 Rukia would approach the older man curiously. His eyes are what gained her attention. Something about them seemed Alive in their own right. almost like energy.

The 11 year old would look up towards his face before offering a respectful bow.

[21:30] "Yeah Yeah~ I know but even parents deserve a treat" a simple retort before his hands were held out and palms facing up. she couldn't help the grin slowly sliding onto her features.

Epona reached into her pack pulling out a few wrapped packages which she carefully laid out onto her lap. After counting to make sure they were all there she proceeds to scoop them all up in a bundle, stacking them almost like a pyramid in her father's hands.

In those wrapped packages were, not one nor two, nor three nor five, but a total of seven slices of pumpkin pie all for him.

"Alright! You can open your eyes now~" when he did so, not only would he see the mountain of wrapped packages but he would be greeted with Epona's platinum hues accompanied with a similar ear to ear smile on her face.

"TADA~" she felt most proud of this one.

[21:34] Zhenlin turned his attention to the girl slow as most of his focus was still on the space in the palm of his hand. The lightening had changed it was in the shape of a small dragon coiled in the air resting in his mitts. He let the energy travel back inside his body as he released the breath exercise that he was holding.

"I am practicing the final for of meditation that come to one of my faith on my path. A form of active breathing to help direct the energy that runs through me young miss."

[21:35] Norman opened his eyes, only to see a multitude of pie slices being offered to him. While he remembered training often in his youth, he also remembered something else... the sheer amount of junk food he ate, and while he hadn't done that in quite a long time... he did look back fondly on those days, so the gift appeared to be one he quite enjoyed. "Ah! Fantastic!" He'd exclaim.

"Thank you Epona! You know what, just for that I think you deserve this gift yourself." He'd declare, suddenly reaching to his neck and pulling off an old looking copper amulet that he'd worn since his teenage years. "Here you go, it'll help you feel stronger." He'd explain, going to hand the enchanted necklace over as he ate a piece of pie.

[21:44] Rukia would hold her breath in wonder at the sight of the lightning dragon resting about his palm. She'd make an amazed breath as it surged back into his body.

"Sugoi! sore wa totemo kakoi desu!! Yatte mitai!
(Amazing! That's so cool!! I want to try!)

The 11 year old would hold out her palm too, trying to emulate the older man's lightning. She'd fail however, as her magic affinity is still developing. Instead only making strained grunts as she tried to summon her mana.

She'd sigh at the failed attempt. she'd give a light laugh of embarassment.

[21:49] Zhenlin turned his attention back to the square but gave her a flick on the forehead as she tried to copy him out right. Placing his hand back in his lap as he started to breath simply pulling in the air and letting it drift our of him.

"Do not start there young one this is an exercise of those of the faith. The different meditations are meant to empty the mind, then strength the body and finally but get stress on both. I can teach you but it is a matter of faith for me, if I was to do so you must remain respectful of the belief. Will you be fine with that young one?"

[22:01] Rukia would fell the sudden flick and jump back with some surprise. She'd hold her forehead with both hands before bowing apologetically.

Her voice would be softer now.

From there she'd look back towards him with excitement he'd teach her? really!? She'd have a sparkle in her eye now. She'd almost yell out her response in excitement before catching herself mid-sentence. Choosing instead to speak more formally.

"Hai! Watash- *ahem* Uyauyashiku narimasu."

[22:07] Zhenlin reached out to the storm that always raged above over head in the clouds, he reached for the power of the divine and that divine answered him. For its blessing was in his blood pass down the line to him. His horns grew into place as he tail pushed out into being.

"Good then sit young one and we will begin. But first a story the story of what we.... no what I believe would be the better words.

In the beginning the world was made but it was with out form so five spirit we tasked with giving it shape. There five are the divine dragons or as the faith calls them the divine five.

They are Ryujin, The Spirit Lord he who created the spirit world and the divide between it and the material world. He was the firstborn of the Divine Spirits, tasked with breathing fire into the spirit of man, the first spark of life.

Quetzalcoatl, Master of Serpents It was Quetzalcoatl's task to refine what the Spirit Lords built during creation, born with a heightened sense of grace and insight. So she created the ability for all creatures to age.

Shenlong, The Skywarden he who aided Kraus in creating the stars that line the sky, imbuing within them their familiar trait of cleansing depravity from souls.

Huatl, The Solar Drake created The Divine of Land is responsible for both creating the north and south poles, as well as bestowing upon them their familiar chill. He also help to make the lands that we walk on.

The last of the divine is Jormungand, The Great Leviathan he worked to give every created that walked this land a form.

This are the five divine spirits that the old faith looked to, the point of this exercise to empty the mind to let go of all distractions. Sit with me young one like it do with my legs folded under him and hands in my lap. The Lotus position helps with meditation and I want you to breath. Focus on nothing else but the feeling of the air."

He turned his attention towards the square once again as he pulled in the air feeling it fill his lungs before he released it.

[22:20] Rukia would listen obediently to the older man, taking the time to sit next to him with her legs crossed. She'd look to him as she mirrored the lotus position that he was in. The Izhuran girl would listen closely to his story, nodding every so often as he spoke of each divine dragon. She'd known of their existence but she never knew there was more to learn about them before now.

Upon hearing his instructions Rukia would emulate him. Closing her eyes and taking slow deep breaths. She'd stay like this for a few moments, hearing the sounds of crickets in the distance, the beating of her own heart, and the slow cycle of air going in and out of her body.

She'd try to focus on the breathing, doing her best to put the feeling of the air take focus in her mind's eye. She'd stay like this until further instruction,

[22:23] Zhenlin closes his eyes once he say that the girl was able to follow his instructions he was not going to need his sight for this form of meditation after all. It was about the feel that ran through a person as they allowed all there worried and disappear drain from the mind to find that point of empty.

"Good deep breath allow the air passage through the body and they grant a safe return to its friends that rest outside. Fell it chest expand with every breath and the heart relax."

[22:33] Rukia would nod silently, breathing in through her nose and then slowly back out through her mouth. The girl would steady herself. Her heart calming with each breath until it beat at steady and gentle pace, making her feel more at ease.

The 11 year old would feel more at one with her breathing now as she came to understand each part of the breath, especially the slow inhale of cold air filling her lungs and the slow and controlled exhale that followed...

[22:36] Zhenlin turned to the emptiness of his mind as he focused on his breath taking the breath in slowly and letting it drift our of his body. Slightly sparks arch off of his horns as he did nothing but breath, it was difficult for most to do this. To simply sit in place and let the breath flow through them but it was a necessary part of the meditation. To calm the mind, rest the body and bring peace to the soul.

He let out his finally breath as he opened his eyes once again. "That is good young one now look back on the work with open eyes."

[22:45] Rukia would open her eyes gently. maintaining her breathing for a few more moments before looking back upon the older man with a sunny smile.

"ojii-san.. Watashi mo kaminari o tsukau tsumorida to omoimasu ka?"
(Old mister... Will I use lightning as well someday?)

She'd ask this innocently, it seems the girl has taken a liking to the idea of using lightning like the person teaching her.

[22:49] Zhenlin looked at her before letting go of the lightning letting it flow from him and one to the ground before reaching out and rest his hand on her head giving her hair a ruffle. A bit of it stuck to his fingers as he pulled away from the static.

"It is possible young one I have spent my life using the lightning and if you are willing to but in the work I am sure you will be able to as well."

[22:57] Rukia would smile as the older man ruffled her hair. It was reassuring to hear it from someone more experienced than her. She'd laugh as the hair strands followed along with her newfound mentor's electrified palm.
She'd take a moment to settle her hair back down before responding to him.

She'd have a flowery aura about her now as she spoke.

"Watashi ga Ganbarimasu!"
(I'll work really hard!)

The small girl would then look up towards the older man once again.

"Ah~ Ojii-san! O namae wa?"
(Oh! Old Mister! I never got your name, what is it?)

[22:59] Yawen-An Zhenlin says, "That is good young one the stronger tenant of followers of Shenlong is perseverance to always be moving forward not matter how hard it becomes. And I am called Yawen-An Zhenlin and you young one."
[23:03] Rukia would nod intently at hearing her new mentor's name. She'd smile brightly as she took his name to heart.

"Jya~ Watashi wa anata o Zhenlin-jii chan to yobu yo!"
(Alright~ then I'll call you grandpa Zhenlin!)

She'd say this in the most affectionate way possible. She had nothing but deep respect for him at this point.

[23:13] Rukia would laugh lightly.
She'd gently prostrate herself, bowing deeply to him.

"De wa, Zhenlin-jiichan. Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu~"
(With that, Grandpa Zhenlin. I look forward to training with you in the future~)

She'd remain like this for a few moments
"Amari nai, Kazoku mou inai. Demo... Ganbarimasu!"
(I have nothing, and no family. but I'll work hard!)

She'd speak broken common tongue now.She needed the practice after all.
