  2. Dear Customer,
  3. To fix it, please do the followings:-
  4. (a) Firstly, go onto PC's Start(Windows Logo)>Control panel>Device Manager>Check Under "Others" (If existed) any yellow mark adjacent to any option founds then uninstall it by right clicking respectively while device is connected with pc.
  5. (b)Temporarily disable the PC antivirus software (If Present) before re-trying the process.
  6. (c) Enable "Media device (MTP)" on the USB computer connection screen which pops up automatically.
  7. Otherwise go onto the Settings>Storage>Press on three dots i.e Menu icon present on top right side of screen which gives "USB computer connection" option to click on "Media device (MTP)".
  8. (d) Then the required drivers( Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device) would get installed automatically which only requires presence of active internet connectivity on the Pc while accomplishing the connectivity task in the following way
  9. Settings>More...>Tethering & Portable hotspot>Enable the "USB tethering" Option in it & wait for the drivers to install which comes automatically.

  11. After trying of it, If still such a problem persists then retry the above mentioned process on another Pc with having all pc administrative rights which lastly would surely solve your concern.

  45. We have followed your procedure with both USB Debugging Off/On, there are changes in the Network adapter, however
  46. there is no modem port exposed.
  47. We have also tried changing USB ports, but there is no change.

  49. Please provide us with some solution to get modem port enabled (Windows 7).

  51. Note: "USB serial bus Controller" under others (Laptop-specific hardware)is independent for the above procedure.
