[Variant] SJ's Bio (RP Purposes)

Shade's existence dates back to the early days of the Black Death. He was born in 1337, the exact day and month being lost after a long time. On his 13th birthday, he awakened the power of Darkness. To many, this power was a sin, yet to him, it was a blessing. For the past 13 years of his life, he was considered an outcast, a failure, in the eyes of all but his own parents. With that power, he felt more confident, and felt he would be fine, though he was soon infected with, however was miraculously cured of, the Black Death. However, in fear that he would infect them at some point, his family sent him away to a far away field for him to die. After a month and a half however, he was before his parents again, completely healthy and uninfected, as if he was ressurected from the dead. This further ostracized him from everyone else, as they thought of him as a demon. On his 28th birthday, he realized that he looked no different than on his 26th. This continued onwards for many years, which allowed him to see the deaths of his family members, the few friends he had, his significant other, all of them, he watched their last moments, as they aged on, he was the same. With his abilities, he decided that it would be best to simply do what he wanted, which lead to many problems in his psyche. On his 120th birthday, which at that point he lost track of what day his birthday even was, he obtained a sword that never broke. This sword had other capabilities but, it was something that served as a powerful beacon to Darkness, drawing the Darkness to him, while also possessing a number of other powers. Eventually, he gave up on being serious about anything, allowing him to do anything and everything without neither guilt or remorse. This would later lead him to obtain numerous titles and nicknames such as, Grey Phantom and Dark Harbinger.
