Chapter VIII

I am going to be honest. At first, I thought that the sudden interest of Victoria towards me was yet another side-effect of the growth ray. Considering how untested that product was, I could not be really sure if it really does have an impact in emotions and personality, too. Because of that, I was cautious regarding her, checking about her actual intentions. Well, her affection was endearing... even that awkward moment when she one day "ambushed" me with a surprise hug-tackle from behind - thinking about that, it was actually pretty funny. At least, she looked more lively now, maybe a bit too lively, swarming me with her love - I think that's the correct word to use here. "But is this really okay? What are the chances that she is going to be that way?" - I had to make this clear, for once and for all.

"Victoria, we have to talk now." - I started in an objective manner.
"What might that be, Roland?" - she stepped closer to me. I stepped back.
"Listen. I see what's going on. Since you have tried out the growth ray, you are... different. It's cute that you seem to care about me a lot nowadays, but something concerns me. I am not really sure if these are really your true feelings, or it is influenced by that machine. Also, I am really thankful that you helped me with the experiment, but getting closer to each other in such a sudden way... I could not adjust myself to it, yet. I

hope you can understand this." - I waited patiently in the belief that I can put her on the defensive with these words. But I was wrong.
"Heh, I kind of expected this reaction, dear." - she smiled at me as an unmistakble way to put me off guard with her charm, but I am not that weak, even if she used the word "dear". But I left her to go on.

"You really... think that I only had eyes on you since I have tried out the device? No, I had eyes on you for a long time. In fact, I had a crush on you, the "cool guy" of the place. But I was just the smart girl with no other redeemable features, so I needed a reason to talk with you. That was the point when I have seen you, arguing with Ophelia. Facing with the powerful student council president was really brave from you. My time finally came. As I was really interested in the growth ray - and in fact, I still check out every new information regarding this - I could ask you, with your personal experiments. The device just gave me the boost of courage I needed. Being that big is really nice to your confidence, not to mention all that beautiful, long hair. Ehehe~"

Her confession shocked me to no end. So she was much more than I have seen her at first. It raised me several questions.

"Wait, so if you had these feelings, how could you even conceal them? From my point of view, you were just a shy girl. I seriously did not notice anything like that. I thought we are just partners and friends, nothing more, nothing less. How could you wait so long?"
"Patience is a virtue, dear." - She used that word again. - "I needed the perfect timing to make our relation stronger."
"By towering over me, covering me in hair? You have certainly odd thought about showing your love."
"Come on, admit it that you enjoyed that too. It was such a pretty scene!" - I cannot say she was completely wrong, but not absolutely right, either.
"I understand you, but can't we slow down this whole deal? We are great as partners and friends, I don't want a rushed relationship ruin this. Please, understand it." - I hoped she will get my point.
"Hmmm... alright, I will try my best! I hope my feelings weren't too overwhelming." .

She used my state of confusion again -  she is pretty good at it - to kiss me. During that, she put something in my hand.

"I have to leave now, sorry. We will meet later. Until that, goodbye! - and she ran off. I was looking at the stuff she gave to me. A cd, with the label "GREDOC" - short for "Growth Ray Experiment Documents". At least it's going to be useful...

The next day started out pretty boring. The only notable event was that Laura was absent - she is not the kind of person who gets sick often or skips classes just for the hell of it. But at that moment, I ignored that fact, labeling it as unusual but still nothing out of the ordinary. I have not suspected anything strange about that. During the afternoon, I was ready to go home, when I have seen Violet running towards me.

"Wait! Don't leave yet! Ophelia wants to talk with you right now!"
"With me? I have nothing to do with her. You certainly know what opinion she does have about me."
"I know, but it's really important!"
"I don't care."
"But you must go! She is the student council president, you cannot oppose her requests!"
"So... I don't have any other choice?"
"I'm afraid, you don't."
"Oh man..." - I sighed, and walked slowly towards the student council room. I certainly did not have a good feeling about this. Ophelia was already waiting for me. She had a confident face expression like usual.

"Finally, you have arrived. You really took your time, right?"
"Enough from the chitchat! Why did you call me?"
"Ahaha~ I have been waiting for this question! To be honest, I wanted to show you something. Something which will impress you..."
"I don't like the way it sounds, but alright. Just show it, and let me leave! I have better things to do than wasting time with you."
"Not so fast, no need to hurry!" - with this, she pulled out something from a well-hidden case I did not notice at first glance. "Allow me to introduce this wonderful - a little pause, to reveal the item in her hand, which looked like a ray-gun from an old school sci-fi movie - PORTABLE GROWTH RAY!"
"Seriously, what? Didn't you have enough of that?"
"Of course not! And now, let the fun begin Ahaha~! - she pointed the growth ray at herself, and turned it on.

I had ambivalent feelings. Part of me wanted to just run away as fast as possible, but my other half was curious about how much power could they stuff into that tiny gun. Eventually, I decided to wait.

While I was familiar with the growth mechanism, but in a closed room like that, it seemed to be even more imposing. She used her arms and legs to push the various furniture out of the way, as she filled more and more of the space. Especially her busts, which were expanded at an explosive rate, even compared to the rest of her growing body. I was pushed back into the corner with those soft breasts. If she would be at her normal size, proportionally, they could easily be the size of beach balls, maybe even bigger! Eventually, I was literally overshadowed by her giant figure. In fact, she grew so big that any further expansion would risk breaking through the room, and eventually the whole building. Obviously, even she would not do something that outrageous. She loomed over me, having a teasing expression on her face.

"Ahaha~ How do you like it? Did you expect that?" - she was trying to catch me, but her immense size did not left much space for her arms to move around, so I could avoid her first "attack".
"I cannot say that I did not have the feeling that something like that will happen." - even at times like these, I tried my best to stay calm.
"Oh, come on. You must have been IMPRESSED!" - this time, she tried to sandwich me between her noticable cleavage. My evasion was kind of imperfect this time, so I ended up on her massive, soft chest, like I am on a gigantic pillow.
"Do you really enjoy playing around with me? I mean, you have certainly made an impact with this, but bigger is not ALWAYS better" - while I was physically overpowered, but my wits and comments were still as sharp as usual.
"You are just jealous because you are so much smaller, admit it!" - because of her size, her movements were quite predictable, but as I did not have much space either, it was still pretty difficult. And then, I have

found something lying on the ground. The portable growth ray! I picked it up, gloriously pointed at myself, turned it on... and nothing happened. The ray hit me, but no glow around me, no warmth, and most importantly, NO GROWTH.
"Are you really that stupid? Do you think I would come up with a device which can make GUYS bigger, too, turning its power against me? It would ruin my fun!"

She had a point here. Also, I realized that I have already read about this in the Growth Ray Experiment Documents, too - the attempts at growing men were all ended with a failure. Apparently, because males and females have a different chromosome structure, which rendered the nanomachines of the device incompatible in men. Why didn't it come into my mind earlier? While I was wondering that, my concentration slipped. She grabbed me victoriously.

"Game over!" - she declared, but I am not the kind of person who just gives up because a giantess holds him.
"Alright, Ophelia, but how you are going to get out? I mean, you have grown too big to leave. You may be incredibly proud of your current size, but admit it - you are stuck, until you go down to your normal size.
"No worries, it's not like I have anything to do now. Until that, allow me to enjoy this moment. You know, it's actually wonderful! The way I fill all of this room, having control all over it reminds me how I have control over the majority of the school, too. Ahaha~ !

As she finished, the door opened. It was Violet, who was waiting for the student council president.

"O..Ophelia?!"
"Yes?"
"What's going on?"
"As you have seen, I am having fun with my friend."
"Friend? Who are you calling a friend?" - I was angered by her statement.
"But... you are stuck..." - the assistant girl was really worried.
"You will understand it, if you are trying it out once." - Ophelia winked.

"Okay. She seems to enjoy her power maybe a bit too much, and she teases the heck out of me. But it was a good experience, right? I hope it won't get worse..." - these were my final thoughts I can remember.
