Ideas for Shoegaze:

Things I want the listener to know about me by end of set:
1.	I was in a ska/punk band.
2.	I’m against sexism, racism, homophobia.
3.	I work in a warehouse with racists.
4.	I’m from Kentucky, and slightly ashamed.
5.	I have depression and tendencies towards self destruction.
6.	I have a tendency to rant and sometimes those rants get silly/absurd/inane.
7.	I’m fat and coming to terms with it.

Genres of comedy:
1.	Absurd-ish
2.	Storytelling
3.	Self deprecation
4.	Wordplay
5.	Possibly insane/slowly going insane over course of album or career

Skits:
1.	Punk guy selling pant sleeves and fixing bikes in exchange for vegan food. Possibly do this bit as an advertisement halfway through the album. Maybe all the skits can be little advertisements, reminiscent of using spotify or youtube.
2.	Call for understudy; a person (preferably female) dressed like me does a bit and then I return.
3.	Advertisement for fictitious, better comedian. (for the live show someone can come on stage and interrupt to advertise other things people could be doing other than watching my show)
4.	Possibly die at the end of each album and be somehow reborn by next? Like cartoon inconsistency. Or maybe be arrested for being too hilarious…oof.
