maybe he’d sneak a couple bites. He’d soon take another sip of his coffee before reaching out and looking for the sugar. “Still too sharp.” He mutters and placed his hand on the salt container.

  28. xLoveLettersx Azalea could just tell that he was a big softy even without really knowing much about his past, plus all his previous actions of keeping her safe said more than any words could. So she often assured her teasing wasn't ever being mean, but then again she often prfered to be kind and gentle with him, it was those moments, that she would see a bit more of that infact lovely ruggedly handsome charm of his. But that day, well she sure got an eye full of him in that birthday suit of his, some point she just wanted to hide from him just as much as he seemed to want to hide from her. It took about two weeks for her to be able to just start looking at him again, perhaps she could go blind too? But that thought was silly, they would both be in trouble for if she had, she wasn't even sure if they should talk about whst happened or not, that was something that still lingered a bit between them. But she also learned a lesson, to just call for Rhaiden when she didn't know where he was, to avoid seeing his full bare form. She wondered if there was a way to unforget that, but it wasn't that he didn't look decent! Ah! What was she thinking!? It was overly complicated, and just the whole thing made her flustered, so glad for the fact that he couldn't see how red her face got half the time. A sigh left her lips as she heard his reply and just humming a bit as it was usually her way of telling him, he wasn't being honest with her, but said nothing more about it. Of course she knew it was childish, but it was still true, they werw acting like stale food, gross! But she just gave a slight pout, knowing he'd easily feel it, even though his vision wasn't useable, or well it was, but that tended to get dangerous around everyone that couldn't keep themselves safe. A giggle left her lips as she smiled at him and his faking reactions "hey I only said sometimes, not all the time you know" she replied smiling more, but then giggled at his quickest no ever at calling Tracy "wait! How will I never hear the end of it, if I recall I actually didn't do anything wrong this time Mr, that means your on your own if she want to talk to you when we do" she jested, but of course she'd never really leave him out to dry that. Even Aza thought she went way overboard with things at times. "I'm sure your right, and it's already getting late over there.." She told him softly, as she just wanted to hang her head a bit, as she knew she was worrying everyone, her own self included, but there was so much. But once he spoke about Ama, after she left and a soft smile crossed her face "...I think it's really my fault....I guess I'm just not moving fast enough...with it all, she can be mean and grumpy in her own way, but I'm sure as I get things down she'll be better afterwards I'm sure... And just call her by her name" she told him with a bit of a disappointment tone, and sadness seemed to surface a bit again. But then again Rhaiden made her giggle a bit "aren't you just the silly one tonight, of course I know. How could I forget? Oh no maybe I also forgot how make those yummy doughnuts too" she joked a bit before she smiled finally having decided what to go with "glad you think so, but I'm sure in your favor to, but I do want a little taste of yoyr too!" She giggled a bit more. Noticing he was reaching for the salt her eyes went a bit wide "no, not that one" she told him gently. "I don't think you want to ad salt to the list of ruining your coffee" she told him as she gently took his hand and placed it on the sugar container, it was found like a cylinder."Feel the differance, that one's the sugar" she told him as she gently removed her soft hand from his, blushing slightly as she was always trying to help him learn the differences between things then that way he knew what to feel for. Soon the waitress came back over "alright are you two ready to order then?" She asked them with a light smile, and Azalea nodded her head a bit "Yes, please, I'd like to have the lasagna, house side salad, and some fries on the side please?" She asked her gently. And the woman nodded "Alright, go that and for you sir?" She asked waiting for his order, once having it she would let them know she'd be back with it shortly.

  30. xLoveLettersx The evening still seemed to be quite lovely, and cool air was starting to set in, so Azalea made sure to wear a nice light jacket; but she felt bad that Rhaiden seemed to be extra chilly, she couldn't understand why it was that he refused to just wear the robe outside of the room. She wondered if it was because she had told him the small fact over it being pink? well he knew better than to ask her what color it was, as she wasn't one to lie to him, or anyone for that matter of fact. A cool breeze swept through her red locks, as the orangish tint to them seemed to catch the last remaining bit of sunlight seeming to make it look that much more orange, as her purple hues shifted over as she was looking at a small map and the store font signs as they walked along the sidewalk. In her other hand she had taken Rhaiden's to lead him gently to where it was that they were headed, since he really needed new clothes and shoes. She was grateful that Evan gave her quite the chuck of change to have for the vacation she had decided to take, as now it seemed like more that she needed it. Thankfully Ama also returned that morning, so she was walking on the other-side of Azalea, having given Azalea the herbs that Rhaiden would need to keep that beast under-control. While Ama and Azalea were safe from it for the most part, they had to think about the others around them and due diligence to make sure no one else got hurt, or Rhaiden didn't get hurt. Ama had some interesting news for Azalea and Rhaiden to hear, but she was debating still if she should even tell either of them at all, but she took so long as she had to sneak to do some research of her own in the heaven's records. Something having caught her attention about the two of them, and had an inkling about it, but wanted to make sure."Ah, there it is the, Threadonny; This way Rhaiden" Azalea said softly to him as she gently lead him to the front door and gently opening it for the three of them and she gently relaxed as there did seem to be some clothes that just may fit him. With his height and such it could be an issue to find decent clothes for him, but by this point she already knew what his exact measurements were since she took them herself. Since back at home, he always refused to go to the store with her so that they could do it; but finally convinced him to allow her to at least do it so that she could get him extra sets of clothes to wear for after his changes occurred. Plus, looking at him nude wasn't exactly the most lady like thing to do, then again half the time he did spend it trying to attack her, which was slightly starting to get old with how much he ended up hurting himself.
  31.
  32. Rhaiden Beggars shouldn't be choosers, but pink was something he didn't wear. Rhaiden would rather freeze than put on that plush warm robe, all due to the color of it. Even the pants he wore he would do without...If he wasn't one to keep himself decent. After questioning the robe Aza suggested, he found out the pants he had on were black with yellow rubber duckies on it. Too childish in his opinion, but those he kept on. The bestial man slept rather soundly the night before and well into the day. His snoring was something of legend and it was a wonder Aza didn't smother him. He was pretty sure Ama was up to the task had she been there earlier. Once he finally woke, it looked like they had enough time to go shopping. Rhaiden's usual reluctance wasn't as strong this time, seeing as his options were limited. So, in nothing more than pj bottoms and his ever faithful hat and blindfold, he was guided to the shop. His bare feet were chilled against the concrete and he tried to ignore it. The herbs Ama brought back was keeping the beast asleep for now. Just a pinch was enough to barely feel the presence beneath his skin. it was almost as if he was a regular human for once. His senses remained heighten though, which wasn't a problem in his case. And although he didn't like Aza's guardian, he did thank the mutt for her troubles. He, along with the angel in training, were oblivious to the news she was preparing to tell them. For now it was getting his tall ass dressed properly and MAYBE getting convinced for at least a trim. He was beginning to wonder how far this place was until he heard her say they had arrived. He nearly followed until he remembered to duck. Unlike the zappy zaps he suffered when going after Aza, he learned that frames weren't meant for tall people like him. Enough slaps to the face could teach that. Of course he was human while being taught this. The beast seemed to drop him a few pegs, but even it would learn too. Once inside the store, he'd stop and stand in place. It felt crowded in there to him and Rhaiden didn't want to cause a mess.
  33.
  34. xLoveLettersx Azalea tried hard to get Rhaiden into that robe so he wouldn't get cold, or sick, but it seemed to fail no matter how much she wanted him to wear it, she finally gave up of course. "Look there Aza, we've found someone much more stubborn than even you are" Ama had chuckled out as she had also cracked up laughing at Rhaiden's options for pants. "Ama, be nice, I think the duckies on them look cute" she told her with a bit of a frown after she had gotten back, from the little errand she ran fir Aza. Of course Ama reminded her of her promise and Aza would shake her head a bit "I haven't forgotten" she told her with a sigh. But surprisingly Azalea didn't mind his snoring, after all she's grown used to it, plus it could always be heard from his room whether she was finishing up the last few tasks she had set to do that night, or just even hopping into bed, it was always heard. At first she it was hard to get used to, but she's come to enjoy it, even while her first night or two here she had found it difficult to sleep without it. Of course Ama would love to smother that, horrid noise; but for Aza's sake she resisted the urge, it was clear the girl had grown attached to the beasty, man. As they walked Azalea would hum happily as she was quite excited, the very first time he's actually gone shopping with her and she couldn't quite contain the joy from it. It seemed to be just wafting off of her, she was really hoping that she could manage to get him to sit down long enough to also get a trim. He really needed it, and a good washing to boot. Ama though was trying to figure out the best way to drop the news she learned, but then again, Azalea hadn't been doing very well with all of the news she already had to deal with. But once they reached the store and they entered in she would smile happily at so many colors of clothes "Okay I think at least five outfits for you, just to be safe...so Rhaiden, what is your favorite color anyways?" She asked him as she smiled up at him, of course she took notice that he seemed to stop right where he entered. She would gently take his hand and guide him away from the door. Gently around to the men's section, and away from anything that he could accidently knock over, but she was happy, and it seemed to radiate off of her. There she went again completely unaware of how much she changes the atmosphere around her, or that she's even doing it, Ama began to feel a bit hopeless in this all. "Don't forget Aza, tonight's your first night of training and I don't want to hear any rebutles to it either" Ama told her firmly and Azalea sighed a bit "I will.." She muttered a bit of a pout at Ama, but now wasn't the time to argue about it."Do you want long or short sleeves? Or a mixture of both?" Azalea asked Rhaiden as she gently let go of his hand s she began seaeching for items at least in his size.
  35.
  36. Rhaiden Ama and him would always continue to butt heads no matter what. Rhaiden had an eternity unless something befell him that he couldn't recover from. One thing they seemed to agree on though, was Aza's safety. He was always on board with that since the beginning. Pushing for the girl to go elsewhere instead of sleeping in the lion's den. And yet, everyone saw him as the prime candidate to take care of her...Well, more like she taking care of HIM at this rate. Going from a recluse to somewhat more social. He still didn't trust himself out in the open like this, as a man or beast. Her worries about him getting sick held no grounds. He was rarely ever ill and couldn't remember the last time he was. As for the cold though, that was a more valid point...Which he still denied. At the mention of the duckies and the dog's laughter at his expense...His hat was tipped down a bit and he scratched at the fabric as if he could remove the yellow menaces that way. Too much though and he'd tear them up. So he'd just have to deal with it until he got new clothes. Her vibes rolled off her like waves and he could feel the happiness she was radiating. It...really meant that much to her? He couldn't see how it would besides her being helpful. Aza was always that way though, so...Yeah it did make sense. From where he stood he'd answer her. "Nothing bright." So cool colors, obviously grays and simply drab...He stood out enough and didn't need to look like a neon sign to point him out further. Then again, they could buy him bright happy colors and he wouldn't notice the difference. Not unless it was pointed out. Aza had a hard time lying though, so she'd be the first one to tell him. Feeling her hand again, he would resist a bit before following her and stopping again. He was so still, as if breathing would knock something over. When he did move, it'd be a hair or so, just enough to 'look' towards Ama. Maybe she should be sent on another errand or something...But...Whatever training Aza needed was important, right? He wouldn't say anything about it, instead he'd speak to Aza again. "Mix." He did prefer to be warm and since winter would follow fall... "More the long sleeved ones." He pauses. "Please."
  37.
  38. xLoveLettersx It seemed to be the only common thread that Ama, the guardian angel, and the beasty man had in common, Aza, that single thread seemed to tie even other people together as well. Though Ama did find it halierous the day that Rhaiden met Lavi and Evan from the bakery, since they'd been asking her where she had been staying. She some how managed to get them to wait until she was settled, to bring Rhaiden along to introduce him to her other friends. That day Evan nearly blew a gasket, but Azalea still managed to calm the man down, and after a bit of time spent with watching the two of them bake was more then enough to assure him that Aza would be safe enough with the man. Often times though after work Aza would simply find Rhaiden there, to make sure she was safe going home, and on the nights she'd stay later for new ideas; she would fix him coffee and let him sit with her.Ama found that this was indeed good for Azalea, and maybe the beasty man; so maybe that doctor Tracy wasn't a completely tool after all and had some insight to these two the rest of them didn't. He kept her safe, and she would help him in everyday menial things, and then some, she wanted to start a lovely garden for Rhaiden to do during the day once spring time came back around again, but hadn't voiced it to him as of yet. She would frown at Ama's constant teasing of Rhaiden, and of course she was still worried about Rhaiden getting cold and sick, but she left it be as he was so determined to walk barefoot all the way to the store. Once they were settled in the warm air she would start to glance around as her mood seemed to brighten more, she couldn't help it really was the first time that he seemed to be wanting to go shopping so she would do everything she could to make it the best experience for him possible."Okay, nothing bright promise!" She told him with a happy giggle as she picked up a lovely dark navy blue long sleeved shirt that felt soft and warm and two more like it, in black and grey. "Sure a mix seems nice, so I'll get you three long and two short, and I take it you prefer jeans?" She asked softly as she smiled and hummed as she kept looking around. "Or do you prefer cargo type?" She asked him sweetly as she grabbed a deep green teeshirt, and a deep marron one as well thar she though he'd look decent in. "You're welcome of course; so I picked up dark green, navy blue, black, grey and dark marron red" she told him as she gently brought them over to him. "Plus they are really soft and comfortable and you won't get irritated by these" she told him softly as she brought a few soft sleeves to him. She was taking a deep thought of what would make him feel most comfortable, she did really care and want to make quite happy with whatever they got for him.Ama would snort "I think he's beyond the ablity to make anything decent out of him" she scoffed out, and Azalea frowned "Ama, come on now, that isn't nice, besides I think that he's very handsome, and can nearly make anything look lovely" she told her firmly, before her cheeks flushed darkly at realizing she just actually said that out loud. She was so happy Rhaiden couldn't ever see her face, espiecally in emberassinf situations.
  39.
  40. Rhaiden He thought it was a terrible idea, her introducing him to her coworkers. But alas he didn't win that battle. She managed to drag him out of the cabin with much reassurance until he met Evan. It was a terrible idea, he voiced that again when he tried to leave and was stopped. Her calming presence was the only thing that stopped him from bolting back home and locking the door. Again he wasn't safe or her and the others knew it. Instead he chanced it and stayed put. The whole baking aspect was new to him and it was...rather fun. The scents for sure were wonderful as were the little samples he managed to sneak. Her promise of nothing bright got a nod from him and he'd just hang back and let her choose. Her humming was always a pleasant sound, but he was also listening to his surroundings. New places needed their observations, in case he returned on his own. "Whatever you think works." Was his answer to the pants thing. He always wore cloth and hadn't tried jeans on before. As she listed off the colors, he'd nod in approval. "Sounds good." His hand came up to test the material. Rhaiden trusted Aza's judgement. "Thank you." He said regardless of the welcome and then heard the snort. That alone didn't need words to follow as he knew Ama was going to make a comment. There it came shortly after and he growled some. The sound abruptly stopped when he heard Aza's comment. The tall man coughed some and rubbed the back of his neck. "Thanks?" At least he didn't lower his hat this time. "Maybe I should try these on." So not a different hiding tactic.
  41.
  42. xLoveLettersx She knew it maybe rough at the start, but knew that Lavi and Evan were good hearted people, and cared very much about her; but she wanted to know the newest part of her life. But she wasn't expecting that reaction, but she was greatful things soon calmed down and they set to work. Of course Ama knew he was trying to sneak samples, but she let ir slide as it was his very first time baking; but they both left covered in flour that day. She was happily kept looking around as he seemed to approve of her promise while she continued to hum "Well Jeans can be a bit stiff when you wear them, so let's go with cargo type materials" she thought out loud as she wanted him to be at his best. She grabbed two black, and grey, with blue and even a dark red colored pair. And a pair of sweats, and even a pj set that looled more his speed instead of duckies. They had little meats on them, and she smiled brightly, as the material of the clothes would be soft and gentle to the touch, and stretchy a Bit to breath. Unlike Rhaiden, Azalea was so immersed into their first shopping trip that she hadn't noticed anything around her going on,as someone came in and seemed to be stalking the girl. "As long as your happy with them" she mused happily, of course Ama was on guard and ignored Rhaiden's growls at her, as something else caught her attention. After Azalea said that he looked handsome she wanted to crawl into a hole and hide quite deeply in it and never come out. Her cheeks were very flushed "I-I me-mean...I-I um-um..." She was so flustered her cheeks kept growing warmer and refer. But soon with the suggestion of trying them on she nodded "y-yes...th-that wou-would be-be w-wise" she told him as she gently took his hand in hers and softly led him to the the largest changing room they had. She would gently place them on the bench "here are the clothes, and I'll be right outside if you need anything" she told him gently as she softly let go of his hand and stepped out so that he Could change. Waiting til the door was such Ama would look at Azalea "You realize you have a demon warching you?" Ana asked as she kept an eye the male, but didn't stop him, yet wanted to use as this as a learning curve. "Don't be silly Ama we are miles away from things like that" she assured her with a gentle sigh. "I think your over dramatic with it" she told Ama gently, but some firmness tone as she waited for Rhaiden to come back from changing.
  43.
  44. Rhaiden Of all the memories to forget, there were two. One, being the death of his wife, the other...Murdering a young man. As much as he could try and convince himself it wasn't his fault...It was. Rhaiden had over-reacted to the news about Aza and the stranger had been in the wrong place and time. He was being a concerned citizen when Rhaiden stopped his blind run out of town and he thanked him with an attack. They had tried to stop him, but his racing heart, confusion and memories wouldn't allow such action. Any rational mind would have known the man wasn't going to just roll over and take the mauling. Joining the latter, would be pain. The stranger had powers, ones of which pertained to fire. Rhaiden could heal, but he now had new scars upon his face and some down his neck. His clothing had been singed before the flame could be put out and his blindfold...That had pretty much been destroyed. A new one was found to replace it and once more his silver gaze was hidden. After the incident, the time passed with sleep and daze. He was quiet, they both were...Even Ama didn't comment much. He didn't remember coming back to the motel room, but chalked it up to the angel having something to do with it. Currently, he was in the bathroom and had locked the door. How long he'd been in there, he didn't care. The light was off and he had done something stupid. The blindfold was removed, but all he saw was darkness. Looking himself in the mirror, he could barely see the outline of his form and the silvery glint when his eyes moved. It was watching too, he knew it was...Waiting...It was one of the reasons he locked the door, just so no one would let the light in. His hand traced over the new scars and he sighed before turning the water on and splashing his face with it. Rhaiden thought he could live in here, really...Or maybe some deep, dark cave like the monster he is. Murdered...So careful, such a shut in and keeping away from the progressing life outside...Just to make sure he didn't...Murder. His hands were trembling and his fingers tug into the sides of the sink. Steady...He needed to be steady and breathe. His mind shifted from the incident to something closer to home. Evelyn...He'd look to the bathroom door as if he could stare through it. Was she the reason it kept attacking Aza? It wanted to free HER? Or...was it trying to kill her again? Rhaiden turned away and placed his face in his hands.
  45.
  46. xLoveLettersx Ama, who's full name being Amaranths: of course Ama was just for short. She knew that she was in deep trouble too as it was something that should of been eased into and not just dropped like a bomb on them and the like, but there was nothing she could do for the time being, the person was dead, but she had a feeling though that there was something supernatural about that one. That it would even take more than Rhaiden to try and kill that thing, she needed to do some historical research on such beings as that, but for now though she was attempting to cheer Azalea up. Poor girl, in all of this mess, she has been shoved around, pushed onto others, tried to do everything she could to help others and Rhaiden as well and yet, she kept getting the short end of the stick. Not to mention it was the first time she had actually seen Rhaiden wanting to kill someone else besides her and very well succeeded; the sheltered life that she had once lived it was completely gone, and she was just trying her best to stay pure of heart. Not to mention the fact of just being an angel, some prophecy that she was some how supposed to full-fill or whatever the case really was; had hardly had time to really sink in and settle in her mind, and now to know that she was or is Rhaiden's late wife. It didn't help anything, nor with how badly he reacted over it, of course that was the very last thing she wanted to do was hurt him; or even have him react in such a way about anything that gets shared or talked about. Then again it was indeed all her fault, she was the one to blame for everything, it was her fault, it seemed that just being around her caused people to nearly get hurt, or dead, or even just plain attacked for no reason at all. "Come on Aza....[C]Please eat something..?" Ama cooed out gently, there it was again that same refusal to eat anything when she was stressed out, and a lot was on her mind, she was feeling deeply guilty probably even more than Rhaiden and that was saying something. "I...I'm..not hungry..." she muttered softly as she curled her legs up to her chest as she sat in the middle of the bed and wrapped her arms around them. "Aza...you no good to anyone if you don't keep up your energy, you really should eat something" She told the girl who would start to feel angry at Ama a bit. Now anger was a rare emotion that Azalea felt from time to time, this time it was in frustration of Ama and how she felt like the truth was better left buried deep inside of her and wished she never knew a thing about herself. "I'm not any good for anyone apparently! so tell me why it should matter?? I'm a freak! I have watched three people die in the last MONTH....I hurt Rhaiden by just being alive, and none of this could I stop or change! My just being alive is just hurting people more than if I was dead, I should of stayed dead, despite them saying that it was a possible it had nothing to do with Rhaiden in the first place!" She yelled at her, as the tears were falling. "I can't do anything right....I...wish I never seen the breath of life..." she hiccuped out as she quickly got up and swiftly ran out the door. Not caring whether or not Rhaiden had heard any of it, it would be easy enough for him to though, it wasn't as if she quiet about it. So out into the cold she ran, and kept running not stopping; of course not sure where she was going or when she felt like it would be okay to stop; just kept going until she couldn't go anymore.
  47.
  48. Rhaiden It was safe in here, almost... comforting, like the cabin back home. Dark, quiet...ish...And he was awake...So dark was the only thing it reminded him of. His home was much bigger than this pathetic bathroom, but he wasn't going to think too hard on that. it'd ruin the comforting moment he was having. The edge of the tub soon became his seat and he'd just sit there in continued silence. It would leave alot to be picked up around him. Outside the walls he could hear people meandering about, in the next two rooms he could hear someone sleeping and another conversation going on. One he shouldn't be eavesdropping on. He'd shake his head and soon heard Ama's voice. It was one of those that pierced through everything and demanded attention. Looks like Aza wasn't eating again... Rhaiden knew that reaction all too well and how stubborn she could be about it. He had tried to get her to eat quite a few times during those moments until he somewhat gave up. It was her choice, she was an adult and he wasn't going to force her to eat. A slight chuckle escaped him, envisioning how frustrated Ama was going to be. She didn't know what she was dealing with. If the mutt swayed her quickly though, Rhaiden would applaud her. At the sound of the conversation though, she wasn't going to win this battle. As it continued though, his amusement faded. She hadn't hurt him, it was just...shock that drove him away. Shock and worry for what he might do again. Though Aza assured her field would protect her, it was only a matter of time or just a slip up...Could the beast get past the shield. What if he was hugging her? Seeking some kind of comfort because he couldn't stand being away for long? Had done something stupid or simply the two of them were having a good time? How fast would her protection activate if his claws or fangs came into play? It just took one little slip up and she'd be gone again. He'd clench his hands and drove his fingers into his palms. Thankfully it wasn't deep enough to make them bleed. He needed to stop being a coward and accept this. Evelyn was inside Aza and just knowing that...Shouldn't change what friendship had grown between them. It was easier said than done. He'd get up and put his blindfold back on. The shouting spurred him to move faster and whip the door open just as Aza left. "I'll get her." Though Ama could retrieve the wayward woman in a snap, Rhaiden wanted to do it...Try to do it...He'd leave the room, chasing after Aza as she ran. His own trek was hindered, but he'd try and follow her path while keeping alert to his surroundings. "Aza!" He tried calling. If she didn't stop, he was going to try and catch up. If he managed to, Rhaiden would grab her arm and put them both to a halt.

  50. xLoveLettersx Ama was doimg her best to get her to eat and not think on the thinga that had brought all three of them to this point, but obviously the girl wasn't to much of a fan of it. She was beginning to wonder what on earth this girl was made of to be so stubborn she would deny her body's basic needs to survive, and yet here they were! There were a few times that Rhaiden did manage to get Azalea to eat, even at the clumsy cost of feeding her himself, and surprisingly he had gotten quite decent at over the course of doing it. Of course it was only when Azalea got too stressed out with things in live it seemed to happen, then again she maybe on lighter medications, but she still needed to eat with the smaller doses too. "Azalea...please?" Ama asked in a pleading tone as if she was trying to bargain with her, but the real deal of frustrations was on her face quite clearly. Azalea had been so sure she would always be fine about Rhaiden, never did she feel unsafe near him, except the first few attacks, soon enough though she had grown used to them as well and trusted in her ablity to protect herself in dangerous situations. But never did she once think it would fail to help keep others and Rhaiden safel, she felt just a complete failure to help anyone anymore; she wondered what had happened to her? Maybe she could just pretend that none of this ever happened! The tears wouldn't stop amd after her scolding of Ama, she was frustrated amd sighed as she heard the bathroom door fling open and raising am eyebrow at Rhaiden a bit curiously. What spurred up his ass this time to actually go after the girl himself this time? But she didn't even have the patience to argue with him "have at it then" she told him simply as she just sat on the bed where Aza had once been. Of course Azalea wouldn't get to far as she still hadn't take her meds and it caused a harder push on her body to try and run without them, plus Rhaiden could take larger strides than her, with having short legs anyways it wasn't long before she heard his call. But before much other effort he managed to grab her arm and pulled her to a halt, her heart was pounding quite hard as her breath was a bit labored.
  51.
  52. Rhaiden Advantage to his condition, having been able to sense where he was going. Then again, he knew Aza's heartbeat like the back of his hand. Rhaiden could run, could manage his way from place to place...It was just obstacles that were the problem. People, animals, things...Hole in the ground, a root, whatever his footing could catch on. Fate had been kind to him this evening. Her short legs and lack of benches and trashcans in the way aided him in the chase and catching her arm. He had to be careful, for easily could he rip the smaller limb from its socket. Then came the sudden turn around and clutching her close. Her heart sounded like it would burst right out of her chest like an angry alien. Keep it in...was that what he was trying to do or keep her from escaping? Her labored breathing reminded him not to hold on too tightly. So much to remember along with that moment. Just keep her from running. "Breathe..." He started. As if that single word would calm everything down for her. He was probably scaring her further, knowing full well she'd seen what he'd done. Sure, he had killed before, but those people were a different story and Aza hadn't seen all of it. "None of this is your fault...Things just happen we can't control." Rhaiden was trying to reassure her, that she was not to be blamed for anything. Whether or not it worked any relied on her now.
  53.
  54. xLoveLettersx Azalea's mind was spinning quite a bit, she was surprised that it was Rhaiden that had followed her out, and not Ama, though she knew she was trying to bring oeace and comfort, it seemed that particular angel lacked the skills to do so. Her breathing was laboured, not as much as it used to be, but still enough that it was causung her heart to pound; but the dizziness she would normally would experience had just been turned into tingly in her arms and legs when one ran to fast to quick without stretching. Before she could process much more there was a sudden turn and then a face full of warmth splashed right over her as she felt Rhaiden clinging to her. It felt as if it was almost for dear life, her mind raced with more and more thoughts as she felt her tense face seem to relax slightly as even the tears began to slow as well. She hadn't thought he was going to hurt her in the least bit or accidently harm her; then again the pounding of her heart seemed to drown everything else out as she could feel it in her ears. At his slow starting word of breath, her mind quickly went to the breathing techniques ahe had learned growing up. In through the nose and out through the mouth. Slowly doing it three times in a row her heart rate start to slow down a bit. Continuing on with it as she softly allowed her small arms and hands try to wrap around him, but instead she just clung to his shirt as more and more her heart rate would decrease. She would give a small sniffle as she wasn't or hadn't been scared of him much anymore, just that she wouldn't be there some point to not keep him safe, or others around him. "...I-I c-couldn't...h-help an-anyone..." She barely managed out, as hiccups started in.
  55.
  56. Rhaiden Rhaiden wanted to be away from her and yet couldn't. Not again, this was his struggling determination. Always on the err of caution, which would keep everyone safe. Call him greedy, selfish or overall lonely. His heart ached behind the wall he built around it. Any love he showed wouldn't go beyond the point of friends. And yet that resolve shattered when he heard those words. Evelyn had returned, in the form of the woman he held now. Things would be forever changed between them, but he didn't want to think about that now. Now was trying to keep her from hurting herself and pull Aza up from feeling useless. "That's it...breathe." He repeated calmly. The tall man could hear that thunderous beating of hers starting to slow and he'd gently rub her back. Careful, that's what he's always been with her. Both in this life and the previous one. He was fully aware of the strength behind those hands, even before the accident. Had she tried to wrap her arms around him, he might have chuckled. She was so small, it was like trying to hug a large tree. When she spoke those words, he remembered all too well what happened. That man...He both loathed and felt bad for him. Had he not been there, none of this would be going on and he'd still be alive. The two of them would be more focused on what Ama had spilled and life went on...Awkwardly. Nothing could be changed now, not unless they somehow went back in time. "Shhh..." He started. "Aza, no one could have predicted what happened." Well maybe someone could, but none of them currently present. She could hear the guilt in his voice as he spoke. "It's MY fault for overreacting." He lowered his head some before adding. "You should invest in a squirt bottle, especially when Ama opens her big trap."
  57.
  58. xLoveLettersx Azalea was so tired, mostly with so much news and craziness going on she really felt that this was all her fault, it seemed to just all show up out of the woodworks! It was exhausting at the moment to try and stop everything from happening so fast, but there Rhaiden was, probably the only consistent thing in her life as of late. The steady of his always being around and a tad grumpy, at least until he ate and had coffee, and a few of his favorite snacks. She would give a light sigh as her breathing began to slow more, though her mind just seemed to never end in thoughts. Rhaiden's words though quickly brought her right back out of her own head for a bit at just breathing, softly inhaling and exhaling quite slowly as her heart seemed to ease up even more than it had been, nearing closer to her normal rymthic movements. With the feeling of soothingness of his gentle back rubs her tense body seemed to loosen and ease up.One thing was for certain was that she would nap for quite a while once the exhaustion from crying and running sank in, possibly after she came down off the adrenalin rush she just received. Of course Aza has been doing her best to softly hug and cling to Rhaiden, but true that she was still much smaller than he was, so she just held to his shirt. She continued to sniffle and sigh as her breathing began to grow easier as she did feel horrible for not being strong enough or such to stop Rhaiden's rampage, and she would soon find that he felt guilty over it. "...I just didn't want you to get hurt too...and I couldn't stop either..." She told him softly and shook her head a bit "...I don't think you did, everyone is different when it comes to shocking news.." She told him gently as she leaned against Rhaiden more. Then she would giggle a bit and laugh at Rhaiden's statemnt about a squirt bottle "...maybe you should get one too" she replied and sighed a bit.Feeling more than she cared for sleepy, she just softly snuggled herself deeply into his chest "so...warm...and so tired.." She muttered out a bit quieter.
  59.
  60. Rhaiden Tonight there'd be none of that grumpiness. He would be gentle and patient with her. This was a serious matter and right now he wanted Aza to feel better. Rhaiden knew she could be strong and had gotten better with her heart condition over time, but routine died hard. Routine was something he always clung to to make the world easier on him. So when Aza came into his life she became a part of that routine. Stressing her heart out was something he was careful with and at times it was hard. It taught him to be more patient and curve his more negative emotions. "That's better." He comments as he could hear things going back to normal. "Hey I'm a tough old..." Pauses. "I'm tough." He corrected. "You don't have to worry about me." He'd chuckle lightly. "No...No I think I did overdo it." He had pummeled some guy into mush as far as he was concerned. "I'll need help working on that." Aza had helped get him in many ways, even minor, it set him on the right path. Asking her for further aid though was a risk. If her shield was as strong as she said it was, then he wouldn't have to worry...Right? Guess they'll play it by ear. "Nah, she'd turn it against me." Or perhaps she was saying HE needed a squirt bottle too. Imagine, big beasty getting scolded with a few spritz of water. "And that's our cue." It was too cold to stay out there overnight, so they'd have to go back to the room. He'd carefully lift her up and start walking back to the motel.
  61.
  62. xLoveLettersx She wasn't aware that she had been helping him curb things as much as she was, or that he had been learning to be a lot more patient due to her being part of his routine. She just wanted him to stay happy, but there was the confusion now about who she really was at this point, was she Azalea, or Evelyn? Or an angel? Or was it all three. One of her flaws was over thinking so much that she over the things she was dealing with. She didn't mean to or want to stress Rhaiden out about her, but she realized he still stopped for her, for whatever reason. At his comment of her breathing habing gotten much better she would sigh gently. A soft smile crossed her lips as she hesrd his tough comment of reassurance. "Who's gunna feed you if I don't worry?" She asked him with her own light laugh and softly leaned against him more. Her body and mind were growing exhusted as she sighed a bit "it just makes us all humanly normal, I can't think of someone that wouldn't freak out like such..."She assured him gently. "And I'll help however I can" she told him as soft yawn left her lips. Burrying herself against him more, the warmth and happiness she felt in the moment as the rest could just fade away. She would gently would relax more as she didn't mind and trusted that barrier of hers, because it felt as if it was just a part of who she was,and trusted that. "..nah, I wouldn't let her" she giggled a bit as she though of him getting squirted was quite funny to picture. Though at her feeling to sleepy to think things through, she just felt Rhaiden pick her up. He was right though, rest was needed desperately and doing it out here wasn't going to be that good. She just sank into the warmth of his arms and clung to him as before long she was already dozing off to sweet sleep, her small hands though refusing to let go of Rhaiden.
  63.
  64. Rhaiden (@Aza) Rhaiden could virtually sleep through anything, his snoring usually drowning out any sort of outside noise. It really was a wonder how Aza could tolerate it, he could care less about what Ama thought. Him and that particular angel will forever butt heads. The only thing they had in common was protecting Aza and even that didn't stop them sometimes. He was fully away of how powerful the guardian angel was, but he didn't give a flying rip. She was just some small mutt pug as far as he was concerned. Thankfully though, there were times when he was quiet as he slept. It didn't come often, but when it did, oh was it blissful. Today had been one of his long days, where it was wasted away with simply resting. He'd only woken briefly to use the restroom then flumped right back on the bed. Safe, sound, there. The beast had been behaving as of late, but the anxiousness was always present. Rhaiden had learned the hard not to put his guard down no matter what. The beast was an unpredictable thing and it only took one slip up. He was so focused on that problem, that he'd forgotten about another. It came rarely, seeing as he never allowed chimes or any sort of bell like things around the cabin. The only one he had was hidden in a trunk along with two rings. December was a dangerous time, for there were alot more bells and the like out there. Not that the poor souls were aware of how they affected him. They were out there giving cheer and hoping others would spare change for the needed. Someone was staying at the same motel they were or perhaps it was the timing. Whatever it was, fate wouldn't be in his favor. It just took the chiming of the bell to wake him. One of those moments of silence would continue on for quite a while. Despite his size, the man could be stealthy on his feet. This included when he went out the door. Hat, jacket and shirt were left behind. He would continue to walk, heading out into the cold and not feeling a thing. Despite the visible burn scars that shimmered silver, no one seemed to notice him. Probably because they were use to the odd or it was too odd. His shoes were soon slipped off and his bare feet trudged through the snow. Again, he didn't feel anything. Despite being 'blind' he seemed to be knowing or sensing where he was going. The worse he'd done was clip a trashcan or bench. At some point, his pants were lost, leaving the man in black boxers. He was mumbling something, pausing briefly before reaching out as if his hand was being taken, guided... He was heading out of town before his boxers were soon abandoned.
  65.
  66. xLoveLettersx Azalea was quite used to the snoring, it hadn't bothered her to often, she was one that was quite easy to adapt to different changes in her life. Well at this point she had to he at least as a lot had changed since they both ended up in Rowan Lake's. It was just supposed to be a vacation and then they'd go home to cabin, is what she thought, but their 'vacation' seemed to be lasting a lot longer than intended. While Ama didn't care much for Rhaiden, and would want to squash him as soon as she got the chance, but that would make Azalea to terribly sad and leave her lonely. So for her sake alone, she barely tolerated the creature; wondering what Azalea was so confident being around him was beyond her ability to understand, but she would keep a close eye to assure the girl wouldn't die. As self healing, well that hadn't been exactly learned yet, but so long as that barrier held out each time she would just watch. Being that of a lazy day, Azalea seemed to be taking it in stride as well, after their breakfast it was meds and a lovely long nap. Since Azalea hadn't exactly thought Rhaiden would follow her all the way here, she had only gotten a one bed room, but she was small enough to stay squished next to him. She seemed to be at much more peace while she was sleeping, as if a warmth of some kind just wafted through the entire room. Even Ama managed to take a bit of a nap, though her ears were still very much alert, it was why she liked a canine form, their hearing was immaculate compared to that of a normal human form. Soon enough though with Rhaiden walking about again Ama didn't pay much mind to him, thinking he could just be off to get coffee and would be back, as it seemed the usual routine after a nap of his. She rolled a bit in the fluffy warm chair she sat on, of course neither her or Azalea would be aware of Rhaiden's other issue; though to be fair it would of been something nice to know. Azalea would slowly wake up and yawn rubbing her eyes a bit, as her purple hues opened, almost expecting to see Rhaiden's goofy slightly grumpy waking from sleeping smile. For her to only blush and chastise him for staring at her while she slept again, but she woke to find Rhaiden completely gone instead. She looked around the room and noticed his hat was still there, if she had learned anything about Rhaiden he never left his hat. "Rhaiden?" She called out as she knocked on the bathroom door to only find him not there, it was odd. Then spotting his shirt, her eyes went wider, she knew it was cold outside, and he'd never just go out bare chested in the middle of winter. "Ama! Wake up we have to find Rhaiden! I'm really worried!" She spoke in a panicked voice, as Ama slowly stretched out and got up. "I'm sure he just went to get coffee" she grumbled a bit as she was having quite the nice nap, and felt it was interrupted "oh yes, I'm sure Rhaiden went to go get coffee, completely shirtless, without his jacket and most importantly his hat!" She frowned at Ama as her lips curled into disappointment more, as she held it up. Feeling a tugging sensation on her hand before the hat flew out of her hand towards the closed door, blinking as it seemed to keep hitting the door as if it wanted out. Quickly grabbing her jacket and shoes on, still in her pink fuzzy bunny pattern pj's grabbing the hat, and then opening the door quickly out she went with the hat tightly as possible in her grasp so she could allow it to take her where she could only assume it wanted to go, to Rhaiden.
  67.
  68. Rhaiden Coffee and warmth would have been heavenly right about now...Had he been aware of his actions. Had he been aware of his actions, this wouldn't be happening. Rhaiden was a modest sort, despite his current condition. Everything around him, sometimes including himself, was a mess, but when it came to exposure...That was something he was far from comfortable doing. Even before the accident he was like that. It may be due to his upbringing or the teasing he endured, one would never know unless they asked. When he was in a trance, it was almost like he was in his own barrier. The outside would was trapped away as a memory took over. He could see the forest clear as day. The night was warm enough to go to the lake and swim in its still waters. Their secret spot, but he was always worried they'd get caught by someone. Not just someone, but have an audience that included the woodland residents. Still he would follow the invisible hand that guided him. In reality, his body was reacting to a VERY chilly night. His feet having frozen up by now thanks to the snow while the cold air did the rest. The silver flecks in his scars still shimmered in the light or created their own illumination. He was currently a living lure for anything daring to come near. Friend or other would get the correct responses. He may be out of it, but once he was getting physically attacked enough, it would bring the beast out to defend him. For now though he seemed to be ignored and simply labeled as another crazy here in town. Back at the motel, that hat of his was brewing up a storm. Evelyn had teased him before about enchanting it so he wouldn't lose it. And thus, it became quite a good tracker. It wasn't like he had to wear it ALL the time, but so long as he was still in the vicinity of it, the article of clothing would remain mundane. As soon as Aza picked it up, it would be tugging like a big dog on a leash. Not nearly matching Rhaiden's own strength, but it made damn sure it got the message across. Its owner was away and it must find him! It would keep tugging and struggling. Once out in the open it would pull, practically dragging the poor woman now in the right direction. If the angel hadn't gone skiing before, this would be the closest she'd currently get!
  69.
  70. xLoveLettersx This was new, completely new, what on earth is really going on is Aza's life right now? Was she deserving of all of this from her previous life? What did they exactly get up to during that time, so many unanswered questions and for her a bit of an awkwardness still loomed. Yes Rhaiden caught her and kept her from just leaving both him and Ama alone, but they had yet to actually address the underlying issues and now he was missing. Not only missing now, bit his hat was dragging her off for a quite deliberate skiing trip, and while under normal circumstances this would of been funny, but right now it was more trying to keep her grip tightly on the hat so she wouldn't lose it. Even Ama had troubles keeping up, and soon shifted into a more human form to run after behind Azalea as she went. Azalea was worried that Rhaiden would freeze his little tushi off, but there were way more concerns as she spotted more of his clothes, "well least we know it's a good possibility that his manhood will fall off, so no reason for his brain to get any ideas" Ama chuckled. This earned a big glare from Azalea "you ma'am are a salty woman and hope you never get turned into a man and actually lose your own manhood!" She told her with a frown. Ama rolling her eyes lightly at the girl, and shaking her head a bit "I'm only salty because I am forced to deal with his asshat self, because you care about him.." She grumbled back. Azalea's eyes went wide and her cheeks flushed darkly as she squealed holding tightly to the hat."Ama! Those naughty words of yours! And well, if you what you say about me is true, then I guess I've made the first improvement in the different creatures, and beings; with you and Rhaiden then!" She nodded her head a bit as she finally spotting Rhaiden, she would carefully allow the hat to go. "Rhaiden!!" Azalea yelled as she soon made her way over to him and would gently tug against his arm "come on we have to get your clothes back on, it's freezing out here, Ama please go get his clothes!" Ama would blink as she looked at the sheer butt ass naked Rhaiden "Aza I take it back, that man needs to lose his manhood!" She yelled "Ama! This isn't the time! Clothes, please!" She yelled back narrowing her eyes at the woman as she grumbles back as she starts storming off back to the hotel room to fetch something to put his ass in.
  71.
  72. Rhaiden The memory continued to guide him away from town. It was so powerful and his want to stay in it just as strong. It was one that involved his wife when he first met her. Not just their first meeting, her first life. There was nothing wrong with Aza, he just clung too tightly to Evelyn. A mixture of missing her, guilt and some fear. Fear that he'd be alone. She took the chance in interacting with the giant man, treating him as a person rather than how others saw him. His size for example made him awkward and clumsy. When his magic came into play and he had no control, he was a menace. Trouble always followed him no matter how careful he was. His friend Hollens was the only one that stuck it out and even he was an accidental target now and then. Thankfully the man's hair grew back from the last accident. Evelyn was patient and kind, just like Aza was. Rhaiden knew he didn't deserve either of them, but they stuck around. Tonight's adventure was something he was reluctant to do. It was at her insistence and how fun it'd be that made him follow. Well, that and her beautiful form in the moonlight. Her dark hair keeping parts secret as they peeked out through the strands. He had stepped on a branch at one point, the snap making him freeze like someone had caught them. He was being so silly, worrying too much as she tugged him further. In reality his body was freezing, reacting just as it should in this kind of weather. He was shivering and his breath could be seen as he breathed. Yet in the memory the night was warm and clear, with the lake appearing still as glass up ahead. Evelyn was calling him a slowpoke... "I'm not." He said aloud. Something would hit him and he'd 'look' up at the branches above. Perhaps another twig or leaf...In reality his hat had escaped Aza as soon as she let go and landed atop his head. When she yelled his name, he'd look on ahead, having fallen behind some...When did Evelyn release his hand? "I'm coming." He felt something at his arm, another branch? He'd turn his head, covered eyes upon Aza, but he saw Evelyn in her place. "I wasn't that far behind." She didn't have to come get him. "You sure no one can see us?" He had asked this earlier, but couldn't shake it. He just knew someone would spot them in the lake.
  73.
  74. xLoveLettersx Azalea hadn't the faintest idea that this was a trance in the least bit, she didn't exactly know a whole lot, about the past or much about what she used to be like. This still hurt her head on the occasion to try and understand how these things worked, after that big reveal of Ama's Azalea was reluctant to even want to ask anything more. There was just WAY to much on her plate and adding to it would just be overload, as she has finally accepted who and what she is, she wasn't sure if she would ever be able to accept what Ama told them about who she used to be. She knew she would never measure up to what his late wife was, there was just no comparison, at least that was what she could understand from little bit Rhaiden did manage to tell her. Maybe it was also her own issues of slight insecurities that caused this line of thinking, but she was mostly always just trying to be herself. One though couldn't help, but to question things, and where they stood, or if she should just be there to be his friend and nothing more. It really felt like lately, fate was against her having a peaceful moment to just sort through all of her issues in her head; while usually she would just bake, but since being there it wasn't exactly like she could be creative and help clear her head from their motel room. That was another important question" were they going to go home? Or were they going to stay, so a serious, yet calm talk was in order to deal with and discuss with Rhaiden. "I think the man is completely delusional!" Ama yelled as she left Azalea to deal with the bare man, while she went back to fetch some warm clothes and shoes for him, the man may need more than just that to warm everything back up again. Once Aza let go of the hat and it landed on his head Azalea would lightly tug against his arm once she reached him. At Rhaiden's words though Azalea looked confused and unsure of what to do exactly "Rhaiden, we need to go home, it's to cold out here" she cooed and tried to redirect him back towards the town and their inn for their stay for now. It sucked, she was entirely to small, just everywhere, slipping and falling face down in the snow, before quickly hopping up and grabbing a hold of Rhaiden's arm again so she wouldn't lose him. "What do i do? What do I do" she began to panic a bit as thoughts swirled in her mind, 'sing' came the small yet knowing voice called out to her mind. Sing? Really, she can't wake him up, or make him stop, but she would give it a go. So she began to sing to him gently, allowing her natural angelic power to waft off her own body and envelope him in warmth and a sense of safety and that someone else needed him back there. While at the same time she did so a brighter more warmed imagine of Evelyn would show instead of Aza, she was unknowingly projecting part of her inner self. She was just hoping he would stop this mess, wasn't even sure if it would actually work, but she had to try something, she couldn't let him freeze to death.
  75.
  76. Rhaiden His body continued to shiver, yet it didn't pierce through his memory. Rhaiden was still out in the woods, on a clear, warm night, with his wife right beside him. He didn't remember her coming back...But figured she had taken a different path. The trees weren't bunched up together and there was plenty of room to wander around them. Even he could do it if he wanted. Aza did get him to slow down and almost turn as she guided him. If he heard Ama's shout, he didn't show it. Instead he continued to look elsewhere. Back to the 'lake' briefly, which shimmered and caused a bit of white to appear on the surface. Perhaps reflections of the moon. It was still at first, but then a ripple went across? That would make sense. "I thought you wanted..." He started, unsure of why the sudden change in direction. Getting turned around didn't last long, for the image that was behind him, now appeared in front again. Wasn't it just...? Whatever was going on was dizzying. He'd glance over his shoulder, seeing the dark and trees behind them now. Guess it was his own imagination. At least now Aza had him walking in the right direction. The moment of truth came quickly as in his mind they were at the lake's edge. His steps would suddenly halt. "Watch the rocks." He warned as Aza slipped. He should have been there to catch her, but instead Evelyn had gone off ahead into the water. He would have to be careful too, or meet the same fate. And yet the worry that she may be hurt spurred him to move again. Only then did the chill get noticed on his feet. Warm night, cold water. "This is insane." He mumbled before she was up and at his arm again. "You alright?" Though he couldn't truly see, he looked her over then around again. So far no one, they were alone out here. Once she started singing, his attention went fully on her. Evelyn did enjoy all sorts of songs, he could listen to her all day. One time she tried to get him to duet with her and it didn't end well. He couldn't sing a note to save his life, but at least he knew how to dance. It seemed his clumsiness disappeared when it came to that. When the heat enveloped him, his shivering started to cease. The silverly flecks in his scars began to gleam as Evelyn's energy grew stronger. His world soon turned black and only her image glowed in the dark. Rhaiden blinked behind the blindfold as he was snapped back to reality. His form was cold, not freezing anymore, but there were still telltale signs. He didn't need to see to know that. "What..." He questioned before shaking his head and his free hand glided... "What?" He repeated and felt along his chest, his thigh... He could feel the snow under his feet and everything rapidly clicked. "Oh god." Hand up, no scarf but his hat. He'd swiftly take it off and cover his front. Rhaiden just wanted to curl down and disappear right then and there...Who was holding his hand?! A short inhale and...Yup he was going to go crawl under a rock!

  78. xLoveLettersx This was cake icing for her, the poor girl felt defeated as of late, and all of this was just not helping any, what in the world was truly going, as fear and worry was swirling in her mind. Maybe Ama is right this time, that Rhaiden had really gone and lost it this time, but that didn't make sense or even fit with his more, uh, beastly side of things. She shook her head trying to clear those thoughts away as they weren't helping anyone currently and they were certainly not keeping her calm! First to get him turned around, and that seemed a bit difficult, but she would sigh in a gentle tone as she finally managed to do so. She needed a vacation, from her vacation, now if thst wasn't irony she hadn't a clue what would be by this point, wondering if perhaps she and Evelyn royally screwed up in a past past past life or something! Finally he was walking the direction she needed him to "we have to go this way" she told him gently as she wasn't sure what was going on, but once he was well again, and in clothes again she was going to demand an answer to what exactly happened and how to keep it from happening again! She really shouldn't be to hard on him, after all, he was far from home or rather the home he made for himself, she ends up in his life, through no fault of her own, or maybe it was, she still dealing with Rhaiden telling her it wasn't, yet it seemed like it was from her perspective at least. Then things get changed and she is still learning about him, maybe he was doing the same? There was still a lot of unanswered questions, and questions to be answered by the both of them. But the falling interrupted her thoughts and she focused on getting up fairly quickly to her feet and dust herself free of the snow "Rhaiden there wasn't any rocks.... I slipped and fell" she told him trying to assure him she was fine in her own way. Though now to think of it maybe it was a terrible way to do so, she knew she could be clumsy at times herself, yet it only happened on flat surfaces. Finally at his arm again she would nod her head, going along with the crappy situation was better than losing him "yes, I'm fine, nothing is broken or bleeding" she assured him as her mind went back to racing, and her more inner self was talking to her in a way that was calming. Who better to know what to do to break Rhaiden out of this this his wife, er late wife? Her? Ugh! Forget it, it was way to complicated to try and figure all that out currently. So she followed the inner voice and began to sing allowing the warmth to wash over him, and try and wake him from this sleep walk, or whatever it was that had managed to get him completely bare bones, and wondering out in the freezing cold. Then she finally slowed the song to hearing his 'what's' being repeated. Though she held gently, but firmly to his arm and hand, her eyes never once wondered towards his manhood, her brain was to freaked out worrying over frost bite and him getting sick to think about it. Ama was the only one who did, and soon was making her way back down the roads to get to Aza and Rhaiden. "It's okay Rhaiden, I was really worried..." Aza told him honestly "but I suppose I owe your hat a lovely thank you....seemed to know right where you'd be..." She told him gently as Ama appeared in front of them. A whistle from Ama's lips could be heard "did it freeze off yet?" She asked with a humored chuckle and Azalea looked less than impressed "Ama, don't be mean, I think there was seriously something wrong" the young lady scolded her angelic guardian. Taking the clothes from her and gently taking Rhaiden's hand and placing them on the fabric "I know it won't replace a hot shower, but at least put these on so you can stay warm until we get back to the inn" she told him gently as she would hold the items and one by one hand them to him so that he could put them on without falling over, and was sure to keep her eyes away from such things. "Aww and here I was hoping he'd lose it all, damn, maybe some other day" Ama chuckled and started laughing more as she knew she would just add to Rhaiden's reddening face, and desire to hide from them.

  80. Rhaiden It was a good thing Rhaiden didn't read thoughts. He was ruining Aza's vacation and was well aware of it. Just currently, that thought was on the back burner. Had he heard it though, that bolting away he wanted to do, wouldn't be out of embarrassment. He didn't want to ruin anything for her, but there were things he had no control over. Dealing with his beast was already an issue. Being a hermit and staying in the cabin had given him relief from the bells and chimes. Not once did he hang any of those up around the property. It had been so long since he'd been lost, that he'd forgotten all about that issue. So long, that he didn't tell Aza or Ama about it. One of his hobbies had been creating chimes. Their sounds were like magic as some would comment. He made them mostly out of enjoyment, but had sold some on occasion. It'd been years since he made any of those too. Breaking old habits wasn't completely a good thing. For instance around Christmas time he would stay locked away or roaming the forest. Heading into the nearby city was just trouble waiting to happen. He would stock up on what he needed and 'hibernate' until the season was over. Aza hadn't been living with him for a year yet, so this would be the first time she'd experience this. First and hopefully last, because he planned to wear earplugs and hide in the motel room for the rest of the season! Stupid, you shouldn't have come here in the first place! This was her vacation, away from the chaos and he just followed her like a lost puppy. This was all his own doing and he would own up to that. He shook his head. "It's not ok, it'll never BE ok. I'm sorry Aza." If he could shrink away, he would. The only thing tethering him near was her hand grasp. One he could easily break and flee from. And yet that thought soon slipped away when she mentioned the hat. His hat, the one Evelyn teased him to enchant. He'd never go anywhere without it. Would sleep in bed with it if he could. Surely he'd never do THAT. He wasn't that attached to it. Oh yes he was. Enchanting it had even caused the item to be more durable. It would last as long as he would with hardly a stitch out of place. A weak chuckle escaped him and it was soon replaced with silence again. Then came the whistle, which made him color more. Maybe it was best to have Aza let him freeze. At least turning white or blue would hide the deeper embarrassment Ama was bringing him. He didn't say a word, not yet anyways. As soon as his hand felt the clothing, he'd snatch the pants first and put them on. The rest didn't seem to matter as he sidestepped away from the women. His head was down and the hat shadowed his features. His hands clenched tightly at his sides and the silvery flecks shimmered again when he spoke. "Fuck you Ama." A streak of sliver also rolled down his cheek and he wiped at it angrily before trying to walk off. Let him freeze, he didn't care!

  82. xLoveLettersx Aza wasn't really worried over the vacation being ruined, but more so in the concern that she held for Rhaiden and what was possibly going on with him, or the fact she didn't know. This was very much new to her having not being living with him long enough to know that bells did this, or much of the fact that Rhaiden used to make chimes. Maybe there was a lot more to the man that she didn't truly know about, was she just fooling herself? There were of course some things she knew perfectly about him, his favorite treat, and how he loved his coffee and how big he was about his meats. Ama on the other hand didn't care much to learn about Rhaiden or that stupid beast inside of him, part of her would always see him as a threat to Aza no matter what he did, but only for Aza's sake did she put up with whatever was going on between the two of them. Mostly kept an eye on Aza, and any point she needed to step in she would, more so after the first time she seen him actually attack her. Ama really thought there would be truly no help for the guy, Angel or not, maybe even better off dead; but allowed those thoughts to stay private to herself. But as Aza held his hand she wouldn't let go, at least not until he was safely back inside with a hot bath and right under the blankets to stay warm. She hadn't any idea of how long that he had been outside exactly, and so the worry increased, before tilting her head up at him curiously. "Rhaiden...it will be okay, and you don't have anything to apologize for" she would try and assure him, she didn't understand that he really wanted to hide under a rock or anything to take him from such an embarrassing situation. Yet, her innocent mind still kept with the heartfelt concern over him getting better and explaining what exactly had happened so she could hopefully help in some way. Plus there were other things she wanted to talk to him about and they were important, just as much as his health. Finally Ama was back, but she was being a salty, very very salty woman towards Rhaiden. Handing him clothes then seeing him quite upset after pulling his pants on, fists clinched, and he was crying? Ama made him cry, and Ava seen him storm off away from the two of them. Azalea's bangs floated over her eyes, darkening her own face, as a burst of anger seemed to just surge through her own body "how dare you" her voice was low and very serious towards Ama. Ama went to open her mouth, but Azalea quickly turned her eyes towards the angelic guardian, they were shifting from their usual purple to a fiery fierce looking blue, they held a furry like never before, as the energy seemed to match it surrounding Azalea."You have no right to say such hateful, rude, and mean things! He's been through enough, as it is and you just need to poor so much salt into those already opened wounds that you found the need to reopen in the first place!" She scolded her, but her voice was very low and beyond way to calm even for Azalea. "I suggest you get out of my face, and go and actually learn HOW to interact with humans, and stop being so mean to others, and do not come back until you do!" She told her firmly. Ama had actually shrieked back away from Azalea as she was so much scarier like this, it was a side she never seen, and quickly she left the girl and Rhaiden without another word. Azalea would then take a deep breath before running after Rhaiden and slipping her hand into his and softly pulling against him to stop and turn around. "Come on, we need to get you into a hot bath and something warm to eat so you don't get sick" she told him gently as she tried to get him to follow her.

  84. Rhaiden There was alot that he kept from her. Some of it was lost while others were something he didn't want to talk about. Either one could play out randomly when he was in a trance. It made him look crazy and made him feel foolish and stupid afterwards. It couldn't be helped, just like alot of things it seemed. Precaution was the best weapon though. Routine aided him quite well too. If they were to stay here, he'd have to figure out a whole new one...Or perhaps, ask for help. Rhaiden was use to doing things on his own, give or take when their friendly doctor butted in to check on them. Aza had uprooted his solitary life and deep down he didn't regret it. His wall was put up to keep everyone safe when in fact he hated being alone. He always had at least one person to socialize with and was never greedy for more than that. At the present moment, he was fine being alone. The cold was the last thing on his mind as he kept wiping at his face. His tears stung his cheeks and it was pissing him off further. Why wouldn't they STOP?! Ama and him had exchanged words quite a bit and never once did she make him feel this way. Was it couple with the embarrassment? More than likely. He felt humiliated and the jabs didn't help. Old wounds indeed had been flayed open, but like before they would eventually close. If only those ones worked like his physical ability did, where he could just get over it and move on. He wasn't aware of Aza's fury and had he witnessed it, he may have cringed away himself. Ama was powerful and if she shrunk away from her wrath Rhaiden wouldn't do any better. When he heard someone following him, he just about said 'leave me alone'. His emotions were guiding him right now and he...Was being very childish and stupid. He felt her hand grasp his and heard those words. At first he resisted, but soon turned to face her. "I don't get sick." He mumbled. If anything SHE would be the one to get ill. Which was another reason he started to follow her. "I don't want you staying out here because of my stupid ass." Which made sense. Aza was just as stubborn as he was, if not more. Her being at risk would force him to do whatever she wanted. If Ama was going to be there, he was going to ignore her no matter what she said.
