  1. # Name: Galeazzo Renieri
  2.
  3. **Age:** 28
  4.
  5. **Gender:** Male, doesn’t care about what pronouns are used
  6.
  7. **Species:** Human
  8.
  9. **Occupation:** Bodyguard
  10.
  11. **Physical Description:** Tall, pale, and lanky, seems to be 6’1”. He has black hair with light brown eyes, though those eyes are usually covered by his small glasses with tinted circular lenses. He typically wears a boater hat, short sleeved shirt, and a pair of light chinos. On his left hip, he has a bag that goes along his thigh.
  12.
  13. **Personality:** He comes off as well put together, very professional, or at least hopes to. In his head he is extremely confident and cocky, though he rarely lets that side come to the surface, unless talking about his knowledge of Hooks, claiming to know more than his grandfather at his prime.
  14.
  15. ## Personality Traits:
  16.
  17. **Belief: (Catch and Release)[2]:** Galeazzo has a code to how he handles targets, he doesn’t kill like his grandfather did, not unless he has to. He believes in simply disabling or rendering his target unconscious.
  18.
  19. **Passion: (Family Legacy)[4]:** Galeazzo is extremely invested in upholding the art of Hooks and passing them down so that they can continue to see use in the future.
  20.
  21. **Fury: (Soiled Clothing)[3]:** Partially because Galeazzo is trained to use Hooks in a way that minimizes contact with a target, he becomes decently irritated if an opponent happens to get their or his blood or some similar grime on his clothing.
  22.
  23. **Likes:** Good drinks, nice clothing, skillfully subduing his opponent and getting paid to do so, fishing, and his grandfather.
  24.
  25. **Dislikes:** Grime (unless it’s fish related), music that is too loud, bright lights, fire, electricity, and the winter (he doesn’t like ice fishing).
  26.
  27. **Hobbies:** Fishing and training (he is a very boring person)
  28.
  29. **Short Term Goal:** Catching a really big fish
  30.
  31. **Medium Term Goal:** Proving that his Hooks mean a damn
  32.
  33. **Long Term Goal:** Getting married, settling down, and passing the art down to his kids.
  34.
  35. **Bio:** Growing up, Galeazzo’s father was absent. Instead, he lived with his mother and grandfather (on his mother’s side). His mother worked most of the time so he was left alone with his grandfather, who was growing quite old at the time. It was his grandfather who taught him how to do everything: cook, fight, fish, everything good about life. He was incredibly close to him before he died. He was left a number of things after his grandfather passed when he was 17: a notebook, a selection of weird yo-yos, and tools to maintain them. Galeazzo recognized one of them because his grandfather used it whenever the two of them went fishing, though Galeazzo was forced to use a rod as normal. After reading the journal, the young Galeazzo learnt of Hooks and started studying them as their use case, as it seemed it was important to his grandfather and his grandfather’s father. There was also a small amount of writing related to his grandfather’s life in the mafia in the US during the 60s, which was interesting for him to read. Galeazzo kept practicing with hooks after graduating and going to university, though university quickly lost its appeal to him. He would much rather spend his time using the knowledge his grandfather passed down to him. Eventually he became a bodyguard, because that meant he could use his skills and be paid for it, not needing to kill anyone.

  37. # User Stats (14)
  38.
  39. **Strength: 2** - Not incapable when it comes to feats of strength, however they are just fine at best.
  40.
  41. **Agility: 4** - Finely trained reflexes from using a Hook for many, many years. Their actual speed is one league below, but is still significant.
  42.
  43. **Endurance: 2** - Dealt with pain often because of their job, was shot once, will never get used to the feeling.
  44.
  45.
  46. **Art of the Hook: 5** - Galeazzo has been trained by their grandfather in the art of using a Hook. A Hook is a Spin-based tool that generates rotational energy using the flick of a wrist while using an almost yo-yo like too. Hook users are unable to use Spin outside of this specific tool. There are several different grip styles and techniques for Hooks, most being related to locking down an opponent with the wire of the tool and either strangling them or disarming them.
  47.
  48. Hooks have an ultimate technique called High Art Angling, which can only be used if a Hook user hooks their own eye with their tool. After piercing their own eye with their tool, they pull it out and it becomes a spectral hake enveloping the hook on the tool. The user can see from this hake head as if it were their eye. When the hake head embeds its teeth into a target, the area around the bite becomes numb and immobile, this area slowly spreads the longer the hake head is in the target. This ability cannot affect stands and the hake head can be forcefully removed from a target, which will stop the ability's effects at the cost of wounding the target further. Their eye seemingly returns to normal after the technique is deactivated, appearing back in the socket as if nothing happened.
  49.
  50. **Particular Style: 1** - Galeazzo seems very particular about their clothing and way they do things, generally ending up taking near-useless actions before doing what they actually set out to do. For example, they seem to have a habit of adjusting their glasses before using certain techniques or going for a decisive attack, they will also dust off their clothes quickly if they become dirty, and they seem to be very specific about how they draw stuff from their bag, almost always using their right hand despite the bag being on their left hip.
  51.
  52. **Equipment:** A hip bag containing a large amount of Hook-related paraphernalia: An old journal belonging to his grandfather, two antique hooks (fishing wire, fishing hook), three modern hooks (steel cable, slip hook), a singular razor-wire Hook (razor-wire, fishing hook), and miscellaneous parts for repairing a broken Hook or creating a new Hook (extra wire, hooks, and bases).
  53.
  54. # Stand Name (17): 「Def」
  55.
  56. **Stand Type:** Phenomenon
  57.
  58. **Stand Appearance:** The stand takes the shape of silver metal clamp brackets that its ability creates.
  59.
  60. **Stand Ability:** The stand has the ability to place clamp brackets over objects that the user or their hook touches that are against another surface. For example, if the user touched the enemy's shoe with his hook, he could then clamp their shoe to the floor or clamp the line of his hook to their skin, should he manage to wrap it around them. The user can manage the tightness of these brackets to effectively make the thing caught stuck to the other surface, uncomfortably tight to squeeze an opponent’s limbs, or loose enough to act as a pulley point with his hook. These clamp brackets can be destroyed and if they are they appear to simply dissolve into nothingness.

  62. **Power: C**
  63.
  64. **Speed: B**
  65.
  66. **Durability: B**
  67.
  68. **Range: C**
  69.
  70. **Precision: C**
  71.
  72. **Potential: None**
  73.
  74. **Stand Oddities:** Damage does not seem to transfer from the brackets to the user. The user has a tell when they are managing the tightness of the bracket, they tap their temple with their index and middle finger.
  75.
  76. **Fighting Style:** The stand is typically used in conjunction with the user’s Hooks to lock down opponents, disabling them. Works well as a support
