- Jump 218: Captain SNES
- >Nine of Swords (Cruelty), reversed: Attempting to avert a shameful or regrettable act.
- By 'a shameful act' I basically mean most of the Captain SNES plot because it's stupid and I want it to not be stupid. Funny, sure, but stupid when looked at from a perspective of it not just being a webcomic anymore.
- >Identity: Drop-In
- >Drawbacks: Halcyon Days (0)
- So my trolling of villains (and, to a much lesser degree, basically everyone) is remembered. How nice.
- >Can't Catch Me (Free, Drop-In)
- And it's definitely not just because I've got a thousand eyes wandering around Videoland. Hey, someone's got to keep an eye on things.
- >That Damn Jumper! (700, Drop-In)
- You know, I just realized I've based my build around basically being able to see everything while nothing can see me (blending in, immunity to scrying, immunity to precognition, etc). That's a little too amusing.
- >A Small Bell (Free, Drop-In)
- Nice little souvenier. Why not?
- >Mega Net (500, Drop-In)
- Having anonymous, high-speed internet from basically anywhere is rather useful.
- >All There In The Manual (300)
- While clairvoyance could probably give me the same if I wanted it, there's just something more useful about having it in black and white if I want to read it. Or want to pass it to someone else so they know what the heck is going on.
- >Making Friends In All The Wrong Places (0)
- Hey, I still have companions. I'm not going to leave them behind.
- So, wait. Eyes of the Seer, do they actually fly around Videoland, or just its internet? I'm not clear on that.
- Either way, clairvoyance rocks. Because I'm going to find Alex, track him down, and train him how to pull his shit together and be a proper gamemaster. Everything that progresses from that is just going to be a matter of the butterfly effect.
