[06:15] <~BroadestPeak> -RP Commencing Shortly-
[06:19] <~BroadestPeak> The zony filly looks hopeful and concerned at the same time, although as Adagio approachs the fallen pyropony he shakes his head lightly. "Dun' need it... n-not gonna' make it far... you n-n-need it more. O-others might n-need it too..." he says in a forced whisper.
[06:21] * Adagio sighs and nods still bleeding, "I'll keep your daughter safe," she looks at the filly, "But I have no idea how to use that." she points at the flamethrower. "I never learned how."

[06:23] * BroadestPeak slumps slightly. "J-just poi-point... and... s-shoo-..." his breathing stops and his head slumps fully, body relaxing and vibrancy fading from his eyes, blood still travelling softly from his mouth and pattering on the cold railing to which he sat, flamethrower nearby, pilotlight sparked and illuminating the darkness near it. The filly blinks and nudges the stallion with her head. "Daddy? Wake up daddy!" she cries feebly.
[06:29] * Adagio reaches over and closes his eyes, before turning to the filly, "Young one, your daddy wanted me to take you to safety." she leans down to slip the fuel tank over her wings and secures it to er back with the straps, she checks the flamethrower and finds that it fits on a bracket under her right wing, turning to her double she finds that it has a bit that when she bites down releases
[06:29] * Adagio a small gout of flame, "Careful!" her double jumps clear.
[06:30] * Adagio looks back to the young zony and sighs tears welling in her eyes, "I lost my daddy too, but I know he'd want me to help you, will you listen to your daddy and come with me to safety?"
[06:30] <~BroadestPeak> The filly is a tab busy trying desperately to get her daddy to wake up, knowing deep down he never was going to. "Daddy! You promised! You promised! Momma' is waiting and you promised!"
[06:32] * Adagio steps over to the filly and sits down next to her, carefully wrapping a wing around the child, and doing her best to hug the child without forcing them to seperate, "What's your name little one?"
[06:34] * BroadestPeak whimpers pitifully. "S-Sumerki..." she cries softly. "Daddies gone... m-mommy t-too..."

[06:36] * Adagio feels an all too familiar pain welling up within her, "Sumerki, do you know where your mommy is?" she hugs the filly close and tries to looks reassuring. "I can take you there but I need to know where to go."
[06:38] * BroadestPeak nods shakily and points a hoovsie to the left, tunnel leading further into the metro. "Sh-she was gonna' m-meet us at Temnyy S-staion." she deflates visibly. "D-daddy promised..."

[06:43] * Adagio nods, before lifting the filly and placing her upon her back, "I'm sorry if it's a bit uncomfortable up there, but this way I can move faster," she looks back, "Have you ever gone flying little one?"
[06:45] * Sumerki shakes her head, eyes still watery and her body shaky. "N-no..." she clings the the back of the mare she hardly knew, but the filly needed to hug something living. "Wh-what is happening? W-why are we all down here?" Not understanding that Zero Hour had hit, and the world was ending.
[06:48] * Adagio looks back and spreads her wings, "Because it's safe down here Sumerki, things have gotten very bad outside, and this is the safest place now." she smiles at the filly's answer, "Well keep hugging tight, because away we go!" she flaps a few times feeling the strain of too much too soon and pushes it away, just a little further.. then she'd see Brutus.
[06:53] <~Sumerki> The filly holds on tight, putting her facedown and closing her eyes. Adagio's path will be mostly clear passing a few refugees on the way until she comes across what might have been a hastily constructed barricade.
[06:57] * Adagio spots the barricade and sets down before it, "Hello?!" she shouts, "Can anyone hear me?"
[07:01] <~Sumerki> Behind the cover are three bodies, two of what look like police officers and the other a pony who had apparently been weilding a knife and was shot down. However basid on the wounds sustained by the officers it couldn't have been just that pony...
[07:06] * Adagio sighs shaking her head lightly, "Funny isn't it? The world hasn't been over for more than a few hours, and already ponies are killing eachother." her double chuckles, "Such wanton disregard for the lives of others should be applauded, I didn't even need to do anything, they did this themselves."
[07:09] <~Sumerki> If Adagio looks closely, one of the officers is still alive. Breathing heavily, a standard issue pistol layed across the officer's lap.
[07:17] * Adagio steps closer noticing movement from an officer, stepping closer she settles nearby and carefully draws out the trauma kit, "Sir?"
[07:19] <~Sumerki> The officer wears a balaclava and riotmask, coughing softly, a gruff voice responds. "Shit... I bled out a dick in the last few minutes? Daum..." the rough yet feminine voice comments.
[07:23] * Adagio leans forward and shakes her head, "No Ma'am," she chuckles, "But I can help, just stay still for a bit." she opens the trauma kit and begins to treat the officer mare's wounds, "Can you tell me what happened?"
[07:24] <~Sumerki> "Nutters... slicing and dicing and whaling down the tunnel... other three ran off..." Her wounds are severe, but definitely saveable.
[07:27] * Adagio nods and continues working carefully treating the worst wounds as best she could which was pretty damn good to be honest. She finishes her work, the trauma kit spent of its supplies, and nods. "That's the best I can do ma'am, rest for a bit, I'll see what I can do about this wall."
[07:28] * Adagio looks back to Sumerki and smiles, "Can you keep an eye on her for me Sumerki?"
[07:33] <~Sumerki> "Drop the ma'am thing... it don't mean anythin' anymore... name's Pinata. Officer fore' now... not so much anymore..." Meanwhile the little zony filly nodnods to Adagio. "O-ok... I'll t-try..."
[07:35] * Adagio nods to Pinata, "Still, you're trying to do the right thing, and despite everything, someone still needs to keep the peace," she lets Sumerki slip off her back, "I'll be right back, if anything happens just yell my name okay?" she looks at Sumerki and smiles, "I'm Adagio."
[07:37] <~Sumerki> Pinata nods. "I'll keep yer' filly safe... seriously though... watch for the nutters... fuggin'..." she groans picking up her pistol and reloading a clip into it. "Hurry along though, or I'll be takin' the filly with or without you to Temnyy."
[07:38] * Adagio nods and picks up the knife from the body nearby, "I won't be long," she nods and slips up to the barrier, checking for any easy way past.
[07:40] <~Sumerki> There is a tipped over portion made of barrels and covered in razor wire. Easy enough for a pony to fit through. The area beyond rather dark, even for it being not two hundred years derelict.

[07:43] * Adagio gulps a bit before slipping through, this needed to be done. she checks the gauge on the flamethrower and then tests the edge of the knife, both would hold out for a bit longer, just three to deal with.
[07:44] <~Sumerki> Adagio only has a light or two to go on as she trots down the eerily quiet tunnel, this section rather open on either said, scaffolding present as there are other lines that run along this area, plenty of places for ambush, soft scutters can be heard ahead.
[07:49] * Adagio smiles despite herself at such a common tactic, she carefully trots along her hoof falls silent but the bobbing pilot light is there keeping the darkness at bay and stays sharp for any ambush.
[07:53] <~Sumerki> Soon enough Adagio gets what she's expecting, except it's not heavily armed bandits, instead it's three half crazed day old ghouls, fresh out of the gamma blaster that was the surface above. One weilding a baseball bat, another a knife, and the third a small caliber pistol. One off behind her a bit, one off the the left, and one direct front. Although they haven't attacked yet.
[07:55] * Adagio nods to her direct front, "Hello." she smiles disarmingly, "Not really going well up there is it?"
[07:58] <~Sumerki> "Does it fuckin' look like it's ok? Luna and Celestia and Roam have fucked allah' us." Says the recently fleshed out ghoul. "We're gorram' monstrosities. Thanks to you n' yer' pals upstairs. Luna has damed us all." he growls in a low, animalistic tone.
[08:02] * Adagio shakes her head, "No you're not monstrosities, you're ghouls, and from the sounds of it you're still holding on to what makes you a pony," she smiles, "You may look different outside, but inside, you're still you." she sighs, "And with the right ponies these metros will save many innocent lives." she looks at the ghoul standing before her, "Will you be one of those ponies?"
[08:03] <~Sumerki> "Nope. Cause' my wifes dead, same with my kids, and his kids, and her kids. Fuckin' cops blows us away on sight, this ain't a way to live." he snickers some, "So why not you slide on over here n' let me have a good time huh'...?" he inches forwards towards her like a hungry animal.
[08:05] <Adagio> "Keep trying to save all of them" the voice whispered in her ear, "They'll fit right in with everyone else." she shakes her head, "Why throw it all away? You've been dealt a bad hoof, and yet you're still alive, why do this?"
[08:08] <~Sumerki> "Ain't a way to live..." he sighs. "Either yah' do it or I make you do it..." he says potioning to the flamethrower... The others nod lightly as well. "Nopony will take us, and I ain't gonna' lose my mind."
[08:09] <~Sumerki> *pointing.
[08:10] * Adagio settles in to fight, her wounds protesting all the while, "Just give up when the going gets rough..." she sighs making note to follow her own damned advice, "You're wrong you know, I've known plenty of ghouls in my life, they all have their regrets but they proved to the ponies around them that they were still ponies if a bit odd." she sighs, "You'll have to make me do it... [08:10] * Adagio down you're still good ponies."
[08:13] <~Sumerki> The three growl and lunge at Adagio, wildly at that. Not really trying to hurt her, but they needed a reason, their sullen and angry hopeless eyes likely telling the story better than they could. They had given up, and the radiation hadn't taken their minds from them. It was a pleasure to burn...
[08:18] * Adagio twists to the right at the last moment slipping away from the three of them, before turning to face them once more, "Life isn't easy for anyone after this, there's a filly up there who just watched her father die, and who's counting on some random stranger to take her to a station, there's an officer up there who was sure you'd all gone crazy but will listen to me if only because
[08:18] * Adagio she owes her life to me, and now you just throw it all away when you could help."
[08:19] * Adagio shouts, "YOU'RE ALL JUST COWARDS!" as loudly as she could.
[08:19] <~Sumerki> The distance is closing fast, and they aren't stopping.
[08:19] <Adagio> "Hits a little close to home doesn't it 'Dagi?"
[08:21] * Adagio just stands there facing them as they rush her, "Fine, throw away what makes you ponies, prove me wrong to believe you can be better."
[08:24] <~Sumerki> the first one tackles Adagio but doesn't keep swinging. "Kill us!" they shout nearly simultaneously. "We're damned monsters and either way it's that or go upstairs to get plowed down by Stripes or get killed by our own later!"
[08:30] <Adagio> "Have you taken a good look at me?" she sighs, "I'm just as much a monster, if not more, than any of you. All of you, no stripes no feathers, you're more widely accepted in the wastes than I am." she sighs, "If you want so badly to die do it yourselves. Don't make some other pony suffer over ending your life."
[08:31] <~Sumerki> The three seem conflicted now along with being hopeless, "At least you won't be shot on sight here, we don't have that luxury, to others we are monstrocities."
[08:36] <Adagio> "How's that moral highground for you 'Dagi?" her double stands over her and she sighs, "Not now anyway, but in the future, someone like me is the monster, and you are the oddities that are accepted, if you work with these ponies, you'll be accepted after a while and they'll protect you as their own." she sits up, "I ask again, will you help?"
[08:38] <~Sumerki> "Or blown away on sight. Nopony will stop them..." Their mottled minds mulling it over once more.
[08:40] <Adagio> "Sounds like a win win for you all," she sighs, "You either get to help the other ponies who could use your skills, or they kill you like you want." she sighs, "Follow me if you want to give life another chance."
[08:40] * Adagio turns to head back to the barricade.
[08:42] <~Sumerki> The ghouls don't follow, but instead just stand there before retreating back into the tunnels.
[08:44] * Adagio sighs and trots back to the barricade, "Pinata, it's Adagio, I'm coming through."
[08:46] <~Sumerki> Pinata grunts in response. "Crying filly, what do?"
[08:48] * Adagio slips through and smiles at Sumerki, "Hey, it's alright Sumerki, I'm back and we're going to your mommy okay?" she steps over and gives the filly a hug, "I'm sorry I had to do that but it's okay now. I think."

[10:01] * Sumerki nods sadly to Adagio. "O-ok..." she sniffles and wipes at her tears with her hoovsies. Pinata looks warily around, her eyes tired and dogmatic, yet remaining alert.
[10:04] * Adagio looks over at Pinata, "If you see those ponies again, hold your fire, they're strange but they're still ponies." she sighs, "Give them a chance alright?" she smiles and lifts Sumerki back onto her back, "So, lets go."
[10:07] * Sumerki clings her tiny hoovsies to Adagio's back, nodnodding, "I-I miss daddy... mommy is gonna' ne sad too..." her ears droop. Meanwhile Pinata climbs to her hooves. Cursing quietly at her broken radio and trotting over to the dead officer she was with. "Sorry bucko, just wasn't our lot." she says taking his gun and extra mags.
[10:14] * Adagio looks at Pinata and nods before smiling at Sumerki, "We'll get you to your mommy," she reaches up with a wing and ruffles her mane, "It might get scary but we'll get you there. So, Pinata, which way are we going?"
[10:16] <~Sumerki> Pinata points a hoof while standing unsteadily. "Temnyy Station is the middle tunnel in the fork. About a click from here, refugee camp there, even heard that there's a few MoI Blackops fellas' there too before police chatter died."
[10:18] <Adagio> "Shit," she looks over at Pinata, "That's not good..." she sighs as they begin their trek onwards.
[10:19] <~Sumerki> Pinata blinks and limps after. "Why yah' say that?"
[10:21] * Adagio chuckles, "What stripes are a fashion statement now?" she says as they continue onward.
[10:22] <~Sumerki> "Yah' know where you are right? Radiation gettin' to you? Moosecow redefined tolerance before all this. Yah' name a race, we have it."
[10:27] * Adagio chuckles, "Funny thing is I've been hated for my stripes and wings forever, kinda get jaded after a while." she sighs.
[10:32] <~Sumerki> "You just roll in a day er' two ago then? You notice the kiddo on your back there?" Pinata points out, trotting along with her pistol in tow.
[10:33] * Adagio chuckles, "You wouldn't believe me even if I told you,"
[10:38] <~Sumerki> "Oh? Shoot then." Pinata murmurs quietly, not wishing to attract any unwanted attention. Sumerki meanwhile holds tightly to Adagio's back, almost as if afraid if she lets her guard down for even a second Adagio will disappear from her world too.
[10:42] * Adagio nods, "You asked for it," she sighs, "I'm from about two hundred years from now, the Wasteland as we know it is a place where Pegasi have sealed the sky and left unicorns and earth ponies to rot in the irradiated hellscape, and zebras are blamed for its creation. The ghouls you met earlier, are more accepted than someone of my pedigree."
[10:43] <~Sumerki> The police officer blinks and whistles. "Well... radiation..." she says quietly before laughing. "Yah' got me good, you some sort of writer, because I can kinda' imagine that happening, but the pegasus wouldn't bail, Skyguard'll be here soon enough I bet."

[10:47] * Adagio shakes her head, "Clousdale is one of the first cities to fall..." she sighs as they continue the trek, "The pegasi retreat, Rainbow Dash objects strongly and is declared a traitor, another pegasus declares that Rainbow Dash was right and coins the term Dashite, when I'm from any pegasus that comes below the cloud cover is branded a Dashite and has their cutie marks burned off and

[10:49] <~Sumerki> Pinata blinks. "Hah... haha... and I'm a uhm... pegasus... yea..."
[10:52] * Adagio shakes her head, "I told you, you wouldn't believe me." she sighs, "It's all true and in my time Princesses Luna and Celestia are dead and revered as Goddesses."
[10:53] <~Sumerki> "Well I never believed in em' anyways, it's fuckin' shit they dragged us into a war we didn't start n' took our resources. Basically we get gorram double teamed by them and the zeebs. And for what?"
[10:54] * Sumerki whimpers softly on Adagio's back, crying in earnest because she misses her daddy.
[10:58] * Adagio slips Sumerki off Adagio's back and snuggles her in a wing, "We'll be there soon Sumerki," she smiles, "Your momma will be there and she'll be so relieved to see you!"
[10:59] <~Sumerki> "Wh-what if s-she's asleep forever too!" the little filly cries out.
[11:02] <~Sumerki> Pinata isn't keen on comfort, so she watches the perimeter.
[11:04] * Adagio sighs and snuggles her closer, "I lost my momma and daddy when I was young..." she sighs, "It's not easy... I miss them everyday..." she feels the familiar pain welling up, that loss of her family, "But I have a feeling that everything will be alright."
[11:06] * Sumerki hugs Adagio tight with her little zony hoovsies with all her tiny might. "Ok... I-I believe you..." she says with a glint of hope.
[11:10] * Adagio smiles and carefully slips Sumerki up onto her back once more, "Can you be strong for me Sumerki?" she smiles back at her, "Its dark, I'm hurt and scared, and I'm doing everything I can to help. But I need help too can you be strong for me?"
[11:11] * Sumerki gulps and nodnods. "I'll t-try..." Meanwhile Pinata offers a wrapping of healing bandages to Adagio. "Ain't much, but it's something."

[11:14] * Adagio nods to Sumerki and smilesruffling the filly's mane with her wing, "Thank you Sumerki." she turns and smiles to Pinata, "Thanks Pinata." she takes the bandages and wraps the worst of her injuries. "Gotta keep going."
[11:14] * Sumerki lets of a small giggle, but it lasts only long enough to remind her where she was, and why she was there. Then the depression hits again.
[11:15] <~Sumerki> Soon enough Adagioc an likely see a well lit barricade ahead, not far at all, and much, much more living ponies and the like. Currently however they are standing in a dim portion of the tunnel.

[11:20] * Adagio looks at Pinata and Sumerki, "Slow and steady, they're likely a bit jumpy." she smiles as she slowly steps towards the barricade, "Hello!" she steps forward into the light from the wall.
[11:26] <~Sumerki> In aflury of movement, three ponies wearing armor that looks almost mirror image to standard DCR armor are behind Adagio and her group. Weapons locked and loaded, laser sights painting both her and Pinata. "Make a move and get blasted, simple as that da?" one of them comments, the voice is male.
[11:27] <Adagio> "Understood Sir," she makes no movement, "Sumerki stay still for the nice guard ponies."
[11:30] <~Sumerki> One of the soldiers comments. "Hey wait a minute sir, this one's a cop. The other's a zony, ain't likely she's a spy. They kill faster than they recruit." There is apparently quiet talk shared between the two of them before the main stallion speaks again... "Procede."
[11:33] * Adagio nods slowly and blows out the pilot on her flamethrower and turns off the feed. "Thank you sir." she lets out a breath she didn't relize she was holding and heads for the gate.

[11:36] <~Sumerki> Adagio may not she's still being painted over by their laser sights, but soon enough as quickly as they came, the three soldiers are gone. Ahead of them lays a barricade protected by a ragtag (At best) group of ponies. A few cops and soldiers capitalize the guard. Most are weary and rather scared, a few of the more hardened ones look at ease in  the stress. beyond them lays the shattered remnant od the once large population of the city. A hod

[11:39] * Adagio looks back at Sumerki, "What's your momma's name Sumerki?" as she steps through the barrier.

[11:40] * Sumerki answers Adagio weakly. "Mommy is called." She thinks hard on how to pronounce it . "She... Shept- Sheptat'!"
[11:41] * Adagio nods, "Your mommy is a zebra? My mommy was a pegasus, my daddy was a zebra." she smiles, "Can you tell me if you see your momma Sumerki?"
[11:43] * Sumerki stands up shakily on Adagio's back, not because she wasn't coordinated, in truth far from it, but more because of what she was going through. The little filly keenly scans the crowd, rather skillfully actually.
[11:46] * Adagio chuckles and turns to Pinata, "Pinata, thanks," she's still bleeding lightly but she'll likely survive for a bit longer thanks to the bandages, "You should get yourself seen by a doctor, I'll make sure Sumerki gets home safely..." she carefully keeps her 'I hope.' a private thought but the look on her face says it all.
[11:46] <~Sumerki> Pinata sticks with Adagio and the filly the whole time, nodding to a few ponies she knew all the while.
[11:47] <~Sumerki> "Ain't goin' anywhere hun', least till we get you to a medic. Or find a better quick fix."
[11:48] * Adagio chuckles at the officer mare and continues her search, asking passers by if they new a mare named Sheptat, gradually working through the crowd.
[11:49] * Sumerki beams slightly. "My mommies a medic! She can make you feel all gooder inside if you're hurting!" she hops lightly when she thinks she sees something that looks like her target. "I... I think I see her!"
[11:50] * Adagio smiles, "Point the way Sumerki!" she grins, "Solving both problems at the same time works for me."
[11:52] * Sumerki points towards a corner of the overly crowded station, which for what it was is really damned large. It was about half the size of thwe Capital Station, but even half is obsurdly large, especially considering the vaulted cielings and overlapping platforms above the trainyard and various other areas. The filly points frantically to a corner of the trainyard platform where a temporary aid station seems to have been constructed. A certa
[11:53] <~Sumerki>  A certain zebra mare is there with others, working to heal what they can, all wearing labcoats, many having blood on them.
[11:55] * Adagio carefully works her way through the crowded station towards the aid center, "Thank the Goddesses!" she smiles, "Anyone here named Sheptat'?"
[11:56] <~Sumerki> The certain zebra mare in question looks up and blinks. "Somebody call my name?" she asks softly before being promptly flying hugged by her filly. "Mommy mommy mommy!" the filly cries out in a mix of relief and sadness. The mare too stunned to respond other than hugging the filly back tightly.
[11:58] <Adagio> "Finally, a happy..." the rest of her train of thought is derailed as she finally succumbs to blood loss and exhaustion, beginning to fall over as she passes out.
[11:59] <~Sumerki> The mare momentarily releases her filly, shouting something to the others that is lost as Adagio swims out of what might be called 'consciousness'.
