personal background: She grew up going to a private school is France that focused on the arts. Since her father works in art restoration and her mother is a museum curator, she developed a love for arts and painting. Her parents attempted to teach her Korean and she can speak with them and other Koreans in France, though her knowledge of Korean slang is slightly lacking. Her English is especially poor though.
personality: Nayeon is and artist with the heart of an explorer. She loves landscape paintings the most and enjoys drawing things that have lots of history and stories behind them. She hates to be bored and wishes that school would teach more fun things that interest her. History especially is a class that she thinks has potential to be fun but is instead super boring. She loves to try new things and doesn’t let fear hold her back in pursuit of knowledge and finding pretty things to draw. Although she is very smart, she tends to come off as less smart because of her lacking English and disregard for things that don’t interest her. She can get good grades pretty easily in most classes but would much prefer to be roaming the halls talking with the paintings. To her, finding out new things that were right in front of you is the greatest adventure of all, and doesn’t feel the need to travel. In fact, she was actually upset about having to move in order to go to Hogwarts, especially since her first language is technically French. Part of the reason she spends so much time roaming the halls is because it is familiar to her to be around art, and in such a new in different place, familiarity is something she craves.

how you meet: After a quidditch match between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, Nayeon was waiting for everyone to leave because she wanted to draw the field after the match. Jimin noticed that she wasn’t leaving like everyone else and went up to talk to her. He said that he didn’t want her to be lonely, thinking she could use some company. She said she would appreciate it at the two chatted, or rather, Jimin chatted while Nayeon drew. From there the two began a friendship.
how you act around him:
At first she treated him just like one of her friends. They would laugh and talk and hang out. Eventually, she started developing a crush on him. When she realized this, she started avoiding him in hopes that her crush would die off. However, it only grew and both of them were just upset about being apart. So, she told him about her feelings and he was super happy because he had felt the same way from the start. She really admires how hard he works and it inspires her to work hard as well, even at things she isn’t particularly interested in. His bubbly personality fits well with her love of adventure and overall, she feels more relaxed and happy when she is around him.
how he acts around you: He was interested in her from the beginning, when he though she was cute and went up to talk to her. When they started becoming close friends, he decided not to pursue his feelings and focus on being a good friend. He would make jokes with her and plan fun activities together, even asking her to watch his late night practices, leading to some newfound quidditch knowledge on her part. It was only after she confessed to him that he brought out his sweet romantic side. He would shower her with even more affection and became more physical, hugging and holding hands with her more often.
