  4. since no one was able or did not have the wedges to release the moons of
  5. madness translated the guys BR did it, especially Dicky from TRADUÇOES pkg,
  6. let's play it without even having released and translated it yet
  7.
  8. > Lets address this right now, Moons of Madness was released on the PC on
  9. > October 22, 2019. Seeing as it a PC game that's using Unreal the assets,
  10. > scripts, etc are easy to nab from the PC version.
  11.
  12. > Most people who would have the "know how" to do it wouldn't really care about
  13. > wasting their time doing it and/or wouldn't want to be publicly associated
  14. > with it.
  15.
  16. ### AlAzif (01/22/2020):
  17. More like "No one cared enough to do it." Like how they said "for those who
  18. didn't believe" everyone who had a clue knew it was possible. Talking to LM
  19. they started off complaining that they needed "unreal keys" to do anything
  20. even though everything is already decrypted...
  21.
  22. > LM had talked to me previously about how they were trying to get him to leak
  23. > the UE4 engine for PS4 to them because they were convinced they needed it.
  24.
  25. ### AlAzif (01/22/2020)
  26. Like open with PKG editor, export gp4, open pak file with unreal tools (these
  27. are free online), repack file, remake PKG with previously exported gp4
  28.
  29. > Just describing the rigorous process they'd have to go though to modify the
  30. > game. They may even have to open IDA/Ghidra or a hex editor maybe *gasp*
  31.
  32. ### AlAzif (01/22/2020)
  33. And everyone is still thinking they're going to backport the ones with default
  34. passcodes the same way lol
  35.
  36. > Reiterating the point that the passcode will not decrypt the eboot. So if the
  37. > .pak file is encrypted you won't even be able to get into that either. An
  38. > encrypted file is as good as having a file containing all 0's without the
  39. > key. HOWEVER in test/devkit files the eboots are NOT encrypted.
  40.
  41. ### nelsinhok2 (01/22/2020)
  42. The one who leaked the PKG was the French, what was done by the Brazilians was
  43. the translation patches! the Brazilian programmers asked questions that the
  44. devs didn't even know how to answer! there is evidence of that! the LM is what
  45. was most lost in the conversations ... and I say more, ja these passcodes are
  46. already in the hands of the Brazilians, so no one is safe anymore! "in the
  47. private" will no longer exist
  48.
  49. > The packages were "leaked" by some official Sony tester that had his server
  50. > misconfigured, it allowed access to anyone and the link spread like crazy.
  51. > Because these were testkit packages the eboots were not encrypted and thus
  52. > these could be "backported" "Brazilian programmers asked questions that the
  53. > devs didn't even know how to answer!" they sure didn't ask me as I'll show
  54. > you in the one conversation I had with them. "these passcodes are already in
  55. > the hands of the Brazilians, so no one is safe anymore! 'in the private' will
  56. > no longer exist" See this quote right here is how I know they don't actually
  57. > know what they are doing, because as I explained earlier the passcode does
  58. > not decrypt the eboot. Short of the leaked test/devkit pkgs they will likely
  59. > not be backporting anything else
  60.

  77. engine 4 is not a child's thing and for those who understand, but without
  78. recent friends! a kiss from brazil! the subtitles were inside the pkg with

  108. Hello friend how are you, first I want to say that we are fa of your work,
  109. recently came out moon of darkness but with Japanese language! our group is
  110. specialized in ure4 we got the official english and portuguese subtitles from
  111. brazil, we created the .pak file where the languages are, but we could not
  112. generate an fpkg again because of the key, if we send this file .pak you would
  113. be able to recreate the fpkg? thanks for listening
  114.
  115. AlAzif01/15/2020
  116. I could try and help with technical questions but can't help with anything
  117. piracy related
  118.
  119. canaltecniqueza01/15/2020
  120. I perfectly understand your position on piracy, but since the pkg leaked why
  121. not put the subtitles, since you said you could help me with technical
  122. questions, would you tell me if it is possible to recreate this pkg without
  123. the key or where would find the key?
  124.
  125. AlAzif01/15/2020
  126. you don't need the key fpkgs should use a 0'd passcode
  127. doesn't matter if something is leaked or not touching the files is illegal
  128. even hosting a update pkg is technically illegal even though it's free and the
  129. link is there for anyone to just grab
  130.
  131. canaltecniqueza01/15/2020
  132. Alright I am very grateful for your attention and I will not bother with this
  133. kind of subject, a big hug and good work!
  134.
  135. AlAzif01/15/2020
  136. no prob like I said any questions not framed around the leak I'll help answer
  137. if I can
  138.
  139. canaltecniqueza 01/15/2020
  140. thanks again, and glad to hear that you would help
  141.
  142. > Yup that's it, me offering to help, if I'm not associating with piracy/leaks.
  143. > It was actually quite a pleasant conversation compared to some I get.
  144. > That's me having to tell them all they needs is 0's to open the pkg... We were
  145. > 100% a-okay until they put words into my mouth with tweet on Jan 22, 2020. And
  146. > even then I just spoke out against it when they were obviously misleading
  147. > people making it seem far more difficult then it would have been or that "more
  148. > backports are coming". And even then I left it alone until the second time
  149. > they mentioned me I blocked m to stop them from mentioning me again (Which
  150. > is why they had to take a screenshot to mention me again). Where they said I'm
  151. > pulling the same crap he's been doing on the regular and getting called out
  152. > for. Had they not been putting words in my mouth I would have just let this go
  153. > and corrected peoples expectations that they are building up, and said "Good on
  154. > them, they actually did something besides just bitch"
