  1. The Infernus crawled onto the scene. Glancing to the form of Daran. A faint grin arising upon his face as he beheld the child. Before stating mentally. His telepathy assailing the Tera and Daran respectively. A malicious laughter festering into their minds.
  2.
  3. “Fight the Tera. Maim them, make them bleed. Make them suffer. They must grow further..through strife. Bring them..pain and suffering. Force Shinra to ascend beyond her puny worthless state. However you must not land any true killing blows. Such..would earn you my ire. We are Yokai, we are above your pitiful race. In time you will understand this. Your only purpose right now is in helping the weaker of my kin grow into a more useful form, for my own goals.”
  4.
  5. The Infernus stated bluntly. Before glancing to Shinra. Lightly prodding at her mind. A slightly forced command given.”Fight the human, grow by facing him in combat, Ascend beyond your worthless state. Ever closer to the perfection we both desire. To the destiny that we shall all attain..” A slight lie. Yet a most useful sort. To twist and ensnare the Tera into serving him whilsrt he pushed himself further and further beyond all of the Yokai presently within the area.
  6.
  7. Griuntherche neared Kaordom. The feeling of his imminent ascension. It flowed within. Heat..it surged periodically from his body now. Soon, his form would shift. Forming into a being capable of beginning to marshall the Yokai into a fiery frenzy throughout the woods, to burn it all down. To grow those Yokai he took under his will into a force ultimately loyal to his cause. Alongside those he stle and sought to twist into his own ends through cruelty and outright manipulative means.
  8. (Griuntherche)
  9. It would seem that the same fire elemental was causing the trouble again as Deo walked into the frey.
  10.
  11. A frown hinted at his lips as he watched the massive fire giant spit out orders towards the human to maim the creature that stood beside him.
  12.
  13. "Is this what your doing? Didn't I warn you? " Deo stated as he stared low to the ground.
  14.
  15. Raising his right hand he pointed towards Daran with his index finger.
  16.
  17. " Are you really going to be bossed around by this thing? Does it feel good to be threatend? To be a slave?" he questioned as he geninuely wanted to know what kind of people lived in this country.
  18.
  19. He's met all sorts of people. Caring, evil, meancing. But people who loved to be enslaved. That would be a first.
  20.
  21. "Now answer me!" he demanded
  22. (Deo Hajara)
  23. Shinra snarled. She had no qualms with doing as asked. And the snarl was directed at Daran. Daran might have been stronger than Shinra, but she could fight.... she wasn't weak. She had a chance! Her tails flaired outwards, and occultic magic lanced between them, like black lightning and sparks of fire. If he wanted her to fight, she would fight. If he wanted her to grow, she would grow. Even if she was more than intelligent enough to distrust those lies. She didn't disbelieve them, but she didn't completely follow them.... Gruin wasn't yet fully controlling her.
  24.
  25. Then Deo entered the scene. Who was this human.... wait...
  26. *Flashback*
  27. Shinra watched from a distant tree, huddled and crouched. She saw Gruin and other Yokai.... and she saw Deo. She was a lowly lesser. To her this was a clash of titans. Deo and Gruin had a furious battle, just to end with Deo burying Gruin and leaving him.... sparing him..?
  28. *End Flashback*
  29.
  30. Slave? Was Daran a slave? She supposed the child was enslaved by Gruin. It wasn't the first person she saw Gruin dragging around. She growled, her head turning from Gruin to Daran to Deo and back. She awaited commands...
  31. (Shinra)
  32. Confused
  33.
  34. Daran seemed to so confused as the yokai order him to fight his kin. So all daran was post to do was beat this thing up? That was not a hard job at all. Yet, it made him question the bleeding thing. Daran really was young and didn't understand this whole situation. It was not natural for him to be put in things like this. Though the boy would shrug as he was about to prepare to attack the beast.
  35.
  36. Another person showed up. It seemed the person was the guy from before. Daran would listen to the man as he asked him so much. Truly Daran didn't understand the concept. He knew what a slave was but really never saw himself as a slave. He had free will to move as he pleased. though all he had to do was follow orders.
  37.
  38. The boy shook as he didn't like this situation. It made him question himself. Was he truly a slave?
  39.
  40. "I-i-i-i-i don't know understand! Am i a slave?" He looekd at his hands and screamed. It lasted for a while then he stopped. Getting up he would look at the other child and shake his head.
  41.
  42. "I'm no slave its simply a choice of matters. Not everyone will understand choices. Though i come to see that even though my decision is foolish i go along with it. I lliw llik ohw reve steg ni ym yaw" The boy would say to him and make a smirk.
  43. (Daran Lakewater)
  44. Frowning. Deo kept his gaze downward as he had no need for his eyesight.
  45.
  46. Stepping forward. He got infront of the yokai who now stood behind(or aside or wherever) to confront the kid who seemed to be around his age judging by his height.
  47.
  48. "Kill? I don't know what kind of language that is but it's simliar to my own. . . " he said as he stomped on the ground with his right foot. Causing the ground below him to tremble and arise around him. Cladding him in armor.
  49.
  50. "You don't have the right to take something that isn't yours. . . If you wish to kill. I have no choice but to stop you. " he said as he relaxed both of his arms. Leaving them by his side as he stood with his face pointed downwards.
  51.
  52. He was prepared to end this. This chaos. Killing or harming someone just because they were told to is madness. There was no reason to do such a thing. Unless their reason is justified or reasonable. Such a thing was not supposed to happen.
  53.
  54. "Stop now. . . Or else I will give you the same pain that you were just about to give this creature. . . . "
  55.
  56. "I do not intend to kill you. . . Unless you force me too. . ."
  57. (Deo Hajara)
  58. Was.... kind of pushed aside. Deo was far above her power level, and she knew that. "He was my fight.... I can defend myseelf..." she growls, but didn't intend to attack Deo... That was just a stupid idea. Then Elias wandered into the scene... Shinra eyed the newcomer over. Gruin was being odd . He wasn't forcing his will over Shinra like he had in the past. He was just telling her what to do, not controlling her directly... odd.
  59.
  60. Then she was told to battle Elias.... god damnit. She growled and crouched down. She supposed she had no choice but to do as she was told here. She stepped to the side then back again. Getting a feel for what her opponent looked like... this was either going to go very well, or very poorly. This one didn't seem afraid of Gruin, and that of all things made red flags fly everywhere. Fine. She created her Occultist flames once more, and prepared to fight, stalking towards Elias.
  61. (Shinra)
  62. Surprised
  63.
  64. So the man knew Sarradian language! The boy was a bit shocked. His teacher was the only one. Though the boy would sigh. It seemed it was time to fight. Cracking his knuckles he was glad to do this. It was gonna show he would grow. It might get bad but Daran was prepared. Walking around he saw the wind magic and was impressed.
  65.
  66. "No worries i have no plans at doing such a thing. Though i will not back down from a fight. Now lets not sit around and hold hands. Time is of the essence Sarradian. We shall see who knows more of the elements."
  67.
  68. One thing his teacher depised him doing was fire magic. He told the boy it was forbidden. Yet, he didn't listen to the man. That was the last day he and his teacher exchanged words. Daran was gonna break this rule even more.
  69.
  70. "Tseb fo kcul ym dneirf" He would then prepare to fight with fire magic over his body.
  71. (Daran Lakewater)
  72. 'Rauy hciips so reolomos. Tab to t'nso iht imes" He said towards Daran as the two would begin to go at it, and yet again. Deo faced off with another person who bathed themself in flames. The harsh fact was, that it seemed that everyone knew that elemnet but not him. A bit pathetic really.
  73.
  74. His speech in Sarradian meant this in the average tounge."Your speech is similiar. But it isn't the same"
  75.
  76. Deo quickly conjured up whirlwinds as he came charging at Daran. Flinging his hands outwards towards towards the fleeing child, causing earth bombs to erupt from the ground and fly towards him.
  77.
  78. The one thing that Deo dared not to do as the two went back and forth. Was to fly, cause if he done so. He would have no vision, rendering him useless in this fight which would lead to his envitable defeat.
  79.
  80. As the battle raged on, elements tore up the field. Fire, earth, wind, and some unknown holy magic. Was it holy? He couldn't tell. He had no clue of that type of magic as of yet.
  81.
  82. In mid-battle. The thought had came to him. This was a battle of elements right? If a boy could be using two basic elements along with one unique. He was sure to learn the last basic element that he was missing.
  83.
  84. Quickly getting rid of his earthen shell and his vortex of winds. Deo stood back waiting. Focusing on his mana as he built it up to use. He was going to learn fire. One way or another.Alia failed to teach him, so has the others who promised him or even mentioned it. He was going to learn it today!
  85.
  86. He waited for Daran to lash out with a wave of flames. Which he eventually did. Reaching outwards, Deo tried to bend the flames to his will. But it didn't work as easily as he thought as the wave of flames still came at him with full force. Panicked now, Deo went to a last ditch effort. Concentrating as hard as he could and using the mental skills that he used to learn wind magic. He attempted with the feat one more time and just as the waves of flames almost reached him.
  87.
  88. He threw both hands over his head and adverted the blast from him. Sparing him from severe burns.
  89.
  90. Smiling as he had done such a feat. Deo swung his arms around his head and back at Daran. Causing the wave of heat that he bounded away to come back around and come full force towards Daran.
  91.
  92. "Hahaha! Whose the master of elements now!" he exclaimed
  93. (Deo Hajara)
  94. Rage
  95.
  96. The children would go at each other. sending magics of all kinds at one another. The two would not give it on each other. The language was still he lacked truly. Yet, the ability was quite well. He didn't expect the fighter to be so strong. He was having the time of his life. The teacher was as strong as this kid. Though he knew it was not the same. The older man easil defeated him all the time.
  97.
  98. Deo power was quite amzing as he was hitting Daran hard. His use of magic was on a while new level. Though the boy knew that soon or later he would catch up. Some how he would need to get as strong as this guy. The forest was getting lit up.
  99.
  100. Fire was flying with wind. Earth magic was killing or wiping out any creatures who dared get in their path of destruction.
  101.
  102. Though he then found out something. The Sarradian was taking control of his magic. It seemed he was learning while watching Daran. It was quite fun to see this situation. Though he would taste bitter defeat at the end of the fight. Getting up he would spit on the ground.
  103.
  104. "This dance is over! We still have more classes to go over!" He says running back into the fight.
  105. (Daran Lakewater)
  106. 'Ooh this was too good to be true'
  107.
  108. "Classes? Man your crazy" Deo exclaimed gleefully as he shook his head going back into battle.
  109.
  110. Now he had fire to his arsenal? Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire.
  111.
  112. All four elements under his command. The power he maintained now. The power he wielded. The things he could do!
  113.
  114. Being so hyper of learning a new element. Deo decided that was going to be his main point of attack. Sending volley after volley of flaming waves of fire going straight towards Daran.
  115.
  116. The other boy seemed to be interested in it aswell as all he did was throw out fire majority of the time instead of relying on the other elements he knew. But this was something Deo was good at. it was an exteremely fast learner. Picking up pace as how to manifest fire to his will and use it in a destructive manner.
  117.
  118. Smiling Deo and Daran went back and forth at it. Even though the boy he was against had the intent to kill him since he got in his way. Deo was having a blast for the first time in a while. Throwing fire against fire. Finally getting on some even grounds.
  119.
  120. But as said before, Deo was an extremely fast learner as he picked up fast as how he should use his magic. As the battle raged on, the more experience Deo gained as he found more ways to manipulate the element to his will, and it wouldn't took long before his fire out out burned Daran's
  121.
  122. Coming to a close of this battle. Deo threw out a heat wave just as Daran had. The two battling it out with raw strength and potential as the two kept at it. But it didn't take long for Deo's flames to intensify to a greater magntitude than Daran's and place the kid right on his bum.
  123.
  124. Quickly, he threw his hands forward. Causing the earth to usher him forward before Daran would get up again and strike.
  125.
  126. He didn't want to keep this battle going with another going on beside him. Quickly, he darted over to Daran and placed his fist near his face as flame emitted from it, threatening to burn the boys face off.
  127.
  128. But Deo had no reason to do such a thing. Therefore he cut off his flames and then with a smile. He reached out his hand as an offering for friendship and to pull Daran up to his feet
  129. (Deo Hajara)
  130. Lost
  131.
  132. Daran and Deo went back in forth once more. Though he knew that his opponent was on a whole knew level. The child was simply amazed on how much progress Deo had. He wished he would have gained power like that. Though he did not falter as he fought on. His mind was on to never giving up. The waves of magic colliding over and over.
  133.
  134. Daran knew he didn't stand a chance. The moment he felt the earth magic hit him. He saw that his opponent was on a whole knew level. Still he would not break his way. It was to fun to just give up and quit. No, Daran was one to keep the blood flowing. Even when things were getting hard on him.
  135.
  136. The magic was bashing him to the core. Deo was way better at the elements. Though Daran knew that eventually he would get to that point. Soon rather than later. The fight was on as it didn't seem he would get much on Deo. Slowly he was losing breath.
  137.
  138. As he was hit and landed hard on the ground he saw the fist of fire at his face. The boy was prepared for what was to come next. Yet, he saw a hand. Daran would look to see the yokai was gone. He shook his head at this. The boy now assumed the creature was most defintely palying him for his own gain. He took the hand and stood up.
  139.
  140. With a smile on his face he would bow.
  141.
  142. "Man you are quite tough! Though since you got me out of that situation i'm a free man. I just needed to get away from that asshole. Luckily he didn't brand me or anything. Sorry about that though. Had to speak like that since he was around."
  143.
  144. He was quite the clever boy. He was not stupid enough to cross the yokai when he was around. Thoug now he was finally able to seek freedom.
  145. (Daran Lakewater)
