  1. Several years ago, a small group of men and women were born with strange and unusual traits. At first, these powers weren't actually anything too far-fetched. Simple things, such as glowing men or the power to see through the dark. As time went on, these bizarre and mysterious powers began to grow more and more complex, before spreading throughout the world like wildfire. These amazing abilities and super powers soon became the norm, until the average human became a complete minority in the world.

  3. Naturally, chaos ensued, and the world wound up becoming much like a classic comic book. Some took advantage of these powers and used them to get whatever they desired. Money, wealth, fame, no matter how dubious their intentions may have been. In time, people throughout the world started rising to use their powers to combat these 'villains' and became known as actual superheroes. Before long, being a super hero became an actual industry. A job.

  5. You just so happen to be an up and running student making an attempt to enroll at a prestigious academy designed to hone and develop super powers. Students are graded heavily based on power, as well as their personal ability. The better their grades, the better potential they have for becoming a higher-class student, opening doors to potentially becoming the next greatest superhero.
