Tsaaq: Prudence was seated on the couch with her legs crossed as she watched her grandchildren do things by the menorah. "Are you sure you put the presents over there?" She asked wearily. // Persephone rolled her eyes. "They better have eight days worth of presents for me." She grumbled, not doing shit. // Sedrick scratched his head and shrugged. "It should, right? Right under the table." // Drew was frowning and obviously pissed off about the jew stuff. // Bliss was standing by Eli and prodding him with her index finger. "Do something before my family embarrasses themselves please." She whispered to him.
Covet: Eli looked over at Bliss and smiled, "Don't worry, I've got this." They'd already done the dinner/food things Chinese food and Latkes, which Eli had filled himself up on both. So Eli figured he'd start doing the present thing, making sure everyone got something as he went about handing them out including ones, to Bliss, His parents and all of the Maverick clan. "Persephone, You only get eight days of presents, if you're actually Jewish, or marrying one." He said as he handed her the blue wrapped box. "Thank you Prudence for hosting again, as always." He told her as he handed her a heavy-ish box. Then a flat rectangle one was handed to Drew, and a small neatly wrapped one went to Sedrick. A tiny box for his mother, and a flat present for his Dad. Then he gave Bliss hers, in a perfectly square box. "Everyone's got one right?"
Alexithymiaa: -Neil sat on the couch with Lisa next to him, the wine glass never leaving her hand, and honestly also kind of never leaving her mouth. She's probably like three glasses in by this point. Neil had a few presents neatly wrapped in blue and silver paper sitting next to him on the couch ready to give out, waiting patiently as Eli went about handing out his. "Looks like everyone has one. Well done Eli." // Lisa tipped back her wine glass and finished it off, smiling to her son when he handed her the small box. "Thank you Elijah."-
Tsaaq: "Persephone." She said angrily as she stared daggers at her. "Sorry about my grandchildren." She turned to Neil and Lisa. "Seddy sit down next to mama." She patted the spot beside her on the other side. "We're doing presents now. No need to fuss." // She scrunched up her nose at Eli. "Well that's not fair. Then why are we doing this? My fiance isn't Jewish." She complained as she took her gift. "What?" She asked Prudence then rolled her eyes again. "What is this? Chanel?" She asked shaking the box. // Sedrick obliged his mother cause he was a mama's boy, as opposed to Jason who was horrible. He went to sit down beside her and nodded his head. "Yep. We're all set to go!" He said to Eli. // Drew was in the corner being angry, ready to burst. // Bliss exhaled and went to latch her arm on his. "Ignore her." She muttered. "Yes, I've got mine!" She went to kiss his cheek.
Covet: "Because this isn't about you or your...wait? You're engaged now? When did that happen?" He asked stopping in his tracks then shook his head, "I hope they are all something you will enjoy"  He looked at Bliss, mostly excited for her to open hers, because well that shit was thoughtful as fuck.

Alexithymiaa: -Neil looked down at the gift in his hands and started to slowly unwrap it, his smile spreading across his face as he studied the notebook. "Wow Eli, good call. This is very cool." // Lisa watched Neil open his gift before going to her own, peeling off the wrapping paper before looking over at her son through watery eyes. All she did was cry lately because Tae. "Thank you Elijah. This is perfect. The perfect gift. Thank you so much."-
Tsaaq: Prudence rose her eyebrows as she opened her gift and smiled. "Oh my goodness, this is so thoughtful of you Elijah." She sighed. // Sedrick was estatic to see his gift. // Persephone grumbled. "Of course we're engaged! We're in love!" She lied as she began to open her gift. // "What the hell is this?" Drew asked as he opened up his game. "Is this supposed to be a fucking joke? And why isn't Tae here?" // Bliss squealed as she jumped up and down and went to kiss Eli once she opened her gift. "I love it!"
Covet: Eli looked at his Mom, "It's just a aeration spout... you don't need to cry, Mom...." he said looking at her. He knew why she was sad, but was trying not to think about it and didn't want it brought up tonight, because of the already noticable tension from Drew's corner of the room. "You're all very welcome." He said looking at Drew for a second, just giving a polite smile then held Bliss giving her a kiss back. "Fantastic, I'm happy that you love it."
Alexithymiaa: -Neil set his gift down before picking up the boxes and envelopes they'd brought with them, carefully handing them out to everyone in the room. "I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmukkah in true holiday spirit." He said before sitting back down. // Lisa burst into tears at Drew's question of where Tae was, moving her hands to cover her face because she was already tipsy. "I'm sorry... excuse me..." She got up from her place on the couch, walking quickly out of her room and to the bathroom to clean herself up.-
Tsaaq: "Andrew!" Prudence shouted. "Don't mind him. I'm enjoying this. It's new and very fun. Thank you for sharing this with us." She smiled to Eli. Her eyebrows furrowed as she stood, leaving her drink behind. "I'll go talk to her." She whispered as she went to the bathroom behind poor sad Lisa. // Persephone pursed her lips as she began to open her other gifts. "Well... I suppose this is nice. But it would be nicer if Jason was here." // Drew furrowed his brow and crossed his arms. "You don't think I don't know what you're doing to my family?" Drew asked. "This stuff is nice. And thanks. But it isn't cool that Tae isn't here." // "Of course I do!" She smiled before going to open her gifts from the Cohens with a pleased smile and went to open the envelope, her eyebrows raising. Before she could comment she looked to Drew. "Stop it please. You're upsetting everyone and we want to remember tonight finally. It's our first Chrismasukkah."
Covet: Eli gave a soft look as his mom walked out, then turned to Drew, "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm only trying to help bring us together. Tae...is with friends from the college and is busy...figuring herself out." He said dismissively, as he opened up his gift, "But thanks for making my mom Cry, du-....Oh my Moses...Dad... Thanks!" Eli exclaimed as he looked up at him, Then looked at the envelope furrowing his brows, "Really? Can we get married first?"
Alexithymiaa: -Neil sighed as he watched Lisa rush off, walking over to Eli and Bliss and giving them both hugs. "We're just thinking ahead for the future. Hopefully the near future." Neil spoke with a grin, his eyes turning back to look toward the bathroom. "Another difficult Christmukkah in the books. I suppose I should fetch your mother from the bathroom and bring her home so she can use her new gift in the comfort of her own home."-
Tsaaq: Persephone furrowed her eyebrows, seeing Bliss and Eli's gift of a babies r us thing. Great, another thing for her to be jealous of. "Well..." She trailed off before squealing as she stomped her foot and stormed out. // Drew frowned at Eli and went to the kitchen for drinks. "Fuck you man." He grumbled. // "The near future?" Bliss repeated and sort of stood there in a blank stare of horror.
Covet: "Dad....I.. uh.. Thanks?" He said rubbing the back of his head, "But...we're doing this in the correct order. So you'll have to wait to be grandparents." He said then nodded, "Yeah.. Yeah.. That sounds, like a good idea. Thanks for coming and  Next year's will be better. Tell her I love her?" He asked because he really didn't want to feel anymore guilty about doing secret shit for Tae behind his Dad's back. Conspiring with his mom and all.
Alexithymiaa: "Soon. Soon." He said as he patted Eli's shoulder like he knew something he didn't despite the fact that he definitely didnt. He walked over to the bathroom, knocking and waiting for Lisa to come out before wrapping her up in a hug. Patting her back and letting her dry her tears on his shoulder like a good husband, he turned to let them out because now he just wanted to get Lisa home.-
Tsaaq: Bliss and Sedrick were the only Maverick's left in the living room and Sedrick was too caught up in his awesome gifts to even care about his horrible niece and nephew. On the other hand Bliss was staring and Neil and then turned to Eli. "Have a good night." She waved her hand rather lack lusterly and crossed her arms over her chest, falling silent because nothing in her was ready to be a mother.
Covet: Eli looked at her and wrapped his arms around her. "I'm going to see if we can just secretly exchange this for a movie theatre giftcard instead." He told her quietly , "I'm currently enjoying the best years of my life, doing things that are not child related. I'll hold him off by saying we're practicing really hard...but that wouldn't really help...Uh.. well...just don't think about it. We know what we're doing." His voice pitched and he cleared his throat"
Tsaaq: She furrowed her eyebrows and stared at Eli very skeptically. "Shh." She hushed him hurriedly, she didn't need him talking about sex when she was busy freaking out babies. "Let's go home." She sighed as she went to take his hand and lead him out of the house.
Covet: "Of course..." he said giving an awkward sigh, more embarrased than freaking out, THANKS DAD....was all he could think. "Do you mind if we stop by the OCH, I have a gift card my mom gave me, to drop off for Tae."
Tsaaq: "Of course, I wouldn't mind checking up on her before bed." Bliss said as she walked with him to the car and stuff.
