  15. *What do you think of the idea that there is a kind of "dump switch" whereby the audio got briefly muted while it was being broadcast live?*
  16.
  17.
  18.
  19.
  20.
  21.
  22. Would that explain what we see?
  23.
  24.
  25.
  26.
  27.
  28.
  29. In my view it wouldn't because we hear (his?) laughter while his mouth is moving (and thus although we hear laughter _he is supposedly muted_ - and that seems like a contradiction).
  30.
  31.
  32.
  33.
  34.
  35.
  36. *How to resolve that contradiction?* _It could be resolved if there is a (brief) delay to the "live" broadcast._
  37.
  38.
  39.
  40.
  41.
  42.
  43. A person in the control room may have heard something that required muting and so he muted the presenter thus we heard the start of his laugh but not the words that followed which were intended to be muted.
  44.
  45.
  46.
  47.
  48.
  49.
  50. However - one of the problems with that is he was unmuted in a very precise way. At no time did we miss out on anything he said that was intended for us to hear.
  51.
  52.
  53.
  54.
  55.
  56.
  57. As in - he would have been "unmuted" just at the moment he began to speak words which did not need muting. Thus very precise and intentional. If it is simply the quick reflexes of someone in a control room then perhaps the first word could have been partially muted/cut/obscured.
  58.
  59.
  60.
  61.
  62.
  63.
  64. Then again - if the "live delay" was significant (such as a few minutes) then that could have allowed for a very precise muting and unmuting. But even in that case it's odd because although he is muted we do hear him laughing. His mouth is moving while we hear laughing.
  65.
  66.
  67.
  68.
  69.
  70.
  71. And the fact he would NEED to be muted in the first place is even more odd! Whatever would need muting?! It does not make sense that his excitement would be muted because they wanted to convey as much excitement as possible.
  72.
  73.
  74.
  75.
  76.
  77.
  78. If the "live delay" was not that long (such as only a few seconds - enough time to cut the feed or switch it to something else) then the reflexes from the control room would need to be very good. But if the "presenter" is such an amateur then what's to think the control room would be any more professional?!
  79.
  80.
  81.
  82.
  83.
  84.
  85. The "muting" was very brief and definite and despite it occurring we continued to hear the crowd (thus the crowd seems to be a separate audio layer) and although his mouth was moving we heard no words except for his "laugh" and that "laugh" cannot have come from isolation - it needed to come from somewhere.
  86.
  87.
  88.
  89.
  90.
  91.
  92. Some people suggest he is standing in front of green-screen. I don't know how to determine that for a fact. Certainly, a large number of "presenters" indeed work in front of green-screen so that is possible but whether or not this is green-screen should not make any difference. (It would be a distracting detail from the oddity of the muting and the oddity of the laughter and from the oddity of being in that position in the first place.)
  93.
  94.
  95.
  96.
  97.
  98.
  99. All in all *this portion of the purported "live" webstream is very important because if what we are seeing is technically infeasible for a "live broadcast" (i.e., a webstream via YouTube) then we have a good reason to doubt the _entire event itself_ even happened! (as we have been led to believe, anyway).
