Covet: Kelsey was in the studio on the phone with a radio interview. She was smiling and nodding her head, "Of course Ryan It was great to talk to you too, I look forward to hearing this next week. Have a good night. Mhhm, Thanks!" She said leaning back then pinched the bridge of her nose. " Thank god that is over." Kelsey added with a sigh.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad was sprawled out on the couch, his feet kicked up in the air with his phone resting on his chest and tilted up to his face so he could see the screen. He'd been half listening to Kelsey's side of the interview while going through his emails and trying to sort through everything Evan had sent him and gone over with him for the upcoming week, knowing he still had prepro to finish on Steph's video shoot this weekend. When Kelsey hung up, he turned his head to look over at her. "It didn't sound so bad."-
Covet: Kelsey walked over to Brad and sat down on him since he was sprawled out on the couch. She gave a bit of a bounce and nodded her head, "Yeah, but that's kind of how it always is with Mr. Seacrest. I'm supposed to be going out to New York for a radio slash online stream performance next month sometime." She added. "How busy is your week looking?"
Alexithymiaa: -He let out an instant groan when she sat on top of him and bounced, flinching since he hadnt been prepared or braced for her. "Mr. Seacrest? You make it sound like the dude is to be respected. He's kind of an asshole a lot of the time, from what I've heard. Did you hear the interview he did with Anna? What a douche." He said, rolling his eyes. "It doesn't look good. Most of it isn't scheduled, but I still have a lot of planning to do for the Krucial Kittens video this weekend, and Thursday morning I have an interview apparently."-
Covet: "Well, I've personally never had an issue with him, so until I do, I'll respect the man." Kelsey told him as she looked down at him. "You poor thing, wait, what do you have an interview for?" She asked then added, "Do we have anything going on tomorrow night?"
Alexithymiaa: "Uhhh...." He trailed off, already forgetting who he was supposed to be talking to even though he'd just been reviewing. He opened his calendar, clicking on Thursday and reading it. "American Cinematographer magazine." He lowered the phone back to his chest, glancing up at her. "Not as far as I know. Why?"-
Covet: "Oooh, that sounds all sorts of fancy. I'm so proud of you. " Kelsey told him giving him a pat on his chest, "Oh, Cadence asked if I'd watch Trick tomorrow, because Steph invited her to go out and do something with the ATL guys."
Alexithymiaa: "What? That's bullshit. Why can't we hang out with All Time Low? When do we get to hangout with hot band guys?" Brad whined, giving his foot a little kick like a child.-
Covet: "Apparently when you get to do work for hot band guys?" Kelsey said with a laugh, poking fun at him. "We can set it up to go pick up Trick from where ever they're at if you want to hang out for a little bit. I'm fine hanging back with the baby and what not." She told him trying to sate his tantrum.
Alexithymiaa: "No...." He said with a very overdramatic and disappointed sigh. "It's fine. We'll be the responsible adults. Again." He moved his hand to drape over his eyes, literally being the most dramatic a human can be. "Always us."-
Covet: "Hey, to be fair I think it's pretty hot when you're being all responsible adult like." She told him sticking her tongue out at him. "Just think about it like us pretending to play house" Kelsey gave a laugh.
Alexithymiaa: "Why can't we pretend to play house with Zack Merrick?" Brad asked, not removing his hand from over his eyes. "It's just crap that they're here hanging out all the time and we're never invited."-
Covet: "Awwh, hun it's okay. We'll get our time. I mean, we don't exactly ask them to hang out with us when we go get to do our fun things in LA with the people we know." Kelsey said to him trying to make a point.
Alexithymiaa: "So? That's in LA, this is here. It's different." He said with a whine, because he didn't care. Just selfishness. "We barely hangout anymore anyway. Only when she needs something. I should have said I was too booked to do their video."-
Covet: "No you shouldn't have. Because you know damn well that's not fair to her and that is just business." Kelsey told him. "We don't get to judge when we really don't get a hold of them for anything at all. If we start doing that and nothing changes, then we can maybe lightly complain. "
Alexithymiaa: "So what you're saying is we should invite them places so when they don't invite us, we get to complain?" He asked even though those were definitely not her words.-
Covet: "Not really, but that's how you're going to see it regardless." Kelsey told him as she gave her head a shake at him. "I'm just saying we should reach out more so that they'll at least consider us maybe?"
Alexithymiaa: "So then let's do it. Let's invite them to hangout or something. Get drinks, I don't know." He paused, trying to figure out what they could all do together. "...and you're still at a hard no on a foursome because she's your cousin, right?"-
Covet: "I like this idea a lot. I'm thinking of asking Felix if he'd be willing to do up a family picture for us to send out at Christmas time." Kelsey said, because of course this bitch was already thinking a head for christmas. Her head snapped down to look at him. "Diamond surrounded by steal solid."
Alexithymiaa: "Right. Got it. So that won't be something we invite them to..." Brad said quietly, a little disappointed. "You know... I could still do that. I'll just set a timer for the camera. We don't need Felix to do it for us."-
Covet: "I know you could, but this isn't about who gets to do it, it's about being supportive for the things they do, as they're supportive of us." Kelsey said, only slightly annoyed that she had to explain that much. "That's what family does." She told him reaching down to ruffle the hair that wasn't under his hat.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, but-" He cut himself off, sighing deeply. "Fine, but if his don't look as good as mine, we're not sending them out. We're going to retake them and I'm going to do it."-
Covet: "Okay, fine." She told him giving him another pat on the head. "Not next Thursday but the one after, we're going to be doing the sleep over thing for Connor and his friends too. If you're too busy to film a show that's fine, I am just going to need another adult there with that many boys."
Alexithymiaa: "Uhhh..." He paused, opening his calendar for minute to check aand see what he had going on. "I'm going to be working on prepro for The Weeknd, but I should be fine to shoot a webisode. I won't be able to get it edited before the end of the weekend, but we can definitely shoot it with his friends that night."-
Covet: "Okay I just didn't want to overload you where you're pretty much booked back to back." She told him leaning over to give him a kiss. " You know you're a pretty awesome Dad."
Alexithymiaa: -He craned his neck to kiss her back, grinning against her lips. "I'm wwell aware, yes." Cocky asshole. "I guess it just comes naturally to me. It's like a gift, ya' know?"-
Covet: Kelsey looked at him then gave him another pat, "Well at least you got one." She told him teasing.
Alexithymiaa: "HEY!" He interjected, giving her a playful shove. "I have many gifts. That's why I get paid the big bucks. If you don't think I'm gifted, then you're just dumb for still paying me to direct all your videos."-
Covet: "Oh don't worry I am well aware, though me paying you to direct my videos is more of a smart move than a dumb one. I assure you." She said with a grin.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah. Because I'm gifted." He shot back with an attitude, pouting a little like a child. "And now I'm a hot commodity. You just lucked out that you got in on the ground floor before I was too popular and in demand for you."-
Covet: "You know... gifted doesn't always mean what you think it means." Kelsey said then shook her head, " Oh I'm sure I could have weasled my way up the list to get you right where I wanted you." She said as she shifted so she could straddle his lap.
Alexithymiaa: "Payment comes in many forms." He said with a few quick nods, his eyes moving over her torso as his hands quickly came to hold onto her hips.-
Covet: "Yes it does, but unfortunately for something like this, I'm afraid I've left my wallet at home... so.. Unless you want to accompany me back there, I'm afraid this is as far as I can go." She told him being a tease.
Alexithymiaa: "What?" He asked hastily, not accepting this answer. "Well that's just ridiculous. I'd be more than happy to accompany you back home to get your wallet for proper payment." He said as he sat up, leaning his head in to kiss her.-
Covet: She kissed him back sweetly, holding his face for a moment, then went about climbing off of him as gracefully as she could in all her long legged glory. "That's awfully kind of you, and I appreciate you doing so. It's not safe out there for a girl all alone afterall."
Alexithymiaa: "And we just couldn't have you being all alone and not safe." He said, playing along with her little game. He swung his legs around and stood to his feet, shoving his phone into his pocket and looking her over in her hot outfit. "Well why are we wasting time then? Let'ss go."-
Covet: "Of course!" She said grabbing his hand as she nearly drug him out to his car so they could go back to the dorms for their shenanigans.
