- Alexithymiaa: (Aw yay. I want Bliss to meet him. I think they would get along well.)
- Tsaaq: ((YAY!))
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam reached over the back of his beat up pick up truck to grab his dufflebag from the back, pulling it over his forearm to rest on the denim of his jacket before he grabbed for the oversized cardboard box. He bounced slightly to reposition his backpack over his back before he started up the front walkway to the front door, carefully climbing the stairs blindly to make his way to the front door. He looked down at the box in his hand and then the door, attempting to balance on one foot and rest part of the box on his thigh to grab for the doorknob.-
- Tsaaq: ((He's just trying to open the door right >.> <.<))
- Alexithymiaa: (Yeah, his hands are just full and heavy box)
- Tsaaq: ((Okay good.))
- Tsaaq: She cautiously parked her prius near the garage and climbed out of her vehicle and walked up the path towards the OCH, with her phone in hand. Bliss’ eyes squinted at the sight of the male. She jogged up the steps up the porch, only tripping slightly and maneuvered around him. “Do you need help?” She asked. Bliss bit the inside of her lower lip as she wrapped up the fabric of her t-shirt around her hand and pushing it open.
- Alexithymiaa: -He lowered his foot to the floor as she pushed the door open, blowing out a deep sigh of relief as he smiled down at Bliss. "Thank you ma'am. I've got a few things I wasn't quite sure if I could handle." He stepped forward and into the house, placing the box down on the table and letting his dufflebag slide off his arm to the floor. "Do you live here?"-
- Tsaaq: “Ma’m?” Bliss repeated quietly with a bit of smirk and furrowed brows. “Well, you’re very welcome.” She looked around the empty living room then peeked down the hall. “No actually, um. I was coming to visit a friend. But now I’m not sure if he’s here.” Bliss answered him. “Elijah?” She called out with a tilt of her head, then heard nothing. “Oh dear, I should’ve called I suppose.”
- Alexithymiaa: -He brought his hand up to run his fingers over his hair as he took in the sights of his new living room, soaking it in as he listened to her. "Maybe. I'm sure it couldn't hurt to call now in case he's nearby. I doubt he'd want to keep you waiting." He moved to the front door, pushing it closed before turning to look at her as he slid his hands into the pockets of his denim jacket.-
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head and looked down at her cellphone. “Perhaps I should.” Bliss said as she held it to her ear and waited for a moment, after there was no answer she pouted and hung up. “I beginning to really think he isn’t here.” She sighed. “It’s alright. I actually prematurely, the blame falls on me.” Bliss lifted her head to look at him. “Are you new?” She asked. “Well clearly but-“ She stammered awkwardly.
- Alexithymiaa: -He nodded his head as he pulled his backpack off his back and let it rest easily down on the floor beside his duffle, his eyes lifting to look her over quickly. "Yes. I won't be officially starting classes until the Fall semester, but my mother thought it would be a good idea for me to be here prior to that to try to make some friends and get myself acclimated to the area."-
- Tsaaq: She raised a brow at him as he spoke. Bliss gave him another nod. “I’m Bliss Huberta Maverick, it’s lovely to meet you.” She did a slight curtsy. “Well if you’re living here in the off campus house, you should meet a lot of nice people who would love to become acquainted with you. There’s Eli, who’s very lovely then there’s Ash who’s…” Bliss stared off into the distance while thinking.
- Alexithymiaa: (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
- Alexithymiaa: -He reached over to extend his hand out toward her, smiling brightly at her. "Adam Young. It's very nice to meet you, Bliss. It turns out you're actually the very first person I've met here in Portland. Well, besides the gas station attendant, of course." He let out a small chuckle.-
- Tsaaq: Bliss shook her head for clarity and shifted her gaze to his hand. She early shook it. “Well it’s a pleasure to make you acquaintance, Adam.” She smiled at him. “Oh yeah? Perhaps I’m your Hagrid!” She said with a wave of her hand and a stiff grin. “Get it because Hagrid pretty much… nevermind.” She whispered as she lowered her head. “It would’ve made more sense if you lived in Talon… I’m the RA there.” She sighed.
- Alexithymiaa: -He recoiled hand to slip it back into the pocket of his jacket, nodding along with her reference. "No no, I get what you're saying there. Because Hagrid was basically the first to welcome Harry into the world of magic and whatnot. I guess you kind of are my Hagrid, hah." He rocked back uneasily on his heels, glancing around again. "Wow, you're the RA?"-
- Tsaaq: “I am!” She said, bouncing with excitement. “It’s a big deal to me because I’ve been trying to be an RA since I got here.” Bliss explained. “OH! You got my reference, good! That’s less embarrassing for me. Do you like those kind of things? Things like Harry Potter.”
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam smiled at her and reached for his backpack to swing it up and onto his back, his eyes turned up to her face as she spoke. "Yeah, I like Harry Potter. I actually have the first movie in my bag. It was always my favorite, so my mother got it on DVD for me a while back." He stepped on the backs of his heels to step out of his boots, sliding them toward the door with his foot before he grabbed for his dufflebag. "Your friend wouldn't have by any chancde mentioned where the open room was, would he?"-
- Tsaaq: “Oh that’s great, alright. I enjoy this relationship already. This friendship. You know what I mean.” She went on awkwardly. She pouted as she looked around. “Oh well… I’ve only been downstairs.” Bliss whispered then looked at the set of stairs. “I know it’s not down here so maybe we should check up there.” She pointed and placed one foot on the first step.
- Alexithymiaa: "Right, of course. Duh." He let out a small nervous laugh and grabbed for the box off the table, lifting it up and walking to the staircase behind her, following behind her to the second floor. "The email I got said it was a single room. I'm not even sure how many single rooms there are up here."-
- Tsaaq: Bliss went up the stairs carefully because she was well aware of her clumsiness. When she reached the top she looked around, walking past the couch and looking into the two rooms. “Well both of these rooms have two beds so it can’t be here.” She walked back to where the couch was and looked at the room that was only separated by a curtain. “Alright well that isn’t up to code, if this is your room it doesn’t even have a door. I would file a complaint.” She went on.
- Alexithymiaa: -He hauled his things up as he glanced around, moving to the room Bliss deemed to be not an actual room. He pushed the curtain aside with the box in his hands to look at the pull out couch and dresser, a smile lighting up over his face. "Wow... looks like a room to me. I've never had my own room before..." he trailed off and walked further into the room, placing the box down on the floor.-
- Tsaaq: She slowly turned her head to look at him with a raise a brow at him. “Well you should still try to talk to him about the door situation.” She whispered as she walked in behind him, the room was tiny and Bliss was appalled.
- Alexithymiaa: -He walked over to the pull out couch to drop his dufflebag down onto it, sliding his backpack off his back down beside it. "Well it's not like there's no privacy or anything. I'm sure I can make do, it's really not a big deal." He knelt down beside the box, flipping open the top flaps and reaching his hands inside to pull out an old tube tv, setting it down on the floor. His eyes looked up to Bliss again before back at the couch, reaching over to drag his things off onto the floor. "Here, you can sit if you want to."-
- Tsaaq: “Your bed is a couch?” She asked in a nasally tone as she stared at it. Bliss warily took a seat and looked around the room. “Well I guess this is what my mother meant when she referred to some houses she’s sold as: ‘cozy’” She whispered. “Well if you like it then I like it too.” She said with a smile.”I don’t think I’ve seen a television like that in quite a while.” She said pointing to it.
- Alexithymiaa: -He pulled a stack of polaroid pictures from the box and set them down on the floor before removing his fan and walking it over to the corner. "Oh, your mother sells houses? That's cool." He knelt down to plug the fan in before making his way back over to the box. "Yeah, it's the only thing I've got right now and I couldn't really afford to buy anything crazy for school. I needed to save up to buy my textbooks."-
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head as she looked at the television. “I understand how that can be.” She said stiffly. Bliss watched him put things up around the room. “Ah, yes. My family has had a real estate and renovation business for a while, for as long as I can remember I think.” She shrugged a bit. “So do you have all your classes set up yet?”
- Alexithymiaa: -He collected the pictures and walked to the wall beside his couch, beginnign to tack up the photographs of his friends and family from back home. "For the most part. I need to stop by the school when I'm here for good to pick up my official schedule for the Fall. I'm all enrolled though."-
- Tsaaq: “What’s you major?” She asked with a tilt of head. “Freshman classes were boring to me because most of them were core requirements. I practically did them in my sleep but, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. Our professors are actually very good.” She smiled. "They're very insightful."
- Alexithymiaa: -He leaned back to admire his work as he listened to her, moving back to his box to pull out the picture frame of his mothers, his brother and himself, setting it down on the floor. "Pre-law. But I actually have a few classes that I took this passed year for college credit so I get to forgo a couple of the basic freshman requirements like English 101 and Psych 101. It was a lot cheaper to take the classes as part of my senior curriculum."-
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head. “Wow, Pre-law. That’s ambitious are you going to a lawyer or a politician?” She asked with a smile. “Yeah I took a few college classes while I was still in high school too! I took them here, actually.” She leaned forward on the couch bed thing and to look at the framed picture on the floor. “Is that your family?” She asked as she pushed her glasses up her nose.
- Alexithymiaa: -He shifted to sit on his butt with his lanky limbs unfolding out in front of him. "A lawyer. I could never be a politician. It's such a dishonest profession despite how much I know we need them to run our government smoothly." He reached for the frame and nodded, looking down into it for a moment before passing it up to her. "Yeah, that's them."-
- Tsaaq: “A lawyer?” She repeated. “It’s funny that you say that, the job I want is all about making a commentary on politicians and all of that. Once I thought I could be a politician but I came to the same conclusion as you.” Bliss held the frame with both hands. “You all look so happy.” She whispered. “So you have two moms? Two moms are better than one.” Bliss tried to say jokingly.
- Alexithymiaa: (Really bitch?)
- Tsaaq: ((OKAY THAT JOKE WAS CUTE))
- Alexithymiaa: (SHES TRYING TO BE TOO COOL ABOUT IT)
- Tsaaq: ((SHE'S ALL FOR GAY RIGHTS BUT SHE'S NEVER SEE IT IN REAL LIFE SHE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO APPROACH IT SO LAME JOKES))
- Alexithymiaa: -He laughed and nodded his head as he crawled over to sit on the floor beside the couch, his neck craning to look down into the picture as he pointed. "Yeah, we're all pretty close. And that's my brother Gabe." He glanced down at his bags on the floor, letting out a nervous laugh. "Most of this stuff used to be his."-
- Tsaaq: She smiled as she stared at the framed photo. She looked to Adam. “Why?” Bliss asked with a blank expression. “Oh because you guys didn’t want to throw anything away, nevermind.” She trailed off. Bliss began to pout as if she were embarrassed.
- Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, things have just always been tight. You know how it is. And I don't mind getting Gabe's old stuff because he always had really cool stuff to begin with. I wanted it when it was his so it was only appropriate for me to get it when he grew out of it and whatnot." He slid back over to the box and pulled his pillow out, tossing it up and onto the bed before flipping the now empty box over and lifting the tv up to sit on top of it, positioning it carefully in front of the bed.-
- Tsaaq: “Ohhh.” She whispered. “I guess since I’ve been an only child for so long, I’m used to having my own things.” Bliss said with a shrug. “The closest thing I’ve had to siblings up until this point was my cousins and I always made sure they stayed away from my things.” She began to explain. “And I definitely didn’t want any of the things they had.” She giggled a bit. She looked to the tv again. “Well I sort of like this, it’s very retro.” She motioned her hands.
- Alexithymiaa: -He smiled at her before grabbing for his backpack, unzipping it and pulling his laptop out to set it down on the floor. "Didn't you ever get bored as a kid without any siblings? Who did you really play with at home?" He set his headphones down on top of his laptop, shifting it out of his way as he looked up to the tv. "Well thank you, Bliss. It's home I guess, right?"-
- Tsaaq: She lowered her head with a frown. “Yes, I was pretty lonely but I suppose I was alone for so long I got used to it.” Bliss started to explain. She sighed for a moment. “I played by myself mostly, even when I was around my cousins I didn’t play with them because I was so used to being by myself.” Bliss leaned over to look at his books “And yes, you’re welcome.”
- Alexithymiaa: -He placed a stack of Stephen King and John Grisham novels down on the floor beside him before pushing his now empty backpack away into the corner. "I don't mean to offend by any means, but that sounds like a really sad childhood if you ask me. I owe all of my fun as a kid to playing in the field with Gabe and the neighboring kids."-
- Tsaaq: Bliss lifted her head and stared off in the distance. “Yes, it does.” She said quietly in agreement and remained stoic for a little too long. “Well you’re lucky.” She said with an awkward grin.
- Alexithymiaa: -He nodded softly before pushing up to his feet. "I know I am. And I thank my family every day for everything I've got." He dragged his duffle over toward his dresser, letting it reside there before he walked over and sat down on the edge of the couch.-
- Tsaaq: “That’s actually very touching.” She smiled a bit. Bliss crossed her arms over her chest and puffed out her cheeks. “I should probably head back to Talon soon. If want to be able to go to sleep.” She said, standing up from the couch. “Besides I don’t want to intrude whilst you’re trying to get comfortable.”
- Alexithymiaa: "Oh, you're not a bother, really. Thought I should probably hit the hay if I want to get up early and go for an explorative run in the morning before I start setting any real roots down." He shrugged his jacket off his shoulders to let it fall down to the couch behind him before tugging his t-shirt up and over his head to reveal a long lean torso. He flopped back to lay across the couch, his eyes focusing on the ceiling. "Can't believe I'm finally here."-
- Tsaaq: She kept her lips as she began to step backward out of the room. “I’ll just leave you to it then, and maybe I’ll see you tomorrow and we’ll converse and things of that nature.” Bliss muttered before bumping her shoulder into the side of the archway and stumbling. She looked back at Adam as she winced. “I should um, probably start facing forward as I walk now… Goodnight!”
- Alexithymiaa: -He lifted his head up off the couch to smile and wave at her, catching her mishap with the wall. "Goodnight, Bliss. Please be careful on your way home."-
- Tsaaq: “I will do my best! You enjoy your resting.” She shouted to him as she went down the steps and out the front door. “Two moms are better than one, that was so stupid. I’m a mess.” Bliss said, going into her black prius and driving away from the OCH and heading to Talon.
