  1. I bought it from https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000408895677.html and a possible other name is the ZSC-P16. I ordered Oct 14 and received Dec 4th, with disputes ending Dec 10.
  2.
  3. I got 2 1080p screens and 1 4K screen because research concluded that you won't be able to see 4K at this size. I've got perfect vision so even as far as arms length (75cm), I can see and appreciate the increased resolution of 4K at 150% scaling, so I got 3 of these 4K monitors: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001288096313.html. (For features to appear the same size as 1080p 100% scaling, the 4K would have to be 200% scaling.) I use 125% scaling when I want to fit a lot of stuff on the screen or in portrait mode.
  4.
  5. Basically the takeaway from this review is that the packaging solution needs to prevent these screens warping and sagging, and that the 4K is vastly superior to the 1080p. Also the seller was very responsive and answered 20+ of my questions before purchase and was reasonable with the dispute process.
  6.
  7. 1080p Touch for £109+shipping: 2.3 Stars
  8. • Quick notes
  9. ○ Nice magnetic cover and touch sensitivity
  10. ○ Tablet level speaker quality
  11. ○ The colours aren't correct
  12. ○ Packaging method causes screens to warp and brightness level greyed out even with HDR and DCR disabled.
  13. ○ Minimum brightness flickers.
  14. ○ 2 months UK shipping
  15. ○ 1050g weight
  16. • Shipping
  17. ○ 2 months to UK. Seller says there was a mistake with customs documentation.
  18. • Packaging
  19. ○ While the way it's packaged in it's nice magnetic case leaves a good impression, it's leaves the middle of the screens unsupported and so all screens had bad warping
  20. • Items in the box
  21. ○ Black USA to USB-C wired 5V3A psu
  22. ○ HDMI to Mini HDMI
  23. ○ Black USB-C to USB-C with metallic coloured ends
  24. - I'd recommend getting a 2M cable so that you can put the screen on either side of a laptop if your USB-C port is only on one side.
  25. ○ Manual that seems to apply more to the 4K version as the 1080p version has a different OSD
  26. • Pros and features
  27. ○ Touch is responsive and scrolling is effortless
  28. ○ I really like the case it comes with. It's very nice and grippy and has a magnetic clasp to keep it closed.
  29. ○ Has adjustable sharpness, which is not available in the 4K version.
  30. ○ Average power consumption on DCR was 1.4A
  31. • Cons
  32. ○ Screen blackness extends past the bezel unevenly.
  33. - Also a noticeable gap between the glass and the screen, also seen in the 4K.
  34. ○ Would've liked a full sized USB A port instead of Micro for peripherals
  35. ○ Speakers are on the back, though they're just about low enough that the black cover doesn't obstruct them
  36. ○ The bezel size isn't even like on the 4K model.
  37. ○ Bit weighty at 1050g
  38. • Issues
  39. ○ For some reason, brightness and volume were greyed out and not adjustable.
  40. ○ It turns on at the lowest brightness that has noticeable flickering, and the only way I've discovered to avoid it is enable HDR or DCR
  41. ○ The actual pure red and pure blue colours are incorrect. It's mostly noticeable when working with purples, and I doubt that it can produce the NTSC 72% spec, compared to both my laptop screen, the 4K version of the same screen and red LEDs around my house.
  42. ○ The seller offered £50 ($63) for the issues found on both 1080p screens, which I accepted since I don't want to try sending things back in these times.
  43.
  44. 4K Touch for £165+shipping: 3.7 Stars
  45. • Most points for the 1080p screen are also for the 4K
  46. • Quick Notes
  47. ○ Great colours with wide colour gamut and amazing detail. I was surprised when I could easily tell 2 different shades of magenta apart on this 4K screen, but then I moved it to my laptop and the shades were indistinguishable.
  48. ○ 780g weight
  49. ○ Good min and max brightness that doesn't have the flickering of the 1080p. I've included an image of the lowest brightness on the 4K screen and my Asus UX560UQ laptop.
  50. ○ Screen warped so badly touch didn't work
  51. • Shipping and packaging
  52. ○ Same as 1080p. 2mo to UK and unsupported, causing the screen to warp badly
  53. • Items in the box
  54. ○ White US to USB-C 5V3A
  55. ○ HDMI to mini HDMI
  56. ○ Completely black USBC to USBC cable
  57. ○ Completely white USBC to USBC cable (I assume for power)
  58. ○ White 18W to USBC port USA psu with folding prongs
  59. ○ USBC to USB A for touchscreen
  60. • Pros and features
  61. ○ Speakers get a pass. They're not particularly loud (I was usually listening at 100%) but they don't distort at 100% and I could watch YouTube videos or listen to background music while working without feeling the need to find better audio equipment.
  62. ○ The colour gamut is amazing. Add that to the high DPI these 4K screens provide and you get image quality I usually only see on 4K store TV's. Proper red, green and blue values too.
  63. ○ Bezels are 9.8mm, which is a good amount of space for holding the screen
  64. ○ Only 780 grams so I can easily use this as a tablet like device.
  65. ○ Backlight gets pretty bright and very dark for night use. There's 10 levels, but the jump from 2 to 3 seems larger than the rest.
  66. ○ Power consumption ranges from 0.97A to 2.2A lowest to highest brightness.
  67. • Cons and issues
  68. ○ The warping hit the 4K screen especially badly
  69. - Touch was broken on arrival and I could see inside the screen from the edges, so I can't comment on the touch sensitivity.
  70. ○ Backlight bleed is acceptable but I have found myself noticing it slightly more than other screens I've used as Windows 10 has a few UI screens that are a solid colour. Take this with a pinch of salt though as bleed between monitors has a wide range of severity.
  71. ○ The seller offered about £40 for the defective touchscreen
