Well, as you know Baji Rao died some years back. But, unfortunately or fortunately, his last words were “Get me a sammich” and that is what is written on his tombstone. This spread far and wide and was the cause behind a recent bloodbath in IIT Kanpur. Anyway, all that is ancient history. Today, to mark his 176th birthday, the epitaph on his tombstone is being changed. But, as we know, Baji Rao was an eccentric man. He had written on his will, that his epitaph should not have the letters “s” and “n”, it should be exactly four lines long and no line should contain more than 14 letters and the only epitaph which could actually violate these rules would be if his last words violated them and it was being put on the tombstone.
So, anyway, after that complicated description, the epitaph writer threw his arms up in despair and ran off with Baji Rao’s beautiful daughter. But that is another story. Anyway, it is an emergency and we want you to write an epitaph for Baji Rao’s tomb and it should conform to the above rules of the soul of Baji Rao will haunt you forever.
