personality : seulbi is the opposite of controlling, she’s content to just go where life takes her. you wouldn’t want to engage in an argument with seulbi, she is fierce and willing to throw hands if she thinks she’s right. seulbi struggles to accept the bad in people, or blatantly ignores it outright. especially if someone is close to her, they can do no wrong. she is very attached to younger trainees/members, almost like a mother figure to them due to her experience. seulbi is always looking for attention, and she tends to get really clingy if she doesn’t think she’s getting enough. she doesn’t have to hog the spotlight, but she always seeks validation from her members/the other trainees.

background : seulbi’s family was not necessarily affluent, but her grandparents paid for her to attend school in the united states because she seemed to be very smart from a young age. though her parents wanted her to go to college, after graduating she wanted to pursue her greatest passion, music, so seulbi signed with yg entertainment when she was 17 years old and trained with the members of “future 2ne1” until the group was replaced with blackpink. she stayed on with the company to learn music production/songwriting, and thought she could be satisfied writing music only. she was approached by a representative from mirage media to give idol training a second try. as an older trainee, less skilled in dancing, seulbi is nervous that she will not be able to keep up with the younger trainees, but also hopes her experience will help her to succeed at mirage.
