Chara and Wade

Hoooo Wade and Chara. Hoo.

At this point, it's just...so twisted. Like you've mentioned before like, regardless of how they feel and what they're trying to do, Wade has had so much influence on Chara. He's...the reason they've shown a lot of restraint to people manhandling them. Because he gave them a five month window where touch started to be a neutral and even positive thing. And in their own way, I think part of why they are so insistent of taking care of the other children on the island is because that's what Wade did for them- if you can't be with the adult who made things safer for you, be the adult who made things better for you.

Right now, they're really worried for him. And they're absolutely terrified that if they continue keeping their distance, he's going to up and disappear too. That should be for the best, that should be what they want- it isn't. So they're really fumbling on what to do, really fumbling on how to keep a better eye on him-- and kind of like... I think it'll show in future threads a lot just how much they want him to like them again.

Honestly right now everything is so up in the air and there is desperation behind every action they're going to make, so this is going to be one hell of a ride.
