  4. Attendees: 2 (Zabo, Teuicui)
  5. Fluff: A human supremacist group of diverse origins has kidnapped one Nagual, believed to be the possessor of a slab of moonrock with Ixchel’s claw marked upon it. The duo will enter a castaway village of humans to save it.
  6. Risk: Highly Dangerous (Repeated permanent nerfs, stupidity or repeated misdeeds may lead to death, general rule of: 1 for permanent nerf, 2-3 for temporary nerfs, 4-5 for nerf for the event duration, 6 for nothing)
  7. Duration: Short (3 ~~ 4 hours)
  8. Synopsis: The group enters deep within one of the woods surrounding the region that was once Lengsel, where it’s rumored to have a group of human supremacists whose desperate measures involve blaming whatever wrong happenings have occurred recently on those with different races.

  10. Being limited to a desolate part of the forest, they often catch only the unaware travelers that accidentally step on too close. However, having kidnapped one Nagual closer to the place where the two Nagual live, they plan to burn it in a pyre along with a prized possession: A slab of what’s said to be a slab of moonrock, with Ixchel’s claw mark on it.

  12. This immediately begins a timer on the event, as soon as they arrive on the spot. The whole village is formed by circularly spread houses, which at the center rests the pyre. Currently, the whole village seems to be chanting in religious tone, a chorus of voices echoing around the place as the sacrificed Nagual is brought from a distant small abbey.

  14. The screams of the Nagual are heard from far away, and there seems to be two caravans headed for the town. Unable to distinguish which one of the heavily guarded caravans to attack, each one with three or four guards present around it, the duo will have to choose which one to save. Attacking the front carriage will save the Nagual, where attacking the back carriage will save the slab of moonrock.

  16. Whatever arrives to the town center is immediately guided by a priest to the burning pyre. The group should try to get through the mass of citizens while it is taken to the center of town. Should they fail or succeed, the following will happen:

  18. A fight will ensue. A dangerous (1 for perm, 2-4 for temps, 5-6 for nothing) fight will ensue against the priest and a few following magi guards (in the form of Duratus). Winning this fight means that one of the guards will escape with the wanted being, and losing it means that the guards will be killed, but the priest will only be wounded slightly.

  20. Upon inspecting closer to the central pyre, they shall notice that it is ridden with multiple bodies, all of those probably belonging to Ookamis, Naguals and Kitsunes that the village has most likely killed before they picked up on that last one.

  22. The priest will throw whatever it is that they failed to save (Either the hostage nagual or the slab of moonstone) in the pyre in order for it to burn. This starts an arbitrary IC timer, where they have to get through the priest.

  24. Should any of them be smart enough to analyze the pyre, they shall know that there is a hidden soul gem inside of it, which stores the souls of the sacrifices as energy. It isn’t exactly visible, so unless they decide to destroy it or analyze it further, they shouldn’t be able to spot it and retrieve it.

  26. Turning around, they’ll see that the whole village is inbound for their blood for killing the priest. Should they continue, they’ll engage on a borderline unwinnable fight - Just a Summon Duratus against the two of them. Should they win, they’ll slaughter the village. Should they lose, they’ll roll twice -- Rolling a 1 and another low (3-) number will result in a perm.

  28. This village fighting scene is supposed to go down as their way for devving Ixchel’s rage, in which they’ll be forced against overwhelming odds in a village filled with people. This is basically where they can get easy dev for Wrath, Pandemonium Drive or whatever they want, since this is intended to be just this -- A carnage scene.

  30. With this, they escape the village, gone back on their way with whatever they could manage to rescue. It’s valid to say that if they don’t hide the slab or the rescued nagual well enough, they’ll suffer risks of losing both.

  32. Possible Rewards:
  33. Slab of Stone, enchanted with Ixchel’s mark (Dev material, but too brittle to be used in crafting)
  34. Soul Gem, used for storing energy through the absorption of Souls (Material, hard to get?)
