- Covet: Kelsey was sitting on the couch with an iced coffee in her hand while she sat down reading a recent Bruce Springsteen, seeming to be pretty into what she was reading as her eyes never left the page.
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam stood in line waiting to order his black coffee, his hands jammed down into the pockets of his jeans as he rocked back on his heels. He was good with the patient waiting game. // Brad was wandering around the book store in search of something interesting despite the fact that he doesnt read recreationally, but he was here because Kelsey was here. He turned and made his way back over to the couch, hovering over Kelsey and doing a little antsy dance. "Is that good? Are you liking that?"-
- Tsaaq: Hayley was carrying a large amount of books around in her arms and still browsing. She crouched down a moment to glance at a lower shelf then glanced over to Adam while he stood in line. Her head turned once more.
- Covet: "I am, so far at least. It looks like he talks a lot about his childhood and his tense relationship with his dad. So, kind of relatable in some senses." She said looking up at him, "Did you find anything that interested you at all? She asked him."
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam stepped up to the counter when it was finally his turn to order, placing his coffee order before turning to look over at Hayley with her books. "Would you like anything?" // Brad sighed and fidgeted, shaking his head. "Nothing worth sitting down and reading. I don't know, maybe I'm looking in the wrong section or something, but eveyrthing seems so boring." He lifted his hands to rest on the top of his head, twisting to glance around the shop again.-
- Tsaaq: She attempted to reorder the books in her arms then glanced over to him. She shook her head hurriedly. "No. Just need to finish picking out the stuff I want to read." She replied as she went the look at the shelf again.
- Covet: "Hmm, Did you go look at the magazines at all? It's not a whole book, and the articles are short enough that they might keep your attention." She suggested to him, and noticed his fidgeting, "Do you want something to drink maybe?"
- Alexithymiaa: "Okay, I'll be over there in a minute." He smiled to her, stepping to the side to wait for his coffee order to come up. Reaching out to take the mug when they called his name, he turned around and walked over to her, looking at all the books in her arms. "You want all of those?" // Brad sighed and glanced in the direction of the magazine rack. "No... maybe I should. I don't know, reading just isn't fun for me." He raised his brows, dropping his eyes down to fall over Kelsey. "If I have any sort of caffeine, I'll definitely never be able to sit down and read."-
- Covet: "They make Decaf." She told him with a laugh. "Or, you could get a sugar free italian soda" She told him, then noticed Adam and Hayley also there in the shop with them. "Oh, Hayley's here. I should go say hi." She said marking her place, before taking another sip of her own drink.
- Covet: [FUCK SORRY BLISS x.x]
- Tsaaq: ((Kiki why.))
- Covet: [Because I got enter happy Y.Y]
- Tsaaq: Hayley nodded her head. "Yeah... I know it's gonna cost a lot but I'm not really doing anything else with my money." She shrugged her shoulders. "I'll get a bag to carry them in..." She trailed off and went to glance at the totes.
- Alexithymiaa: "It's a good hobby though. It doesnt cost any more than any other hobby. What did you pick out?" He asked, his eyes poised over the books as he lifted his cup to take a sip. // "I don't know what italian soda is, but it can't be too bad right?" He asked, twisting to look over at Hayley and Adam. "Yeah, we should go say hi. I don't think I've really seen them in a while."-
- Tsaaq: ((Should I post again.))
- Tsaaq: "I've got Stephen King's It, the exorcist... The Call of Cthulhu... Some YA vampire shit." She began to move through them. Her fingers stumbled and she almost dropped her books but Hayley caught them before they could hit the ground. "Shit." She whispered.
- Covet: "It's just syrup, half and half and club soda. They're really tasty." She told him with a smile, patting his leg as she sat her book on the table and got up so she could walk over to Hayley, "Hi Hayley, Wow.. that's a lot of reading material, Do you want some help with all of that?" She asked putting her hands out as Hayley caught the book.
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam put his hand out to help stop the books from falling, making sure to balance his coffee as well without spilling any because that would be bad. "Sounds like you've got some good reads there."He turned his attention to Kelsey when she walked over, giving her a smile. "Hi Kelsey. How are you?" // Brad raised his brows in clear interest. "Wow that sounds good. Do they do that here? Id try one." He followed Kelsey over to the two, giving a little wave. "Wow... are you going to read ALL those books?"-
- Tsaaq: She jumped a moment then saw it had been Kelsey and Brad. She smiled a little as she looked at the two. "Oh, hey guys." She greeted then went to rest some of her books on the top of a shorter shelf. "No, I've got it. It's fine." She replied. "Yeah, it'll occupy my time." She said softly. She looked to Brad and raised an eyebrow at him. "Yeah?" She answered awkwardly.
- Covet: Kelsey smacked Brad lightly on the chest, "Don't be rude, most of the people that come into this place enjoy reading and probably read just as much. Just because you don't." She said with a laugh. "Ignore him. We've been here for at least an hour and he can't find anything in here that he feels like reading. How are you guys doing?" she asked with a friendly smile.
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam gave a little uncomfortable laugh because stfu Brad, glancing to his right at a shelf of books before looking back to Kelsey. "Doing well. I was just going to pick out a book or two for myself. Or maybe I'll just share with Hayley since she made so many good decisions." // Brad moved his hand to his chest to rub his fingers where Kelsey had smacked him, a frown settling over his face. "Sorry. I guess this just isn't my cup of tea." He looked over to the counter where they actually sold tea, starting to laugh to himself.-
- Tsaaq: "I'm okay." Hayley replied, giving Kelsey a pleasant smile. She looked to Brad agan then over to her stack of books. "You know I don't mind sharing books." She finally spoke up again. She crossed her arms over her chest with whatever books she was still holding.
- Covet: Kelsey sighed then reached into her back pocket to pull out a neatly folded five dollar bill, "Go get your italian soda, before you get smacked again." She said then looked at Hayley and Brad, "Sorry... He's like a child sometimes. Most of the time. Okay all of the time." She told them with a laugh.
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam laughed a bit at Brad's punny joke, watching him walk off to get his beverage. "That's okay, I thought it was funny." He moved to slip his free arm around Hayley's shoulders, nodding his head. "I know. And we'll trade off so we can talk about them all when we're done." // Brad waved her off. "I don't need your money to get a drink." He walked off to the counter, standing in line to wait his turn and order for himself.-
- Tsaaq: "It was a little funny." Hayley shivered a moment, feeling her chest tighten as they spoke but she attempted to shake it off. "Sounds good to me." Hayley said to Adam as she turned to Kelsey. She shrugged. "If thats what you're into." She laughed a little.
- Covet: "Please don't encourage him, He'll just keep making more puns, then I have to listen to them." she said with a laugh, tucking her money back into her pocket. "That's so sweet, I wish I could do something like that with Brad. I mean, we kind of do with music a little bit, but It'd be fun to read the same things." Kelsey said with a pout.
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam dropped his eyes down to look at Hayley, giving a little shrug. "I think we like a lot of the same types of books. And I've always enjoyed book discussions. You can actually get into some pretty heated debates over books." He casually brought his mug up to take another sip of his coffee. // Getting his italian soda, Brad turned and made his way back over to their little group, holding up the cup. "You were right. This is delicious. How could I not have known about these before?" He asked, taking another sip. "What did I miss?"-
- Tsaaq: She slowly inhaled and exhaled, her eyebrows furrowing as she felt her heart pound in her chest. "Uh, yeah." She piped up. "I don't know. I've really gotten back into reading this summer since I don't really do anything." She cleared her throat, shifting uncomfortably. "Nothing." She answered Brad. "Just talking."
- Covet: "Nothing wrong with that, I'd happily trade you if I could. I've been... very busy.. and it's not looking to let up anytime soon. Kind of makes me miss, just hanging out with people." She said then looked at Hayley, "Are you okay?"
- Alexithymiaa: "Busy is always good though." Adam nodded, turning his attention down to Hayley, giving her shoulder a rub when Kelsey inquired if she was okay. // Brad took a sip of his soda as he listened, trying to make sense of where they were in the conversation before looking down at Kelsey. "It's a good kind of busy though, right? Like.. you're happy with it?"-
- Tsaaq: "Busy with like... Music stuff?" Hayley asked her, powering through the unpleasant feeling that was settling just below her ribs. She exhaled again and nodded her head. "Yeah I'm fine." She answered before looking to Adam. "I wish I was busy."
- Covet: "Mhhm. I just sent off the album this week of some of the stuff I've had done. Next up is another video shoot, all of this is supposed to happen before classes start." She told Hayley, keeping an eye on her before looking at Brad, "Of course I'm happy with it. It's fantastic, I just enjoy my normal time with people too." Kelsey explained. "So...Pumpkin came by the dorms the other night with Ozzie... and we were thinking about you... I thought it might be nice if we could all hang out sometime, but she said that you probably wouldn't be all that happy with her around, Would you be okay with that one of these nights? We could find something to keep you busy for a night." Kelsey offered with a friendly smile.
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam finished off his coffee and stepped over to put the empty mug on the counter before returning to his spot next to Hayley as he listened to Kelsey. "Well that sounds nice." // Brad smiled, relieved that she hadnt said she regreted her music decisions. "We could plan a little game night or something?" Brad suggested, trying to gauge Hayley's reaction.-
- Tsaaq: She squirmed a bit. "Oh..." She trailed off at the mention of Pumpkin. "It's not that I don't want her around. I figured she was busy with the baby." She said quietly then shrugged. "Yeah." She nodded her head then turned to look at Adam. "I wouldn't mind hanging out." She said. She rose her eyebrows. "Oh, yeah. Game night sounds cool if you guys want to do that it's fine."
- Covet: "So long as everyone understands that Monopoly is not on the table. That never ends well." Kelsey said with a laugh, "Oh, Well...Maybe one of these nights I can offer to take Lulu off her hands so that you guys can catch back up too."
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam listened to Kelsey's nice offer, putting his hand on Hayley's back. "I think that's a good idea. And that's really nice of you, Kels. I'm sure Pumpkin would appreciate that." // Brad smirked, flicking his hair from his face. "Well considering Monopoly never stays on the table for very long anyway? I think that's fair."-
- Tsaaq: "Oh yeah I definitely don't want anything to do with monopoly but everything else seems fun." She felt the panicked sensation finally fade. She pouted a moment. "Oh I mean... I don't mind being around Lulu either... But we could do that too yeah." She shrugged. "I think we've got some games laying around the house somewhere..."
- Covet: "We could always have a girls night, Lulu included too. Like a sleepover?" Kelsey said her eyes brigtening up. "Do you guys have something like, trivial pursuit, or what's that other one people are always talking about.. with the cards."
- Alexithymiaa: "Oh... yeah..." Adam nodded, just now realizing he wasnt actually invited. "I think you're talking about Apples to Apples?" He asked, trying to be helpful. // Brad waved his hand at Adam, sipping on his soda. "Apples to Apples is for children. You need to be playing Cards Against Humanity. That is hilarious and the more people you have playing, the funnier it gets."-
- Tsaaq: Hayley cringed a little. "Oh... I can't remember the last time I've actually had a sleepover. Well. yeah sure. Just give me a day and we'll do it." She smiled again. Hayley waved her hand at Brad. "Adam wouldn't want to play Cards Against Humanity. Apples to Apples is fine. It's basically the same thing."
- Covet: "Of course, take all the time you need. Should I let Pumpkin know or do you want to do that?" She asked, then nodded at Brad, "We can play Cards against humanity another time. I'm okay with Apples to apples." She said taking his hand.
- Alexithymiaa: "Why wouldnt I want to play Cards Against Humanity?" He asked genuinely, never actually playing the game, but he just assumed it was like any other family game. // Brad took Kelsey's hand gently, finishing off most of his soda except a couple of sips before holding it out to her. "Would you like some before I finish it?"-
- Tsaaq: "You can tell her... I'm bad at texting people and.... Communication." Hayley said to Kelsey. She turned to Adam and shook her head. "It's just not your style. You wouldn't have fun if you played. I like to think I know you pretty well..."
- Covet: "I've been told it's pretty.. um.. Graphic?" Kelsey said hesitating then nodded her head, "Yeah, we'll go with graphic." She laughed, "Okay, I'll let you know what she says and we can figure out a date and all that. For the game night and everything too." She said with a smile, then looked at Brad who sucked down the italian soda, "I'm good, I still have my coffee over there at the table, of course it might be mostly melted and watered down by now."
- Alexithymiaa: "Oh..." Adam trailed off, wanting to drop that subject there. "Well sure. Sounds like it'll be a fun night." He smiled before looking down at Hayley's books. "Are you ready to check out?" // Brad finished off the last couple of sips since Kelsey said she didnt want another, placing the empty glass on the counter. "Both Talon and the off campus house are pretty good places for a game night. We can get some cool tunes and just get a bunch of games going. It should be a fun night."-
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head slowly. "See?" She said to him very-matter-of-factly. "Yeah just let me know the date and stuff. Game night sounds fun and stuff." She smiled lightly then grabbed then entirety of her books. "Yes please." She replied. "See you guys."
- Covet: "Of course! We'll keep from holding you guys up, it was great to chit chat, I can't wait to hang out." Kelsey said all happy like and gave them both a wave as she looked to Brad, "I just got to get my book and drink and we can head out. I already paid for it."
- Alexithymiaa: "Okay. Have a good night." He waved to Kelsey and Brad before turning away with Hayley to lead her up to the front to pay for the books. "Do you want me to bring those out to the truck for you?" // Brad furrowed his brows, waving at the two as they walked off. "Wait, if you already paid for the book why did we stay here?" He asked, slowly looking down to her.-
- Covet: [BECAUSE BRADLEY.. IT'S A NICE ENVIRONMENT.. GOD FORBID YOU ABSORB SOME OF THIS KNOWLEDGE JUST BY BEING AROUND IT!]
- Tsaaq: She shook her head. "I'm gonna try to carry them myself.' She said to him as she began to load up her books onto the counter so the cashier could ring everything up. "You can go warm up the truck while I finish up if you want?"
- Alexithymiaa: (Dont be so vapid. That would never happen.)
- Covet: [I can dream...dammit.]
- Covet: "Because, I like it here?" Kelsey added as they walked out the door raising an eyebrow at him, practically saying 'duh' without actually saying it.
- Alexithymiaa: "Sure. But if you need help getting the books out to the car, just call me and I'll come back inside and help you." Adam leaned in to plant a kiss on Hayley's cheek before turning to walk out of the little book store and out to his truck to start the engine and warm it up a bit. // Brad smirked, moving his hand to the top of Kelsey's head to give her blonde hair a little pet. "Okay Kels." He said in a higher voice as they walked out together to head back to Talon.-
