  3. -- restlessPipes [RP] finds Paloma's hive quite easily. After examining the door and windows, he decides that the windows are the best choice here. Very stylish too, and dramatic. --
  4. -- restlessPipes [RP] gets a running start and YOUTH ROLLS through a window! --
  5. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] looks up at the broken window without raising her head, staring at Ranigi through her bangs. --
  6. AA: <\ So you're here. />
  7. -- restlessPipes [RP] flaps his cloak as dramatically as he can. --
  8. RP: Yes! It is I, Ranigi Dagada!
  9. -- restlessPipes [RP] takes a look around. --
  10. RP: ... t}{oug}{ I am dreadfully sorry about t}{e mess.
  11. AA: <\ ... />
  12. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] looks at him silently. She rises, holding her umbrella at the ready. --
  13. RP: O}{. Straig}{t to business, I see!
  14. AA: <\ We should take this outside. />
  15. -- restlessPipes [RP] does a little bow and motions for her to go first. --
  16. RP: After you.
  17. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] keeps alert as she leads him outside, unlocking the back door and taking him into her backyard. It's not too large, but it ought to be large enough. --
  18. -- restlessPipes [RP] doesn't try any sneaky, backstabby tricks. That wouldn't be very honorable. He retrieves his swords, admiring the backyard. --
  19. RP: T}{is is not a bad }{ive, broodsister.
  20. AA: <\ Thank you. />
  21. -- absoluteAltitude's [AA'S] voice is devoid of her usual pep. --
  22. -- restlessPipes [RP] notices. --
  23. RP: Well, since you don't seem to be in a c}{atty mood...
  24. -- restlessPipes [RP] moves into a fighting stance. --
  25. RP: S}{all we proceed?
  26. AA: <\ ... yeah. />
  27. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] slips into a fighting stance of her own, holding her umbrella firm. --
  28. AA: <\ Come on. />
  29. -- restlessPipes [RP] charges forward, swords whirling. --
  30. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] opens her umbrella to block his swords, ducking low to try and sweep him. --
  31. -- restlessPipes [RP] changes direction to dodge, stabbing and darting around her. --
  32. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] gets stabbed in the side as she can't react fast enough to block him. She presses a button on her umbrella to fold it up, and leaps at him, aiming to skewer him on her rapier-tip. --
  33. -- restlessPipes [RP] blocks with both his swords, grinning. --
  34. RP: You are not too bad, Paloma!
  35. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] glares at him, trying to break his block by pushing forward. --
  36. -- restlessPipes [RP] lets her to roll backwards and back onto his feet. --
  37. RP: I mean t}{at sincerely, if you doubt my words.
  38. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] charges at Ranigi, wordlessly. --
  39. -- restlessPipes [RP] dodges, his sword flashing as he slashes at her, this time aiming at her legs. --
  40. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] is cut deep, crying out in pain. She staggers backwards, popping out her umbrella and holding it in front of her defensively as she leans on her good leg. --
  41. -- restlessPipes [RP] doesn't waste any time. He darts forward and tries to knock her out with the butt end of his swords --
  42. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] tries to block it, but he's too fast, and she's too slow. Down she goes. --
  43. -- restlessPipes [RP] looks down at Paloma. He checks her leg and side, bandages them up first. He doesn't want her to suffer from any unneccessary wounds. --
  44. -- restlessPipes [RP] After that's done, he binds her hands and feet, dragging her inside. --
  45. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] is easily dragged, even as deadweight. --
  46. -- restlessPipes [RP] sets her in a chair and ties her to that. He doesn't want her to get away somehow. They're in the nutritionblock. He starts up the oven and sticks in some irons. --
  47. -- restlessPipes [RP] sits down, uncaptchaloging some food. He checks on her. --
  48. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] is starting to come around, but... slowly. --
  49. AA: <\ Nnh... />
  50. RP: I'm glad to see t}{at you're awake!

  52. -- restlessPipes [RP] offers a bottle of gin. --
  53. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] blinks, blearily, and turns her face away. --

  81. -- restlessPipes [RP] carefully aims his sword. Down it goes again. He speaks conversationally. --

  83. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] chokes out a sob, trying to stifle herself and failing. --
  84. AA: <\ Oh god! />
  85. RP: We are making good progress.

  88. -- restlessPipes [RP] chops quickly. It's clear that he's done this before. --

  98. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] is shaking, drawing sharp breaths. --

  100. RP: We are almost done.
  101. -- restlessPipes [RP] says this soothingly. --
  102. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] draws in broken sobs. --

  120. -- restlessPipes [RP] quickly gets up and picks up the iron. --
  121. RP: ... I am sorry. But I do not want you to bleed to deat}{.

  123. -- restlessPipes [RP] slams the iron against her bleeding wrist. --
  124. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] looks at Ranigi, unwillingly shaking her head, and then - then she screams again. --
  125. -- restlessPipes [RP] seems unaffected by the screams. He's done this several times, though not always with hands. He calmly takes the iron away when he thinks it's done and inspects it to make sure that it's all right. --
  126. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] whimpers openly, her breath hitching with tears in her eyes. --
  127. RP: You will be fine, Paloma.
  128. RP: I will make sure of it.
  129. RP: Justice }{as been done.
  130. -- restlessPipes [RP] takes out his laptop and starts contacting someone. When he's done, he stands up and unties Paloma. --
  131. RP: Please. Try to get some rest.
  132. RP: I've contacted Elizan.
  133. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] slumps against the chair, cradling her stump of a hand and sobbing. --
  134. -- restlessPipes [RP] reaches out to put a hand on her shoulder... --
  135. RP: I am sorry. It }{urts now, but it is a fair lesson.
  136. -- absoluteAltitude [AA] lets him do it. It's in question whether she even notices him between her sobs. --
