- Healer Mimicry Solo Level 70 Maps Guide
- GEAR Req: ilvl 370 and above (can meld at ilvl 370)
- Recommended: High Spell Speed (I use >2000 Spell Speed)
- My Spell List:
- Mandatory Spells:
- -Mighty Guard (to be able to take damage)
- -Basic Instinct (only works solo in instances--mitigates Mighty Guard dmg penalty, increases
- healing potency, and has permanent sprint active)
- -Aetherial Mimicry (for Healer Mimicry's healing potency)
- Spells Only for Outside Enemies (usage explanations below spell list):
- -Launcher (used in second wave of three wave pattern)
- -Missile (used on the single giant mob pattern and second wave of three wave pattern if needed)
- -Ram's Voice (used for all patterns to freeze enemies)
- -Ultravibration (used on frozen enemies)
- Primal Skills:
- -Feather Rain (DoT coupled with spell speed)
- -Shock Strike (ranged damage)
- -Phantom Flurry (strong damage channel)
- -Surpanakha (strong damage)
- -Nightbloom (strong AoE damage and DoT)
- -Veil of the Whorl (highly effective against packs of enemies, especially in the Lost Canals)
- Healing and Sustain:
- -Pom Cure (high burst heal, cheap MP, very effective for topping off HP and recovering)
- -Gobskin (tank buster survivability, effective against packs of enemies/adds)
- -Ice Spikes (slows some adds, useful for the final chamber in the Lost Canals)
- -Angel Snack (strong initial heal and regen, useful for large packs of enemies, or passive HP
- top-off. Effective against adds in the final chamber of the Lost Canals)
- Single-target Damage Spells:
- -Cold Fog (must get hit to activate the follow-up spell (probably shouldn't stand in AoEs).
- Powerful damage for single target)
- -Bristle + Song of Torment (strong DoT)
- -Sonic Boom (weaving tool, filler for single enemies)
- Multi-target Damage Spells:
- -Hydro Pull (can be used to pull outside mobs for Ram's Voice chain. Enemy pack filler)
- -Bristle + Aetherial Spark (strong but short AoE DoT. Needs to be refreshed often. Try aligning
- so that the spell hits as many enemies as possible)
- -Saintly Beam (solely for undead enemies. Affects: Canal Wraith + adds, Altar Dullahan, and Altar
- Gravekeeper adds)
- Usage Explanations:
- Outside Enemies
- _______________
- There are three patterns to the outside enemies.
- 1) Single large mob plus adds
- 2) Three waves of three enemies (3x3)
- 3) Single wave of four enemies
- The single large mob plus adds: use Missile until it has damaged the big enemy twice.
- If there is a significant delay between the first and second Missile damage, try to heal and
- use Gobskin as needed to survive.
- Once the second wave of adds spawns, Gobskin yourself as well as pop Angel Snack. Then, use
- Hydro Pull and after a short delay, begin casting Ram's Voice to freeze every enemy. Cast
- Ultravibration to finish them off.
- NOTE: make sure Ultravibration is off-CD as this can be dangerous and result in your death. The
- adds hit HARD.
- The 3x3 pattern: Freeze the first wave then cast Ultravibration. For the second wave, pop
- Lucid Dreaming and cast Launcher four times. Finish off the enemy with the lowest health with Sonic Boom. If
- there are enemies with high HP, use Missile on them. Heal yourself as needed. For the third wave,
- take off Mighty Guard, freeze the three enemies, then use up all of your Primal Skills to burn
- the enemies down. Re-freeze the enemies when the freeze timer hits 4 seconds.
- You may need to finish them off with Sonic Boom. Take extra care to not die since your MG is off
- at this point.
- NOTE: Don't forget to put Mighty Guard back up after the third wave!
- NOTE: Your main source of healing will be Pom Cure. When I refer to "heal", I'm referring to that
- spell.
- The single wave of four: freeze and cast Ultravibration. This is by far the easiest pattern.

- TANKBUSTERS
- If you are unfamiliar with a skill being casted by the boss, use Pom Cure immediately, followed
- by Gobskin. Heal if your HP is getting low. If you have a Stack Marker, treat it as a tank
- buster and heal yourself to MAX HP as soon as possible. It's recommended to eat a HQ food to
- hit 40k HP to survive tankbusters + a lucky auto hit. If possible, you can reduce the damage
- from them by casting Gobskin beforehand. As you run these dungeons and get a feel for the bosses,
- you can predict incoming tankbusters.
- SECONDARY OBJECTIVES
- These are: Altar Matangas, Gold Whiskers, and Mandragoras.
- -Ignore the Matangas and Mandragoras. If you hit the Mandragoras, you should still ignore them as
- their drops are not worth much. Try avoiding hitting the Matangas as much as possible as they
- can hit hard. Their attacks coupled with a boss's tankbuster leads to a dangerous situation. If
- you do not touch the Matangas they will despawn about 30 seconds after. Therefore it is recommended
- to avoid casting AoEs when they are present, and stick to Sonic Boom for the time being
- (as well as healing and sustaining yourself as necessary). Matangas drop VI materia which are
- worth next to nothing for the effort required.
- -Gold Whiskers can drop valuable Crystals and Clusters which sell for a decent price on the MB.
- These adds should be considered secondary though, and if you are still new to soloing these
- dungeons it might be best to avoid focusing on them until you are more experienced. They have
- fairly low HP so it's worth going after eventually.
- FINAL ALTAR
- Same advice as above. Some of these final bosses may have two tankbusters (standard tankbuster
- skill + stack tankbuster) so make sure you are focusing on the boss's skill bar as often as
- possible. Midway through the battle, adds will spawn. Use Primal skills to get rid of them
- as soon as possible. They can hit hard, which can be dangerous when coupled with a tankbuster.
- NOTE: a good habit for the bosses is to save AoE primal skills like Nightbloom for the adds.
- TIPS & ADVICE
- -Heal yourself when getting low on HP (<25% HP). Always heal before a tankbuster goes out, as well
- as right after.
- -If you're new to the dungeons, always be at max HP before an unfamiliar skill is casted by the boss.
- -Dodge AoEs! Don't greed.
- -Don't get frozen by Ram's Voice from the Altar Chimera. I've died three times that way.

- HANDLING PACKS OF ENEMIES
- -Angel Snack is your BFF.
- -Pom Cure and Gobskin work wonders at mitigating damage.
- -Hydro Pull is good here.
- -Bristle + Aetherial Spark for a potent AoE DoT.
- -Ice Spikes might work, might not. It varies per enemy. Still, good to use to slow down their
- casts.
- -Veil of the Whorl SHINES here. The more enemies that hit you the better.
- FINAL CHAMBER
- -Save Primal Skills (except Feather Rain) for adds. Sprites can be highly dangerous. Each of
- the four sprites does 4k damage. Ice Spikes slows their cast time down so it is useful here.
- -Cast Angel Snack when adds come out. Should avoid using it in the 6th chamber so you have it
- here.
- -Save Swiftcast for an emergency Pom Cure. You may need it!
- -Gobskin works great at soaking damage.
- TIPS & ADVICE
- -Dodge AoEs. Heal when running low. Adds can hit all at once which can deplete your HP in the blink of
- an eye.
- -Sprint out of the Scream AoE from the Wraith enemy. It's a rather large AoE but can prevent you
- from healing yourself or use any actions.
- -If you get the Wind Beast in the final chamber, heal yourself more than usual. This is the
- toughest boss type of the four.
- Any questions? Please let me know in the Discord! Hope this guide helps you :)
