Uri - Round 2 Mr.Blazard

A short scene to display the growth of Uri over the past few years... He's come back, this time with the intent of defeating the Raging Blazard, a beast they were barely able to defeat with a party of five... Now he revisits the site as a party of two with none other than his best friend Esbern. He uses this to gage his strength, to see if he was truly worthy to even think about protecting the crown, to see if his progress has truly gotten anywhere... He was a medic yes, but one willing to dive into battle for the sake of protecting others... He made an attempt to use his Phoenix Sanctus but... Surprise surprise, that focus caused him to be defeated in the end, only barely defeating the Blazard thanks to Esberno delivering the final shot after Uri had been knocked down.


[12:21] Uri Sanctum says, "Ohohooo..."
[12:21] Uri Sanctum says, "Sneaky bugger."
[12:21] Esbern coughs and spits out some dirt.

"I... snuck past it before"

[12:23] Uri would work to push himself up... He knew they were close to defeating it..This time much more than when they were freshly into the field of crafting.. Now Uri was on a mission, to defeat this thing in a party of two or less... His sister did it with three to four..But Uri and Esbern, they brought the fire and ice and so... This was a victory, soon to be.

"We got it, we're almost there! Hey Blazard! Wait till I get up and I'll out burn your flames!"

[12:24] Esbern Antioch says, "Lets wait till we're healed up first"
[12:24] Esbern Antioch says, "then... then we actually try to dodge its attacks"
[12:25] Uri Sanctum says, "Yeah, let's take five and devise a strategy."
[12:28] As Uri would get up. He stood on the side. He would ignite his flames, hoping they would gain more of a blessing from the stars, a glow that would turn them into a bright yellow instead of its usual orange hue... He looks over to Esbern, standing there, building up on power.

"We will defeat it this round yeah? I suppose us waiting and taking this break... Is a good method for us to also replenish out energy to mine the ore out of this place after we finally defeat this beast, right?"

He had his eyes set on the Blazard..The same beast that changed his and Faira's lives forever... Now Uri was here today in order to counter those flames. To show that compassion can easily suppress rage, no matter how great.

"Come on Anos… Lend me your strength---No... I must do this, with what I already possess... Yeah, that's right, that's how it should be...Without any true help from the cosmos...And infuse the cosmic gifts I already havewith the flames of mine... My Passione."

[12:36] Esbern noticed that Uri seemed to be taking this particularly seriously. Esbern would then look back up to the fire elemental, the raging blazard, with new consideration, noting how its embers seemed to writhe with a certain... hatred almost. Or was that just his perception? was that his own hatred for them...

'No', he thought, his body growing cold, the air stilling around him. 'We are natural enemies. This must be done.' His thoughts becoming solemn, all goofiness forgotten. Ice crystals form in the air around him as the moisture condensed and froze, only beginning to melt when they came too close to Uri's flame.

His breathing becomes silent, his movements, of the few that that there are, seem to not even disturb the air. In contrast to Uri's roaring flame, the side of the hall Esbern occupied was quickly freezing, with even the flames on the nearby lamps sputtering out.

Esbern finally opens his mouth to speak to Uri, hisvoice lacking its usual bravado and any element of cheerfulness; "Lets finish this."

[12:37] Uri would look to Esbern and then at the Blazard. Only to charge in with the blazing trail of flames behind him. "Ignite...And Shine!" He shouts as the teen would first utilize his meteor dash, turning his flames into that mixture of a golden and orange hue... He would land this strike and work in combination with Ebsern! The battle itself depending on their actions would determine the outcome!

[12:38] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Hehe! We did it!"
[12:38] Uri Sanctum says, "Thanks for the helper upper."
[12:44] Esbern would, at first, stay back as Uri charged forward. Being close friends, they knew each other's strengths - while Uris' fists and flames worked at close range, Esbern worked best at a distance. Blood dripped from his hands, freezing into tiny shards which he then launched at the Blazard, piercing into its flesh.

Part focusing on assisting Uri, and part out of the primordial animosity he could feel for the fire elemental, he summons a raging torrent of miniscule icicles, forming a deadly blizzard. No matter which way the Blazard moved, it could not dodge injury.

The final blow was to be landed by Esbern - a colossal icicle would be launched straight from the floor, and through the Blazard's chest.

Unlike in his previous fights with base water magic, Esbern found himself with no need to catch his breath, he simply stood straight in all his winter-splendor. He then stops to help Uri up off the ground; "We did it, Uri. We finished it off."

[12:44] The Blazard was still the superior being when it all came down to it as it took this round as their second attempt to finally beat it... But it was better than one being against five people and still losing.. For Uri this made him proud, even if his final attack lead to him being knocked down... Esbern was able to finish the beast off at its final moments while Uri still struggled against the flames.

"We're half way there, but... We still have a long road ahead of us... The ol' Burning Road that is.." He pants as Esbern'o would help him up.. "I need to perfect my infusion... So that I'd be formidable, to more people, especially my sister... If I am to defend, a Phoenix has to be strong..."

He looks to Esbern and the actions he's done. They really did it by themselves..From weakling children to decently strong Osronians!
