The fact that this happened is highly unusual but since this is being sent back for service the chances of it coming back with issues again are highly unlikely. However if you still have the same issue with the console it will likely be replaced. Also when did you purchase the console?

  44. Me (12/9/2018, 7:25:19 PM): Look, I'm really frustrated with this situation as it is. I've owned a PS3 slim and a PS4 slim and neither of them had these issues. I've lost weeks in turnaround time and now I'm expected to do it again when the console wasn't even fixed last time.
  45. Me (12/9/2018, 7:26:02 PM): And how am I even supposed to sign for this if it gets back to me? I'm going on vacation this coming Saturday and will be out of town until next year.

Xavier (12/9/2018, 7:27:28 PM): I completely understand your frustration with this Chandler, especially since you have exhausted all troubleshooting steps on your end and are repeating this whole process again. As for the being out of town what you can do actually is wait until you are in the new location you are going to be at and then set up the service there. This is a self service site so you can set it up whenever you are ready. Once you set it up we will look into the system and get this issue resolved as soon as possible.

  54. Me (12/9/2018, 7:32:19 PM): I will take a hammer and smash up my current one and send in a picture if that's what it takes to get a replacement sent to me.
  55. Xavier (12/9/2018, 7:34:19 PM): I would highly advise against doing that as if you were to damage the system our service center will be unable to repair it due to excessive damage. But all we can do is have the console sent in for service and either get it fixed or replaced. Again it is more than likely not going to have that issue anymore and this is rare for this to happen.
