Comments to representatives

I'm not sure what news you're seeing, but based on what I'm seeing what's happening in Palestine is unconscionable. Daily there are parents mourning their children. In just the past week a hospital director's son was killed as a punishment, which is a grievous humanitarian violation. A man burned alive in a hospital while connected to an IV. Israel targeted and killed support workers following an approved path and schedule. They shot a child and then killed all those who came to help. These actions are just individual stories out of the hundreds of thousands already dead, and there will be more as aid is still blocked off from a starving population. I know the risks of media warping the narrative, but these are backed up by statements from the UN itself and from organizations such as Doctors Without Borders. And the US is supporting it, with money, arms, and even personnel. I learned about the Holocaust in school and always wondered how people didn't stop it. I could understand that some people had guns to their heads and chose to protect their families. But the US doesn't have a gun to our head, do we? Why are we supporting something so depraved and inhumane? I don't think it's possible for us to have a national interest so strong that we can excuse hundreds of thousands of innocent lives lost, and if we do, it's not a national interest we should have. Please, please take any and all actions available to stop the flow of arms and support to Israel, and help get the US back on a course for good that we can be proud of. Please - my heart is breaking.
