Deep/Introspective Poem

I ate the best meals of my life,
on a temperate, average morning,
a breakfast with eggs and a glass of milk,
a second breakfast with granola and yogurt,
and a later third with some leftovers.

I ate the best meals of my life,
on a temperate, average day,
a lunch with bland chicken and piss-warm gravy,
a second lunch with a peanut butter/jelly sandwich,
and a later third with some spaghetti.

I ate the best meals of my life,
on a temperate, average night,
a dinner with bland chicken and piss-warm gravy (I made too much for lunch),
and that's it,
because I wake up with the shits in the middle of the night,
if I eat a second or third dinner.
