  1. [Installation]
  2. * Install Duckstation .apk from the channel or from Google Play
  3. * The first time you launch it, the initial settings of the emulator will be displayed, such as the interface theme, render or resolution. The initial settings are suitable for many devices, but sometimes it's worth trying to make some changes. Here are some recommendations:
  4. - GPU Render - for devices with GPU Adreno, it is better to choose the Vulkan render, and for devices with Mali or PowerVR - OpenGL;
  5. - Resolution Scale - it is recommended to choose 2-3x scale if your device is performant enough;
  6. - Aspect Ratio - it is recommended to leave 4:3, because most of the games will "stretch" on other values even with the Widescreen Hack parameter, especially visual novels.
  7. * Import any BIOS file from the "PS1 BIOS" folder, but we recommend using SCPH5502.bin - it is the latest one
  8. * Create a folder in your device memory for storing game files and select it in the emulator
  9. * Place the game files (.iso, .img, .cue) in the created folder
  10. Now you can lauch some games!

  12. P.S. In many games, it is recommended to set the digital stick mode. To do this, open the emulator menu during gameplay and select "Toggle Controller Analog Mode". A message about the successful mode change should be displayed.

  17. You will need a device with armv7 (32-bit ARM), AArch64 (64-bit ARM), or x86_64 (64-bit x86). 64-bit is preferred, the requirements are higher for 32-bit, you'll probably want at least a 1.5GHz CPU.
