===What is a DRPG?===
Also called 'blobbers', these RPGs are almost universally party- and turn-based, with player characters moving on a grid as a single unit. Ex: Wizardry series up until 7, Might and Magic 1-5

A seperate branch of DRPGs based on Dungeon Master plays in (semi-)realtime.
Ex: Might and Magic 6-8, Ultima Underworld, Legend of Grimrock
