  1. 14:44] Dun Task says, "Go team."
  2. [14:44] Revan Task says, "Father, I have some templar armor made for the fireblooded."
  3. [14:44] Revan Task says, "I need help enchanting it though"
  4. [14:44] Dun Task says, "Sure."
  5. [14:44] Dun Task says, "Toss it down."
  6. [14:45] Dun Task asks, "Any food?"
  7. [14:45] {Item} You picked up Garden Tea. Dropped by Revan Task..
  8. [14:45] Arch whispers something.
  9. [14:45] Arch whispers something.
  10. [14:45] Dun Task says, "Son."
  11. [14:46] Dun Task says, "Was that garden tea given to you."
  12. [14:46] Dun Task says, "By someone."
  13. [14:48] Dun Task says, "Oh yeah."
  14. [14:48] Dun Task says, "I also need a doctor."
  15. [14:48] Dun Task says, "My heart has been on fire in the literal sense."
  16. [14:48] Dun Task says, "Since we left ifraheim."
  17. [14:52] "There was actually something I wished to discuss with you."
  18.
  19. He would say with the classic Task click of his teeth. The poison had been something he had long held onto, and never thought it's purpose would be for this. Saved for a special Clown colada, he would give the poisoned tea to Dun, standing as he was still burdened with the burn that his father had given him.
  20.
  21. "I have spoken to the people of Theria, the Fireblooded that resided here.. And they all share my sentiments. I stood by your side and supported our family because I thought we would end up doing what was right in the end."
  22.
  23. He spoke loud and with confidence, this was something that had long been harbored within him. He tried learned the demon's minds and intentions, he tried to work with them, and though he saw their use as an obstacle..
  24.
  25. They still had to be put down eventually.
  26.
  27. "I thought you would have some master plan to turn on them- but no, youshowed me that the scars you've earned haven't granted you enlightenment.. You've only grown callous. Qyzycryt, grandson of Garljing, has decreed that no dragon or their follower would ever stoop to assist a sworn enemy- even if planned to turn on them. This is the true Fireblooded way, father, and I intend to make you pay for trying to lead the faith astray."
  28. (Revan Task)
  29. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. [14:56] Luxa Vandran asks, "What is this?"
  32. [14:56] Luxa Vandran says, "I have never seen this demon."
  33. [14:57] Shiro silently walks to Lilith placing his hand on her dress. As his hand was starting to twitch from his confrontation. He was trying to hold it in the whole time.
  34. (Shiro)
  35. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  36.
  37. [14:57] Hayakuen Xie says, "Then you don't walk around much, buddy."
  38. [14:57] Luxa shrugs
  39. (Luxa Vandran)
  40. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  41.
  42. [14:57] Luxa Vandran says, "I do other things."
  43. [14:57] Lilith would place a hand on Shiro's head. Patting him and rubbing his head reassuringly.
  44. (Lilith Allison)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [14:59] The inconspicuous youth's attention focused on the dispute below, where a man wearing a dragonic helmet protested against the free riegn of demonkind. Enemies and predators of humanity since time began. Such a confrontation naturally has Altair rise up from where he stood, skipping lightly to land on the stone head and stand up straight--watching from above.
  48.
  49. His nimble fingers drift towards the weapon holstered at his side.
  50.
  51. Tension in the air.
  52.
  53. Would it come to a battle? Would he see the callous wolf's head mounted on a wall, the serpent descaled? Or is this a war of words?
  54.
  55. Altair awaited, readied and distant. A nobody, an observer, but one that keenly waited all the same.
  56. (Altair)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [14:59] Hayakuen folded his arms, and gave a glance toward Revan.
  60. (Hayakuen Xie)
  61. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  62.
  63. [15:00] Luxa notices there was obviosuly something about to go down here. He aint goin nowhere.
  64. (Luxa Vandran)
  65. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  66.
  67. [15:04] Estra listened to the conversation between the two. Was she going to witness something she wished she wouldn't?
  68. (Estra)
  69. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  70.
  71. [15:07] Athanoti yawns...
  72. (Athanoti Mälenköch)
  73. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  74.
  75. [15:07] Athanoti Mälenköch says, "...What'd I miss..."
  76. [15:09] Revan Task says, "Much more appropriate pb song"
  77. [15:11] The poison reeling through Dun's system appeared to inhibit him with certainty, but then, it had not been the first time he'd been poisoned. The elder of the Fireblooded would cross his legs contently as he continued to hover, swallowing the pain of the burning poison that ran through his veins as yet another of the many scars he bore.
  78.
  79. "I was wondering why the tea was so spicy! It's really a good recipe. I thought I tasted magibane, but in truth I was gonna finish it regardless. When an enchanter wants to enchant, no hel or highwater will get in his way to get the job done."
  80.
  81. The elder would maintain a punished meditational state with blackened veins, baring no anger for his son as he offered a smile while working to idly keep the poison from ravaging his damaged heart.
  82.
  83. "You have spoken to a loud minority. It's an understandable mistake, but then many of the young do not understand the sacrifices of the old to preserve their home. I do not fault ignorance, nor place it in their hands. It is mine for not offering proper lecture after all. Ohohohoho.."
  84.
  85. The old priest would nod steadily, his senses kept coherent only by force of will against the poison as he nodded peacefully to his son.
  86.
  87. "Vartuul, the son of Garljiing, of whom Sythaeryn the dragon of Retribution claimed herald, fought and died contently beside such provacateurs of the occult when it suited his aims, even as he died upon the field against the dragonslayer nobility that still lies within the vale."
  88.
  89. Dun would nod lightly at that.
  90.
  91. "I have never lead the faith astray, and you know as well as I do the Fireblooded does not follow dogma. We live the philosophy of the dragons battle by battle, year by year as our flesh is made stone and ash and scales. Garljing, whose arrival I bore with fire and scourge to my flesh in his arrival, remains resting because of the sacrifices of those you abhorred. Each wound borne for the hatchlings that will come."
  92.
  93. The elder would hum steadily at that, moving forth to offer a come whisper to his son with his light hearted ambiance.
  94.
  95. "Let me tell you something you might not have known. After that, get me some water."
  96.
  97. (Dun Task)
  98. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  99.
  100. [15:12] Dun Task whispers: Hades and I are betraying the demons after they take out the Vale and stop the Terraphim from conquering us the third time my son.
  101. [15:19] Xyth simply stood by to see what would be happening
  102. (Xyth)
  103. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  104.
  105. [15:21] Lilith would take a step forward, watching at the scene unfolding. Wondering how the Elder would react to his son poisoning him, going against him. Would he lash out in anger? Would he damn his son to Hel? Or would he approve, encouraging him and praising him for his plotting.
  106.
  107. And yet, it wasn't any of that. The Elder would instead be calm, maintaining a steady composure as he would brush off the magibane. Explaining his thoughts, correcting his son in his thinking. Talking about his idea of the Fireblood and what it means to be one.
  108.
  109. Her hands would clench, and she would grit her teeth. She wanted to do something, something to teach Dun a lesson. But she would respect her husband, and would calm herself down in order to see what he would say. Though, she would be prepared for any confrontations, watching closely to see what would happen.
  110.
  111. Revan's got this right...? Of course he does...
  112. (Lilith Allison)
  113. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  114.
  115. [15:21] A strong, chilly wind that pulled the heat right out of his bones rolls through the mountain and has Altair breathe out. Mist fumed in front of him while he watched the distant back and forth between the Task family.
  116.
  117. The boy eyed the black wolf that loomed to Revan's flank. Beneath the shade of his hood his blue eyes are bright with a pulse of magic, glowing within the darkness. Prepared.
  118.
  119. --- But if he can't handle a lone enforcer of the Razuka mafia, would he even content against such a beast...?
  120.
  121. Altair swallowed the lump in his throat, then continued his watch.
  122. (Altair)
  123. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  124.
  125. [15:23] His father was the pinnacle of endurance and resolve, even as he drank the cup in full, he would continue to enchant and speak. Though Revan would stand firm against his father's words, it seemed the Task would not be swayed by his own blood's words. Even the whisper would be met with a snarl.
  126.
  127. "A small minority? I've been tending to the rising embers that is the new generation of the Fireblooded. You say we do not know of sacrifice or to preserve our home- but you are wrong. We will fight and bleed to keep it Free and untainted. You say the dragons are slumbering, but I believe they are merely lying in wait."
  128.
  129. Rolling the blessed helm on his head as a few cracks would pop out, he knew there were demons in the square, and his father tried to dance around for a plan he might never get to see come to fruition.
  130.
  131. "However the time to wait is over, Father, the dragons grow hungry, and they will not fly so long as we march with demonkind."
  132.
  133. His jaw would clench as he stood steadfast, he had idolized his father sense birth, and sought to emulate him in every aspect he could. Yet he couldn't shake some passing words.
  134.
  135. Don't make the same mistakes as me or 'yer father.
  136.
  137. Revan was done with it, and the people of Theria were with him. They were dragged into a war because of the hidden dealings of his family, and from it Theria was thrown into Turmoil. Yet opportunism running in his blood, Revan would see his shot and take it.
  138.
  139. "You've escaped too many crimes for too many year, Dun Task, it is time for you to pay the Therian Price."
  140.
  141. With the declaration made, Revan would march forward to carry through on his judgement.
  142. (Revan Task)
  143. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  144.
  145. [15:23] Tonak Botcher says, "...."
  146. [15:25] Selena looks on in silence.
  147. (Selena Nokamata)
  148. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  149.
  150. [15:26] Krom stops flipping his coin to watch how this turns out
  151. (Krom Bellator)
  152. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  153.
  154. [15:29] If no was the time for anything to be done, it was now. As he saw that Revan was about to go forward in an attempt to do something against their father, Pachua moved.
  155.
  156. The soaring movement of the winged Drakanite being nothing more than just a plea to catch them by the wrist and happily think of all the things that led up to this moment.
  157.
  158. Even though Dun was the one who did such things, it wasn't their job to do so.
  159.
  160. The fault lies on to Pachua and Pachua alone, and as such, he wouldn't allow such a horrible thing happen to the Task that made a lot of these things possible.
  161.
  162. Even though his way was corrupt, he didn't dare wish for the harm to come to the Old Man until his plans were in fruition. Besides, he had the entire idea of simply protecting the Fireblooded with the chronicles that were being made.
  163.
  164. The choices were clear -- Pachua would step in for the defense of the ELDER as the tempest winds would start to pull through with a suction rather than a push.
  165.
  166. "I need him!"
  167. (Pachua)
  168. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  169.
  170. [15:29] Barrachan lands upon the ground, lips seared shut, he observes the gathering.
  171. (Barrachan Vatoris)
  172. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  173.
  174. [15:33] Krom Bellator whispers something.
  175. [15:34] Barrachan Vatoris whispers something.
  176. [15:35] Krom Bellator whispers something.
  177. [15:35] Barrachan Vatoris whispers something.
  178. [15:35] Barrachan Vatoris whispers something.
  179. [15:35] Selena Nokamata says, "..."
  180. [15:35] Athanoti would be leaning on her sword the time that she was watching her son-in-law enact his long awaited plan.
  181.
  182. She swore to protect, if anybody tried to stop him, of course. It was a duel of honor, after-all.
  183.
  184. Athanoti walks behind Revan to confront the feathery-drakanite with a dead-eye stare.
  185.
  186. "It's a duel, step-off." The grip on her sword tenses up visibly, as a few embers drop from her Nyeshk hand.
  187. (Athanoti Mälenköch)
  188. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  189.
  190. [15:36] no
  191. (Athanoti Mälenköch)
  192. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  193.
  194. [15:36] Barrachan Vatoris whispers something.
  195. [15:37] Krom pats Barrachan on the back
  196. (Krom Bellator)
  197. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  198.
  199. [15:37] Lilith would already be waiting for someone to protest against her Husband's actions. Seeing Pachua rush towards the two, trying to defend the Elder. She would already be dashing towards her husbands side, runic sigils on her skin already glowing with mana, with power. Snarling at those who dare to go against Revan.
  200.
  201. It was now that change was going to happen. She's been convincing Revan ever since she first met him in the streets of Theria. Ever since the Dragon's Tooth guild was founded, ever since all those years she spent with him. This was the time for change, this was the time for something great to happen.
  202.
  203. "If anyone is to go against my Husband, you go against me first."
  204.
  205. And she would be ready to fight, ready to fight for what she believed in. This was it, the moment she's been waiting for, years and years.
  206. (Lilith Allison)
  207. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  208.
  209. [15:37] Barrachan Vatoris whispers something.
  210. [15:37] Stands by Dun's side. He has his own reasons.
  211. (Luxa Vandran)
  212. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  213.
  214. [15:39] A kick off of the stone has the boy glide through the air and land against the soft snow with a thud, knees bending to negate the impact. A battle was upon them -- a civil war between the Therians to oust the flow of night creatures from thier walls.
  215.
  216. Altair's eyes had been on Luxa from the very beginning, and they do not waver.
  217.
  218. -when the wolf moves to support the elder, so does the cloaked youth...But he has no good intentions for the demon.
  219.
  220.
  221. (Altair)
  222. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  223.
  224. [15:39] It seemed unanimous between Lilith and Revan. Estra wanted to support. She put her hand on her sword. If someone else attacked Revan and got past Lilith she would go for the. She calmed her heart. It cried telling her no, but this is what Revan wanted, and Lilith supported it. She would help only if Lilith couldn't stop someone.
  225. (Estra)
  226. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  227.
  228. [15:41] Tonak just stays out of this for the time being
  229. (Tonak Botcher)
  230. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  231.
  232. [15:42] Athanoti Mälenköch says, "."
  233. [15:43] It did not take longer for the Dragonlord to witness the new day within Theria. It had appeared that things were coming full-circle and that sparks were igniting into potent flames. A disgusting smile appeared on his scarred face as he watched. However, once the people spoke...
  234.
  235. Spoke against Ryujin's sacred right. Honor duel, trial by combat.
  236.
  237. He was beyond reason.
  238.
  239. What foolish nonsense to defy the will of the most ancient Dragon. Barrachan called upon Uner's might and the strength of Alkaio. Mana burst to life through his spinal chord and was taken by his circuits as golden ripples of cosmic might appeared within the air behind him. The Chains of Oppression would be called forth.
  240.
  241. Barrachan had the full intent of oppressing and binding any and all who sought to interrupt this sacred right.
  242.
  243. Dun Task versus Revan Task.
  244.
  245. It was beautiful poetry and the recognition of an Old Flame being challenged by the New Flame. He would see it done. Revan would be given his right by Ryujin, and Barrachan had no doubts that the elder would agree.
  246. (Barrachan Vatoris)
  247. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  248.
  249. [15:43] Misha whispers something.
  250. [15:43] Misha whispers something.
  251. [15:44] Misha whispers something.
  252. [15:44] Misha whispers something.
  253. [15:45] Dun Task would keep his serene visage with cheer as he continued his meditation, the elder seemed to work to actively ensure the magibane didn't aggravate his heart too readily considering his burns and frigidity. Yet, he appeared unangered by his son's words, taking on as ever the visage of a doting father with a click of his teeth.
  254.
  255. "Okay except nothing about what I said was incorrect or made invalid by anything you said. You actually just confirmed it. A small minority, an echo chamber, also known as a new generation personally cultivated by, ding ding, your words, is exactly what I said. Untainted? Are you a celestialist or a Fireblooded, no dragon can be tainted by such concepts. They're beneath them."
  256.
  257. The elder would nod lightly at that with a chuckle.
  258.
  259. "You poisoned me despite the fact I'm already wounded and an old man at that. Are you truly acting as a dragon, fearless, or as a cowardly elf sneaking behind people's backs and trying to handle this quickly while no one's around. Do you think I burned your body with any less than the wounds I bare?"
  260.
  261. Dun would chuckle lightly at that.
  262.
  263. "If you genuinely care for what the people of Theria as a whole think of what I've done, what I've SACRIFICED for this city to ensure the imperialists don't have their way. To keep it free of their influence and laws, their lies and treacheries with sugared words to steal our rights. If that is what matters to you, I will submit myself to a trial of the people."
  264.
  265. The elder would nod firmly at that.
  266.
  267. "But if you're simply trying to jump me while it's easy like Finley Ghede, I will face you."
  268. (Dun Task)
  269. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  270.
  271. [15:46] Naturally- Azshara had been without voice or noise while she simply bathed in the hushed breath of the cold air. Though, it is enlightening to see how Revan makes his move which brought her attention to the spotlight of the spectacle. Family spoke to each other about their varying philosophies but at the end of the day- the result would remain the same. A fight would occur that would change relationships, and alter the course of the storyline.
  272.
  273. A hum that emerged from the silence within her started to slither out through her lips. Golden irises staying upon the Elder Task, and his kin. "I didn't really think it'd be now.." Azshara muttered to herself underneath her breath as she elected to watch instead of directly act as a shield from the honorable customs of Theria.
  274.
  275. Music symbols composed of fluttering wisps of mana started to scatter around the female. A beat starting within the atmosphere as first, there was no lyrics to bless the ensuing battle. Only a dramatic beat of war drums to provide an ambient noise of conflict for this ritual of battle.
  276.
  277. An inevitable duel is surfacing.
  278. (Azshara Ambrose)
  279. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  280.
  281. [15:47] Zion yawns noticing the large amount of group of people.
  282.
  283. "The hell is everyone in the square for, we throwing a parade."
  284.
  285. He said rubbing his eyes.
  286. (Zion Cai)
  287. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  288.
  289. [15:48] Athanoti Mälenköch says, "Dun and Revan are killing each other."
  290. [15:48] Athanoti nods.
  291. (Athanoti Mälenköch)
  292. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  293.
  294. [15:48] Dun Task says, "Just getting assassinated by poison is all, Zion. Carry on."
  295. [15:48] Dun Task says, "Revan here believes this is the will of Theria."
  296. [15:48] Zion Cai asks, "Sarcasm from an old man?"
  297. [15:49] Revan Task says, "No"
  298. [15:49] Lilith Allison says, "No"
  299. [15:49] Revan Task says, "It's the honest truth."
  300. [15:49] What had Raeliana woken up to, precisely? There had been a noise within the square that woke the actual slumbering dragon and she stirred as Revan and Dun prepared to fight each other. The Drakanite woke up in time to hear Dun's words, and it's with a fluttering of eyelashes did she even step closer.
  301.
  302. "... Wait." She spoke - once. Another look was spared between them, before once more Raeliana stepped even closer, nearly between the pair of them. "You don't have to fight like this, you don't." She insisted; eyes widening. Revan had poisoned Dun? She couldn't quite believe it, in the end. "You really really don't."
  303. (Raeliana)
  304. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  305.
  306. [15:51] A violent slam to the ground was warranted for these special occasions, and when he pushed the very strikes against the face of Barrachan, he made sure that every last one was more destructive than the next. Every single punch was registered to just push them back and toss them to the side after it was all over.
  307.
  308. So, now? His eyes were focused on the elder. Seeing that the Rhoynish was in the way was occupied by the demon, he would make sure to focus on saving the Elder Task by any means necessary.
  309.
  310. A spit to the side.
  311. Too close for comfort.
  312. (Pachua)
  313. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  314.
  315. [15:52] Zion stepping out into the arena very much confused in a sense.
  316.
  317. "He is your blood so I am sure you will handle which or whatever the problem may be. Though Revan the old man has two years left..."
  318.
  319. Zion said knowing that his death was sure to come soon anyways.
  320.
  321. "I don't get these squabbles but I'll let you both proceed."
  322. (Zion Cai)
  323. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  324.
  325. [15:57] Fari'aeth says, "From Osorna, Nysea to Theria"
  326. [15:57] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Revan Task}
  327. [15:57] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  328. [15:59] Shiro sitting next to Estra was watching the fight calmly. This was something he was waiting for to watch. He never met his grandpa but he must be strong if Revan could match up to him. At the age he's at he didn't know the true meaning of their fight. The sole reason this fight was happening is because Revan wishes to remove and strip him from his role. But will the man end up dying?
  329. (Shiro)
  330. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  331.
  332. [16:01] Zion Cai whispers: Tonak we need to talk abou the tournament later.
  333. [16:01] At the very least, Dun Task was no longer in danger.
  334.
  335. But... the Archon had a personal stake in Dun's survival; for as long as that was a thing, clearly, the Serpent would not allow him to die so easily- and much as it would be expected, the snake-eyes already stare towards Revan's task.
  336.
  337. He inches close..
  338. Closer.
  339.
  340. "Curious.."
  341.
  342. "Why is it that Dun Task is being poisoned in his own city.."
  343.
  344. Displeasure. It felt like betrayal at hands of some Therians- something that he would foresee.
  345.
  346. But the presence of the Archon is easily felt.
  347.
  348. This night is likely not over for Revan Task yet.
  349. (Morok)
  350. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  351.
  352. [16:02] "You disgusting... batard."
  353.
  354. The fact that the Task lived by any means, only meant that they were worthy of surviving this far. So, seeing that the chance for them to perish actually happened and went by without even a scratch, the rage that he felt was rising.
  355.
  356. Pachua wasn't mad about an honor duel, he didn't have a reason for such a thing to happen.
  357.
  358. Pachua wasn't mad when someone got in the way of doing such, and if it was under the respectful terms of a fair one on one, there wouldn't be a reason for him to actually get involved in this.
  359.
  360. However, it was when they went too far with doing something that was very, very anti-therian. That was when he moved forward with the only intents to beat their face down and ruin them.
  361.
  362. "You poisoned and crippled, old man, and then asked for an honor duel."
  363.
  364. "You're no dragon. You're just a coward that was striving for some relevance in power."
  365.
  366. "I will not tolerate it. I refuse to tolerate it. This is for your title as a 'Priest' you slithering fish."
  367.
  368. The fists went up, and his eyes serpent eyes focused entirely on Revan in their entirety as there wasn't a second guess of his actions.
  369.
  370. Pachua knew that the only way for this horrible mistake to go forth, was with the glory of punching them down, even going forth to mortally wound them if he had to.
  371.
  372. If this was what family as like, they didn't matter. Even in the face of death by Morok, he didn't care.
  373. (Pachua)
  374. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  375.
  376. [16:03] Lilith's heart would be racing as Revan would fight. She wasn't scared that Revan might lose, in fact she knew he had to win. But seeing how close it was at points, and seeing how well the Old Man still fought even with poison in his vein's. It... Surprised her, and garnered respect for the retried Warlord. Even if allying with Demons was unforgivable...
  377.
  378. But eventually, Revan would win. She would rush over to the Area, watching carefully to see what would be done, what would be said, and what actions would be taken. Was this the moment? Was this what she's been waiting for ever since Revan told her about his Father's deeds?
  379.
  380. Yet, she would still have to ready herself. Knowing that there would still be people who wouldn't accept the conclusion of the fight. And She was ready to defend Revan with everything she has. Ready to risk her life in order to see this wish come true.
  381. (Lilith Allison)
  382. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  383.
  384. [16:04] Her eyes were entirely upon the fight itself as Revan and Dun fought within the arena proper. The results left her ambivalent... For she cared for both men equally; they had always encouraged her. Left her to her own devices, and there was a heavy shaking of her head as she regarded the results of it all.
  385.
  386. A glance was offered towards Pachua as he made to challenge Revan, and it was only now that Raeliana spoke up - an arm being brought upwards to stop the winged and feathered Drakanite from fighting.
  387.
  388. "No." She said at once, her own eyes' pupils narrowing into those thin slits as they focused upon Pachua. "This was a fight between them - you shouldn't interfere." She explained. She may have woken up late, perhaps she didn't believe Revan would truly poison someone like Dun... But she knew Pachua couldn't interfere within the fight or the results itself.
  389. (Raeliana)
  390. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  391.
  392. [16:08] E.L says, "*SDgiosdh"
  393. [16:24] Ma' eats crackers out of a bucket
  394. (Ma' Showka)
  395. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  396.
  397. [16:26] His father had set the chaotic flame that burned, but Revan was the one that carefully tended to the tinder that would brighten it's flame for the new generation. Revan had been the slowest Task in his growth, struggling during their Father's training as kids, and running off to see what the world had to offer as soon as he was let off the leash.
  398.
  399. Dun was a man of great power and influence, and there wasn't a thing Revan didn't think his father couldn't do, even as he was fed the powerful poison. Revan still believed that his father was above it, having some immunity to it. It mostly served as a declaration more than anything.
  400.
  401. As they marched to the very arena, his Father's words would oddly enough hit his armor like crumpled paper. He knew they were sincere from the man, but with the path Revan had put himself on, they held no weight. His father would try to cut him down and get in his head before the fight, but the newest Patriarch would follow what he felt to be true.
  402.
  403. Standing against his first Master, this was a test, Revan had studied the old man for well over two decades, copied his techniques to the best of his abilities and adapted his own technique to it. It was a path of pain and struggling, it was the path of determination and will power.
  404.
  405. This was more than just a fight of Father vs Son, this was more than just about the future of Theria, this was their very wills and wishes made manifest and put to the utmost test. The crowd that had gathered would see nothing but a spectacle of martial arts as blows powerful enough to shake the stone walls would echo out. Strikes deflected and redirected.
  406.
  407. Even with poison in his veins, The Clown Prince was nothing to scoff at. He would punish Revan thoroughly for stepping so far out of line. It felt like he was a child again, Dun scolding him for any mistake he might've made during the lesson.
  408.
  409. Yet Revan would let go, the smoldering hole in his chest put by the previous Headpriest would burn as the fight would go on. Revan wasn't in his prime either, but he would let go, letting the mana around him guide him just as his own Father had shown him. Spying how his father masterfully manipulated Revan's energy against him, Revan would emulate him one last time.
  410.
  411. The time of the battle turning in his favor as the rush of azure mana begins to overwhelm the elder Fireblooded until he's eventually left on his knees before the floor. Anger and ambition drove Revan forward, standing above his teacher, his father, and the monster that killed his mother.
  412.
  413. Golden hues of a dragon would burn through his crumpled form as Pachua would spit his own words of anger. And again, the same words that rung out to him when he challenged his father would ring out.
  414.
  415. Don't make the same mistake as me or 'yer father.
  416.
  417. It was the Therian way to kill right there, it was what was done to his sister, and Dun's daughter, yet perhaps it was his wife's influence that would make him think of an alternative. Even if he knew of his father's strength and potential to fight off the magibane, other did not, and would see the act otherwise.
  418.
  419. "The poison was nothing more than a garnish, the underhanded way my father taught me. To work in the shadows and drive the knife deepest when you're at your target's side. I wanted to show him I didn't discard all of his teachings- Yet as I stand over him now, I make a declaration as Patriarch of The Pyrelight Citadel."
  420.
  421. A sharp inhale as he addressed those that might had scrutinized his methods, this was intimately a family affair, and Revan handled in in the most fitting way he thought possible.
  422.
  423. "Dun Task, you are hearby excommunicated from the Fireblooded faith."
  424.
  425. It was all he could do short of killing the man, but why give him the relief of death when he was so old? Part of Revan wished for his father to see what he would do when he usurped him.
  426.
  427. "Never will your soul enter the gates of Vanaheim- not in this life atleast. And with that, The Fireblooded will now mobilize against all demons and their sympathizers. Theria will no longer house their taint, and we will fight them back to the crevices from whence they hid before."
  428.
  429. Making his announcements, he would stand tall, ready to stand amongst his supporters against those that would support his father.
  430. (Revan Task)
  431. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  432.
  433. [16:27] Tonak would then freeze.
  434.
  435. As he would look and go back to poison. Then to Dun. Then to Revan. Did Revan literally pull the same move that killed Yani?! Except without the duel offered but still. Tonak would not say a word but. He knew once Scarlett finds out about the situation. Blood was most likely going to be spilled further but Tonak would simply move out the way.
  436.
  437. After all he was a merchant.
  438. (Tonak Botcher)
  439. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  440.
  441. [16:27] "You don't have the power to excommunicate anyone you son of a bitch!"
  442.
  443. That anger that was born, and the anger that was rising was only going to give forth as he was soon stopped by Raelianna. Right now, the only thing that he wanted was a simple way to stop this all from happening.
  444.
  445. He had to.
  446.
  447. This was his plight, and if someone who dares consider them anything higher than a coward in Pachua's eyes tries to use their own power to remove someone, then he would go forth to rectify it.
  448.
  449. In Pachua's eyes, Revan had no right.
  450.
  451. "Move!"
  452.
  453. He wasn't holding back anymore. He was going to swing.
  454. (Pachua)
  455. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  456.
  457. [16:29] Kaya is eating jerky while watching this entire thing unfold. Good times.
  458. (Kaya)
  459. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  460.
  461. [16:30] Estra smiled with joy as Revan announced his words. Her hand firmly on her sword watching the area around him ready to strike down anyone who dared to get to close.
  462.
  463.
  464. She was among the weaker of the people in this room, but even a moment that she could buy would be enough to help. She was determined to do so. Happy that at least so far no one had died.
  465. (Estra)
  466. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  467.
  468. [16:30] Xyth looked toward Revan And the fight that finished rather swiftly.
  469.
  470. Though from the battle, it seemed Revan gave his all, but held back from hurting his father. Though from it all, Xyth seemed to understand for a moment why Revan did all this.
  471.
  472. Though, Xyth was just a doctor, he wanted to make sure that if anyone got hurt, he was there to help them out.
  473.
  474. Though, he wish he had some food, his stomach was getting a little cranky. Shouldn't have gone the morning without food
  475. (Xyth)
  476. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  477.
  478. [16:31] Luxa knew this would happen and wanted to help Dun more. But it was time for him to go. Especially now that Revan had decreed that Theria was now off-limits to demons.
  479.
  480. Moving in closer he would attempt to snatch Dun and run.
  481. (Luxa Vandran)
  482. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  483.
  484. [16:31] The loud sounds of two magi's clashing can be heard shake the whole arena. Shiro was watching carefully knowing for sure that his non-blood father would win the fight. He had seen his strengths a time or two and could tell that the old man by now could be slipping in strength.
  485.
  486. The words that Revan shouted as he was removing the old man from his place could be heard as a mighty roar through the room. Everyone got super close to the zone in where Revan stood so Shiro's first action was to run towards Lilith to stand by her side.
  487.
  488. He held the handle of his blade with a strong grip ready to unleash it on anybody that were to attack his mother or sister standing besides him.
  489. (Shiro)
  490. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  491.
  492. [16:31] Grabs dun in his mouth and speeds outta Theria.
  493. (Luxa Vandran)
  494. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  495.
  496. [16:32] Athanoti would raise her head with the inspiration from his words. It's finally here.
  497.
  498. Holy war has been declared. Her plasmatic aura would violently combust around her, full of anticipation and hatred to the supporters of the demons.
  499.
  500. Athanoti would raise her sword into the air, using explosions to amplify her voice for the rest of the Fireblooded supporters to hear that it is time.
  501.
  502. It is time for an excursion.
  503.
  504. "LET US MOVE, BROTHER AND SISTERS OF THE SWORD! FOR RYUJIN!"
  505.
  506. The primal roar of a Rhonyish fills the surroundings as she charges at the nearest demon, which would be Luxa.
  507.
  508. And with that, they will be put into their place.
  509.
  510. "GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE YOU DEMON SCUM!"
  511.
  512.
  513. (Athanoti Mälenköch)
  514. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  515.
  516. [16:32] get the fuck down, you dumb dog
  517. (Athanoti Mälenköch)
  518. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  519.
  520. [16:33] And the battle between father and son took place. Dun even if weakened by old age, injuries and poison! He showed strength until the end, fighting bravely. But in the end, Revan was the one who emerged victorious.
  521.
  522. Anlaufr did not respect the use of Magibane in a confrontation, a duel. However, as Revan himself just said, it was a strategy he had learned from his father, so he applied against the same.. Still, it is not a very good thing to do..
  523.
  524. Now, the denial of a warrior's right to enter Vanaheim.. That was already a bit much, especially given Dun's old feats. Where given all these facts, now chaos would settle in Theria.. Oh dear.
  525.
  526. "Here we go.." He murmured again through his teeth.
  527.
  528. Anlaufr's support, even with all this happening, was still with Revan. So, he would help him if needed now.
  529. (Anlaufr)
  530. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  531.
  532. [16:33] chases luxa (omit)
  533. (Shiro)
  534. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  535.
  536. [16:33] A deep inhale was given as her pile remained softly on her mouth, a sigh of relief upon the end of the fight, the Drakanite woman drove her gaze all across the square where many gathered, mainly however, she would have her attention on the Wind Drakanite that manifested his will, a light arch of her eyebrow was brought upon, immediately, showing herself to be rather upset. "It doesn't matter."
  537.
  538. "This is NOT abour honour. It is nothing more than the holy duty of anyone that follows the teachings of Ryujinite faith and holds the slightest of his flame in one's heart. Allying with the enemies of the Spirit Lord is worse than lacking honour, it's worse than jut heresy." She points out as steps were given to stay in their way. Pointing towards the bald man while she extended her wings to act as a 'shield', no one was to interveine on that matter.
  539.
  540. "Most of the Task family dragged the Dragon's city to a way because of their personal opinions and affiliations, to the point of commiting not just one but two serious sins, the first one was of being an ally to the followers of the Dark Lord, the second one was the aliance with those who murdered one of the Ancient Dragons, a children of Garljing." Only then she shifted her eyes towards the few Demoniac creatures that lied all acros the place where this scene was happening at.
  541.
  542. "This isn't just a political conflit. This is a Holy Crusade. Against all of those that defy or disort the Fireblooded faith like that old man did." Just now, then, she'd rest her eyes over Pachua again. "Revan is not doing this for political power, it's because this is the will the ones above us."
  543. (Anguisa)
  544. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  545.
  546. [16:33] Krom would watch, idly flipping his coin as always, the battle was intense even though the elder was poisoned, a true testament to his strength.
  547.
  548. But strength was not the only thing a leader needed. He needed a sound mind, and that was something that the clown king seemed to lack in the eyes of his son, and many of the others present.
  549.
  550. Krom knew this would most likely lead to immense bloodshed. Krom slowly took the trident from his back into his hands, glancing around at his fellow citizens, wondering whom would support who.
  551.
  552. Krom looked towards Barrachan, attempting to lock eyes with his friend, wondering what he would do. Krom made no movements, but he stood weapons ready. Krom never cared for demons, they were the reason his arm was scarred, and his soul was tainted. He'd stand with Revan if need be.
  553. (Krom Bellator)
  554. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  555.
  556. [16:33] Traitors.
  557.
  558. When they were so close to pushing aside Myllenoris and forcing the progress unlike any other to this land.. were they going to condemn this land as something that could only follow the orders of Myllenoris? The orders of static policies?
  559.
  560. "You are a fool, Revan Task - and a cowardly one, to poison your own father."
  561.
  562. "Your father has fought for the freedom of this land, for evolution of humanity that could rid you all of the endless flaws that enforce stagnation and rule under the thumb of another."
  563.
  564. "Any that follow the static order would rather sink themselves in peaceful stagnation - and you are an abomination to the Task family."
  565.
  566. The shadows swirl. The immense power of the Archon would make its presence here- to allow this foothold to be lost is not something that was within his plans. Here, the deepening shadows would show the full intent of the Serpent..
  567.
  568. The intent to end this treacherous charade.
  569.
  570. "Those that choose to stand by Revan Task will die."
  571.
  572. Without further delay, the Archon stretches the shadows towards Revan.
  573.
  574. To execute him on spot, if he must.
  575.
  576. Right infront of everyone.
  577. (Morok)
  578. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  579.
  580. [16:33] The very second the felinae stepped into the room, he saw his closest friend slaughter his father and declare to the world that demons would no longer be welcome in his precious home.
  581.
  582. Without a hint of hesitation, he sprinted towards Revan and used his shield to block any and all surprise attacks from those who didn't like the future that they were going to create, it would be one without demons or anything that dared desecrate their mountain or harm those dragons that they were ready to die for.
  583.
  584. "COME CLOSER, HERETICS! I DARE YOU!
  585.
  586. A protective circle of flame burned around him as bright as it could and none would get anywhere near him without facing a fight.
  587. (E.L)
  588. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  589.
  590. [16:33] Revan gets protected: the cinematic experience
  591. (E.L)
  592. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  593.
  594. [16:33] Thunder was withdrawn from her side, and while she seemed initially ready to fight, with her sword being held upwards. Yet, something stopped her and paused her blade. It was lowered...
  595.
  596. And Raeliana sidestepped away from Pachua, turning towards Revan all at once. She regarded the Patriarch quietly, her lips pursed curiously, and there was a shake of her head.
  597.
  598. "Why worry about the Demons? We're WINNING this war, Revan!" She spoke, earnest and true. Much more mature compared to five years ago when she had been such an incompatible soul to Theria. She had grown to fit in nicely and now her entire way of life was being turned upside down.
  599.
  600. "... Myllenoris will see us all die out; our flames, gone..."
  601. (Raeliana)
  602. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  603.
  604. [16:33] A few steps back were taken. The declaration from Revan was more lenient then Sapphire expected, though it still followed along the same line of thinking. Such a thing would not come with interference though, the drakanite observing the crowd as she retreated abck to what she assumed as as safer distance. She was in no state to throw her hat into a fight of course.
  605.
  606. A hand would reach over towards Haku pushing him forward. She had already expressed her desires to him, though perhaps she felt he needed a little encouragement to get involved.
  607. (Sapphire Arborea)
  608. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  609.
  610. [16:34] By all accounts, Altair only had a vague understanding of what was transpiring in this conflict- The players behind the game, the stakes and all that was involved. Dun Task claimed the demons, much like in ages past, were an asset in Theria's fight against the world and all kingdoms south of the great mountain, while Revan championed that humanity must fight for its own stake rather than relying on dangerous, wild beasts with an agenda against their prosperity...
  611.
  612. ...But for Altair, it's the ache of his body that comes to mind. The wobble of his knees as the slight teenager watched it escalate further.
  613.
  614. The younger Task was victorious in their honor duel, employing poison to secure his victory.
  615.
  616. Would it hold up?
  617.
  618.
  619. Altair glanced to Ife distractedly. A grateful nod followed while he made to peel back the black hood, letting his mess of wavy black hair escape, and two alert blue eyes peer forward. "...A mess, yeah. That's what thisis- that's what this world is. This is what..."
  620.
  621. "The war brought."
  622.
  623. Chaos.
  624.
  625. Family and friends turning on one another.
  626.
  627. Opportunists like Pachua trying to seize the moment through force.
  628.
  629. ...
  630.
  631. The boy stood on the sideliens of it all, and he finds himself suffocating. The whorl of anxiety inkled at his stomach. He's so weak- what can he do? How can he help?
  632.
  633. Is just surviving enough?
  634. (Altair)
  635. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  636.
  637. [16:38] With Pachua engaging towards Revan, a mere moment is looked into- a Rhoynish woman that once claimed the cause behind Nightbound, now lingering about for years without action.
  638.
  639. "Were you not retired?"
  640.
  641. "Doesn't matter. I'll kill you first."
  642.
  643. The shadows extend towards Athanoti, and snatch her out of the way while she attempts to assault an inferior Demon, Luxa.
  644.
  645. "Die."
  646.
  647. The sword swings towards her first, intending to execute her.
  648. (Morok)
  649. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  650.
  651. [16:38] come here.
  652. (Morok)
  653. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  654.
  655. [16:39] Lilith would smile proudly as Revan would stand over his Father. Over the figure that Lilith herself had to make sure stopped influencing Revan to do something he would regret. She's spent time with Revan for over a decade, she knew of his plight, of his pain. And it was now that she was prepared for change, prepared for something great to happen.
  656.
  657. Standing by Revan's side, she would look at the demons and the people around Revan. Ready to stop anyone who would engage her husband. Even if she were to lose, even if she were to die.
  658.
  659. "The time for change is now. For too long have the demons stayed within the proud walls of Theria. For too long they have overstayed their welcome in our lands."
  660.
  661. This was the thing that was delaying her marriage, her happiness, her goals. This was something that stopped her from being truly happy, it was something she's been keeping inside for so long. This was something she had to do.
  662.
  663. "The time for change is now. It's time for the demons to return from whence they came..."
  664.
  665. "To Hel"
  666. (Lilith Allison)
  667. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  668.
  669. [16:39] Fari was glad this was happening.
  670.
  671. "Good easy picking for us." He say as this was a perfect time to pick up a test subject. Taking his axe off his back.
  672.
  673. Fari'aeth would smile. He was going to have fun.
  674.
  675. "THEN LETS FIGHT!"
  676.
  677. He look at Dax in his mind. "Is this what you vision so much before to see them rise? Then I will make sure to hunt each Therian down after this. First lets start with your student."
  678.
  679. Lilith would see a axe flying towards her with aggressive speed.
  680. (Fari'aeth)
  681. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  682.
  683. [16:39] Axe is thrown at Lilith
  684. (Fari'aeth)
  685. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  686.
  687. [16:39] The Drakanite picked himself up from the ground. It seemed that things had finally reached the boiling point, and just as he expected the Demons had their own council present for these battles. However, the army he requested had yet to arrive in Theria, and Alabastre had their own ways. Crimson wings flapped briefly as he leaned his head back and raised a claw to slice his face open, literally tearing the seared wound open.
  688.
  689. Gaah, he resounded. A gasp of air taken in as he allowed the crimson blood to fall from his face. Barrachan flapped his wings briefly, and yet despite all that was happening, he had already seen the victor of the Honor duel. While others screamed and complained about nonsense, Their own irrelevant views of an Honor Duel. It absolutely disgusted the Drakanite to see them making excuses.
  690.
  691. Did they assume they were already dragons.
  692.
  693. "Wounds, poisons, none of this matters you blubbering fool. You sound no different than a human child screaming about fairness now. Dragons do not care if they are wounded, do not care if they are poisoned, you will face them all the same. This day Elder Dun proved he was a dragon, but that does not change our ways. He accepted the duel and the outcome is done." Barrachan made clear to Pachua speaking through the bloody scar he gave himself in order to regain use of his tongue.
  694.
  695. The embedded gem would shimmer brightly coursing along his spinal chord as the energy flowed through him. Many warriors were here, yes, many magi of all walks were present in the snowy mountain on this day.
  696.
  697. The wounded Dragonlord looked upon Morok.
  698.
  699. "You stole my treasure, demon, and I will have it back." He proclaimed towards the floating menace that spoke against Revan and all who followed him. A bloody grimace took hold of Barrachan as he brought on that dark influence refusing to deny it. Fighting for another man? No, Barrachan couldn't careless about the dreams and determination of another man. However, Revan fought on behalf of the words from the Dragons.
  700.
  701. "Hear us clearly, Theria. The Grandson of Garljing has already spoken. So long as we aid demons, the Dragons abandon us, Sluthia abandons us. Remember your Restraint. Victory in this war is meaningless if we are abandoned by everything we hold dear to our soul."
  702.
  703. With that, he waits for his opportunity against Morok, the stealer of his most precious treasure.
  704. (Barrachan Vatoris)
  705. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  706.
  707. [16:39] Would gladly catch the Axe, ready to fight whoever threw it at her
  708. (Lilith Allison)
  709. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  710.
  711. [16:40] A rock in a hard place:
  712.
  713. Zion of course hated demons that was a given although they were nothing more than front line fighters in the war to keep his people safe therefore he didn't see a problem with them back then during the fights against Myllenoris and Nysea.
  714.
  715. The Prideful Drakanite had sheer anger and confusion let out at grit of his teeth. It was the ability and the decisions that he needed to make. He did not want demons on the mountain near Dragons for the simple fact of how much problems the tiger demon caused Great Dragon Kyldre, and even taking off the tip of Zion's tail.
  716.
  717. Though considering how long that was ago honor duels should remain honor duels. Poison was something he could not wrap his head around. It was a pure disgrace to everything Zion believed in as well as demons.
  718.
  719. So as you could see now he was stuck in a position that if he were not to act he could let this all bubble and go up into flames. Here as he stood, the shadow of Theria that watches over. The unnamed Dragonlord that operates outside of any power in Theria.
  720.
  721. Zion breathed heavily and as more people proceeded to rebel and start violence he started to speak to himself.
  722.
  723. "This is what happens when you win wars, people have no home training, no one knows how to behave. We begin instead of finding problems with people but more so with ourselves. This is the land of the Dragons. We are not holy we are divine by all means. This is not Nysea and this is not Myllenoris. This ring and this arena is for pure fights and pure fights only and how dare any of you disgrace this arena with petty MOTIVES. This is arena is where blood is shed through pride in STRENGTH."
  724.
  725. As he talked you could see him slowly become more and more untethered. "The demons will be dealt with when that time comes." Zion had already kept an eye on their kind within his city and watched how they became stronger and stronger. Though no fear was in his heart when looking towards him. Therefore the question would be where is his stance even. Where does he lie. Who does he attack.
  726.
  727. "Revan, today I have lost faith and gained pride in you at the same time. If you want to kill your father I don't two shits but you do it under the honor duel and to the death like I, like Sythaeryn, like Rinn, and like any other Dragonlord before me!"
  728.
  729. "Dun you have a couple of thin years left in your life. If this was to the death then so be it but I can't decipher what pisses me off more Demons jumping in to aid and disgracing my heritage or Revan disgracing it himself knowing better."
  730.
  731. "Any one who I see that steps forth to begin what I have experienced in this city more than many times. I will not hesitate to fight you to the death."
  732.
  733. He was angry and this in his eyes was a spit in the face of what he and Sythaeryn had talked about so long ago.
  734. (Zion Cai)
  735. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  736.
  737. [16:40] A breath was taken. He steadies both hands, on both scabbards, and is pushed forward. It stands to be said that his weapons were held within ill intention, yet, he did not move upon it so.
  738.
  739. "I really, really, don't want to have to use these. - So, have a nice battle. But, if someone I care about happens to lose, I'll step in."
  740. (Hayakuen Xie)
  741. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  742.
  743. [16:43] The twirl of bloodlines, old blood versus new blood. It was the very way of the two that brought this family into a spark where a contest of strength would be held. Where one would be usurped, and one would be forced to depart from their ivory throne.
  744.
  745. The heated battle kept golden irises locked on every interlocking movement as Azshara felt forced to hold her breath in anticipation of every single thing inside the city. Occasional glances would reveal the shifting expressions of supporters, and rebels alike in an enveloping swirl of chaos that captured the heart of the nation.
  746.
  747. Once the battle concluded? The war would merely just begin as Azshara would open her mouth after the declaration. That is when she suddenly stopped, and choked out a confused, frail sound as she glanced around. The intense feeling that she felt from the area- It was unlike any she had ever felt before as she fell to a single knee upon the ground. Golden eyes glancing forward towards the source of it all.
  748.
  749. Morok.
  750.
  751. Gritting her teeth, her magic felt cancelled by the gravity of not only just the situation, but the culmination of dark forces. The music uttered a confused, discourteous screech of sounds that painted the atmosphere with its intense flair.
  752.
  753. A brief glance is offered to the Drakanite beside her before her eyes crawled up back towards the source of the tainted magic. Rhoynish blood boiling as she could hear the very voice of her heart beating.
  754.
  755. Azshara would target any demon that made its way to her path. She wouldn't sit idle like she had done in Osrona. Not anymore.
  756.
  757. (Azshara Ambrose)
  758. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  759.
  760. [16:45] Dun would click his teeth together fearlessly as his blackened veins glimmered idly from the poison. The once clown prince of Theria may have borne countless wounds in his time, but he was a fighter to the end, and even poisoned he would not refuse a battle out of fear.
  761.
  762. He had none to bare.
  763.
  764. And yet, the battle was intense, frenetic clashes of boots and fists in a concussive martial arts exhibition worthy of the Task family. His mastery of the kinetic beam was still second to none, and even poisoned Dun kept command of the first half of the battle.
  765.
  766. But between his untreated, burning heart, his age, and the poison, even he could not snatch a victory from his son as he was knocked aside to his knees, falling upon leather pants and not even a cuirass against his son as he faced him with bare flesh, free of all the treasures and arnaments he'd assembled in the world.
  767.
  768. "This was no honor duel Zion. My son poisoned me and then attempted to jump me when no one but his supporters were around to handle me as a Nysean might. He is no longer my son, he is no Fireblooded, and he is no dragon. He has become an elf."
  769.
  770. Dun would nod coldly at that.
  771.
  772. "These demons fought to preserve this city's independence while you cowardly weaklings clutched your blankets and plotted in the shadows. Believing elven lies and clasping moral high grounds that don't exist."
  773.
  774. The old man would wave his hand as he slowly limped away.
  775.
  776. "You reap what you sow. You want to banish the demons from this city? Try it. We shall see if I'm going with them when the bloodflow has dried."
  777. (Dun Task)
  778. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  779.
  780. [16:50] Despite herself, she kind of knows what's going on, too. Despite herself, she's drawn towards all this political garbage- because the cause of the effect that were the fights she was allowed to partake observation of were just...
  781.
  782. Too fun to ignore. Where she does not partake, still there is something vicariously enjoyable about all of it.
  783.
  784. Grander and chaos. Civil war and scales shifted.
  785.
  786. "Listen to all the conviction, the emotion and passion. And all the shameful falsification of it that prescribe only the sate of thinly veiled bloodlust."
  787.
  788. Her grin remains. Her eyes lid heavily. The expression is a tired, or an inebriated sort of countenance painted. This was the nature of a warring state. It was the kind of people who were born from a place that always has battle and does naught but normalize the constant need to step on the weaker to assert oneself as stronger.
  789.
  790. She had experienced it, if only a little. It was forgiving, in a sense. A lot of people here would still be alive at the end of things! Maybe a few wouldn't, but the vast majority would- and is that not always the way things can be.
  791. (Ife)
  792. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  793.
  794. [16:51] The Dragonlord's fierce eyes looked across at everyone and anyone.
  795.
  796. He listened to Dun. "I am aware which is why no matter how much I despise demons I can't side with someone who fights another without pride and honor. What glory is their to worship Dragons when you live as a coward. What glory is their to follow teachings if you poison someone in the worse way. Without pride you are no Dragon. Our Dragons breathe and think in pride, power, and slumber, so much so that they will kill anyone in this room if they are disrespected. I know because Kyldre almost took mine. But instead he blessed me with power, because I had ambition above many."
  797.
  798. "Fight if you choose to but if I set me sights on you be prepared."
  799.
  800. Zion said unsheathing his sword and looking to them all.
  801.
  802. "You have a choice beg for forgiveness, exile, or die with honor."
  803. (Zion Cai)
  804. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  805.
  806. [16:52] Dun Task says, "Well spoken as a true dragon of winter, Zion Cai."
  807. [16:53] Zion Cai says, "And as I said before the demons will be dealt with when the time has come. "
  808. [17:01] The Declaration would be made and all Hel would break loose, Demons and their sympathizers would rush to attack the Horned Priest as he declared Holy War on their kind. Though Revan was not without his allies, and they would leap into the fray to defend him.
  809.
  810. It was chaotic, truly a fire that would ignite Theria into a lively inferno, part of Revan still hoped his Father would find some pride in his son's work- yet there would be none.
  811.
  812. "Many Therians fought to defend our claim- but we only ever had to do so because of the underhanded dealings you were doing in the dark."
  813.
  814. Though the words would be set, as Father was cast from church, son was cast from family. The hollow hole in his chest would feel to swell as if it consumed his heart, but he would stand tall. Zion, The Shadow Dragonlord would stand opposite of him, giving him a choice.
  815.
  816. "I will beg for forgiveness to the dragons themselves. There is work to be done now."
  817.
  818. He'd give his answer, hoping that would be sufficient for the conflicted Dragon Faithful. Though Revan would watch as the old Clown Prince would limp off.
  819.
  820. "Enjoy your last laughs while you can, Father. I intend to turn Theria into the bustling Free State it was when you and Rinn were in control. Theria will stand strong."
  821.
  822. Revan would insist, he was determined in his pursuits, with the support of the people to only push him further.
  823. (Revan Task)
  824. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  825.
  826. [17:03] "... I don't want to listen," the boy quietly admitted, whispery and near silenced. Breathing thinly from his duel with the demonic wolf. "I want it- to stop. Everything." His blue eyes darkened like night time had set upon the ocean, fading with the shadows in the arena. Everything was still as hot and violatile as could be- There was the ascended demon and the feathered drakanite fighting in the distance, all for this...
  827.
  828. "It's too much."
  829.
  830. Raised in slumbering peace, his village's upbringing gave him a soft outlook, where here, right now, all of this was madness. The winter was their biggest worry, back then. Whether or not the harvest would be good, or the taxes too high from the neighbouring warlords.
  831.
  832. A shaky hand steadies against his staff. A wisp of air was taken into his lungs.
  833.
  834.
  835. I don't belong here.
  836. This place- this world- is rotten.
  837. But what can I do about it?
  838.
  839. "...Someone's going to die tonight, aren't they?"
  840. (Altair)
  841. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  842.
  843. [17:09] Listening to Revan's answer it was enough to his suffice, but he had more to say.
  844.
  845. "Why I am disrespected is not because of your quarrel with your father. That is none of my concern, but when you bring supporters and a swarm of shit and disgrace into my arena, that is something I will kill over. There are not to many things that upset me, but this is one."
  846.
  847. "And to the few who are outside or near and about fighting, if they don't submit or leave entirely they will die by my hands."
  848.
  849. The Dragonlord Zion breathing heavily.
  850.
  851. "To think I have watched Drakanites die on the frontlines with me and have killed one in this arena because of his pride and to have it disgraced like this. I have half a mind to take someones arm off, but not yet."
  852.
  853. He said slowly calming down and putting his sword back up.
  854.
  855. "The next outburst I see like this that flips my pride upside down there will be a slaughter."
  856.
  857. "Drag the few back who were fighting as well. Since they think that I was joking and that my service and what I say should be taken lightly. The only reason I havn't struck you down Revan is because your intentions stemmed from a place that was to move Theria in what you believed to be right, however it just so happens that your decisions had one mistake."
  858.
  859. "Where are the others who fought?"
  860. (Zion Cai)
  861. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  862.
  863. [17:13] "Probably." A glance at long last is cast to the person she's actually replying to, that lazy gaze upon their visage for only a brief moment or two. She's keeping most of that attention forward. Lots of righteous speech. Fights had splintered away, and yet many had remains at the nucleus of the confrontation, the source.
  864.
  865. It was something she found herself unwanting to look away from, and she shared no such sympathies with the young man next to her. She was raised in no slumbering peace. All of her young life had only been the winter, the harshness of the colder side of the mountain.
  866.
  867. Theria was practically warm, what with all these dragons about.
  868. (Ife)
  869. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  870.
  871. [17:15] Morok shifts his attention back towards the situation with Revan Task.
  872.
  873. While Athanoti is struggling with the Damned that are trying to drag her to Helheim- it is evident that she was cast aside.
  874.
  875. "Now.."
  876.
  877. "Where was that coward?"
  878. (Morok)
  879. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  880.
  881. [17:20] "Of course," Altair replied softly, his voice near monotone now. It was something he needed to get used to- Fresh to the blood sport of man, the boy's oceanic eyes narrow in front and center.
  882.
  883. A small smile is forced. Slight, faint. Barely there.
  884.
  885. But during these times, such a gesture is a necessity.
  886.
  887. "..Right, I'm Altair, by the way. Wanderer. Boy on a mission." He breathed a sigh out despite the claim, feeling as aimless as the scattered winds. Stranded on a raft in the ocean, stuck in a storm. Maybe surviving is enough for now.
  888. (Altair)
  889. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  890.
  891. [17:21] Not even her is scared of what she is fighting. A bastardly child, a demon king, or even a fucking snail. It doesn't bother her.
  892.
  893. She intends to fight with the same spirit, no matter what. It's what she's born for.
  894.
  895. With each piece of flesh that was taken from her, the flames around her grew brighter and brighter. To the point of blinding a man permanently. Thought, magis aren't normal so it isn't a problem for now.
  896.
  897. Even with all the pain she was in, she wouldn't faulter. A life of pain teaches that to somebody.
  898.
  899. Until, the damned take her arm and she lets out a ear-piercing roar, something of a lion on steroids would let out.
  900.
  901. Not even the damnations could drag her back. She utilizes her Nyeshk fist effectively, beating each one of them down to the ground in seconds of them grabbing her.
  902.
  903. "Insolent worm.
  904.
  905. Woulda' thought 'y would of done more than that, you pussy." She grows a grin as she kneels back down to the ground, looking at her festering arm.
  906.
  907. She remembers what happened last time her arm got corrupted. And she slices it clean off, flinching a bit but not much else.
  908.
  909. She cauterizes the wounds so she doesn't bleed out thought.
  910. (Athanoti Mälenköch)
  911. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  912.
  913. [17:23] Arch had informed him a duel occurring within the square of Theria, and of course Jaeger saw it fit to investigate. It didn't take long before the panther stumbled across the scene, Revan announcing his intentions to overthrow his father.
  914.
  915. Interesting to say the least.
  916.
  917. "Huh."
  918.
  919. There were a few he recognized, most of which sided with demonkind in the ongoing war against Myllenoris and Nysea. Though some were new faces, likely those who supported Revan in his ideals.
  920.
  921. Jaeger would continue to observe for now, maybe once he learned more he could act upon the situation.
  922.
  923. "I wonder..."
  924. (Jaeger)
  925. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  926.
  927. [17:30] The words did not carry the suffering that would likely come from him seeking the dragons out for forgiveness- a mission that already seemed doomed to start as a honor was not something simply given. However, with his Task name stripped from him, and the expectations with it, Revan would feel as if something was missing from him.
  928.
  929. Yet still he stood.
  930.
  931. The angered fire within him tempered amongst the chaos about him, Zion's word were allowed to reach him more deeply as he tried to dissect it. His anger did not stem from whatever went down between the two Tasks, but instead how it was handled. Again he was criticized for only having supporters around, and Revan would throw his arms open.
  932.
  933. "Only my supporters? Look at this. This is revolution. I gave the tea publicly and made my claim. Demons and Therians each rallied. I apologize for how it happened, Zion, but this has been a powder keg that has been left untended for far too long."
  934.
  935. Perhaps it was the draconic pride instilled in him that ignited his words as he defended himself once more. Yet he still had more to say as he turned his proclamation to the crowd.
  936.
  937. "Though let it be known that was my last dastardly and unhanded move, my father puts on an act- but Tasks have no sense of honor. Tasks do their dealings in the dark pulling the strings, they are nothing more than snakes. So with that act, it was my last as a Task. Stripped of my name, I dedicate my being to the Fireblooded and the Dragons, and I will do everything I can to redeem my honor to you, Zion."
  938.
  939. Though the demons would push through, as they were apt to do, and Morok would turn his attention back to his horned visage.
  940.
  941. "I am no coward, demon, and I will face you here."
  942.
  943. He could not ask his fellow Fireblooded to do what he would not himself, and though he was still carried his own grievous injuries, he would turn and take his stance t ensure the crusade would live on.
  944. (Revan Task)
  945. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  946.
  947. [17:32] "You can face that demon if you get through me, Revan."
  948.
  949. "I refuse for you to refuse me, when the sin you've made right here in front of everyone still lingers."
  950.
  951. His serpent eyes went to a blink as he looked over towards Morok, only letting his claws fully come out in full. He fought through many to get to this particular man for a damned good reason, and to have it taken away by anyone else wasn't happening.
  952.
  953. This was his plight.
  954.
  955. His Religion.
  956.
  957. His goal.
  958.
  959. And he was taking it all by force."
  960. (Pachua)
  961. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  962.
  963. [17:36] Bold words of bravado.
  964.
  965. Whom do they help? Is it made to let Revan feel better about what he performed, or is it a necessity for him to believe that he's doing the right thing? As far as he could tell, this is an act of desperation..
  966.
  967. "You poison your own father before a duel.."
  968.
  969. "Yet you actually try to speak of this fickle 'honor', so you claim?"
  970.
  971. Humans could never amount to anything with their incessant pleas for retribution; they could never amount to anything with their own strength, and it is why they resort to petty tactics like these. But in the end, it won't be of any help to Revan, no.
  972.
  973. It would be his end.
  974.
  975. "But--"
  976.
  977. It's not too long before his eyes turn towards Pachua. Another one, a young drakanite, willing to face against Revan? It almost causes him to smile.
  978.
  979. It almost causes him tolaugh.
  980.
  981. "I see.."
  982.
  983. "Perhaps, there are some worthy specimen around here."
  984.
  985. The shadows warp- they create an area for Pachua and Revan to fight; and as much as the Serpent was more than convinced that experienced Revan Task would be able to take on a young drakanite..
  986.
  987. If he could not? This would be laughable.
  988.
  989. "Go, then, young drakanite."
  990.
  991. "Remove the head of somebody who would rather let your city sink to the ways of another - to stagnation within peace that brings nothing but breeds incompetence."
  992.
  993. The being of immense power, the Serpentine Archon, now had all of his attention upon Pachua. Whether he would disappoint or not in this combat remains largely irrelevant..
  994.
  995. He already impressed him more by willing to do this - unlike snivelling cowards that bide their time in the corners of a city, likerats.
  996.
  997. "Take your future, child."
  998.
  999. "It's waiting, right infront of you."
  1000.
  1001. (Morok)
  1002. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1003.
1004. [17:38] As Zion seemed pleased listening to what he said one thing did make him smile. "A revolution." Zion shortly laughed. "I have been in those, Bastiel executing people within the streets, Lynnette killing her own people on the mountain due to Bastiel. Sythaeryn slaying the previous Dragonlords. People abandoning Theria. Those are revolutions that approach, this is something no other than a disagreement that you folks don't understand how to operate within."
  1005.
1006. Zion now sighed and removed his masked to show his more so cold and dead face. Looking to the onlookers and the others talking.
  1007.
1008. "You all can fight only within honor and pride in this arena, and the challenges are only commenced if two accept to it. Violent and Deadly battles pick your poison."
  1009.
1010. He then looked to Dun. "To soon." He said nudging the old man.
  1011.
1012. "Alright I understand everyone in this room disagrees with something so you can settle this now with the pride and honor that you better have. Or wait till the day of the tournament and fight it out there for all cities to see. Bask in that glory or defeat."
  1013.
1014. "As for the demons, you as well will operate like this in my city. Your power should come with pride when you are here. Let that be known. You talk with action, you fight with pride and from this point on keep it that way. That is the same very disease Sythaeryn and I along side others fought against when this place was stagnant."
  1015. (Zion Cai)
  1016. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1017.
  1018. [17:38] Raeliana says, "...."
1019. [17:39] Morok the eyes dart to Zion, unamused; the Archon would only say this once.
  1020. (Morok)
  1021. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1022.
1023. [17:39] Morok says, "Drakanite. Your enemy is right before you - one who would surrender this city to Myllenoris, and let them purge and acclimate this place to another culture."
1024. [17:39] Morok says, "The challenger to false prophet is right there - a young drakanite."
1025. [17:40] Morok says, "Let them fight."
1026. [17:40] Dun Task says, "If Pachua seeks to fight for the rights to the patriarchy of the Fireblooded."
1027. [17:40] Dun Task says, "It is just."
1028. [17:40] Dun Task says, "That is the core of this conflict."
1029. [17:40] The Serpent eyes blink towards Zion, only shaking his head.
  1030.
1031. "Get the fuck out of my god damn way. Don't tell me what to do. I'm here for one thing, and I'm taking it."
  1032. (Pachua)
  1033. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1034.
1035. [17:40] Dun Task says, "Mind my quiet, I am still a bit poisoned over here."
1036. [17:40] Dun Task says, "The boy must spread his wings Zion."
1037. [17:40] Dun Task says, "This will decide things."
1038. [17:41] Zion Cai says, "Pachua"
1039. [17:41] Zion Cai says, "Apologize or I will remove your arm"
1040. [17:41] Morok says in telepathy, Just so you're aware.
  1041. [17:41] Altair says, "..."
1042. [17:41] Pachua asks, "Don't you have a pillow to sleep on?"
1043. [17:41] Morok says in telepathy, Even if this young drakanite is defeated, I will remove Revan's head regardless.
  1044. [17:41] We flying
  1045. (Zion Cai)
  1046. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1047.
1048. [17:41] Dun would nod silently to himself with an approving smile, mysteriously taking a drag from his corncob pipe.
  1049. (Dun Task)
  1050. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1051.
1052. [17:42] Tries to calm Zion down.
  1053. (Tonak Botcher)
  1054. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1055.
  1056. [17:42] we flying again
  1057. (Zion Cai)
  1058. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1059.
1060. [17:42] snatch zion with shadows.
  1061. (Morok)
  1062. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1063.
1064. [17:42] Raeliana moved, stepping back from between the fight of Pachua and Revan. She'd look between them both. In truth, Raeliana didn't wish to see Dun hurt, exiled - or anything. But the same could be said for Revan as well.
  1065.
1066. The Drakanite was unsure of herself in that moment.
  1067.
1068. Then - Zion moved for Pachua and her eyes widened.
  1069. (Raeliana)
  1070. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1071.
1072. [17:42] Pachua says, "Thanks, Demon."
  1073. [17:42] zion stop it!
  1074. (Jaeger)
  1075. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1076.
1077. [17:42] The Archon snatches Zion mid-air with the shadows; for all intents and purposes, he would either have to face the Archon..
  1078.
  1079. Or calm down.
  1080.
  1081. "Settle your differences later."
  1082.
1083. "Your pride can wait in the face of something more important."
  1084. (Morok)
  1085. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1086.
1087. [17:43] What are you doing step Zion? (omit)
  1088. (Krom Bellator)
  1089. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1090.
1091. [17:43] E.L stands there with his shield right beside Revan, unmoved but awkwardly silent.
  1092. (E.L)
  1093. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1094.
  1095. [17:44] Athanoti limps away.
  1096. (Athanoti Mälenköch)
  1097. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1098.
1099. [17:46] "Ife. A wanderer, on no such mission. Only a moving, shifting curiosity." The reply comes a touch belatedly, as these dragons do continue to joust displays of their own chivalries and pomp, the things of pride make purposeful in their own worlds. The dances of world that she has no directive part of, but that she watches.
  1100.
1101. Esshar is a cute place. It waxes to new extremes with every place she visits and every new happening that she stumbles upon. But at the center, always, is the need for battle, active or just scarcely lying in wait in the value of strengths on display as a means to take what one wants, impose wills and claim more now than there was before.
  1102.
  1103. What Ife wants, then?
  1104.
1105. She asks herself, but does not answer herself so clearly. Instead, smoke fumes through nostrils, and her grin recedes into something smaller, a smile gentler.
  1106. (Ife)
  1107. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1108.
1109. [17:46] "It seems I need to make an example of why I am the shadow of this city. Don't fucking toy with me. I am not your father, mother, brother, sister, neither."
  1110.
1111. As Morok were to pursue him and prevent him from engaging a battle with Pachua.
  1112.
1113. "A demon, in my city, stopping me from acting out my justice." Zion sighed and unsheathed his sword.
  1114. (Zion Cai)
  1115. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1116.
  1117. [17:48] "This the entertainment I need."
  1118.
1119. Jaeger looked to the crowd for a moment before moving to watch the battle in front of him.
  1120.
1121. "If anyone else tries to be amusing and interrupt either of these battles, I'll happily rip you in two."
  1122.
1123. "Just let I be known."
  1124.
1125. And so the panther walked off to the side, it was time to enjoy the festivities.
  1126. (Jaeger)
  1127. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1128.
1129. [17:49] Revan Task whispers something.
1130. [17:49] Hayakuen Xie says, "I don't tend to agree with Demons much, but I agree."
  1131. [17:49] "A demon..?"
  1132.
1133. Clearly, Zion did not understand whom he's addressing. This was not just a 'demon' that he would be addressing; this would be the absolute of Esshar in the times to come- this would be the solution to humanity's woes, and it would be something to evolve them.
  1134.
1135. "It is Morok to you. The Archon."
  1136.
1137. "You will find out the folly of your ways."
  1138.
1139. Where the sword is unsheathed to cut against the Serpentine Archon, the reality itself seems to shift; the manifestation of the Damned, trying to pierce through the gates to the Helheim, conjured through the complex runework and arithmancy alike.
  1140.
1141. Fed by the crystal of Lady Erie's Greed.
  1142.
  1143. "You will be silenced."
  1144. (Morok)
  1145. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1146.
1147. [17:51] Barrachan Vatoris whispers: Hmm. if I am needed to fight, I will fight regardless of these injuries.
1148. [17:53] The slight boy, once hooded and cloaked, pries a vial of healing liquid out of his jacket and slips it to Barrachan. "Take this; it'll numb your wounds," the mysterious teenager states simply, before slipping off elsewhere after passing on the potion to Barrachan. He spoke of returning some sense of order and civility to these wild lands, after all.
  1149.
  1150. ... Maybe it'd help.
  1151. (Altair)
  1152. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1153.
1154. [17:54] Tonak honestly was relax during the whole matter. Most would wonder why the man didn't even seek to act or really join in the situation.
  1155.
1156. Yet, why would he? Tonak saw this a family feud and one thing he doesn't get involved in. Family drama of course."
  1157.
1158. His tail swish from side to side.
  1159.
1160. "Ahh this situation is gonna cost a lot of coins to fix the damage." Tonak would sigh. "Should have brought my crimson for this situation.
  1161. (Tonak Botcher)
  1162. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1163.
1164. [17:55] Tonak honestly was relax during the whole matter. Most would wonder why the man didn't even seek to act or really join in the situation.
  1165.
1166. Yet, why would he? Tonak saw this a family feud and one thing he doesn't get involved in. Family drama of course.
  1167.
1168. His tail swish from side to side.
  1169.
1170. "Ahh this situation is gonna cost a lot of coins to fix the damage." Tonak would sigh."Should have brought my crimson for this situation."
  1171. (Tonak Botcher)
  1172. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1173.
1174. [17:58] Dun Task whispers: You are a precious dwarf, and forgiven Anlaufr.
1175. [17:58] Altair asks, "..That silver-winged drakanite is strong. What's his name?"
1176. [17:59] Pachua says, "Hell if I know."
1177. [17:59] The boy was watching two warriors that were out of his league and then some fight. It was difficult to keep track of. But he had a feeling that these two were likely the strongest in the room.
  1178. (Altair)
  1179. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1180.
1181. [18:00] The wounded Dragonlord looked at the boy as the elixir is presented. His gaze briefly moving from his kin who fought against a demon that dared challenge the allowances of those who ruled the Mountain. "I see. It is strange to give without reason to take." He regards towards the boy before looking upon the battle.
  1182.
1183. He took a moment to drink the potion in anticipation of what would come by the end of all this.
  1184. (Barrachan Vatoris)
  1185. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1186.
1187. [18:00] Pachua says, "Now that -THAT- is out the fucking way."
  1188. [18:01] Anlaufr says, "Mm."
1189. [18:01] {Item} You picked up Venom. Dropped by Anlaufr..
1190. [18:01] Dun Task says, "Thank you, I needed some venom to mix up wit hthe poison."
1191. [18:01] Dun Task says, "Dilute it a bit."
  1192. [18:01] Anlaufr says, "Aye."
  1193. [18:09] Someone worthy.
  1194.
1195. Someone who would be actually worthwhile of standing before the Archon and showing their might to him- for as far as he could tell, this was no ordinary man that could be easily opposed - even if he lacked the necessary obedience in order to silence himself.
  1196.
1197. But the Archon feels it.
1198. The Archon can tell of the power behind his sword.
  1199.
1200. With how it slashes against his body and how the blood spills, there's an expression of a shock and pain that is placed upon his face- soon to be replaced by genuine.. satisfaction?
  1201.
  1202. "Hahahaha.."
  1203. "Ahahaha!"
  1204.
1205. "You bastard. You almost got me. I even feel those wounds."
  1206.
1207. For as far as he could tell, this is something that left the Archon satisfied with the warrior's performance. The deepening shadows, however, would soon strike back- if only to bring him down before the Archon.
  1208.
  1209. "Still.."
  1210.
1211. "Not enough! Not enough at all."
  1212.
1213. And it is here, where the shadows find their way to snatch at the drakanite, he becomes immobilized; the crystal of Lady Erie's Greed sapping at his essence - and in return, unveiling the horrors of Helheim as the Damned reach out to him through the temporary gates.
  1214.
1215. To tear at him, to burn his flesh, to wound him.
  1216.
1217. Until they feasted enough- the Archon's hand reaches out to grasp upon Zio, and soon to drag him along; with surprising physical strength behind his grasp.
  1218.
  1219. "A worthy warrior."
  1220.
  1221. "You will accompany me."
  1222. (Morok)
  1223. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1224.
1225. [18:11] The battle was hard fought he could see that the demon respected his strength by the way in which he moved it did remind him of Irkala. Irkala was different however even though they were quite very much similar.
  1226.
1227. As blades clashed against the clone and even many other things. His battle was off. He was maybe close but very short in this distance in which he was able to attack.
  1228.
1229. He missed out on his chances of actually closing the battle off and finishing the battle in which he would have liked to.
  1230.
  1231. Demon-1 Zion-0
  1232.
1233. "Almost but enough." He said with a slight yell.
  1234.
1235. He took this time to reflect that maybe he hasn't reached the pinnacle of his own abilities. And with that brought into consideration Zion had decided to actually start training again.
  1236.
1237. It was an honor duel, he fought and he lost fair and square. There was no shame upon him. Drakanites tend to be prideful and believe all can be inferior to him so it was an ego checker at this very moment.
  1238.
1239. See visions of hell and having the lingering affect of occult around and near him only made him take a deep breath and then start to reach within his robe and proceed to grab an elixir within his pocket.
  1240.
1241. Coughing just a moment he rubbed his eyes. "Tooo fucking sha." He said coughing in defeat and laughing at the Archon. "You fight like Irkala."
  1242.
1243. "Accompany you?" He said with a slight laugh. "What your demon friends throwing a party?"
  1244.
  1245.
  1246. (Zion Cai)
  1247. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1248.
1249. [18:15] The tempest of the winds would turn and move about as the gentle dance of the Winged Serpent would continue forth. As a slither, the only thing that would come from his hands and palms were the graces of the winds as each struck at the very chest of Revan Task and their entirety.
  1250.
1251. With every strike, the encompassing winds would strike and pursue with the only clear intentions of striking them down and out without any further reason to see them speak; each clash of the winds were met with antoher one, and in the very end, the only thing that would continue and preserve was the every striking distance that came from his palms.
  1252.
1253. With every dance, another strike that pushed them forwards and forwards, leaving only their body to start to realize that they weren't winning this. As a serpent, the only thing that he would do was quick witted strikes that would lead them to their own very doom.
  1254.
1255. Each palm to a pressure point that would weaken them, lower them, fromthe grand height of what they used to be to the very knees as if they were just a single child. With that being said and done, the only thing that would follow was a swift Round house kick that would take off the very helmet they wore and press it onto the ground.
  1256.
  1257. "You lost."
  1258.
1259. The very palm went towards their face, not aiming to do the finishing blow, but to end this very duel that was so up and coming, and with that very word, the following statement.
  1260.
1261. "I'm the one in charge of Pyrelight, and as my first decree, you, Revan ORN Task, are excommunicated."
  1262.
1263. "Dun Task is rewarded Fotia (Saint Hood), not just because of his efforts in preserving Theria for hundreds of years, but also making sure that everyone that is worthy of a weapon, has a weapon, has armor, has a place to consider home.
  1264.
1265. For keeping this place free."
  1266.
  1267. That being said?
  1268.
1269. "If any of you want to fight against the demons, so be it. You are Therian. You are allowed to do as you please whenever you want. It doesn't matter what you worship, or what you care about, but if your belief that they should be pushed back and away, then do so."
  1270.
1271. "I am not in charge of your life."
  1272.
1273. "I am not in charge of your roads."
  1274.
1275. "If you hate the demons, then so be it. Just remember one thing, they helped in making sure that Theria did not fall to the Dragon Slayers west. So, do so in your own avale and with your own lives."
  1276.
1277. Pachua would then go for the ornament that was the helmet, only letting it adorn his belt on the side.
  1278.
1279. "Be free. Do what you want. You're Therian. Just don't count on me to join you in this. I have no stakes."
  1280. (Pachua)
  1281. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1282.
1283. [18:17] By now he isn't sure if it's the wounds the demon inflicted upon him that his legs weak or the overbearing sensation of magical power still thick in the air, making it difficult to breathe. But the boy continues on to spectate the show, his attention shifting to Barrachan momentarily - Would he act, or be a bystander?
  1284.
  1285. Perhaps not.
  1286.
1287. Then again, this upstart, Pachua, was claiming rule over the temple...
1288. --- to simply watch and give in was to admit defeat.
  1289. (Altair)
  1290. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1291.
1292. [18:18] What a sight to behold indeed, though just the very tailend of it.
  1293.
1294. It was stumbled upon, happened upon as they roamed about until seeing such a commotion in the square. Their gaze lights up when hearing of an excommunication, a banishing?
  1295.
1296. Is this the end of a terrible era of Theria?
  1297.
1298. The Fortune Teller hums quietly.
  1299. (Jianyu Xi)
  1300. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1301.
1302. [18:21] Raeliana hummed in response to Pachua's declaration. Her head inclined.
  1303. (Raeliana)
  1304. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1305.
1306. [18:28] Yuri remains at a distance from the action. There was no need for him to get himself in the middle of a situation he knew nothing of, was there? His lips would remained sealed, were it not for the few words he passed to his companion.
  1307. (Yuri)
  1308. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1309.
1310. [18:29] Zion Cai says, "No promises."
  1311. [18:29] Altair whispers something.
1312. [18:33] The crowd would falter and Revan would stand against his next opponent, a drakanite with devouring winds. The two would take to one another like magnets, though there would be little dipping in and out for a moment of reprieve as Pachua's winds would continue to pull Revan into every punch and blow.
  1313.
1314. Taking them in stride, the fireblooded would root himself in the ground to feed his circuits with the natural mana around them. It was kindling to his flame as he sought to smother his opponent in an azure haze of fist and foot.
  1315.
1316. Revan would give it all, even driving his pegleg into the man's gut, but Rinn's blessing would flare within his chest, was it her spirit forsaking him for poisoning their father? Or was it the dragon's fire steering him to the path he belonged?
  1317.
1318. Eventually Revan would be lowered in statured and kicked to the ground, the helm rolling from his head. Revan would lay there as a decree was made, but he would only spit and laugh in response.
  1319.
1320. "Who are you? The Chronicler?"
  1321.
1322. He would pick himself from the ground, golden hues gazing around as he slowly watched as the demon that policed the the mountainside would squash the small crusade, his own excommunication shouted and his father raised to sainthood, he would only shake his head and think back to one word his wife uttered when he tried to defend his family to her.
  1323.
  1324. Madness.
  1325.
1326. "You can make whatever claims you want, the true Fireblooded know who's words hold value, and they know which flame to follow."
  1327.
1328. He spoke calmly as he took a deep breath in, no longer did he inhale the stuffy air of blood, sweat and rust, and he could feel an odd clarity to him for once. Pachua tried to act the more merciful soul by letting him walk the streets of Theria disgraced, but Revan knew better than that.
  1329.
1330. "I will leave Theria stripped of my name, but I will lead those that know the true way. We will fight to reclaim Theria in it's entirety, and I assure you, the dragons will be on our side when Garljing razes Theria again."
  1331.
1332. A glance once again to the helm, it was a relic and a testament of their faith- yet what was once given to him would now have to be earned. Turning, Revan would leave the Arena, disowned, and disgraced from Theria. Yet his ambition burned brighter than ever, his resolved tempered through the heat of his fellow Therian's coming together to make a difference.
  1333. (Revan Task)
  1334. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1335.
1336. [18:39] The Dragonlord warrior is dragged along by the Archon.
  1337.
1338. When a simple question leaves his lips, as to what exactly would be happening to him, there's but a single remark.
  1339.
1340. "That depends on your worth, warrior."
  1341.
  1342. "Now, observe."
  1343.
1344. The Archon rises to his full might- the sweeping aura of death permeates across the area, and the snake-eyes are filled with killer intent that could be placed upon anybody else who steps forth.
  1345.
1346. "Hear me, supporters of Myllenoris. Spineless cowards, parasites and useless worms."
  1347.
1348. "This place has been the hallmark of the freedom. Your elders preserved your own identity, only ever overshadowed by the repugnant few that would rather remain in stagnating peace - pointless, without a future."
  1349.
1350. "But you, poisoned with lies, would rather spit upon all that has been given to you? The opportunity toevolve, to be greater, to make history with your actions?"
  1351.
1352. The Damned mark their presence. From the gates of Helheim that were conjured with stolen essence that still beats within the crystal of Lady Erie's Greed, this place could very well become the grave to more people than expected.
  1353.
1354. Positioned in the air, floating and suspended in levitation, his voice booms further.
  1355.
1356. "This is your last chance."
  1357.
1358. "Repent, and abandon the man that has led you astray."
  1359.
1360. "Or be slaughtered like the cattle you've become."
  1361. (Morok)
  1362. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1363.
1364. [18:41] It's as though they're witnessing something like history, a new chapter revealed as another comes to a close. It's like how Osrona gained a new identity following its siege.
  1365.
1366. Theria may split into two. But what are these sides? One loyal solely to Dragons and Garljing?
  1367.
1368. "Mmh." This was a mere stepping stone. The Fortune Teller watched from the sidelines as the defeated Task makes his way elsewhere, helm devoid of his head, faith and titles seemingly stripped.
  1369.
1370. Does anyone follow? Hands pressed together, short, claw-like nails poking into their skin gently.
  1371.
1372. Waiting... Watching. Lips couldn't help but curl into a pleased smile.
  1373. (Jianyu Xi)
  1374. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1375.
1376. [18:43] Raeliana gazed at Revan in silence. There's a little frown offered towards the idea that Revan would be banished from the city but eventually... The Fireblooded stepped forward, looking so torn on the outside.
  1377.
  1378. Who would she follow?
  1379.
1380. On one hand, Revan had always been kind to her, and she had enjoyed his presence thoroughly. But on the same hand could she truly just leave Theria? It was, at the end of the day, her home.
  1381.
1382. Her steps eventually paused, draconic eyes still watching the action; not picking a side quite yet.
  1383. (Raeliana)
  1384. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1385.
1386. [18:43] The Young woman only witnessed the battles taking place as she had her right hand rested up on her bleeding torso, the bouts being faced with a huge lack of amusement, which wouldn't really be seen as normal for the Dragon that wouldn't ever deny the sight of a good battle. Anguisa no longer had any reason to watch her the battles between those who thouht that going against the words of the Dragons for 'the sake of the city' with a grin on her face.
  1387.
1388. In fact, it all that stood was that disgust that she felt knowing that the now self proclaimed head of the Pyrelight was also there to hear standing besides the enemies of the High Lords was much worse than the sin that Revan himself had commited by lacking pride when it came to fighting his father. That all was a mess, she couldn't do other than just follow the ACTUAL head of the Church in his leave, cursing the Wind Drakanite. "Fool, you are in head of nothing, all you did was hearing from the very mouth of a sacred Dragon that what Theria and the Tasks in charge did was wrong and unwelcome, and that any who states to follow the Pyrelight should be fighting against that evil." She couldn't be madder than she was, that wasn't enough, and not really pleasing. It was so maddening that she could ignore the fact that Revan fought without honor.
  1389.
1390. "They strayed from the path, and much worse than i imagined..." Her lasts words before leaving a city that no longer could be called the home of Ryujin's followers, at least not in her mind, or following the words of his own Grandson.
  1391. (Anguisa)
  1392. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1393.
1394. [18:43] Luxa Vandran says, "*stayed poised at Morok's side, rady to rip the neck off of anyone who approached."
1395. [18:45] Yuri's lips shifted, curving up into a smile when Jianyu's own came to life. He couldn't help it; any ounce of happiness brought to them made his day better both from their happiness and from what comes of such happiness. His eyes trail around. A civil war declared. A few key players stepping up, showing their mettle, and giving off their opinion.
  1396.
1397. The young Radiant knew not where he would stand, but he was convinced it would still be at Jianyu's side. No matter what.
  1398. (Yuri)
  1399. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1400.
1401. [18:46] Barrachan observed the situation closely as it continued to unfold. Revan Task defeated by the Chronicler who would now claim his earned right at the head of the Fireblooded. A low snarl left from his nostrils as the elixir mended his flesh back whole. There were wounds upon him beyond its might, but the most imperative injuries were now gone. Shed of the weakness that had been placed upon him.
  1402.
1403. To see Demons so eagerly insert themselves into the politics of the Mountain, and to see them interject on the rights of a Dragonlord crippled his mentality of his homeland. Freedom was one thing, but these mercenaries and free men were taught once before. Drakanites were here in mass not from birth, but to ensure things did not repeat as they had in the past.
  1404.
1405. "You make these claims towards one who does as the Dragons decreed while you stand there acting great and strong." A sigh left his lips as rage slowly bubbled to the surface. "Theria does not belong to men, Drakanites, warlords, Dragonlords, or Demons!" He voices towards Morok and Pachua both.
  1406.
1407. Barrachan only narrows his eyes further onto the Demon before him. There was opportunity in this moment, yes? He sought this demon for months for their thievery and yet... The situation was not one that could reward his desire. "You have earned what you gained thus far. Dragonlord Zion lies defeated, Revan Task pushed back."
  1408.
  1409.
1410. The young Dragonlord approached Morok and looked to Pachua. "If you would claim any dominion within Theria you will do so as it has always been known. Myllenoris and their ilk make claims but those claims mean nothing here. The demands of the Dragons are the word of God, however.
  1411.
1412. So make it clear, make it known now.
  1413.
1414. Do you dare claim your word greater than the Dragons?"
  1415.
  1416. (Barrachan Vatoris)
  1417. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1418.
1419. [18:46] Dun Task says, "Dragon."
1420. [18:46] Dun Task says, "Singular."
  1421. [18:46] Dun Task says, "A dragon."
1422. [18:46] The dark-haired teenager watched in discomfort, a frown deep against his lips when he listened to the demon speak. Every human instinct told him that this creature was not to be trusted, that they existed solely to bring about ruin. And his encounter with the wolf all but confirmed that.
  1423.
1424. ... Will this place continue to fall, like Osrona does? Where crime is rampant, and lawlessness dominates? Altair had been a victim of such himself.
  1425.
1426. ... - He wants to be inspired, to find hope, smiling people, festivites and games and long summers.
1427. But everywhere there is only war, and evil.
  1428.
1429. "I hate this," he mumbled under his breath.
  1430. (Altair)
  1431. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1432.
1433. [18:47] Lilith would watch the battle, the display of passion between the two. She was rooting of her husband to win, but he's already fought his dad. And she still knew the burns on his body would hinder him from truly winning.
  1434.
1435. Though, in the end Revan would lose. And Pachua would be the one who would excommunicate Revan, and would raise Dun to the status of saint. It was funny really, and a laugh would escape her as she would lose touch with reality for a second.
  1436.
  1437. This really was madness
  1438.
1439. She wanted to fight, wanted to jump at Pachua oh so badly. But she saw the demonic Archon standing beside him, and she knew that she wouldn't be able to do anything... At least not for now. It was time to wait, time to regain their forces...
  1440.
1441. This wasn't the change I wanted to see...
  1442.
1443. But she knew eventually the Demons would have to leave, they have truly overstayed their welcome in Eternia, in Esshar. This was just a small bump on the road to something much greater, to something that had to be done. Indeed... Just because they have lost here, it didn't mean that they would lose the war.
  1444.
1445. Looking at Anguisa she would nod her head, agreeing with her wholeheartedly.
1446. Though it seems like Barrachan wouldn't let the matter rest. A smile forming on her face as she would once again be at the ready if anything were to start once more.
  1447. (Lilith Allison)
  1448. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1449.
1450. [18:51] "I'm going to remind you all, from the mouth of Thorgil and from the mouth of Saint Vartuul…"
  1451.
1452. His eyes came to a simple close and his hands met to his backside...
  1453.
1454. "When Thogril asked Garljing, what is good and what is evil, he only replied with one thing, 'There is only Desire and Restraint. Selfishness is seen as sin, but this is wrong, It's your kind's nature to want. The angeles will tell you to be merciful, be good. Shackle and limit yourself, when a man is only as great as his ambition."
  1455.
1456. With his eyes opening, he would take on the helm and slide it on, only letting a smile come from behind his voice.
  1457.
1458. "I am not good or bad. I'm not righteous, or wicked. I'm Pachua DRAKOS, the Patriarch of Fireblooded Order of the Pyrelight Citadel."
  1459.
1460. "I won, because this is what Garljing wanted. I won, because I have bested the three that came upon my face."
  1461.
1462. "I won, because I do not go to sneak poison into food and drinks like cowards -- but won because my desires and my ambitions triumphed over everyone that stood there."
  1463.
1464. "So, you're right. It's not in charge by a man, human, or drakanite, but by the righteous choices of the Dragons. Nothing more, nothing less."
  1465.
1466. Then, that was when his hands came to close upon his chest.
  1467.
1468. "Revan, you and your family or exiled. Anguisa and Barrachan, you too, are exiled."
  1469.
1470. "If I see you here, I will kill you by myself, personally. I will make sure that your bodies will be used to praise Garljing when we do our walk up to the great north."
  1471.
1472. "Though, I am fair. If you bow right now in front of me, swear yourself to Garljing, I will allow you to come back, to try again."
  1473.
  1474. "Otherwise?"
  1475.
1476. He simply tilts his head over to Morok before turning towardsthe weakened Task.
  1477.
  1478. "Do as you want."
  1479. (Pachua)
  1480. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1481.
1482. [18:53] Irkalla yawns a bit. Watching the scene with idle curiosity...
  1483. (Irkalla)
  1484. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1485.
1486. [18:55] Altair watched pensively. The self-proclaimed head priest of the dragonic religion had made himself clear: Dragonlord Barrachan was to leave now or face him in a battle to the death.
  1487.
1488. ...Another duel, potentially. But was Pachau enough to stand toe to toe with a Dragonlord, someone potentially as strong as Zion? The boy's weary gaze eyed the young, feathery drakanite, wondering if he was more than his boasts and heavy words.
  1489.
  1490. Maybe they'd find out.
  1491.
1492. Or maybe Barrachan would take the coward's way out.
  1493.
1494. Altair bit down on his bottom lip, swallowed, and his fists balled up at his sides, "..You can do it."
  1495. (Altair)
  1496. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1497.
1498. [18:58] Would he challenge them, even now?
  1499.
1500. The fact that Barrachan dares approach closer draws an impossibly wide smile upon the face of the Serpent. He's been waiting for this. For so long, he's been waiting to see what would Barrachan do in the face of all that has happened. And now, when he arrives..
  1501.
1502. "You heard your newly appointed leader, Barrachan. The Dragons want humanity to evolve - to pursue their ambition, to ensure that they become something more than just snivelling cowards laid upon the feet of Teraphim."
  1503.
  1504. "As do I."
  1505.
1506. Yet, the Archon confidently floats towards Barrachan. He knows exactly why he's here. He knows why exactly he chose to confront Morok, of all people- or demons- that could be present out there.
  1507.
1508. "But you're here for a different reason, are you not, Barrachan?"
  1509.
1510. "She calls for you.." 'Veronica'. The word echoes on the back of Barrachan's mind, spoken with telepathy of a Demon.
  1511.
  1512. "She misses you."
  1513.
1514. "And her heart aches for you... or would you rather abandon her, just like Myllenoris had? Once, I already offered their High Lord to free her - to entertain me with aspect of bravery, and whether he's defeated or he wins, she goes free."
  1515.
1516. "Do you know what they did, Barrachan?"
  1517.
1518. "They left her to rot - and fought me anyway. Even with her freedom given to them on a silver plater.. they don't care.
  1519.
1520. Do you feel the eyes of power look upon you?
1521. Do you feel them stare into your soul?
1522. Even now, as the Archon inches closer..
  1523.
  1524. "But I do."
  1525.
1526. Lies, or truth? This is up to the drakanite to discern; this is for him to decide whether it holds any merit or not; and yet, his hands steadily reach out, settling upon the face of the drakanite when he comes closer.
  1527.
1528. They touch upon his features, the snake-eyes staring into Barrachan's gaze.
  1529.
  1530. "Decide, then, Barrachan.."
  1531.
1532. "Will you abandon her too?"
  1533.
1534. "Will you oppose this need for evolution, to oppose stagnation - and leave her behind to rot?"
  1535. (Morok)
  1536. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1537.
1538. [18:58] The chronicler would spit a verse, one of Revan's favorite infact. He once tried the Ookami faith and found the too wolves to cause him to stall more than push for action- it was that very verse that Revan took to heart when he became dedicated to the Fireblooded.
  1539.
  1540. Desire and Restraint.
  1541.
1542. He had defended his claim in battle, and perhaps it was a proclamation of Ryujin, yet intentions were never properly stated, so his claim could be seen as illegitimate. Yet Revan would continue to rally the true supporters to his side as he began his walk out.
  1543.
1544. "Siding with demons is a thirst for power gone too far. They are obstacles meant for us to overcome, not side with. Demons understand hunger and restraint just like the dragons- but they know not honor or valor. They will eat you up as soon as you've served your purpose."
  1545.
1546. Still carrying himself with the pride of the head of the faith, Revan would continue his staggered march out.
  1547.
1548. "We cannot let the Vale fall, or else all of Esshar will become their breeding pit."
  1549.
1550. The dire circumstance of why the demons could not get their wish, Revan would do everything he could to ensure their plans did not come to fruition.. Yet sparing his father and losing Theria would be a blow that they would not recover from soon.
  1551. (Revan Task)
  1552. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1553.
1554. [19:00] Would he challenge them, even now?
  1555.
1556. The fact that Barrachan dares approach closer draws an impossibly wide smile upon the face of the Serpent. He's been waiting for this. For so long, he's been waiting to see what would Barrachan do in the face of all that has happened. And now, when he arrives..
  1557.
1558. "You heard your newly appointed leader, Barrachan. The Dragons want humanity to evolve - to pursue their ambition, to ensure that they become something more than just snivelling cowards laid upon the feet of Teraphim."
  1559.
  1560. "As do I."
  1561.
1562. Yet, the Archon confidently floats towards Barrachan. He knows exactly why he's here. He knows why exactly he chose to confront Morok, of all people- or demons- that could be present out there.
  1563.
1564. "But you're here for a different reason, are you not, Barrachan?"
  1565.
1566. "She calls for you.." 'Veronica'. The word echoes on the back of Barrachan's mind, spoken with telepathy of a Demon.
  1567.
  1568. "She misses you."
  1569.
1570. "And her heart aches for you... or would you rather abandon her, just like Myllenoris had? Once, I already offered their High Lord to free her - to entertain me with aspect of bravery, and whether he's defeated or he wins, she goes free."
  1571.
1572. "Do you know what they did, Barrachan?"
  1573.
1574. "They left her to rot - and fought me anyway. Even with her freedom given to them on a silver plater.. they don't care."
  1575.
  1576.
1577. Do you feel the eyes of power look upon you?
1578. Do you feel them stare into your soul?
1579. Even now, as the Archon inches closer..
  1580.
  1581.
  1582. "But I do."
  1583.
1584. Lies, or truth? This is up to the drakanite to discern; this is for him to decide whether it holds any merit or not; and yet, his hands steadily reach out, settling upon the face of the drakanite when he comes closer.
  1585.
1586. They touch upon his features, the snake-eyes staring into Barrachan's gaze.
  1587.
  1588. "Decide, then, Barrachan.."
  1589.
1590. "Will you abandon her too?"
  1591.
1592. "Will you oppose this need for evolution, to oppose stagnation - and leave her behind to rot?"
  1593. (Morok)
  1594. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1595.
  1596. [19:03] Barrachan:
  1597.
1598. A new Dragonlord one he hasn't really heard of. Though quick to make a name for himself at a young age.
  1599.
1600. Zion accepted his defeat as it were under the terms that he fought for.
  1601.
1602. As the talks erupted Zion spoke to Barrachan even in a weakened state.
  1603.
1604. Zion chilling presence resonated in that conversation of their but only to the Dragonlord. "You are a Dragonlord, a name that holds weight because of the actions you choose. Whatever you do, do it with honor and pride and for the best of Theria. Your decisions alone. No matter what it is."
  1605.
1606. As Zion coughed he cracked his back and bit then thought to himself for a moment.
  1607. (Zion Cai)
  1608. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1609.
1610. [19:04] Dun Task says, "Self declared Zion."
1611. [19:04] Dun Task says, "To be clear."
1612. [19:04] Pachua says, "I just want to say one thing."
1613. [19:04] Barrachan Vatoris says, "Correct yourself, Elder."
1614. [19:04] Barrachan Vatoris says, "I will correct it for you, actually."
1615. [19:04] Dun Task asks, "Will you, actually?"
1616. [19:04] Pachua asks, "You tried that, why do you think I have this helmet?"
1617. [19:04] Dun Task asks, "Is there more poison?"
1618. [19:04] Yuri says, ".. Theria seems like it has too many titles for its own good."
1619. [19:04] Dun Task asks, "A crumb of poison please?"
1620. [19:04] Dun would flip Barrachan off.
  1621. (Dun Task)
  1622. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1623.
1624. [19:04] Dun Task says, "Learn your place butler."
1625. [19:04] Yuri says, "They become meaningless."
  1626. [19:05] Raeliana says, "....."
1627. [19:10] Her exilement and excommunication were recieved with no more than just a shrug, the woman was currently now focused on staying besides the High Priest she recognized, the true representant of the Chruch. Anguisa would merely follow him, an answer to what should be considered benelovence that denounced that to her she was right above it. "I stay with Garljing and Ryujin, yes. But besides the one that actually understand what it means to respect the Elder and wiser ones. You're only great if you're ambicious, but you can't be ambicious without recognizing that you're as great as what you want to achieve."
  1628.
1629. Her decision was made, much before the conflicts have started, the woman grabbed the Golden coinf of Garljing's grandson tightly in her hand as she kept walking off, following the Task that was already settling up to depart. Anguisa was the living proof of Revan's words.
  1630.
1631. "I give you less than a year after this war is over." Once more she shook her head, convicted that the mistakes that the head of the fake faith just made now would inevitably lead him to an even worse chaos, and put the followers of Dun, the false saint, to demise. It was just a matter of time, she knew the nature of Demons, and knew that the enemies of the High Lord should never be trusted, or even allowed to live.
  1632.
1633. To swear herself to Garljing was something that she had already done.
  1634.
1635. Though, in the right way. Refusing to stand against those who shouldn't be allowed to live.
  1636. (Anguisa)
  1637. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1638.
1639. [19:13] As they spoke, he could feel the pathway opening up before him; The path to Vanaheim. Anyone in their right mind would have surely taken note of the many defeats at the hands of the powerhouses before him, but Barrachan only heard those bold words from their mouths.
  1640.
1641. He threw his hand to the side and showed an expression of disgust towards Pachua. Had this Drakanite not defended the fact that Dun was wounded? Yet now he took pride in defeating the wounded Dragonlord. It was a disgusting double-standard before the eyes of the Drakanite.
  1642.
1643. Just before he prepared to speak it hit....
  1644.
1645. Morok let it be known that it was in fact him who stole her away.
  1646.
1647. Slowly those Viridian eyes turned to look upon the hovering Demon before him. The demon taunted him freely and happily to point out why the Dragonlord had made his presence clear. A smirk appeared upon his face. "Do not presume to speak for them. Men, and those with the hearts of Men." The large wings flap once again as he takes to the air.
  1648.
1649. He would look this demon in the eyes, not look up to face something that would steal from his treasury. The spark was made and with it came large amount of mana pouring out of Barrachan's spinal chord. The Twelve Labors of the fallen hero, Alkaio, would be conjured with all their might to give Barrachan access to his original power if only briefly.
  1650.
1651. "Those who once in my eyes were true Dragons, reveal their colors today. A boy who reaches only for glory as he sees Desire further than he sees his restraint. An old man who speaks with the weakness of age rather than the fire born from the first moments. What are injures, what are poisons, what armies, if not further tests!?" He yelled to the Demon before glancing to Dun.
  1652.
1653. "Silence now Elder. You overstep. Your boy was beaten in an Honor Duel he accepted and I am Dragonlord because of it. Do not proclaim that an injury makes a battle unjust. These are the words of man, not the words of a Dragon! When your scales break you breath GREATER FIRE!!" Barrachan makes clear to Dun Task. He had spoken enough in regards to politics though.
  1654.
1655. Crimson scales covered his body as the many runes ignited to life. The attire of the giants of their second in command would make sure he carried his colors now. That rage did not stop however, over and over they continuously spat on the ideals of Ryujin. To see Garljing alone as the sole ruler of all Theria. He was a truly mighty Dragon and deserving of much more, but to Barrachan he was but a Dragon that had been wronged. He would see it done right, but this was not the way.....
  1656.
1657. To avenge the Fallen son of Garljing, and to break those who won the War of the Dragon with the aid of demonkin…. It was pathetic and weak. No Dragon stood with demons and claimed to be a Dragon.
  1658.
1659. "Step before me then, each of you who would challenge this Dragonlord. You will not remove me from my mountain alive. You will destroy me and send me to Vanaheim, or be destroyed." He makes clear as the Darkness invades his schlera directly blackening it.
  1660.
1661. Golden ripples formed in the sky as he opened his gateway towards the star Uner's influence. Letting its innovation guide him further. Numerous weapons of steel design embraced by cosmic light would exit from the ripples as the Chains of Oppression formed on his side. "Usurp my title the right way, not because you think Fairness means shit! Come!!!"
  1662. (Barrachan Vatoris)
  1663. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1664.
  1665. [19:19] "Dragonlord?"
  1666.
1667. This entire situation had blown far past what it should've been. Overthrowing authority was a difficult task, but after failing multiple times how would one keep persisting. The moment had passed, momentum was swinging greatly in Dun's favor and those who opposed him had been beaten time and time again.
  1668.
1669. It was time to wrap this all up.
  1670.
1671. The panther stepped forward as the Drakanite issued a challenge, one that wouldn't go without a response.
  1672.
1673. "Personally, all of these titles are too much. Though I do believe it's time for you to be thrown off this mountain, you've lost.
  1674.
1675. Only imbeciles don't know when to retreat. Staying will only result in your own destruction.
  1676.
1677. But maybe you have to learn that."
  1678.
1679. Jaeger's occultic presence expanded, focusing on Barrachan in an attempt to make the self-proclaimed Dragonlord back down. There wasn't a purpose to to this battle but Jaeger would give it one if need be. Their revolution had been halted.
  1680.
1681. What was the purpose in continuing? Why did humans feel the need to keep crashing into an unbreakable wall? It all didn't make too much sense, but then again Jaeger wasn't human.
  1682.
1683. One of them would have to learn, and Jaeger's lesson was fully prepared.
  1684. (Jaeger)
  1685. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1686.
1687. [19:20] Dun Task asks, "Did you think beating Valero while he was injured and untreated earned you anything?"
  1688. [19:20] Dun Task says, "How....naive."
1689. [19:20] Barrachan Vatoris says, "You gave him the power Dun, blame your son's arrogance."
1690. [19:20] Dun Task says, "I am noticing a trend."
1691. [19:20] Dun Task says, "Of power seekers attacking weakened targets."
1692. [19:21] Barrachan Vatoris asks, "You would dare put me in such a category?"
1693. [19:21] Dun Task says, "Yes."
1694. [19:21] "Dun although he may be self proclaimed I remember a time Rinn, Magne, Alya, and what's her name the other one that's like me but a woman. They all saw me as self proclaimed and one day I proved it. It's not that I accept him to be one, but this may vary well be where he is made or broken."
  1695.
1696. "Pride goes a long way, but in this moment, I'd like to see what he's made of. Failure or Win, I'd like to see it."
  1697. (Zion Cai)
  1698. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1699.
1700. [19:21] Dun Task says, "Yes, I will not halt his claim, but he is propping it up with a false reasoning."
1701. [19:21] Dun Task asks, "Valero was burned inside and out from Ifraheim, untreated, and this pillar is his to stand on?"
1702. [19:21] Dun Task says, "I think not."
  1703. [19:21] Dun Task says, "It's pathetic."
1704. [19:22] Barrachan Vatoris says, "And? I fought demons with no mana. I fought in this war with my body scarred everywhere."
1705. [19:22] Barrachan Vatoris asks, "Would you call my enemy pathetic for not giving up?"
1706. [19:22] Barrachan Vatoris says, "You speak nonsense."
1707. [19:22] Dun Task says, "Lost in the war, yes yes, the martyr truly."
1708. [19:22] Dun Task says, "You simply lack sense, it's okay."
1709. [19:22] Dun Task says, "I forgive you."
1710. [19:22] Barrachan Vatoris says, "For an old man that spent years sleeping, you do have quite a tongue on oyu."
1711. [19:22] Anguisa asks, "You call us power seekers but you're literally standing besides Pachua now. What's it that he's doing, allying himself with Demons after fighting in the war for Mylllenoris, or did you guys already forget that?"
1712. [19:22] Zion Cai says, "I just want to see the fight. I understand that not everyone will be at one hundred percent but if this kid can beat that Archon that I failed to show up."
1713. [19:22] The tall drakanite's speech stirs something in Altair, a feeling of passion that motivates him to straighten out and correct his posture. Rounded eyes focus forward as he awaits the duel to come.
  1714.
1715. "...Too much talk," the boy murmured quietly, though he does shuffle forward some.
  1716.
1717. Pachua's challenge and declaration had been made, and accepted. All of these demons in the midst of it were just a distraction.
  1718. (Altair)
  1719. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1720.
1721. [19:23] Dun Task says, "Pachua is one of my many hatchlings that I've tended to."
1722. [19:23] Dun Task says, "He wouldn't have aided me if it wasn't his choice."
1723. [19:23] Zion Cai says, "Speaking of hatchlings the hell is Redwood."
1724. [19:23] Dun Task says, "We got him back safe."
1725. [19:23] Dun Task says, "With some help from Morok there."
1726. [19:24] Zion Cai says, "Well that's good. Now he can get his ass back on training."
  1727. [19:27] How unfortunate.
  1728.
1729. To see Barrachan become this lost.. but would he really abandon Veronica behind in such manner? Of all things, this terribly disappoints the Archon - to the point that he could not help but feel as if this was an utterly pathetic show of the bond being broken.
  1730.
  1731. "Ahahahaha.."
  1732.
1733. "I do not speak for you Barrachan. You've already spoken for yourself."
  1734.
1735. "You would rather leave her behind to rot. I'll make sure to let her know."
  1736.
1737. But as much as the Archon stares with languid, unimpressed eyes upon the display of might that Barrachan decided to put up, the shadows deepen in preparation of what's to come; they extend, to serve as a necessary tool for the Archon once more..
  1738.
  1739. Until..
  1740. Jaeger challenges Barrachan?
  1741.
  1742. "..Oh?"
  1743.
1744. "It appears you'll have to go through my kin first. Perhaps, I won't even have to hear your incessant whining anymore."
  1745.
1746. The Archon floats about, his gaze falling onto Jaeger.
  1747.
1748. "If you wish to take the drakanite, then step forth."
  1749. (Morok)
  1750. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1751.
  1752. [19:28] It's heating up.
  1753.
1754. Like the fires collecting in a Dragon's belly, warming and growing more ferocious with every second. Threats and claims are made. Narrow hues lock with Barrachan. What a familiar man. They stare, hard- Can he feel the chill of their gaze at the back of his head?
  1755.
1756. Words exchange- Thrown about at one another.
  1757.
1758. "There's a lot of talking." The Fortune Teller moves closer, through the crowd and nearing Morok.
  1759.
1760. "I spoke of a fortune of an united Esshar. While working together, there will be a discourse and gain for another. Torn in two, torn asunder like this."
  1761.
1762. It filled them with a joy and pride for their work. "Like a new chapter turned right before our eyes but-" Jaegar went for Barrachan- He wished to have Zion?
  1763.
  1764. Absolutely not.
  1765.
1766. Sparks dance around their finger tips.
  1767.
1768. "You will not have this Dragonlord."
  1769.
1770. Jianyu did not forget Zion Cai. They would be another added obstacle. For his crims against them.
  1771.
  1772. Hel awaited the Drakanite.
  1773. (Jianyu Xi)
  1774. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1775.
1776. [19:32] Pachua grew bored of all this talk.
  1777.
1778. "Let the games begin. Let the flames of Garljing fill your bellies and urge you to fight for the sake of it."
  1779. (Pachua)
  1780. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1781.
1782. [19:33] Yuri remained off on the side. This civil war was of not importance to him, nor was anything that would come from it. His only worry had stepped forth and brought a bit of attention to itself. Though that was it. He'd remain there. Vigilant.
  1783.
  1784. Radiant as ever.
  1785. (Yuri)
  1786. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1787.
1788. [19:34] Barrachan grit his teeth towards the demon as it still taunted him with his treasure. He had done his best to shed the thought from his mind in this moment, even as it was continuously brought up. Restraint was his weakest point of all, and hearing the Demon state that he had abandoned his treasure brought on nothing less than an attack from the Drakanite.
  1789.
1790. However, before the sword launched there was an expanded Darkness that would make itself known. It was sourced from a lingering feline demon. He heard its words now and narrowed his eyes. It was a demon he was not familiar with, yes, he expected to be outnumbered when this day came. It was early, however, far sooner than he expected.
  1791.
1792. As the weapons are aimed towards the beast, Jianyu would intercede as well. Barrachan grimaced now. The odds were stacked against him like no tomorrow. The mana he could sense from each one easily beyond that of a master magi and some on the side of Exalted. An elongated exhale of flames are given through his nostrils. He would not be dissuaded by circumstance, numbers, or power. When the time called, it was only right to answer.
  1793.
1794. Barrachan opened his black and viridian eyes and roared towards whichever of these new opponents would act first. It did not matter which, it did not matter who or how many. He would not surrender, he would be defeated.
  1795. (Barrachan Vatoris)
  1796. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1797.
1798. [19:35] Exile had been declared, and while Anguisa was quick to follow suit, Barrachan felt otherwise. As he made his stand, the crowd would soon turn against the revolters and he knew it would get messy from there.
  1799.
1800. Grabbing Shiro by the arm, Revan would make his retreat, looking to Lilly.
  1801.
1802. "It's wise to move now while we can."
  1803. (Revan Task)
  1804. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1805.
1806. [19:36] Tries to wiggle out of Revan's grip
  1807. (Shiro)
  1808. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1809.
1810. [19:37] Dragging the boy off.
  1811. (Revan Task)
  1812. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1813.
  1814. [19:38] Fari'aeth says, "Hmmm"
1815. [19:38] Irkalla asks, "Anyone else, willing to raise their hand in proclamation against demon-kind?"
1816. [19:44] Anlaufr whispers: I have seen enough of all this stuff.. Dun, later I wanna talk with ya. Mhm, I will be at the square.
1817. [19:44] Seeing the moment of everything going down, Shiro didn't want to leave. His father had grabbed him by the arm pulling him out. He attempted to break lose from his grip, but the man wouldn't let go not giving him any option. The boy growing with rage as he saw Barrachan was going to be left alone not backing down like a true dragon would.
  1818.
1819. Struggling to pull out of the grip Shiro looked over at Revan he stared at Barra one last time. All the moments he has spent with Barra the past year were important to him. Barrachan was a young man that believed in young Shiro's growing strength.
  1820.
1821. "Barra!!! You better not lose! You have to win and prove to them!"
  1822.
1823. As the boy was almost taken out of the area he said one last line.
  1824.
1825. "I.. I will kill them all! Let me go!"
  1826. (Shiro)
  1827. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1828.
1829. [19:59] A beast could not be stopped.
  1830.
1831. Jaeger wasn't familiar with cities in general, combat involving all of these moving pieces would surely disrupt him. But in the end it didn't matter. No man, woman, or child could stop his path of destruction. No house, stall, or building could prevent the panther from obliterating everything and anything in his path.
  1832.
1833. His claws cut through tough scales, ripping the reptile to shreds with the use of raw power. Jaeger truly fought as an untamed beast, abandoning any sense of defense in an attempt to strike down his prey as quick as possible.
  1834.
1835. It didn't take long for the predator to exercise his will.
  1836.
1837. His paw came down in an instant, lacerating Barrachan's chest and leaving a small fraction of the demon's will within it. He'd tap into other's wills to destroy. Jaeger forced out every violent aspect Barrachan felt in the situation, all to fuel his own greed.
  1838.
1839. The man laid defeated and as the Drakanite stated before, that was what it was going to take to force him off the mountain. Jaeger peered towards the exit of Theria before glancing back at his downed opponent.
  1840.
1841. "I will be removing you from my mountain. You are no Dragonlord, you speak too highly of yourself without the ability to keep your status stationary.
  1842.
1843. It's time for you to fall. You're nothing but lizard, remember that. Come claim this mountain from me when your heart equals your might."
  1844.
1845. Barrachan was far more passionate about the situation than Jaeger was, he truly wanted his home back but unfortunately today wouldn't be the day. Passion didn't matter in the face of power, a flaw humanity didn't realize they had. Emotion could only carry an individual so far.
  1846.
1847. And so the Dragon would fall from his peak.
  1848.
1849. Jaeger stepped forward before blasting Barrachan with the raging winds that surrounded his body. He was launched off the mountain, and Jaeger would follow him down. He'd continue pushing and pushing until the man before him had completely fallen, also a means for him to exit. His work was done here.
  1850.
1851. Before he departed he'd leave a few words for any other supporters of Revan.
  1852.
1853. "Let me usher a little warning to the rest of you. Try as he did and you will also be removed from this peak.
  1854.
1855. None of you are safe."
  1856. (Jaeger)
  1857. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1858.
1859. [20:02] Pachua squinted at the direction of Jaegar.
  1860.
  1861. 'My Mountain'.
  1862.
1863. There will be a time and a place.
  1864.
  1865. A time.
  1866.
  1867. And a place.
  1868. (Pachua)
  1869. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1870.
  1871. [20:06] Altair says, "..."
1872. [20:06] The Archon achieved what he wanted.
  1873.
1874. And it was the fight between Pachua and Revan - one to end with the victory of the drakanite, no less. Isn't it great when all of the pieces fall after one another in the right order? When it all aligns in exactly the way that he wanted..
  1875.
1876. At times, whenever he loses himself to this chaos, he often finds luck to be on his side.
  1877.
1878. Is it not the testament of such, with their victory here? For now, the Serpentine Archon yanks Zion away- his own captive in this mess.
  1879.
  1880. "Good."
  1881.
1882. He's satisfied with the outcome, leaving the premise; surely, some others may seek him out later, for one purpose or another..
  1883.
1884. But that's a story for another time.
  1885. (Morok)
  1886. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1887.
  1888. [20:07] Off the mountain.
  1889.
1890. What an embarrassing way to go. Barrachan was by no means a weak opponent. His magics were all over the place yet somehow managed to work? It's strange, but they watch as Jaegar tossed the Drakanite over.
  1891.
1892. Hopefully his wings were trained.
  1893.
1894. It concluded and their gaze shifted to Morok and the Drakanite who he defeated. This Dragonlord who they find themself staring at before moving over to the ascended Serpent's side.
  1895.
1896. "How bothersome." But, the dragon had no peak to perch himself upon. No where to hide unless he crawled to the forests, or maybe even Osrona or Alabastre.
  1897.
1898. Icy hues drifted to Zion. "Hello, hello~. Do you remember me?" It's been years, they stand a few inches taller and their hair was chopped off but those narrow eyes are the same.
  1899.
1900. Then venom is the same.
  1901.
1902. But, for now, they leave with the Serpent.
  1903. (Jianyu Xi)
  1904. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1905.
1906. [20:08] Nothing more to be seen. A little disappointed with the outcome, but he's learned many important lessons on this day and learned from people far stronger than he is.
  1907.
1908. His hands moved for the edge of his black hood and pull it over his head, the tip of it obscuring his eyes and stopping just short of the tip of his button nose. Some quiet words are whispered to Ife before he departs.
  1909. (Altair)
  1910. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1911.
  1912. [20:08] Altair whispers something.
1913. [20:10] Lilith would stay around a little longer, maybe tempting death or another fight by doing so. But sadly, she cared about the passionate Drakanite, and wanted to see what would happen to Barrachi. She wanted to be there to help him if he were to lose, and wanted to be there to fight back if he died.
  1914.
1915. Yet, he didn't die, but now she had to rush towards where he would fall. Drinking a levitation potion to rush towards him, eyeing her family leaving as well.
  1916. (Lilith Allison)
  1917. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1918.
1919. [20:12] The chains launched at their greatest speed and positioning, but the beast before them was not to be underestimated. The pure destruction that emanated off of Jaegar was like nothing Barrachan had experienced before and to his surprise... For the first time against something other than a Rhoynish, his chains snapped. Barrachan's eyes widened in disbelief. He was sure he had caught the beast but the power he boasted was not enough.
  1920.
1921. "Uner." He called to his star in a last resort. The cosmic light embraced Alkaio's Energy Gem, embedded into his spine to make him a magi once more. Together, he united this with all of his power and unleashed a magnificent wave of his expressed rage and determination into a singular roar.
  1922.
  1923. It would fall short.
  1924.
1925. As the beam struck against the creature it would be overpowered and a paw came faster than the Dragonlord could witness. It lacerting his chest and sent crimson liquid and scales along the ground. He called out as his body, riddled in damage by the Demon finally fell. All that he was, all that he became, all that he strived for would all prove to be not enough even now.
  1926.
1927. As the Demon drug him off, the weakened Drakanite still tried to fight with what he had. His claws trying to do anything against the demon but he was simply too weak now, his might drained over the battle. Then he heard the words. It was actually happening, it was real, his exile. How could he face Garljing as the destroyer of Balmung now? How could he raise his head and shout his loyalty to Ryujin, if he could not even defend the Mountain of the Dragon.
  1928.
1929. "You will not! I still breathe! My blood is fire!!! You wi-"
  1930.
  1931. Lizard.
  1932.
1933. The slur hits Barrachan like a boulder. He was powerless to even act against it now as he felt the will of Jaeger screaming through his circuits now. Demanding but one thing, absolute destruction. Like before, Barrachan did not reject this calling as he stared at the beast now on his last leg as he pushed himself into a stand. The snowflakes gently fell around the mountain as he stared down the edge and turned back to Jeager.
  1934.
1935. "You cannot remove a Dragon....Not from its lair." He spoke to the Demon, almost in a tone that sounded broken. He could not resist this fate? His power was not enough to earn Helheim's door, and it was not enough to stand strong as a lord. Those would be the last words he spoke in Theria. The blast hit him and he flew from the covered in raging winds. His body falling at a rapid pace towards the forest far below.
  1936.
  1937. I failed.....
  1938.
  1939. I failed you Veronica.
  1940.
1941. What was left of the old him, it was consumed then. Falling into Disgrace, falling from his beloved home of Theria. The memories and the world he understood because of it. He was only an outcast now. Something to be redeem, or to simply fall further into the Dark that beckoned.
  1942.
1943. He impacted the ground far below in a large crater.
  1944. (Barrachan Vatoris)
  1945. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1946.
1947. [20:14] Ife figures that the things worth watching are done, and so the wanderer shall return to wandering thusly, contented for a time by all the messiness of the foreign affair.
  1948. (Ife)
  1949. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1950.
1951. [20:25] Trial after trial. Challenge after challenge. These struggles born from the flickers of light, and the dance of an ambitious fire. The golden eyes of the Rhoynish girl would flicker around as her heart steadied underneath the dread of the Archon's mighty presence of death, and decay. Such a malignant, and disgusting influence that caused the girl's detestable emotions to surface, and bubble over from the bottom of her heart.
  1952.
1953. This place is disgusting. It's detestable, and how everything started to unfold? It was despicable- Those feelings amplified by the dense miasma of unadulterated occultic energy. The pinnacle of such reached by a demon. Azshara's low hums hesitated to come out every other second, the speed of sound hardly catching up to the pace of the combat, and the overall situation.
  1954.
1955. It wasn't until Barrachan was booted off from the mountain is when Azshara's blood boiled, and her frustration spiked. "This wasn't how it was supposed to be..!" The woman exclaimed out in a quick rage as she looked away from the dissolving crowd. "...You. You're okay with this?" Azshara questioned out loud as she felt as if she was questioning herself more than the feathery friend she had beside her.
  1956.
  1957. No.
  1958. Truly
  1959.
1960. Revan was supposed to fight him honorably. Barrachan was supposed to have his challenge with Valero unhindered. The demons were supposed to be away. "Everything didn't go at all according to plan.." She muttered underneath her breath as a fierce gaze locked onto Pachua. "Aren't you disgusted with yourself? Exiling all of them?" The Rhoynish wasn't happy at all as she looked off to the side of the mountain where Barrachan had been kicked off of. The flurry of snow buffeting her form underneath an intense storm.
  1961.
  1962. (Azshara Ambrose)
  1963. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1964.
1965. [20:26] If there was any time for him to be any sense of a nice one, It would be right now, would it?
  1966.
1967. "If they stayed around, they would've died. I saved their life the most proper way possible."
  1968.
1969. "They wanted to poison an injured old man, Azshara. They wanted to have a civil war that would have destroyed us at the very seams."
  1970.
1971. "Do you think that it is right?"
  1972. (Pachua)
  1973. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1974.
  1975. [20:27] Name: "Boiling Skin"
  1976.
1977. Desc: The unique style of using burning poison would damage Fari'aeth's skin. His skin would be scarred and seared. Boiling and bubbling as the poisonous fire woud work itself underneath. It would be disgusting to look at, just like how Lilith felt about the Demons which took her loved ones smiles. The burnt and boiling flesh would be a reminder of their encounter, and a taste of what was to come for Demonkind.

  1988.
  1989. [20:32] Boiling skin.
  1990.
1991. She hated tending to injuries as she only really learned this for Vex but now she had people tied around her finger as she wanted them to do as she pleased at times so it wasn't half bad.
  1992.
1993. A fine unique thick coated ointment was applied over the skin of where the areas being burnt, seeing the rot across the skin of the arms it was quite gruesome to see for the normal eyes that weren't used to such a thing however for her? It was nothing.
  1994.
  1995. "I see..."
  1996.
1997. Slowly the cream was easily rubbed away.. slowly then a bag of ice followed up to rest against the arms for a few moments in time as she then moved to take a small set of bandages to wrap around his forearms and around the chest of the burns that showed.
  1998.
1999. "Don't strain yourself too much now. We have work to do soon..." She meant regarding to those who went against Theria today.
  2000. (Víolet Lovain)
  2001. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2002.
2003. [20:32] Azshara felt it. She felt how terrible Morok's presence is, and they were fine with his support? Without truly delving deep into his true intentions? A shaky breath escaped her lips as she found her hands trembling. Her body marked briefly by the stench and power of the death. It reminded her of those that were close to her- Those she had to watch perish before her eyes. It was the same energy she felt but couldn't comprehend at the time.
  2004.
2005. "You saved their lives but you killed their willpower. You made them walking targets out there. They're corpses waiting to be laid out!" Azshara retorted as she gritted her teeth. She couldn't properly understand it all, but she knew at the end of the day- Half of what Pachua uttered is correct.
  2006.
  2007. It is wrong.
  2008. It is detestably wrong.
  2009.
2010. "..It could of happened differently. Everything could've been changed."
  2011.
2012. Azshara promised to sing in order to change the tides offate. To sing to support and provide the soothing, calming music to make sure things didn't go array, yet she couldn't. She was frightened out of her promise and that's what made her bitter inside as she slowly started to narrow her eyes.
  2013. (Azshara Ambrose)
  2014. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2015.
2016. [20:35] The drakanite would stretch his body.
  2017.
2018. "This body is such a annoying thing. Its hard to keep on enemies with such a weak shell. Either way a loss is a loss. Simply have to learn from it."
  2019.
  2020. He say grumbling.
  2021.
2022. "I can hunt more now though."
  2023.
2024. All of them were targets now. "Violet seems you have much more test subjects. You ready to go hunting?"
  2025. (Fari'aeth)
  2026. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2027.
  2028. [20:35] Víolet Lovain says, "Let's go."
2029. [20:36] Víolet Lovain says, "Back home for now. "
2030. [20:36] Víolet Lovain says, "And see whats going on."
2031. [20:37] "I didn't like it either, Azshara. I didn't ask for their help, either, but..."
  2032.
  2033. Things happened.
2034. People got involved that shouldn't.
2035. He couldn't let someone that had gave him a home, shelter, armor and weapons, as well as knowledge of what the truth was to die right here.
  2036.
  2037. Right now.
  2038.
2039. "They'll be fine in Myllenoris, for now. If they want to send me a letter to have a chat, I'd allow it."
  2040.
2041. "I even told them, Theria is the land of the free. Free to make their own choices. Free to make the fork on the road to what they desire. If they want to kill the demons, then I will not stop them."
  2042.
2043. "If they want to join the demons, too, I will not stop them."
  2044.
2045. "However, I also said that if anyone brings any true harm to Theria, I would go out fighting and dying to protect it without question."
  2046.
2047. He looks over to the side, now.
  2048.
2049. "And right now, I need Dun. We have a mythos to write out and canonize for the Fireblooded. I don't do this because I want to."
  2050.
2051. "I do it because I have to."
  2052. (Pachua)
  2053. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2054.
2055. [20:48] Dun Task says, "Ahhhh."
2056. [20:48] Dun would take a contented drag from his cigarette, nodding lightly.
  2057. (Dun Task)
  2058. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2059.
2060. [20:48] Dun Task says, "The poison has at last passed."
2061. [20:48] They requested her song- They relied on the very strain of promises to guide them through a faithless path. While there was a flame, there was no twigs that could be casted unto fire, and breathe it life and passion. The call to arms was answered, but Azshara didn't choose to enter the true battle.
  2062.
  2063.
  2064. The battle of hearts.
  2065.
2066. Inhaling, and exhaling- Heavy air started to course, and choke out through her lips. She felt the isolation creep slowly to her, and at first the Therian cold got to her. She mistook that coldness for many things in the past, but it was becoming clearer to her what that cold feeling is. The grief, and regret all melded into one grotesque ball of yarn. With each thread carrying an overloaded emotion intertwined with a single memory.
  2067.
2068. " /I/ want to stop the demons. They've ruined so much... Yet more, and more people voice their support for monsters." Azshara was traumatized, and affected greatly by the demonic presence. To the point where it tore her apart from her childhood companions. "I came here to support my friends- To support people who wanted to use that freedom to stop the demons. To stop anyone who wanted to share their goals." Azshara professed as she found her eyes dropping slowly.
  2069.
  2070. They failed.
  2071. Just as she failed.
  2072.
  2073.
2074. "Will your vision change if the people you knew and trust became the harm to Theria? What happens if you were the one that accidently caused this place harm?" Azshara asked, as fate played cruel instruments to those that wish to dive into its territory. Perhaps those that were exiled would return, and bring about a bad karma for Pachua, and his vision.
  2075.
2076. "...If it's because you have to do all of this... Then fine. I can't stop you." A pause would ensue. "I don't think I could ever have the power to even if I wanted to.." Azshara murmured softly as she looked away.
  2077.
  2078.
  2079. (Azshara Ambrose)
  2080. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2081.
  2082. [20:51] "Azshara."
  2083.
2084. A single hand moved off to the side as he took a second to consider.
  2085.
2086. "If my choices here today was a giant mistake, that everything I DONE was only going to end up killing the place I want to fix."
  2087.
2088. "Then I will kill myself and sling myself into the waters."
  2089.
2090. His eyes then followed as he started to consider it more, his body posture changing entirely.
  2091.
2092. "I only want is best for Theria, and the moment that demons become that threat, then I'll do my best to defeat them."
  2093.
2094. "If I fail, then I hope I am reincarnated again to try again once more."
  2095. (Pachua)
  2096. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2097.
  2098. [20:57] Altair whispers something.
2099. [20:59] Her name being called out forced her gaze back unto Pachua.
  2100.
2101. "...It's happening again, Pachua. Those people I care about leaving me again." She slowly realized that truth now inside of her heart, blossoming into words that she could understand. "I'm a failure. My time in Theria taught me about how the strong can do whatever they want. It showed me a lot." She remembered briefly when Barrachan berated her once upon a time.
  2102.
2103. When she remained in Osrona- Her companions abandoned her and ran away. When she locked herself in the city- It became a problem for everyone she knew. Yet when she ventured out to mend such a problem? They started to hate her even more- Fighting around her, and causing her to feel confused, and worthless.
  2104.
2105. Azshara didn't want to suffer it again, as a wide frown surfaced upon her features. It is her own reluctance killing her, specially when Pachua knew of the voice that hid behind the gate.
  2106.
2107. "I believe you, Pachua. When the demons do become that threat... Promise me you won't hold back. That you won't give them a second chance." They already soiled their first chance within her heart as they stole the Shimmering City from her. There couldn't be another chance.
  2108. (Azshara Ambrose)
  2109. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2110.
2111. [20:59] Following the peak of the confrontation, the nimble boy returned with Artemis, escorting her to the depths of the castle where it all talk place. "Ahem," he coughed, then took a step back once the deed was done - suddenly feeling out of place amidst it all.
  2112.
2113. ...This was bound to be interesting, at least.
  2114.
2115. A family feud. A poisoning. And now this.
  2116. (Altair)
  2117. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2118.
2119. [20:59] Artemis Task asks, "What...in the HEL has happened?"
2120. [21:00] Dun Task says, "Oh, the usual."
2121. [21:01] Dun Task says, "Poisoned, attempted assassination, banished Revan from Theria and disowned him."
2122. [21:01] Dun Task says, "Average day. Pachua now bares the helm of the first flame, he is the patriarch of the Fireblooded in the eyes of Garljing."
2123. [21:01] Artemis Task asks, "...That's all the explanation I get, then? Why in the Hel would he do such a thing?"
2124. [21:01] There were no words that came about it, because talk is cheap.
  2125.
2126. Instead, Pachua would kneel down so that the two were in close proximity of one another and let his protective wings come out in complete span to wrap around and pull them in. The same came with his hands as the only thing that came was a simple, long hug.
  2127.
2128. A tighter grip came as his chin rested on their shoulder and his heterochromia eyes came to a close.
  2129.
2130. "Go with your friends in Myllenoris and be safe. I will do all that I can to protect Theria, and make sure that everything goes how I see it."
  2131. (Pachua)
  2132. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2133.
2134. [21:01] Dun Task says, "I'll....explain more thoroughly later."
2135. [21:01] Dun Task says, "I am still reeling from poison as it were."
2136. [21:01] Artemis Task says, "You had best..."
2137. [21:01] Altair says, "Ah, sir..."
2138. [21:01] Altair says, "I brought this with me."
2139. [21:01] Artemis Task says, "...But what can I do to help? "
2140. [21:01] Dun Task says, "I am fine....time is enough. And alcohol."
2141. [21:02] Artemis Task says, "Then here."
2142. [21:02] Dun what Dun did not say was this poisoning took decades off of his potential life. He was likely to pass before 125.
  2143. (Dun Task)
  2144. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2145.
2146. [21:02] {Item} You picked up Grape Wine. Dropped by Artemis Task..
2147. [21:03] Stepping forward, an ornate cup warm with green tea was offered - and he smiled at the bottle of wine, too. "This one isn't poisoned, don't worry...But it'll sooth the sting,, and maybe the wine will help to numb it further."
  2148.
2149. After that, he bowed his head and took a step back.
  2150.
2151. Elders should be treated kindly. Even if they're century old powerhouses.
  2152. (Altair)
  2153. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2154.
2155. [21:04] {ITEM} You accepted and consumed a Garden Tea from Altair
2156. [21:04] Dun would sip the tea with a sigh of relief.
  2157. (Dun Task)
  2158. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2159.
2160. [21:04] Dun Task says, "Better. Somewhat."
2161. [21:04] Dun Task says, "Yes, it seems Revan has chosen to get into bed with the elves."
2162. [21:04] Dun Task says, "He is a traitor, and no more a Task, unlike you Artemis."
2163. [21:06] Artemis Task says, "...Of course, father."
2164. [21:06] Altair blinked a lone, slow blink with the word 'father' but speaks nothing of it.
  2165. (Altair)
  2166. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2167.
2168. [21:06] Artemis keeps up her composure, but only barely. A frown tugs down the corner of her lips in light of this latest news. Poise can only hide so much of it.
  2169.
2170. "...I am glad to see you well. I am sorry I was not here to intervene."
  2171.
2172. There is genuine regret in her voice. Her head bows.
  2173. (Artemis Task)
  2174. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2175.
  2176. [21:06] It's always been so cold...
2177. Maybe Azshara needed this warmth- A forgotten warmth that slowly cascaded around her form. Closing her eyes to let her spirit delve deeper into the feeling. Slowly, she gently wrapped her arms around Pachua's form, and rested her forehead on the feathery Drakanite.
  2178.
2179. "Do that, Pachua… I'll see you soon." Azshara whispered softly into the ear of her friend. A quiet hum of sound magic whistling off her form as she held Pachua long. This would be the last time that she would see him for a while. This would be the freshest memory that she could cherish deeply.
  2180.
2181. "Hopefully.. The next time we see each other. Things will be different.. Where we're both strong in our own way."
  2182. (Azshara Ambrose)
  2183. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2184.
2185. [21:07] Dun would merely offer Artemis a side hug and a head pat. He'd ruffle her hair with a light sigh as he nodded.
  2186. (Dun Task)
  2187. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2188.
  2189. [21:09] "Of course..."
  2190.
2191. Pachua wasn't a liar, when he said those words, he meant it. He will make sure that the future is secured for Theria, and by extension, other places. With the hug being returned, the only thing that the confused eighteen year old could do was hold on tight for just that moment.
  2192.
2193. He needed it more than anything else, really. He was a mess behind the demeanor of cold. So knowing that meeting them again was nigh impossible due to this circumstance only made things harder for the Drakos.
  2194.
2195. But he never let up until they let go first -- a trait that he got from a book.
  2196.
  2197. "Live... do you understand?"
  2198. (Pachua)
  2199. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2200.
2201. [21:09] Artemis Task asks, "...What happens now?"
2202. [21:10] Dun Task asks, "Now?"
  2203. [21:10] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, ".."
2204. [21:10] Dun Task says, "I go back to the statue in the square."
2205. [21:10] Dun Task says, "And not get poisoned."
2206. [21:10] Dun Task says, "Again."
2207. [21:10] Dun Task says, "Oh hi Scarlett."
2208. [21:10] Scarlett Kurokaiyo asks, "Again?"
2209. [21:10] Artemis Task asks, "Yes- No. For us. And Theria. What now?"
2210. [21:10] Dun Task says, "Revan and his followers."
2211. [21:10] Dun Task says, "Betrayed us for Myllenoris."
2212. [21:10] Dun Task says, "Poisoned me, tried to kill me."
2213. [21:10] Dun Task says, "Failed."
2214. [21:10] Pachua says, "If they want this Helm back, I told them like I would tell anyone."
2215. [21:10] Artemis Task asks, "But -why-?"
2216. [21:10] Pachua says, "Try it."
2217. [21:10] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "Isn't that just nice.."
2218. [21:11] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "More people to take out."
2219. [21:11] Dun Task says, "Yup."
2220. [21:11] Dun Task asks, "And Artemis, in truth?"
2221. [21:11] Dun Task says, "Because his wife brainwashed him, probably."
2222. [21:11] Dun Task says, "She was always in his head."
2223. [21:12] Artemis Task says, "His marriage did seem...odd."
2224. [21:12] Artemis Task says, "He'd told me just today."
2225. [21:12] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "I leave for a day."
2226. [21:12] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "Shit happens."
2227. [21:12] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "Wild."
  2228. [21:13] Life..
2229. The only thing that she is blessed with- The only thing that her parents worked so hard to protect. Now she's out there in the world on her lonesome.
  2230.
2231. Letting go, Azshara's eyes would deeply gaze into Pachua's.
  2232.
2233. "...I will live. Don't worry about me. I need you to live, Pachua." Azshara stated, "Promise me that you'll live, and I'll promise you the same thing." The Rhoynish spoke clearly to the Drakanite. She didn't want to be the only one to carry that burden and expectation.
  2234. (Azshara Ambrose)
  2235. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2236.
2237. [21:13] Raising a pinky, Pachua would offer it to them.
  2238.
2239. Words were cheap. Actions meant more.
  2240. (Pachua)
  2241. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2242.
2243. [21:14] Altair averts his eyes.......
  2244. (Altair)
  2245. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2246.
2247. [21:14] Pachua used the other hand to flip the bird.
  2248. (Pachua)
  2249. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2250.
2251. [21:14] Dun Task says, "To the square."
  2252. [21:14] Pachua says, "I'll be there."
2253. [21:15] Dun would tiredly walk to the square, coughing blood into his arm as he passed the remnants of the magibane steadily from his system. It was no replacement for coffee.
  2254. (Dun Task)
  2255. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2256.
2257. [21:15] Raeliana says, "Do you feel be-..."
  2258. [21:15] Raeliana says, "Oh."
  2259. [21:15] Dun Task says, "I am."
2260. [21:16] Dun Task says, "Not dead yet. That's..."
2261. [21:16] Raeliana says, "But the blood."
2262. [21:16] Dun Task says, "The best way to put it."
2263. [21:16] Dun Task says, "Yes."
2264. [21:16] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "You've been through worse."
2265. [21:16] Dun Task says, "That's...there's no fixing that."
2266. [21:16] Dun Task says, "Yes...I have. But it adds up."
2267. [21:16] Raeliana asks, "So what now?"
  2268. [21:16] Dun Task says, "I've oot....probably five years more...max."
2269. [21:16] Dun Task says, "Now? The traitors are hunted, the Fireblooded are reforged with you and Pachua as young leaders."
2270. [21:17] The Drakanite frowned. Though it appeared more like a pout.
  2271. (Raeliana)
  2272. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2273.
2274. [21:17] Dun Task says, "And we move on. AS we always have."
  2275. [21:17] Raeliana asks, "Am I a leader?"
2276. [21:17] Dun Task says, "You're an acolyte no longer. I promote you to a full priestess."
2277. [21:17] Raeliana says, "-- Oh. Thank you."
2278. [21:18] Raeliana says, "I didn't want to pick sides within that conflict; because you bot mean so much to me."
2279. [21:18] Dun Task says, "Have no fear, I've been there, done that."
2280. [21:18] Dun Task says, "It wasn't your fight to fight. It was theirs."
2281. [21:18] Dun Task says, "And they lost."
2282. [21:18] There's a nod. He had the jist of it.
  2283. (Raeliana)
  2284.
