  1. Afternoon everyone! You all have shown interesting in attending UMBC's Fall Career Fair this Wednesday. You have either signed up on the sign up sheet on Stefanie's desk, emailed your resume to this email, or both. The purpose of sending your resume was to show that you are fully prepared to have the most fulfilling interactions with recruiters and companies. For those of you who have not sent a resume, I would highly recommend you create one and print a bunch of copies so that after every organization you visit, you are able to provide them something.
  2. These past few weeks, we've tried our hardest to book University vans. This would have been the most convenient, but unfortunately, they have been locked by a separate department unwilling to relinquish any. What looks initially to be a misfortune can actually be an opportunity. Our current plan of action is to take a caravan of student vehicles, but we need volunteers. There are currently 19 people in this email (hopefully no one was missed). My car can hold 5 (including me), so to accomodate the remaining 14, we'll need at least three 5 seater sedans. If you are willing to volunteer driving this day, please reply to this email.
  3. Lastly, the employers attending have been made available to us. Go to this link and somewhat familiarize with companies you'd be interested talking to. If you're not sure what a company is or what it does, do your research so that you can ask more meaningful questions.
  4. The fair is from 1130 to 330, so I personally plan on leaving around 830/845 in the CCIT/Compton parking lot in front of Brady. Computer Club has a group chat already that can be used for coordination and communication Wednesday: https://discord.gg/6A35B9.
  5. Looking forward to see you all Wednesday morning!
