  1.
  2. You are Urist McBoatmurder, a dwarf of Boatmurder. You are hunting Ye Flask, a relic lost through time and space. You enter the mines searching for Ye Flask and see it is not there. You search further into the mines and find that you have been wrong about one thing; Ye Flask is indeed here!
  3.
  4. Ye Flask: "I am back!
  5.
  6. > You get ye flask.
  7. You grab your flask from its place on the table and take a drink. It tastes foul, but you know it must be good to you.
  8.
  9. > You drink more.
  10. You drink the foul liquid down to the last drop, gagging on the taste.
  11. Your strength ebbs and your headache grows worse. You fall back in your chair, eyes darting about the room.
  12. Not drunk enough, you seek more alcohol, only this time you seek the darkest corner of the cellar and the most obscure bottles.
  13. You find one that might work...
  14.
  15. > You dRINK.
  16. You reach for the bottle, but are stopped.
  17. "This is all we got left, kid."
  18. The bartender, dressed in leather armor, stands before you. He has a great axe slung across his back.
  19.
  20. > You drink.
  21. You throw the bottle in your hand at the man. It shatters on his shoulder, sending glass shards into his face. He lets out a yelp and falls back, the axe flying from his grasp.
  22.
  23. > You drink.
  24. The bartender rolls to the side, dodging your bottle.
  25. He kicks at your shin, causing you to fall on your side.
  26.
  27. > You drink.
  28. The bartender rolls back, grabbing a bottle from behind the bar.
  29. He holds the bottle to your lips.
  30. "Sip it, kid."
  31.
  32. > You drink.
  33. You close your eyes, drinking deeply.
  34. The liquid slides down your throat, sending waves of warmth through your body. You've never felt anything so wonderful in your entire life.
  35.
  36. > You drink.
  37. You open your eyes, finding the bartender staring at you. He grabs your head and pours more alcohol down your throat.
  38. It burns, but you keep drinking until the bottle is empty.
  39.
  40. > You drink.
  41. The bartender throws the bottle to the floor, and grabs you. He lays you on the table and proceeds to slice off pieces of your clothing, which he tears into strips to bandage your wounds.
  42.
  43. > You drink.
  44. The bartender picks you up, and slings you over his shoulder. He makes his way to a door in the back of the room.
  45.
  46. > You drink.
  47. The bartender lays you on the table. You open your eyes to find yourself surrounded by ladies, all bandaging your wounds. One puts a strip of cloth on a cut on your arm.
  48.
  49. > You drink.
  50. You are brought to the door of a house and laid on the floor. A man in a red cap looks down at you.
  51. "We thought you were a miner come to take our lard," says the man.
  52.
  53. > You drink.
  54. "I'm not a miner," you say, closing your eyes.
  55. "A wizard, then. We don't take kindly to wizards stealin' our lard."
  56. "I'm no wizard.
  57.
  58. > You drink.
  59. The man grunts and closes the door. You lie on the floor and stare at the door. You hear a low voice speaking in an old language.
  60. "This man's alive, even so," says the man.
  61.
  62. > You drink.
  63. You sit up and look at the bandages on your arm. Your wound is gone, and your headache is gone. You stand, feeling much better. You're about to leave when you hear the door open again.
  64.
  65. > You drink.
  66. You walk out of the room and into the hall.
  67. A miner stands in front of you, a coal sack over his head.
  68. "Good... good evening, sir," he says.
  69.
  70. > You drink.
  71. "Evenin', miner," you say, sitting down at the miner's table.
  72. The miner sits down across from you. The bandages on his face make him look rather savage.
  73.
  74. > You drink.
  75. You stand and look out the window. The sun is setting.
  76. "Where do you work?" you ask.
  77. "Five men are trapped down the mine," says the miner.
  78. "How far is it?"
  79.
  80. > You drink.
  81. The miner's eyes widen.
  82. "Two days," he says. "Two days of creeky crawling through tunnels, and we're trapped."
  83. You stand and walk towards the door.
  84.
  85. > You drink.
  86. "Wait!"
  87. The miner runs after you, holding out his arms.
  88. "Please, sir! Please don't leave us! We's hungry, and it's dark, and the 'mines is dangerous!"
  89.
  90. > You drink.
  91. The miner falls to his knees.
  92. "Go," you say.
  93. "Thank you, sir!" he says.
  94. You walk out of the room, down the hall, and out the front door of the inn.
  95.
  96. > You drink.
  97. You step outside and find yourself in a town. People move about on the street. A few sit at tables outside of buildings, drinking. An old man walks by, pushing a cart full of wares for sale.
  98.
  99. > You drink.
  100. You walk down the street, looking at the buildings. Suddenly, a woman walks out of the building in front of you.
  101. "I'll be with you soon," she says.
  102.
  103. > You drink.
  104. You hear the woman's voice again, and you find yourself on your knees, vomiting.
  105.
  106. > You drink.
  107. You look up, and see the woman. She holds a noose in her hands, made of rope.
  108. "I'll be with you soon," she says.
  109.
  110. > You drink.
  111. "I'll be with you..."
  112. The woman begins to choke as the rope around her neck grows tighter and tighter.
  113. The rope twists and she begins to choke, but somehow she continues to talk.
  114.
  115. > You drink.
  116. You stand and walk away.
  117. "I'll be with you soon," she says.
  118. You take a deep breath, calming yourself, then begin to walk down the street.
  119.
  120. > You drink.
  121. "I'll be with you..."
  122. You hear the woman's voice again, and you feel a sharp pain in your chest. You gasp and put your hand against your heart, breathing heavily.
  123.
  124. > You drink.
  125. You walk down the street, then turn down a side alley. You see two people entwined on the ground. You walk over to them, drawn to the scene.
  126.
  127. > You drink.
  128. You kneel down and pull at the woman's hand.
  129. "Leave me," she says. "I'll be with you soon."
  130.
  131. > You drink.
  132. The woman's eyes roll back into her head as her neck stretches back, breaking. Blood trickles down her throat.
  133. The woman's head lolls to the side as she begins to fade from your vision.
  134.
  135. > You drink.
  136. "I'll be with you..."
  137. The woman's face becomes that of a demon's.
  138. "I'll be with you..."
  139. Her mouth gapes open, and a roar escapes her throat.
  140.
  141. > You drink.
  142. The woman's face becomes that of a corpse, but the eyes are still those of a demon.
  143. The woman's body lurches up and her mouth gapes open, but this time there is no roar.
  144.
  145. > You drink.
  146. "I'll be with you..."
  147. Her body is set alight. The flames quickly engulf her, and the blackness overtakes her face.
  148.
  149. > You drink.
  150. "I'll be with you..."
  151. "Is someone there?" you ask.
  152. The silence continues. You decide to move on.
  153. "I'll be with you..."
  154. "I'm not staying here,"
  155.
  156. > You drink.
  157. You continue down the dark path. After a few hours, you come across a cabin in the woods. It seems almost fairy tale-like.
  158.
  159. > You drink.
  160. The cabin in the woods looks almost like a scene out of a fairytale. A porch stretches across the front, supported by delicate pillars.
  161.
  162. > You drink.
  163. The door to the cabin is wood, with a classic pattern of a hexagon with two vertical lines above and below it. The design is beautiful, and has always intrigued you.
  164.
  165. > You drink.
  166. As you stare at the cabin, a crack appears in the middle of the door. A second later, a howl penetrates your ears. You turn to look, and see a large creature standing behind you.
  167.
  168. > You drink.
  169. "Leave me," the beast says. "I'll be with you soon."
  170. You look at the beast, and something about it is almost serene.
  171. "I'll be with you..."
  172.
  173. > You drink.
  174. "I'll be with you..."
  175. The howl of the werewolf echoes through the forest once again. The beast takes a step forward, and you feel fear grip your heart.
  176. "Leave me,"
  177.
  178. > You drink.
  179. You stare at the beast, and something about it seems familiar. You look down, realizing that this creature is you, ten years in the future. The creature before you is how you'll become: a brutal killer.
  180.
  181. > You drink.
  182. "I'll be with you..."
  183. You take a deep breath, trying to focus. In front of you is the cabin, with the beast standing outside.
  184. "I'll be with you..."
  185.
  186. > You drink.
  187. You take a deep breath, and begin to make your way towards the cabin. You walk slowly, trying not to alert the creature.
  188. "I'll be with you..."
  189.
  190. > You drink.
  191. The ground becomes sticky under your feet, and you hear the leaves around you rustle. Suddenly, a growl penetrates your ears, and you turn to face your fate.
  192. "I'll be with you..."
  193.
  194. > You die.
  195. "I'll be with you..."
