  1. Hey guys, how’s it goin?

  3. Not gonna lie, I'm still kind of proud of what I did to end my newest Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kindgom record. The final time was 2:00:11, but it would have been a bit longer, if not an improvement at all, had I done what I usually did in that situation. When Obelisk the Tormentor wrecks your best team to near complete decimation and you have the ability to heal them, your first inclination is to go back and heal before trying again, is it not? That is ALWAYS my thought, even on that run. However, I'm not usually having to retreat with Obelisk at such low health. Perhaps I went into desperation trying to preserve my sub-2 hour objective as I was so close to it. Whatever it was, it felt like a flash of brilliance to get my secondary team to finish the job. I just wish I had thought of it earlier. I will be thinking of it from now own, however. There's still work to do.

  5. Speaking of work to do, recent events have led us as a society to conclude that we have work to do to make things better for everybody. For their part, the people behind Calithon, Midwest Speedfest, and The Fast Force have put together a speedrun marathon called Stand Together that will benefit The Bail Project National Revolving Bail Fund, designed to reduce mass incarceration within the U.S. legal system by providing bail money for people in need. Because bail money functions as a deposit, donations to The Bail Project can be reused many more times than most other charity donations can. For more information on this marathon, go to CalithonSR on Twitter to find everything you need to know. Tayman and I will be racing Pokemon Puzzle League on Saturday morning EDT. If the finals of the 2017 PPL Speedrun Tournament are any indication, then you will not want to miss it. I will be preparing on Friday. My luck has not been great.

  7. And again, speaking of work, it is feeling like work to download every game from itch.io's Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality. $5 for over 1,500 games is insane, especially when several of those games' installation files are more than 1 GB in size. How many people can reasonably keep all of those games? It's one thing to get them all in your itch.io library (which will reportedly be made easier later on), but those games aren't going to be stored on itch.io's servers forever. Who's going to have the time to play them all before they get lost to the ether? Fortunately, from what little I've been able to see, there are plenty of games that don't look to be worth the download, but since I'm not playing any of them yet, I can't say that definitely. I think authorblues is playing through a bunch of them, at the moment. I should ask him. That said, this bundle does have Octodad: Dadliest Catch and freakin' CELESTE. Those games, by themselves, make this bundle worth all the money you're willing to put into it. If you haven't bought it yet, what are you waiting for?

  9. That’s my life story for the week. Until next time, everyone, thanks for reading!
