- LOYALTY ABILITIES
- > LOCKDOWN (Stack)
- > COST: 10 CP
- > Have the crew drop what they're doing and assist in the loading of the tank, allowing it to fire at rapid pace at the cost of mobility.
- > TARGET WEAKPOINT (Winona)
- > COST: 10 CP
- > Have Winona target a weakpoint on a tank's armor, stunning the tank and allowing either a free shot on it from you or from nearby allies.
- > MARK TARGET (Ingrid)
- > COST: 30 CP
- > Have Ingrid track a targeted tank even after loss of visual contact. Accuracy against this tank is also increased for your tank and other allied tanks as well.
- TACTICAL MANEUVERS
- > THE NISHIZUMI HOOK
- > COST: 10 CP
- > A very quick charge to the side of an enemy tank then round their front, and then powerslide around to the other side, feinting the enemy tank’s turret traverse for a point blank shot to their side armor or their turret ring.
- > SHIMADA DEATH BLOSSOM
- > COST: 15 CP
- > If pursued by multiple tanks from multiple sides, simply power the tank forward, then start pivoting while maintaining the forward momentum, sending you sliding forward while spinning the tank around and firing at your targets. This defeats the disadvantage of a slow turret traverse, while simultaneously confusing your enemy. Although this is intensely difficult on the tracks and suspension.
- > The Shimada Sidesweep
- > COST: 15 CP
- > Ramming is a dangerous art. The Shimada-ryuu practices ramming down to a science. The Sideswipe is a precise charge into the corner of a tank from the side. This causes your target to spin out, and either present its vulnerable side or rear to your gun or cause it to veer off course into another area you intended to prod them into.
- > The Track Sweeper
- > COST: 5 CP
- > The Track Sweeper is a non-indicative way of referring to one of the Shimada-ryuu's well-practiced rams. This ram utilizes the full force and weight of a tank's frontal armor to snap open a tank's treads, immobilizing it.
- > Suppressive Burst – 10 CP
- > Fire a fast burst of three rounds from your main gun to pin a tank into cover, where hopefully you can quickly maneuver into position to flank, or other tanks can.
- > The Mudslinger: 20 CP
- > Perform either a quick powerslide or a long donut in place to splatter dust, sand, or mud into the eyes of any tanks directly next to you. Disengage or engage at will.
- > The Shimada Thrust – 30 CP
- > The Shimada Thrust is a modified Nishizumi Hook. Instead of using the sliding to brake to feint the turret traverse however, the driver will use that energy to propel the tank forward to ram the tank before it has a chance to do anything. Requiring precision and good skill at the controls, this is a tough maneuver, but is a far more survivable alternative to the Nishizumi Hook against foes who are used to countering it.
- > CORNER HOOK – 15 CP
- > When fighting in urban environments or in places with large immovable rocks, you can make a controlled crash into the corner of a building. Knocking the corner of your front armor can quickly spin you around and face your front armor to a surprised pursuer.
- > Stutterstep – 15 CP
- > Many good gunners will know how to lead a target on the move. Stutterstepping is the act of braking then starting forward repeatedly to trick their ability to lead and cause them to overshoot. Although this slows you down, this can buy you valuable time against veteran gunners.
- CO-OP MANEUVERS
- > NISHIZUMI SPECIAL (2 TANKS): 30 CP
- > Load in a blank shell, and propel your friendly tank into close combat with an opposing tank. The sudden shock will eliminate all but the most heavily armored tanks, usually at the cost of your propelling tank however.
- > The Bermuda Triangle: 30 CP – 3 tanks
- > The Bermuda Attack is one of the most infamous brawling techniques in the Shimada-ryuu. Requiring intense precision and coordination, the Bermuda Triangle Attack revolves around continuously maneuvering around a tank or a group of tanks in a shuffled but disciplined pattern, deceiving the tanks into thinking you're splitting up when in actuality you're attacking them all at once. Finish off the target or the final target in a group with a triangle attack from the front and to the sides.
